Miinukset: "There was a malfunction on the aircraft after the first taxi attempt. I understand that these things happen but there was zero communication from the captain or the crew. Because there was no power, the A/C was not operational and the cabin grew extremely hot. No water was distributed, and no attempt to communicate the situation with the passengers. The pilot power cycled the aircraft numerous times, which is normal to reset the various systems, but this made many passengers nervous. Finally the issue was resolved and we went on our merry way. In short, all crew-passenger issues could have been resolved with more communication and water. Go forth and sin not again."

Miinukset: "Booked a flight for 2pm that was cancelled after I had made hotel arrangements and the the later flight was delayed by 2 hours! We didn't arrive until 2 am and our hotel got cancelled. The airline took no responsibility and refused to help with a hotel for a 15 hour layover in Istanbul. Their customer service people are rude and extremely unhelpful, doing nothing but telling us we should have flown in a day later for a shorter layover. Seriously?? Totally unacceptable."

Miinukset: "Although I had a book and good seat-mate, the movie screens stopped working after a few minutes for about 80% of us on the flight. That made for a very long 11 hr flight. There was no apology made to those of us with broken screens. and for boarding, the Airport screens when from no gate to "GO TO GATE" and we all rushed there, some of us 2 hrs early. They put us through security where we were stuck with no available restrooms for nearly 2 hrs before our flight. There was no reason for the rush, and there really should have been bathrooms for us."

Miinukset: "I was very irritated and angry about the checking in procedure at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. Lufthansa representatives were extremely slow and inefficient. I already performed the check in online. What is the purpose of online check in if I had to wait in line almost an hour only to drop off my luggage???!! Very unpleasant experience."

Miinukset: "1 person working the service desk. I had a question about our connecting flight from Frankfurt and I was told to call the 1-800 number. When I went to check my bag the woman was very rude and asked me "why do I think I can check two bags?" and questioned my Star Alliance premium silver status, demanding I show her my card (I have no card). My friend was flying with me and she was told that her carry on, mind you had flown to and within europe, was too big for the overhead storage and she had to pay 90 euros to check it and the woman held her boarding pass and wouldn't give it to her. we waited in line at the service desk for over 40 minutes so that she could pay. We arrived to the airport 2.5 hours early to eat and shop for souvenirs. We barely made it in time to get to our gate because of the inefficiencies of Lufthansa. 1 person working a service desk for a large airport is unacceptable, especially when they are 8-10 waiting to scan your baggage and not helping out at all. I had a wonderful flight to Europe on Lufthansa and was absolutely appalled at the attitudes of the airport staff and their lack of customer service."

Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."
Plussat: "The crew was friendly and the boarding process was fast and simple. No food just snacks and what they had was good. Once I got to the airport there was a wheelchair at the gate and it was great because we were on the opposite side if the airport for our next flight and he was very nice to talk to as we were walking."

Miinukset: "The München terminal by the gate has two antic wending machine that work only with cash. Nothing around once you pass security in that part of the terminal. Internet wasn't working either. Poor Germans, they lack ideas and money.... Then the plane had issues, we left 2 hours late because some Computer on board malfunctioned. Many people lost the connecting flights. Overall, I will avoid this airport, and flight path in the future."

Miinukset: "no order in boarding and no chairs in Panama airport. Had to stand for 2 hours before boarding."

Miinukset: "Boarding is always a cluster (it is a mad dash for the gate no matter what section is called) Absolutely no entertainment was offered. Passengers' seats in front of you can almost be reclined into your lap, forcing you to recline your sit into someone else's lap to have some room."
Miinukset: "No seating area at or near the gate we boarded at, and as boarding was delayed, many people ended up standing for some time because we did not wish to wander too far and then be late for boarding."

Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."

We were 2 hours late to take off, when we landed it took 45 minutes to get off & another 30 minutes for bags to start showing up"

Miinukset: "On my return flight to Athens from London, I was told that my hand luggage was too large and needed to be checked. I had to pay an extra 55 pounds (75 USD) to check the bag. On my Aegean flight to London a few days before, I was able to check the bag for free. I do not understand why I was charged for the bag on the way back but not on the way over. $75 is half what I paid for the flight itself - seems way too much just to check a small bag. I will keep this in mind when considering flying with Aegean in the future."

Miinukset: "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

Miinukset: "30 minutes delay on boarding. Flight attendants did not pay any attention to me when i pressed the assistance button. No one ever came to ask what i needed, they passed by me more than 10 times while the attendance light was on but they never saw it. Very disappointing."
Plussat: "They compensated us with a free one-way plane ticket (with lots of restrictions) and refreshments at the airport cafe."
Miinukset: "The flight kept being delayed and they jerked us around for several hours, updating the departure time three or four different times and changing the gate but not updating the board or consistently making announcements. They should have just made a decision and stuck with it and better communicated what was going on. My poor friend was waiting for me in Larnaca so she stayed at the airport each time thinking I would soon arrive."

Plussat: "The cabin crew was extremely helpful and patient with those passengers who were struggling to place possessions in overhead bins. While leaving the aircraft, I was able to call out to the captain that it was an excellent flight and he responded with a big grin."
Plussat: "The flight was completely full so they offered to check in the larger pieces of carry-on luggage for free. On board the plane, the breakfast was really excellent (plane food-wise) and the attendants were very friendly. In terms of comfort, I was lucky to sit in row 3 (yes, that was Economy class), so I actually had some leg room. On my way to Athens, I'd been seated in row 22 and there was no chance to move my legs at all."

Miinukset: "Bought the ticket for Aegean Air flight. 1. Couldn't check-in online. 2. Waited in line at the airport, was not in the system, finally a ma smasher figured out our ticket was with Tarpon airline, found that deal and waited in that line. 3. Was told we had to pay for the suitcase.... Hmm. I thought that was one of the reasons we were paying 4 times as much as a RyanAir ticket. 4. On the return fight couldn't check-in online. 5. At the airport we were told to go the Aegean desk. 5. At the Aegean desk we were told we had to pay for the suitcase again, had to cross the airport to do that. 6. Finally found that desk, not called "Aegean" like we were told, but "GlobeGround" 7. Plane was delayed. 8. At the a Athens airport we were told Taron shouldn't have charged us. What's going on here?"
Plussat: "Flight was canceled and had to stay 3 more nights took boat to Athens. Missed work at home . It cost me over 1000.00 dollars. Reservation was never made by you. I will never use kayak again. Being a senior I became very stressed in a strange country"

Plussat: "Luggage took over 2 days to get to my house from Newark to Cleveland. Lufthansa was great and most of the problems were with United with the lost luggage and delayed flight on the last leg of the trip."

Miinukset: "I purchased my ticket in advance and upon checkin was never informed that I was standby. I dont know why the seats were oversold. Ultimately, I did get a seat but the confusion and communication regarding the standby was stressful"
Plussat: "There was a little more room than I am used to in coach and that made for a more enjoyable flight. The staff was attentive and nice and English skills were good enough so that I did not feel that there were any misunderstandings. I would fly them again and cost was a plus"
Miinukset: "I was charged $90 for something which I was unaware of. I assume it was baggage but they did not tell me when I checked in. I only found out once I was home and reviewing my credit card statement. At the time of check in I was surprised they did not charge for bags but I was not going say anything at the time."

I am thoroughly upset because I contacted the airlines 3 times in May to express my concern with the 30mins layover. And to no avail. My worst concerns are being played out now. It appears that their isn’t any concern from the airlines about this catastrophe impacting so many people. Shame on you."
Miinukset: "The connecting flight departed before the first flight landed. Then I was given the wrong information of gate departure by airport personnel. After running like crazy to find this gate for departure, the plane had already departed before we even landed. There wasn’t anyone around to help, and finally I found an airport worker who gave me the same incorrect information. She was as perplexed as was I. Finally, she directed me to the information booth where I was booked in a flight the next day. The food voucher was insufficient to cover dinner, i had to pay out of my pocket but I was frugal given the financial situation. The taxi service personnel were rude and it took a long time to taxi me to the hotel where I am unable to sleep because I have an early morning g departure. All in all, between the airport delays getting me to the hotel, lack of proper food and treatment by personnel, I am exhausted and lost sleep in the process."

Miinukset: "When we checked in, we were told we didn't have seats because the plane was overbooked. We waited at the gate for information. The attendants were curt and not helpful, they told us they had no information. After the plane was boarded, we were finally given tickets with seats and rushed onto the plane. When we arrived at the Sarajevo airport, our luggage and the luggage of many passengers did not arrive! We waited in a line for 1.5 hours to put in a claim for our suitcases. It was not a good experience."

Miinukset: "I felt like the airlines deliberately cheated me. I purchased a flight that was listed as "economy" , which means I am authorized one suitcase. When I got to checkout they said I had pay for the suitcase. Turns out my flight was economy 'light' flight and I had to go the Austrian airlines desk and pay euro 40 for my suitcase. Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

Miinukset: "When our plane arrived late, many on board had missed connections. We received no help/guidance at gate, other than to be told to go up one floor. One floor up we had to go thru security to reach customer service. 100 people lined up for customer service from 3 Austrian airline reps. After 2 hours of standing, there were still 27 people ahead of me. The woman behind me gave me the local phone number for Austrian airlines and I was able to get on a flight to US leaving in 30 minutes. I managed to make it, and would not have had I waited another hour in line. Why no surge of staff to help? All 3 help numbers on my Lufthansa e-mail receipt could not help. Horrible experience."

Plussat: "Hi there, the gate for the flight was changed at the last minute and I missed the connecting flight from Frankfurt to Vienna. I was told by staff that there would be a 300 Euro fee, plus the cost of the next flight. This broke my heart. why I wouldn't I simply be put on standby and get on the next flight? I ended up travelling by to Vienna by train, over the course of the next several days. I am a lone woman with a developmental disability, travelling to Europe for the first time. It was very disappointing to be treated this way. Thanks for reading."

Plussat: "The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Miinukset: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."

Miinukset: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Miinukset: "Delay again... seems to be pretty frequent on KLM flights at least on the ones I flew with in the past 4 years... this time it was 3hours wait due to a technical issue... no alternative flight option and we ended up getting a very old plane as a replacement. In addition people at info terminals are disorganized and not kind at all.."
