Well, he failed to inform me if any of the seats were available, so I sat in a window seat to Istanbul and a middle seat to Venice. I had to pay $160 for an extra bag to Venice. I asked if the airline allowed military members to check a third bag for free, I was laughed at, and told that US military members get charged more because we're not in the Turkish military. So as you can see, this trip started off horribly. My flight attendant seemed like she was having a horrible day because her attitude and customer service was bad."

Plussat: "I used the prime lounge in Istanbul and when it was time to go, I was able to practically walk on the plane without any wait. The seats were comfy and didn't have a ton of legroom but it wasn't bad. The staff we're friendly and helpful. The in-flight entertainment had a pretty impressive selection and had one of the best-designed interfaces I've seen so far (and I've ridden a variety of airlines). Last and most important, the food was hands down the BEST I've had on a plane. Turkish is killing it, they're my new go-to airline!"

Additionally, there was a small section of the plane which received food roughly an hour later than the rest of the plane. I was on this section, and was uncomfortably hungry by the time I received food."

What did I like? Nothing really. The food choice and quality were extremely very poor, drinks were warm, seats were uncomfortable, TV screens were dirty, full of fingerprints, people not wearing their masks as mandated and no one enforcing it. Shall I go on?
Terrible seats terrible food terrible everything
It was not Lufthansa. It was a cramped United flight. We have health problems and had to pay $472 extra just to get a better seat. The temperature in the plane was freezing. Plus our luggage was not put on the plane and 12 days later, we still don’t have it.
No food except a piece of chocolate and a small bottle of water. It’s a 200€ flight.
No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔

It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc. Also I requested help with transfer to my last flight which was horrendous because I’m one adult with 4 kids ages 1 to 11 and my eldest has sever learning disability. I nearly missed my flight because our flight landed late and I was struggling to keep my kids safe and together while running for the next flight. Somone should have been there to help with transfer."

The flight from Munich to Vienna was delayed by 40 minutes which made us lose the connecting flight. We had to wait until the next morning for a flight to Hamburg, where as we arrived our luggage was lost. The staff ensured us that our connecting flights were waiting for us, however the flights had left 20 minutes prior to our arrival. The staff was nice but the communication was poor."

Dear Sir, The flight was delayed for 2 hours. After 2 hours the flight was cancelled and KLM was trying to transfer us to another flights. Unfortunately there is no flight to Manchester which led us to cancel our flight booking with KLM and rebook with Qatar airways to catch the flight same day. Regards Amjad Juma

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

With Ryan Air you get what you get - a low advertised fare, no frills cattle car with up charges for everything using secondary airports but if you can travel very light and price is by far most important decision factor (or if they are your only option to your destination) it works. It gets you from A to B dependably.

Miinukset: "the crew weren't very friendly, from checking in to landing. too stressed out I think. I wasn't made to feel like I wanted to have a return booking. Also there was pressure to add extras that I didn't want. I resisted but when I've paid for something I don't expect to be coerced into paying more for something I didn't need. For example seat selection."
Plussat: "Although flight was late they made up time pretty well"
Miinukset: "Flight to and from Carcassonne is rarely on time"
Plussat: "fast boarding with no fuss"

Miinukset: "They charged us an additional 55 Euro per person for a boarding pass even when we have checked in on-line the night before."
Plussat: "front-line staff were sincere. Plane was well-maintained."

Miinukset: "Seating uncomfortable, don’t even serve water, charge money to check in 3 days early and for some strange reason they charged 100€ for standard carry ones manufactured by Samsonite for international travel because it didn’t fit in their standard cubby ... the same carry ones they allowed from London to Stansted became a tad too big on return . They remind me of US traffic police that start giving tickets on tiny issues st the end of the month to make their quota . Also many people in the line had bags exactly our size"
Miinukset: "Rude gate agent and they played the blame game as to why they were late!"
Miinukset: "Once we finally got through the archaic baggage drop and security lines, we found ourselves in the tiniest terminal with essentially standing room only. Flight was then delayed by 1 hour. Once Boarding was announced we waited in line for about 30 minutes before they started letting people through only to wait another 30 minutes in a hot corridor (major fire hazard) awaiting a bus to drive us about 100 feet to our plane. It really was a circus, there were about 10 buses that kept circling around the tarmac in front of us, stopping in front of our boarding line, doors open, then inexplicably the bus would take off without anyone on board. We finally boarded a bus and were driven right in front of our plane, yet for unknown reasons we were kept on the bus in about 85 degree weather with no AC or ventilation for 20 minutes!!! There were people boarding the plane as we waited in the hotbox and there was no obvious reason as to why they wouldn't open the doors. People began slowly panicking, one woman was hyperventilating because it was so hot and the air was suffocating. Suddenly doors opened and we boarded plane with no explanation. To make matters worse the AC did not appear to be working on the flight, it was quite warm and humid on the already uncomfortable Ryanair flight with non-reclining seats or free water. NEVER AGAIN!"
Miinukset: "Boarding at Stansted not good. Security took too long. When we arrived at the gate the departure board stated "final call" however the gate hadn't opened yet? No communication as to reason for this delay."
Miinukset: "Delayed , everything is nickel and dime"
Plussat: "Only option available at the time. I would not have flown Ryanair if there had been any other airline flying the route in the time slot. Actual flight was fine, but the process from booking the flight to gettin aboard was horrible."
Miinukset: "Rayanair made the transaction as difficult, uncertain and unpleasant as they could. From the moment the booking was complete, a series of email demands, warnings and impossible conditions ensured that it was never clear whether we and our baggage would get on the flight. The initial price was unreasonably low and the eventual cost was twice what was quoted but it had to be paid as a series of penalties over several days. The contract staff in Athens were clearly demoralized, embarrassed and apolgetic, but had no flexibility to resolve issues in a reasonable way."
Plussat: "The price at booking was great! the flight crew and the flight itself were excellent. Arrived 15 minutes early."
Miinukset: "The online check in was not working, and kept rejecting my wife travel documents although correct! Thus ended up checking in at the ticket counter, and that cost me almost $200. Convenient for the airline!"
Plussat: "Took off on time and arrived a few minutes early. I didn’t have to wait too long for luggage on carousel."
Miinukset: "Sitting next to someone who played music too loud even with headphones. Could hear a constant noise"
Miinukset: "I didn't like that, one of the pasangers was with a little girl and she was screaming all the way from Dublin to madrid and the crew didn't help at all to have a solution! Also when I was inside of the plane I ask someone of the crew if they have space to put my wedding dress and she look at me like I was crazy and they just told me no! With a very bad tone of voice!"
Plussat: "Great crew and service"
Miinukset: "Airport FKB is the worst choice. Over 60 minutes for Bagage delivery while there were only 2 aircrafts."
Miinukset: "While i did check in online and didn’t pay this fee, i found this completly absurd"
Plussat: "The seats are roomy enough. The plane was very clean although it had just landed before."
Miinukset: "The flight was already late when we boarded. Even so, everyone on the plane was switching places between themselves causing additional chaos, with the flight attendants’ approval."
Miinukset: "= sardines and quite unpleasant"
Miinukset: "Late , expensive, loud, no leg room seat do not tilt !"
Miinukset: "Our flight from Menorca to Barcelona was delayed. We got to Barcelona for our flight to Berlin about 3 minutes after checked baggage was closed. They refused to let us check our bags so we had to go through security with are checked luggage. I had to throw away three beautiful bottles of French and Spanish wine. They also told us that the next flight they could get us on was Sunday when our flight that we were on was on a Thursday. So, we ran through the airport, through security, and through the terminal to get to our flight. We arrived at our gate to see that no one had boarded and an announcement that our flight had been delayed an hour. Not one person on the Ryanair team told us about the delay. It was an awful experience and I will never fly cheap airlines again. It's not worth the savings."
Plussat: "Take off delayed due to some technical issue, but still landed on time, very nice"

Plussat: "Got me to Barcelona with time to spare."
Miinukset: "Realized I could've taken my baggage on board and stored it overhead after I watched larger bags than mine stored over head. I was given the impression I had to pay baggage fee."
Miinukset: "I did an online check-in the day before flight and chose to allow the airline to choose my seat so I could save a bit of money. I had a connecting flight and had 1 hour layover when arriving in Amsterdam to get to my gate for flight to Dublin. I did not have boarding passes and was told I could get them at the Gate since I checked in online. Got to the gate, they said there was no record of me checking in online, so I would have to pay €50 per person (my husband and I) in order to get on the flight. I needed to get to Dublin so I handed over the money, then was told I couldn't not get on the flight and had to be rebooked for a flight 4 hours later. I then had to go to the ticketing desk where I was told my only option was to pay a fee of €200 (€100 per person) in order to rebook my flight. All in all I am very upset with how everything happened, I am out a ton of money. The original cost for both tickets was €87, and I paid an additional €200 on top of that just to get where I needed to go, on my questionable acts on behalf of the airline."
Miinukset: "Charges 50 euro per person if you don't check in two hours before. Doesn't matter if you actually buy it last minute (flight leaving within an hour), they will still charge you a penalty since you didn't check in more than 2 hours ago. When you try to explain it to the employees, they just stare at you, look at their piece of paper, and say you still have to pay. Absurd. Flight was delayed obviously. Seats are small and don't recline. A tall person should never fly with them. Obviously no entertainment. Don't even give you free water."
Miinukset: "The flight was overcrowded, cramped, and loud. The passengers were boisterous with no attempt by the crew to control them for the comfort of other passengers."
Plussat: "Nothing expect that it was a direct flight and despite leaving late, we arrived on time."
Miinukset: "The plane was uncomfortable, the staff was rude, boarding was a NIGHTMARE, check-in was stressful, everything seems to cost extra, and take off was delayed due to a passenger not feeling well and being unsure whether or not we could fly with him on board."
Plussat: "It was on time and comfortable"

Miinukset: "DELAY on this route is very normal appearance."
Plussat: "It's affordable and Ryanair offer a lot of routes, so really when you're planning a complicated trip, they're a good option at times."
Miinukset: "Their check-in systems are really brutal. We were flying with a 20 month old and had overweight bags. We were happy to pay for them but we had to go find an attendant to take our payment because their automated system doesn't do that. I know they're saving money on staffing but I had to seriously consider if it was worth saving a few hundred dollars to go through some pretty epic frustration."
Miinukset: "four hour delay--missed my appointment"

Miinukset: "Plane was half hour late and they refused to post that it was delayed. We landed 30 min late. We also SLAMMED into the Tarmac, felt very close to a crash landing. It was a scary. I have never had such a violent landing. Couldn't have been good for the plane. All the passengers were clearly worried. Not the way you want to stay a trip. Not comfortable w this trip, probably wouldn't recommend Ryan. It also feels like your on a subway car in the sky."
