Morning flight to santorini, the crew randomly pick the passenger who bring hand luggage more than 8kg.. force them to check in without cost. From gate to plane take a bus. Flight is 30 mins so short n they give small water bottle only.
It would have been better if one of our luggage had not been left behind and reached our house only 6 days later... :-(

Miinukset: "The boarding was kind of a train wreck, confused, delayed, etc. But that was really due to airport staff and the bus boarding, not the Aegean staff."

Miinukset: "I had round trip flight with Aegean airline from Santorini to Athen and Athen to Santorini, Both flights had DELAYED FOR ONE HOUR!!! My gateleg table was broken on Athen to Santorini flight so I ate my lunch in a hard way!!!!! On the way back after one delayed finally we arrived at Athen airport and I had two more flight to caught. when I got my luggage do the next flight I realized literally my luggage was destroyed!!!!"

Why should we have to run when the intial connection was 45 mins. Because one plane with the SAME airline is running late and gives us 6 minute's to get to the gate, that should not be any fault of the passengers. Radio the other flight and have them hold. I got an email that the gate changed TWICE. the airline employee did not get that memo at all. So we were raced to the wrong gate even AFTER, I mentioned the gate change. A real frustrating experience all together."

Plussat: "We had a technical problem after take off and our flight needed to return to Athens airport. The Captain assured all the pax this was not a safety related issue, and a fresh plane would be ready for us when we landed in Athens. After landing in Athens at a remote gate, we were bussed to the terminal, waited for no more than 10 minutes to another aircraft to make our journey to Paris. As we got on the bus to go to the new aircraft we were handed a letter with apologies for the disruption. In this letter we were offered a free flight anywhere within the Aegean Airlines network, valid for 12 months. I thought this was great customer recovery. The same technical and cabin crew took our new plane to Paris and we managed to make up a reasonable amount of time delay. This was an unforeseen situation handled very well. Well done Aegean."
Miinukset: "This flight was delayed by an awful 8 hours. We were stuck at the airport through the entire morning and missed half our day in Santorini. There was very poor communication between the airline and us so we were utterly frustrated at the experience."

It's also very difficult to get someone from customer services to help - they seem to pass the buck to someone else always and you're left running in circles."

Some of the people in AEGEAN airlines were extremely rude and had no empathy for us, it was an awful day!!! because we had no sleep cause we where there at 2 am in the morning cause the flight was at 5:15 and we did that because we wanted to be for the whole day in santorini so you can imagine how frustrating and upset we were, they just gave us a snak for 6.50 Euro and 10 hours later We literalaly had to figth for our Food, We will apriciate if youu can do something about it or get us a refound, we where 3 people: ana Marrufo, Estefani Escoffie and pamela Ramayo"

I can't honestly describe this flight because my partner and I were unwillingly kicked off of it. We paid full price for our tickets and were confirmed and on time for our departure. However, we were not given seat assignments. When we went to the boarding gate to remedy us, the attendant literally shooed us away saying that the flight was overbooked and we were in standby. After boarding ended, we watched as people who were late for the flight were allowed to board. Then, all of the other standby passengers except my partner and I were permitted to board. As the plane departed the attendants repeatedly told us that "this is how airlines work"--which is to say they overbook us and our flight is not guaranteed. We were reimbursed a payment that wasn't even a quarter of what the flight originally cost us. We were also out up in a hotel room that we were told was downtown--it was 3 miles from the city center with no access to a nearby train. Today we were forced to go through security and passport check all over again for a flight we have been wait listed for. So we had to make this torturous trip back to the airport to hang in tedious uncertainty. I'm not sure when and if we will get home. I'm not sure how many times we will have to relive this airport check in and rebooking nightmare. Lufthansa is hands down the worst airline I have ever flown with and I would not recommend them to anyone.
No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔
