Miinukset: "The stewardess actually I insisted that I do NOT recline my chair during the flight. The chairs are already too small. The person behind me didn’t have any room so I had to place it in the upright position. They ran out of chicken on both flights too"
Miinukset: "The crew on board was aloof, and somewhat rude. I was traveling with my 87 yr old mother and they did little to help, especially when we needed the restroom but they had the aisle blocked for most of the time, serving food. There was no way to get around to access the bathroom and the crew turned us away from the only available bathroom in the front. Really?! Not impressed at all. Also the flt was 30 minutes late making our connection tight. One of the young, gorgeous stewardesses was rude and dismissive of me when I asked about it."
Plussat: "The crew were generally hospitable and courteous though not well informed. The entertainment choices were varied and enough. The meals were warm. Turbulence was well managed by crew and pilot. The toilets were clean."
Miinukset: "Flight was late, leaving less time to board connecting flight. The blanket was too small. The food and wine were below standards. The leg rests were absent and not enough room to spread legs. The basket in front too narrow and tight to put in anything. The charging unit for computer/mobile did not function. No clear instructions or help to board next connecting flight either through system or crew."
Plussat: "The service in plane was on average , but this is provided with other airlines I guess"
Miinukset: "The trip was delayed with no apparent reason, they blamed Baghdad airport which they denied, the waiting area was uncomfortable There were people let them in bypassing the queue"

Miinukset: "Plane was old, felt more squished and the seats did not decline. Also very note."
Plussat: "Likes: The staff were prompt and friendly. The food was more varied and imaginative than on other airlines. Also, the fact that you get a refund, without any hassle, if you need to change your travel plans, makes this airline unique."
Miinukset: "Suggestions: A few more centimetres of space between the rows of seats would work wonders. A piece of fruit (apple or tangerine) would add to the enjoyment of the food. A wider range and variety of movies would increase the quality of the entertainment."
Miinukset: "The flight to Lviv was cancelled after 3 hours delay. All happens in life. But the only option Turkish airlines were offering is to fly the next day. I was flying to the funeral and this was not working for me (especially this was their second flight to Lviv cancelled - 2 in a row). The transfer desk didn't inform that there were two other flights going the same day of other airlines. When i approached to help me to go with a different airline the personal was very rude saying they will not help transferring the luggage and that they can't unload the luggage sooner than 3 hours after you go out of the security and passport control. When i asked to book to a different destination in Ukraine. It took 50 min at the desk to do it. Simply because 4 people at the desk were laughing and joking and nobody was concerned about the queue of over 40 people staying. After 30 min it turned out they've lost my boarding pass and it took 15 min to find it as one of the transfer guys managers simply took it to a different room... At the end when they found it it took only 5 min to do the work. I would appreciate more information from the desk about available flights and more support to manage the situation. I'm happy that people at the transfer desk are so joyful and happy it obviously helps to deal with the stressed passengers whose flight was cancel."

Miinukset: "It was a struggle to get our hotel from the turkish hotel desk crew. We were travelling from Cape Town to Toronto with a little baby and had a layover of approx 10 hours at Istanbul. They claimed that our layover was 9 hr 40 mins (and not 10 hours) and I had to argue before we finally got a transit hotel. Their customer service is poor."

Plussat: "I ran late to the flight at 11:30am I arrive just at 10:55am. Of course the check in counter was closed. When I saw the gentleman at the counter opposite the check in, he made his effort to contact his colleague to come all the way back to the check in counter to check my bags and get me on the flight! I saw that they really worked hard to help me! I am extremely grateful and impressed! I will forever LOVE Turkish airlines!"

Plussat: "Brand new, clean and comfy plane, wonderful entertainment. However, frustrating security check performed by Gözen Air Services, mediocre food (it was way better years ago), useless cabin crew with terrible English."

Miinukset: "The Istanbul airport is very large and there are many people. The signage is generally pretty good, but it was confusing getting off the airplane from Berlin and seeing a sign saying something like " foreigners." I waited in that very long line for at least 30 minutes which ate up most of my layover time. Only to find out that it was for people with visas coming into Turley. I was directed to another, poorly marked, line for people transferring planes."

This story is repeating with your airline at 29th July our Turkish Airlines flight from Sarajevo was late for 3hours so we were running at Ataturk Airport to catch connection flight to Istanbul even though we booked 4 hours delay in Istanbul. Miinukset: "Headphones did not work for first half of flight. flight attendant was unconcerned. Very little legroom"
Plussat: "The food was delicious. I loved that there were blankets, pillows, and headphones for everyone and they were not at extra cost. We also received care bags with lip balm, socks, slippers and a night mask as well as a toothbrush and toothpaste. The flight did not seem like 12 hours. Thankfully."
Miinukset: "The flight left early, without me. Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"
Miinukset: "To whom this may concern: I am writing to express my absolute dissatisfaction and poor experience with the customer service and lack of working amenities on flight #TK11 leaving Istanbul into New York City, JFK. It was sadly a horrible ending to my trip and left me with a very unfortunate impression of Turkish Airlines. Less than an hour into the flight I spoke with a flight attendant making him aware that the USB port was not working so I was unable to charge my phone the entire flight. In addition, the wifi was not working. This is a huge problem because I planned on working remotely that day and my job was under the same presumption. The attendant blamed my phone and did not take my word that I was unable to connect until I insisted further and another passenger in front of me turned to my rescue and agreed with me stating the wifi was spotty and only worked for a short period of time until ultimately shutting off. The attendant did not apologize but said he would check on the port and the wifi and would get back to me. I followed up several times and he fed me the same lines until I grew frustrated that I was being completely ignored all while losing a day's work. During the last 20 minutes of the flight I decided to finally walk to the back of the plane and follow up for the last time with someone else. I explained the situation to the other attendant who seemed as though this was the first time he was hearing about this issue and he spoke to his chief who gave me a customer feedback form to fill out. No one offered me a different window seat to fix the port problem or even Miles Plus points for the inconvenience even though I requested it. I have never felt more disrespected and dismissed on a flight before this experience. As a star alliance member (CX765361), I frequently fly for work and personal trips and out of loyalty and assurance that I would be able to fulfill my work duties remotely given the features this airline promotes. I chose Turkish Airlines because it was apart of this program. This experience did not uphold the company's reputation and by flying with Turkish Airlines I completely missed a full day's work, deadlines and was behind when I physically returned to work. For the inconvenience, stress, disrespect and empty promises, I am requesting that Turkish Airlines reimburse me the portion of that flight. Best, Rachael"
Plussat: "Food was tasty and fresh but staff cold and aloof"
Miinukset: "after plane landed, we stayed one (1) hour on the run way till the plane could find a gate to pull into. After as 14 hour flights, this was the icing on the cake!!!"
Plussat: "Food was pretty good."
Miinukset: "Crew was disorganized. Half the plane didn't get the bread that was supposed to be on the breakfast menu. Service was slow and not enough crew. Also had to wait 30 minutes to use the bathroom because the crew told me I couldn't go into the one I was already in line for and the other one was being cleaned. Seats were more cramped than most airlines (and I'm short)."

Miinukset: "Seat comfort and legroom in Economy is below standards for even a domestic flight. Flew for over 21 hours on two concurrent flights and I was almost insane. Last leg was on Jet Blue and I felt like I was in First Class with their leg room and seats."
Plussat: "I always enjoy flying with Turkish airlines it is a breeze from check in all the way destination from food to entertainment it all runs so smooth I will fly with u any day so far that is the best"

Miinukset: "The crew skipped our aisle whilst delivering the toiletry bags, some announcements were made purely in Turkish without regard to English passengers. The boarding gate from Istanbul was opened much later than the advertised times."
Miinukset: "Had to cancel due tp safety situation in Turkey (bombings, Dept of State warning). I had flight insurance but Kayak did not refund a dime."
Plussat: "The crew is super. The food is good and the entertainment system is almost perfect (free WiFi will make it the best ever)"
Miinukset: "legs space, legs space and legs space. I will hesitate to pick up turkish only because of that. in long flights there are a lot of satisfaction factors but this is the most important one for me. if I have to get up every 20 min to stretch, it is not working."
Plussat: "The Crew was nice to us. Especially on our flight back they had ran out of Chicken, I told the attendant that my boyfriend does not eat meat, and a few minutes later he came back with some chicken."
Miinukset: "Boarding took extra long, we went through 3 filters of security, which I can understand, but it was very long process."
Miinukset: "I've flown Turkish Airlines for years, and in the recent months I've noticed the thing I really loved about them- their service, food and beverages, have gone down. The quality and availability isn't what it was 3 or 4 years ago."
Miinukset: "Seating too narrow"
Plussat: "Turkish Airlines has some of the best amenities of any airline: great meals (and often), clean planes, plus two free checked bags for flights between Middle East and USA."
Miinukset: "The plane was overbooked with MANY seats having been doubly assigned. After more than half an hour we were given a new seat assignment (in first class! Business class had already been filled with other double bookings!). They did their best to accommodate everyone though and the remainder of the flight was very pleasant."
Plussat: "Onboard experience very good. Food, entertainment, facilities. Tight seats - per usual."
Miinukset: "Getting boarding passes and checking luggage took two hours. Literally was being dealt with for two hours personally while a couple employees typed and complained to reticket us after airline inexplicably cancelled our reservation on flight home. Until about 30 minutes before departure, no employee had assured us we would get on the plane we paid to be on. Just no concern for the anxiety we were dealing with - and Turkish caused."

Plussat: "I booked a round trip flight from IAD to NUE with stay over in IST. Try to make change flight date IST to NUE. I was told by the Turkish air agent to buy a new on way ticket from IST to NUE and use the origenal ticket from NUE to IAD and I did. The the nightmare begun when I try to get back to back to iAD. I was told my ticket was cancelled and have to buy new ticket. After 7 hrs exosting fight and inconvenience when they found out that I was not easily going to be hustled out $1100+ they finally reissued my tickets. During this time I witnessed how 10-20 customers old and young were being hustled for more money and some crying out of frustration. It was one of the worst experience I've had in my 45+yrs traveling experience."
Miinukset: "Customer service training. Mgmt must be involved in problem solving rather than sending customers to a phone both some of it that doesn't work to talk to folks that don't know what they're doing nor have the authority to mak decision."
Miinukset: "they have no good service at all, no smile face at all. they treat customers like as if we are traveling for free. checking counter are all look like they have bad day, they are in a bad mood."

Plussat: "The most comfortable coach seats I've ever been lucky enough to sit in (aisle and window in the first row of economy)! First time flying an A340-600, it's a great plane for a long trip."
Miinukset: "Well,my whole trip was an adventure! Problem with my checked in bag, so i had to pay 22 pounds extra to fit it in a connection flight and now i have to send receipt to get the refund. On my way back, there was a delay, so i missed the flight and the checked in bag"
Plussat: "The crew was great! I was much more comfortable this trans-Atlantic flight coming home than when I flew over beginning my trip. The hot towels are always a special treat and the wide selection of free beverages. Thank you Lufthansa!"
Miinukset: "It was not noted that I had a gluten allergy even though I had requested special meals online. I had to ask the flight attendants during the first meal to bring me that option. After that, all was great! My personal entertainment screen was not working properly for about an hour in to my flight."

Miinukset: "The flight itself was good. But the connection wasn't. For this schedule, it is next to impossible to make the connection. The gate that the SEA to FRA flighy arrives at is at least half an hour away from the gate that SEA to MAA leaves from and there is a security checkpoint in between."

Miinukset: "App or website didn’t work for check in. Lines at the airport were very long. The flight was over booked so I didn’t get a seat until at the gate. Overall too much hassle. Food options in the plane were horrible for vegans/allergies"

Miinukset: "The usual flight discomfort, but the seat in front of me was broke. The person in it struggled to stay out of my lap, which I appreciated. The connecting flight had a non-functional screen and the reading light broke and flew across the cabin."

Miinukset: "As me ruined in the first leg they lost my luggage and eight hours later they have no idea where it is. After paying over 2000 bucks for a business class flight that really put a damper on things."

Miinukset: "Despite calling 2 weeks ahead of the flight, I did not have a vegetarian meal for this flight or the leg from SFO to Frankfurt. The other flights had the correct meal selection. The plane did not have private screens, only access to personal devices, but it was difficult to keep my device charged to watch a full movie. With an 11 hour flight, that was definitely disappointing."

Plussat: "Comfort, yummy food, exceptional customer service, but the best part had to be the amazing service when checking in at IAH.....the lady who checked us in delivered the best customer service I have ever received by an airline....I would love if she received some appreciation....she was super professional, courteous, friendly to my daughter, explained everything and made sure I understood, and then said "I'll see you upstairs Mrs. Manderfeld to help you further....at the gate" WOW! If only all airline check was like this!"

Miinukset: "temperature in the Premium Economy sections was freezing. Me and the person next to me wore 3 blankets each and were still shivering from the cold. The windows had ice on them (on the outside of course). Several people got up and wore their jackets and sweaters in addition to the blankets. In the Economy section the temperature was just fine (my husband sat there) and we had to alternate seats so that I don't freeze. He paid extra for me to have a more comfortable arrangement, but it ended up being way too cold. That did not happen on the way to Europe..."

Plussat: "The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Miinukset: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."

Miinukset: "Boarding was very confusing. There was an area where they were checking people's bags or something near the gate and you didn't know if you needed to stop at it or continue. They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."
Plussat: "The aircraft felt clean and quite spacious (decent legroom). Cabin crew was friendly and everything went as expected. Bonus points for the Beemster cheese sandwich (I was totally disappointed when they served the food, but more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheese - I even bought some afterwards, from the Albert Heijn just outside the security area)."
Miinukset: "Very odd queue separation at boarding. Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Miinukset: "Aircraft was not very clean,the staff seamed quite harsh at times when speaking to customers. The food was really quite poor but it was a short flight to be honest. Overall not as pleasant as the China Southern flights. I would not like to choose them again unless i had to."
Miinukset: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

A lovely touch. This airline runs like clockwork. They are just great. The sandwich and stoop waffle are nice too."

The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."

There was a disgusting stench of sewerage for the complete flight from Amsterdam to Johannesburg. This was in all likelihood due to the broken toilet on the left side."

Miinukset: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."
Miinukset: "Comfort plus seats need some work. Very thin padding on a hard seat. The leg rest needs to come up higher so you don’t slide down while semi reclined. Nice compromise between business and coach though."
Plussat: "Exit row seat had much more space for legs, very much worth the upcharge for this seat."
Miinukset: "Cabin temperature was very cool for me. Never used a blanket on an international flight before, and used a blanke on this whole 9 hour flight. Maybe a function of the seat location? Not sure but I was cold."

Plussat: "Most of the crew tired especially hard to keep everyone comfortable and safe. The food was absolutely amazing."
Miinukset: "Other members of the crew were snarky to passengers and dismissive of questions from passengers during the early stages of the delay. We were all trapped on board for about 4 or so hours without much communication from the crew or captain which made me very anxious. We arrived 5 hrs late and it put my whole trip in jeopardy. Based on this experience, I eont be inclined to use this airline again for future trip planning. This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times."

Miinukset: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

Plussat: "we had an overnight stay in addis ababa so we got a free accommodation in town, that was so great, a chance to see town and get a good night sleep before our next flight. the plane is big with screens so you can watch movies, the seat is comfortable, even for a tall guy like me (1.9 m)."
Miinukset: "It did took a lot of time since we landed until we got our bus to take us to town to our hotel. we waited in the airport for more than one hour, it was late, and we were tired. but after we got to the hotel, it was perfect"
Miinukset: "Old flight - equipments were not in order like the handrest was broken, TV’s were broken and not functioning, touch screens failed to react to touch, signs on buttons at the handrest were smudged. 3 out of 6 washrooms in Economy class were not working. At one instance I was locked in the washroom as the door was not opening from inside, until I had to call the attendant. Entertainment options were limited. Food was below average. In one of my meals I got opened and melted butter. Cabin crew was not responding to the calls when I needed water. I finally got it after ringing 4 bells and 45 minutes. Overall, a terrible experience and would not choose to fly with Ethiopian again."

Bathroom out of toilet paper and at the end of the flight there was SO MUCH TRASH AND STUFF EVERYWHERE it looked like the ground at an outside 3 day concert. I’ve never seen such a filthy plane. And the food needs improvement."

Miinukset: "The services at the airport was terrible. The Booked me a flight with only a 30 minute layover. When I try telling the people before boarding the plane, big Norred me. When I told the flight attendant she said she would talk to the captain to see if there’s a way I could get a ride to my next plane so I wouldn’t miss it. That never happened. When we got off the plane no one at the airport would help us and when I was trying to run to my next terminal one of the officers at the airport told me to slow down because I wouldn’t miss the plane and I was fine. When I asked help with directions and told him I was afraid of missing my flight people laughed and walked away. When I finally found my terminal and got to it, my flight had already took off seven minutes prior. I absolutelyHated my experience flying with Ethiopian air. The seats are uncomfortable on the plane, not all the seats recline back the same level, and when I was eating dinner I decided to eat chicken since I can’t eat beef and halfway through the check in my stomach started her and I looked up the chicken and it was still pink inside."
