I was given aisle seats on both return flights so I could move about more. The meals were lovely. The airbus was good for peace & quiet from crying children."
Miinukset: "I had left an expensive style of neck/travel pillow i left in my Perth rental car but wasn’t supported to pick it up. I had to arrange for the car rental firm to post it. We had over 3/4 hr to fly. We were boarding. It’s a shame there wasn’t a quick way of getting my pillow to me without customs bureaucracy. It was a simple mistake. A toilet was blocked and temporarily unavailable. Some passengers were taking a long time and queues were building at different times."
Miinukset: "During check-in, I observed inconsistent application of rules with respect to hand luggage. My carry-on and laptop bag combined were 12 kgs and was told that I had to pay excess baggage fees. While, there were quite a few people on the plane whose hand luggage was clearly above 12 kgs."

Miinukset: "The need to pull out boarding passes multiple times-like 6 times- and having to be screened Twice. To even buy some mouthwash i had to show boarding passes. Ridiculous"

Miinukset: "Vegetarian food - portion is too little. This has been the third time with Qatar and the food portion are too little."

Miinukset: "They claimed they have free WiFi, but this is not true. Passengers has to pay if they want access to WiFi. Uncomfortable sitting and you cannot adjust it to a comfortable level. Crew keeps demanding sit need to be upright."

Miinukset: "The way the crew member woke me up for lunch or dinner time.They tapped my shoulder and was pretty disturbed me. If good if you have a sign that we can put next to our seat if we don’t want to be disturbed while we sleep."

Plussat: "This review is for return travel from ATL to MAA (Chennai, India) and back. Route: ATL-DOH: about 14.5 hrs; DOH-MAA: about 4.5 hrs; Likes: 1. Baggage check-in process was simple and easy. 2. Meal preferences was good - I'm a vegetarian and on the onward journey forgot to specify the meal preference but the crew had enough inventory to meat the requirements. 3. Every seat was provided with a small plastic pouch/packet/goodie bag that consisted of a eye mask (very thoughtful), pair of sock, toothpaste+brush (very thoughtful), hand cream. This was very useful and effective. 4. Entertainment - options were good and current."
Miinukset: "Dislikes: 1. Online check-in wasnt easy; towards the end of the process, there is an option to email the boarding pass but this never worked. Not sure if this is something to do with the browser (tried with Firefox, Opera) 2. It would have been good, as part of the online check-in, if the users reminded to specify the meal preferences, etc. I forgot to specify the meal preferences but thankfully the crew had enough of what I wanted. 3. Take a relook at the packaging of the toothpaste tube in the goodie bag. It was sealed in such a way that it was difficult to open it w/o a sharp object. This should have been easier. 4. Seats were the worst part - poor legroom. Worst, the seat cushion is the worst. I think it was just a fabric over a metal seat with minimalist of cushion. ATL to DOH leg was the worst (and the longest leg of the trip). Unless you have open seats next to you it would be a back breaking and painful trip. Seat comfort wise, I would rate Qatar as the worst. Luckily on the return leg (DOH-ATL) next two seats to mine was empty, so was able to stretch and sleep well. DOH-MAA or MAA-DOH seating was little better (think its a older plane; newer planes have worst seats) 5. The website was damn slow while accessing from overseas. Even in the US, at times the website hangs-up, freezes or spins often. 6. Food was ok -dinner and lunch but minimalistic; I didnt see any specific breakfast menu or any coffee served separately (was part of beverage option during lunch or dinner) 7. There was no alert, communication, notification, reminder of upcoming trip via email or text, etc. Many airlines does this very often but Qatar was totally silent on it (they did have my email during checkin). Not sure why."

Miinukset: "-my seat did not recline, which I understand that I was close to the emergency exit but the person in front of me could still put their seat back way farther than they should be able to and I was unable to do simple things like put my glass of water on my tray -I had a vegetarian meal which was literally just rice and ground up brown mush-I have no idea what that much was -I asked twice for new headphones because my was broken but they forgot -When the flight attendant was coming around with water and she looked me to see if I wanted any and I said yes, she just skipped over me. I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

Miinukset: "Hi I travelled on 7/16 from Philadelphia to Cairo through the Jordanian airline . Unfortunately the luggages didn't reach to Cairo airport with me . 3 days later they told me that the luggages in Jordan and I have to travel from Alexandria city to Cairo to receive my luggages . When I went their , I found my luggages were opened and missing much items . I made reports on the airport. The employees in the airport they wondered why the opened the selling box , and the box looks empty. The weight for this box was 32 kilograms in the time of shipping. And I paid $400 for extra weight . But when I received it was like 20 kilograms. Plus I paid $350 for Qater airline for shipping 3 luggage . That's means I paid $750 for shipping 3 luggages and I received it looks empty . I need refund for all shipping and $5000 for damages items , or I will complain this airlines through the American court . Thank you"

Miinukset: "I was given two options to choose from for brunch which were scrambled egg with sausage and paratha. Upon asking for paratha I was told that they ran out of Paratha. This happened very first time with me. Even though the crew provided me with excellent service I was surprised to hear the Qatar Airways could run out of food?"
Miinukset: "Almost missed my flight. I had to take a bus, go through a transfer check, and then take a train to the gate, which got me there so late (even with running) that they were calling my name (and a few others) over the loud speaker."

Miinukset: "The middle console video went out on my husband at the end of the flight, while he was watching a movie. This also happened on the earlier flight from Singapore to Doha."
Miinukset: "I never made it to the Yerevan to Doha flight, because Qatar Airways did not get me to my destination in time. They had an emergency landing in The Azores, after turbulence and several passengers got injured, when the pilot failed to warn passengers to put on their seat belts and they flew into the air, hitting the ceiling before falling down. One passenger had a heart attack. Once they de-planed us in The Azores, not a single Qatar Airways employee helped us on site anymore. Passengers were left in the hands of hotel and airport staff. There was very little communication with the passengers. A relief flight was supposed to come in 12 hours. It did not come for another 35. After the emergency landing, some passengers noticed that a wing looked defective. The disruption may not have been due only to bad weather, but a defective plane as well."
Plussat: "Service always attentive , availability of food on demand outside scheduled meals ."
Miinukset: "Film selection outdated , I flew in April and the WORLD movies had not changed much Aircraft not as good as more recent ones"
Miinukset: "Arrival in Johannesburg was a nightmare due to queues at immigration - I nearly missed my connecting flight. This was not the fault of Quatar airlines but needs to be taken up with the authorities at OT Airport in Johannesburg"

Miinukset: "As I missed this connection flight we were re routed to Cairo then Larnaca. We landed at 6:30pm and didn't get to our hotel until 8:30. Missed my friends wedding. It was a disaster. As a Qatar airway member I feel let down and am disappointed with the lack of interest shown by the airline in relation to an apology of any kind. What can be done about it. I've booked a trip to be a part of my friends special day and instead get to the reception as guest start leaving. I also get fined from the car hire company as they cancelled our hired car due to a no show and have ended up with a less inferior car as that's all they had left. No real apology given si is like to know what are you doing about it?"
Plussat: "Very generous with drinks and water to prevent dehydration. Two very good meals. Professional and courteous crew. Some unoccupied seats allowed passengers to spread out."
Miinukset: "Plane was a little too warm."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed from Doha to London. And I lost my bag."
Plussat: "I really liked the service and demeanor of the crew and staff members."
Miinukset: "I didn't like the handling of an unexpected delay. It seemed to take an hour longer to handle the change over from one plane to another. The staff seemed rather unprepared for how to resolve the issue smoothly and seamlessly. Training in handling unexpected events might be a good way to overcome this."
Miinukset: "I asked the crew to gave me a glass of hot milk cause of my diet, if it's possible, he laughed at me and told me I bring you warm one and never come back with even warm milk"

Plussat: "Cancelled my flight offered hotel vouchers thru 1800 united said they can't at the airport then 1800 united so it can only give vouchers at the airport"

Plussat: "The crew was excellent. They were professional, efficient and very accommodating. The pilot was also excellent. He kept us informed of the status of the flight throughout the trip."
Miinukset: "The plane was terrible. The seats are so close together that you cannot move. The aisle is so narrow that one person can barely down it. Forget it if you have to pass by someone. The bathroom too is so small that you cannot move in it. It’s so uncomfortable. The new boarding process is just dumb. And to make matters worse they don’t even bother to check the boarding groups when you board. I had a person in a later boarding group in front of me and they let her on anyway — so what’s the point of having boarding groups. They should just go back to boarding from the rear of the plane first - that is the most efficient and quick way to do it. The so called entertainment is a joke. There is a very small choice of movies/TV shows to watch and that’s it. The free wi-fi gets you nowhere."
Plussat: "The breakfast on the international flight was pretty good. However, there were more frequent snacks and healthier options when I flew internationally on Delta."
Miinukset: "I didn’t like that my pre-flight request for gluten-free snacks/meals was ignored. I didn’t like the attitude of one flight attendant who couldn’t bring herself to empathize with my allergy to gluten— which causes painful cracks in my palms and fingers."
Plussat: "Power ports at the seats basically worked, thank goodness. If you pay for Economy Plus, there's a basic, humane amount of leg room."
Miinukset: "The bathrooms have been narrowed so that an average male can't turn around without contortions. The conditions, overall, are subhuman."

Miinukset: "Flight delay due to late arrival of flight crew. Should have backup flight attendants for these situations, esp. at a large airport like SFO. Getting in at 2:30 am made for a miserable trip. Should have offered complimentary dinner to everyone when there is that much of a delay."
Miinukset: "They delayed the flight 4 hrs knowing there was issues with the plan and lingered us on what's going on. The staff prepared to leave and come back while we wait thinking we was going to be on time smh, no real snack and no t.v. unless you pay to watch it"

Miinukset: "- My luggage did not make the connection into POS - No United staff meeting flight in PoS to take my report of lost luggage"

Miinukset: "Stewardesses were over worked and their arritude showed showed it. I didn't blame them ."

Miinukset: "My seat was broken and wouldn't stay in upright position. This really pissed off the passenger behind me. Crew kept telling me to put my seat upright, I kept having to tell them the seat was broken. Old airplane with no in-seat entertainment. they advertise on the seat that you can watch all their entertainment content for free, but then you have to pay for wifi to watch so it's not free then, is it? Every movie or show requires "additional software" so you have to purchase internet to do the download. This is an 11 hour flight, I would have appreciated being able to watch a movie or something without forking out $30. Flight was delayed, so we were low on time to make our connection. I asked a flight attendant twice if we could get help deplaning early or at least get moved up some rows since we were in the very back of a 747 (there were plenty of vacant seats). They said no, and told us that customs would only take a minute and that the other united flight knew we'd be coming and would wait. I don't usually fly united; other airlines typically will actively take steps to help (like moving connecting passengers to the front shortly before landing) if they are the cause of the delay. Customs had only one agent working and we were pretty much last in line so that process took over an hour. Just moving us 10 rows forward before landing would have made all the difference because our connecting flight closed its doors and taxied for takeoff less than 5 minutes before we arrived. They had some united employees guiding and directing a couple of passengers that were going to be late for a connection to LAX, but no help for those of us connecting to portland. Customer service didn't even offer a verbal apology. Last time I flew with united, I also had a terrible experience for different reasons. I did not intend to fly united for this flight, but I purchased tickets through and for Lufthansa, and this flight was regrettably operated by united. Another thing I don't like - the food was horrendous. It was a breakfast sandwich that was advertised as "hot and fresh" on the packaging but was served straight from the refrigerator. I was in the middle seats with one person to my left and two people to my right. Everyone took only one bite and threw away the rest. Just don't bother serving the food if it's going to be that bad, it's very wasteful. I always appreciate a hot towelette after a long overnight flight. United offered no such thing which was a first for me. Regarding boarding: they called us all up to line up in boarding groups and then we had to stand in line for 65 minutes. I have a bad back and had to sit on the carpet to avoid being last in line and not having space for my carry on bag. Would have been nicer if they would have just let us sit in the chairs at the gate in comfort until they were ready to board."

Miinukset: "On Friday I was unable to fly to Fort Lauderdale Florida due to airport close due to hurricane. United Airlines refused to refund my money even them knowing there was no way I was able to use the ticket because I never made it to Florida. Airline companies are bunch of thiefs."
Plussat: "Absolutely no delay. Great assistance provided by flight attendants to ensure that everyone quickly secured their hand luggage."

And that was only to get United info. Could not access outside world. Overall still way better than Spirit but also not in league with JetBlue or Virgin."
