The airline ran late and I almost missed this connecting flight to LGW. The airline didn't act very sympathetic to my situation. I wished that didn't happen as my experience I'm sure would've been much different.

Miinukset: "There are no queues. A free for all to load and unload the plane. If you are looking for Swiss order, look elsewhere. Nothing is free, not water (1.5 euro) or any other beverages or anything else. We paid double what the flight should cost to not even be offered water. The seats were lightly padded to maximize seats. There was a small amount of leg room but some. No power outlets, wifi or media. The worst aspect is I bought a flight on Baltic Air from Tallinn to Riga and had the price from Riga to Paris on the next tab on kayak. I bought the ticket from Tallin to Riga then flipped to buy Riga to Paris only to learn it was a bait price. The price was actually $200 more. Baltic would not refund the first flight (within minutes) so we were stuck to either walk away from our 2 tickets to Riga or pay the bait and switch rate. We begrudgingly paid 400 (200 each) euro MORE than the initial price shown so we could fly out of Riga back to Paris (to be back in Paris by Jan 7). A non alcoholic beverage, a small snack, and power access would be helpful. Ground crew helping with order would be helpful. I was shoved and run over trying to get onto and off the plane. It is the wild west of flying except the plane is new...oh, and it is 30 euro if you do not check in online ahead. But you will still need to stand in line to check a bag (where they can issue you a boarding pass)."

I left one bag at the front of the plane and had another at my feet. However, it was a short flight, so not too unbearable."

Ask for payment for baggage, does something with my credit card- then tells me I need to go to another desk to pay. So inefficient. This on top of her and her gate buddy screwing around at the desk throwing things at each other. Professionalism is not here. To top it off, the plane sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes and we just about missed our connection. Dirty plane too, gum stains on carpet and dirty seats. Will not fly with these clowns again."

Many of us had a connecting flight with Air Baltic from Riga to Helsinki- which we asked if they will wait for us, the crew member said because the flight was also with Air Baltic, they will wait for us. We got there 10 minutes before take off, and the gate has already closed. Furthermore, we got to the Air Baltic counter, we were given 5Euro meal vouchers even though we will be staying at the Riga airport for 9 hours. Also they gave us terrible customer service attitude, which we definitely do not deserve after being delayed, and causing so much trouble on their behalf. Definitely do not recommend flying with Air Baltic again. I've never been this angry with any air line."
Miinukset: "We were told upon check in that there was a charge to check in. I have never heard of such rubbish in 43 years of air travel. We were told we could check in online but we only had 4 minute in which to do it. We were charged €150 for 5 people. The check in Sgent was sour faced as well. Once aboard the plane (a nice new aircraft) we found the stewardesses sour faced as well. Overall not impressed by air Baltic!"

Miinukset: "bag measure frames in Riga airport used for aB are smaller than in most airports, as a results we were asked to check some bags in at the last moment. we have had connecting flight through Riga with two hand bags. lets call them big and small. judge by yourself: flight, aircraft, small, big ->Riga CS3, on board, on board Riga-> DHC 8-400, on board, check in ->Riga DHC 8-400, on board, on board Riga-> CS3, check in, check in as you see, the same bags on the same aircraft were allowed or disallowed by the same company based on weather one flies to Riga or from it. i believe there is absolutely no purpose for doing last second interruptions of such kind"

Miinukset: "the customer service rep stopped only me, the only black man travelling from riga to russia and was scrutinizing my passport for some long agonizing minutes. My russian visa is in the passport and updated and quite visible to see on the third page of my passport and being from Grenada I am able to travel to latvia visa free for up to 90 days. I stood there whilst others walked past me and went to the aircraft. that sucked. may 09 2017 at around 9 am."

Also had to pay to check my bag on a half full flight. Have never had to check same bag with Ryanair on over 10 flights now. Will never use this airline again."
Miinukset: "I tried to check in on my phone and the app did not allow me. The only way was buying lunch in order to move on with the check in process. I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). They charged me in total US$ 100 for checking in and checking my luggage. The service was terrible, especially from the person at the counter. In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."

Due to cutoms delays entering London from Madrid, I arrived at the ticket station for Norwegian 50 minutes before departure, for thw agent to tell me that it was too late to check-in and that I was to for fit my business class tkt (no credit, no reimbursement) and that I need to buy a new tkt (for next day, they only have one flight to Kax) . I know I could have made it to the plane if I was allowed to check in. There are other major negative things about Norwegian Air. This was tje first and LAST time I will fly Norwegian. I don't recommend anyone to flight this airline unless you like pain and suffering."

Miinukset: "although he seem to allow a carry-on bag and a personal item, the misleading print is that the two bags in total cannot weigh more than 10kg. This is extremely deceptive since even a "personal item" such as a backpack with a laptop can weigh almost 10 kg by itself. the policy seems to deliberately make people show up with bags they have to check at the gate for $50. in fact, nearly every passenger had this problem. the employees at the gate, rather than be sympathetic, would just smugly point to the fine print and say "It says it right here!" Seems like a way to squeeze more money out of people since there's nothing else you can do except skip the flight. i did. it authorize them to charge my credit card but they ran it anyway. Very bad customer service. would not recommend this airline."
Plussat: "The aircraft is nice and I enjoy the extra luggage space many companies require a lot of passengers to check their carry on at the gate and that really annoys me so I appreciate having room for everyone and their belongings."
Miinukset: "There was only one crew member that was customer friendly but she was amazing. The others that were in my area all had a horrible attitude."
Plussat: "The new plane we took from London to Boston was clean, spacious, and modern. The staff was also very attentive and polite. Would absolutely fly Norweigan again!!"

This was a flight of over eight hours and to be offered no water was abominable. Preboarding left you in an enclosed room where you were not able to go outside to purchase food or drinks. There was a vending machine but if you didn't have current currency, you couldn't use it."
Miinukset: "First off. I was late to my flight on the 19th, and Norwegian forced me to purchase an entire new ticket for a flight the next day. I have missed flights before and have never had to pay for another flight. The the next day, when I go to board, I see it is not Norwegian Air at all, it is some airline called Hi Fly that I have never heard of. Norwegian sold this flight to someone else. This airline is not up to my standards. The entertainment selection was very sparse. Besides the 1 1/2 meals provided, there was no food on an 11 hour flight! They ran out of alcohol 3 hours into the flight, which again, I have never seen that happen before."

Plussat: "My husband and I flew from London to Los Angeles on the Dreamliner. Check-in at the airport was quick and easy. Other than a delay of 45 minutes in London to change a tire on the plane, the flight was quite pleasant, The seats were comfortable & in excellent condition with a good amount of leg room. Entertainment was varied and easily accessible on the back of the seat in front."

Miinukset: "Given middle seats for both my Madrid-London and London-JFK legs in Madrid, where checkin was a last-minute rush. Spent 7 hours in London and had no way to request a seat change. Purchased my ticket 6 months in advance and couldn't request seat until day of flight - then not given chance to get an aisle or window seat. Don't think I would use Norwegian again."

Miinukset: "Lack of space in economy. No light show needed."
For once in a long while, our flight was delayed - because the aircraft arrived late - but that was only delayed by about 30 minutes (which was bad). However, the crew boarded us very efficiently and quickly (which was good). But the original delay meant that the aircraft was directed to use a different runway in Gatwick than would normally be used - and that runway had less capacity apparently - so that added further to the delay (which was also bad). Anyway, the bottom line was we arrived in Dublin about 45 minutes later than scheduled. It might have been longer but I think the captain made up a bit of time in the air (which was also good). Having said all that, I would definitely use Ryanair again because this delay was not something that has not happened to us on other Ryanair flights in the recent past. in fact, my wife and I are due to fly with them to Dubrovnik next week so I'll be ineterested to see how they do with the outbound and return flights then.
Fast, good loads in and out, totally worth of price.

We arrived at the airport 3 hours in advance to check in and allow time for navigation. We waited in line for an hour only to know that we were either supposed to check in online or upstairs at the airport. We had 4 minutes to check in when we got to the front desk. Staff was incredibly useless and did not assist whatsoever. We had to logon the airport WiFi and watch the video then missed the checkin by 1 minute. This is absolutely unacceptable. We were then directed to another service department for a 55 pound charge each! Which was the same as our original flight. I did not receive any notification email to check in ahead of time. This was a very stressful time for my traveling partner and I and do not feel obliged to be paying the consequences given the circumstances. I am hoping kayak will honor us as loyal customers and reimburse us for these unforseeabke fees. This would be greatly appreciated. I can provide receipt and documentation if needed. Thanks"

After that 20 minutes they said another 20 minutes. There was no info on the flight and you have no place to wait until they decide to tell you where your gate it. When the gate info finally came up it said to report to the gate immediately and then we were supposed to board. Basically you are forced to stand for 3 hours not knowing anything about the flight."

Priority boarding was announced then all the gate crew left, leaving everyone else sitting there. The plane and flight were fine (if you ignore the sales pitches for perfume, raffle tickets, etc), but I could have done without the stress leading up to it."
Miinukset: "Screwed up airport - if you're just flying through, Dublin is a MAJOR hassle. Had to leave the airport and go through security once again to connect."
Plussat: "Friendly staff."
Miinukset: "Had to pay sign I can't extra for bags. Flight was delayed 2 hours."
Plussat: "There is a large lounge at the gate at Gatwick that the passengers could have been checked into prior to boarding commencing, but this was not used. Instead, A large queue was in place for over 40 minutes and once boarding commenced, as many were checking cabin bags into the hold, boarding took about 30 minutes, delaying the flight by 30 minutes"
Miinukset: "Check in was a hassle. Had to go through the line twice. The machine wouldn't read my electronic boarding pass. I wasn't the only one."

Miinukset: "self service kiosks were not working in airport and we were told it would cost 50 pounds each to print boarding pass. We followed directions to try to print on our own by paying for expensive internet service at the airport but still were unable to view & print boarding passes. After talking to several rather unhelpful reps, someone at the Sky Desk made an exception to allow us "free" boarding passes. This was just after 2 people were charge full price (50L each for passes & full price to check luggage, after they didn't get promised email to check bags online) Cheap fares doesn't make up for frustration"
Plussat: "Horrible assistance and no sympathy for the situation"
Miinukset: "Check in process was extremely slow at the gate. We were delayed over an hour on the tarmac."
Plussat: "I liked getting off the plane."
Miinukset: "Hidden fees after hidden fees... The lady at the check in counter said my bag was fine... At the gate they said it was to big and weighed too much. £50 Extra. I bought an exit row seat because I'm big guy. The seat belt didn't fit so I asked for an extension and the flight attendant got very snippy with me and said she would not give me an extension because of "safety reasons". (This has never been the case on any other airline I have flown.) She then very rudely said because of your rather large size we are going to have to move you to another seat where we can give you an extension. Like I said I know I'm a big guy but you don't have to so loud and rude about it. At least say it with a smile and some kindness... Wow. It was just uncomfortable and not a good feeling. Later when I got to sitting in my new seat, they came through with the convince cart (no free snacks or drinks, you pay for everything.) She nor the other attendent with her asked if we wanted and thing, if we were doing alright, nothing. Thank God it was only a 1.5 hour flight. So glad that experience is over."
Miinukset: "Landing in London and then again in Dublin was very harsh. :/ Also, be prepared to pay extra for every little thing, including having them print your boarding pass."
Plussat: "the flight crew was nice and friendly when they werent trying to sell you something."
Miinukset: "Ryanair is a bunch of criminals that prey on the Americans traveling abroad. Yes its a discount airline but my $18 flight turned into $150 after all the hidden fees were paid for. To charge a passenger 15 pounds each to print a boarding pass is absolutely ridiculous. Everyone else around us could use their phones as a boarding pass except for the traveling Americans who did not have access to a printer while on vacation is criminal. Lesson learned, I will never fly Ryanair again and will tell every American I know not to be blinded by their discount fare."
Miinukset: "Ryanair is so quick to hit you with extra fees...nickel and dimed, then squeezed into a cattle car of an aircraft. My first and last Ryanair flight."
Plussat: "The flight itself was fine. No issues whilst on the plane."
Miinukset: "The website gives option for e-bording passes but the front desk wouldn't allow them. We had to use a printer/pay for internet to get our boarding passes printed. Then they didn't even use the ones we printed off. They printed off their own."
Plussat: "It was easy, tickets were cheap, and it was fast."
Miinukset: "The price for luggage is ridiculous. Bring a tiny carry on if you want to avoid spending 45 on regular sized luggage."
Miinukset: "My luggage cost more than my ticket. Rip-off Next time ill take a different airline"
Plussat: "The price is great. Friendly crew."
Miinukset: "Delayed with no explanation. Chaotic boarding. Super cramped seats."
Miinukset: "Sardine seating. Very poor "breakfast". Constant selling of deals"
Plussat: "Cost of the ticket but then...,"
Miinukset: "We could not print the tickets. Called Ryan they said just print at the airport. We arrived 2 hours before our flight and were told go back to the machine, and print tickets. We were charged 15 euros x 6 tickets. The agent said, "you should have been here 3 hours early to avoid the charge." Probably will not fly with them again. Why wouldn't they mention this when we sat on hold to tell them we could not get the tickets to print??"
Plussat: "The flight itself was fine and the members on board were great"
Miinukset: "Terrible experience getting help, unable to print boarding pass and the lady at the front refused to help us. We got there 2 1/2 hours early and she sent us in circles trying to get our passes that we almost missed our flight because of her refusals to help us print the boarding pass."

Miinukset: "We arrived to our flight 45 minutes before boarding time. Our flight was delayed by 1 hour but they still did not checked in our bags. We had to pay to get another flight the next day and stayed a a hotel nearby. It is really frustrating not being able to board the plane when you are literary watching it."
Plussat: "Quick trip from London to Dublin. Clean, new aircraft. Safe flight from start to finish."
Miinukset: "No complimentary water!"
Plussat: "Ryan air had a convenient flight time from Gatwick to Dublin - that is the ONLY reason I flew with that airline. I was able to get a last minute reservation, but it came at a high price."
Miinukset: "Cramped seats and narrow aisles; no complimentary food or beverage provided. Crew seemed harried. Flight was not on schedule."
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed and no on was told"
Miinukset: "Did not know there was a 45 euro check in fee per person...never was advertised!"
Plussat: "Only thing I liked was the food, and service wasn't too bad"
Miinukset: "Boarding was a nightmare. They warn you that you need to check yourself in online at least 2 hours before or they will charge you. We got there three hours in advance, tried to check in online but the the page always redirected you to their wifi which they want you to pay for. The only other way around this was to use the other wifi but that means we would have to do download their app. In the end, we nearly missed my flight because of all this and so we ended up checking in there and being charged £90 or $135. What a ripoff."
Plussat: "Boarding from both sides of the plane was good"
Miinukset: "Made us wait in line for way too long, No air conditioning on the ground made the plane sweltering."
Plussat: "Cheap flight!"
Miinukset: "Tried to charge us for everything, including 15 pounds for printing a boarding pass. WiFi was only free for an hour at the airport, flight was delayed by two hours, plane lacked AC and was super cramped and hot. Boarding was also a mess."
Miinukset: "The crew said there would not be drinks because of anticipated turbulence for the entire flight. There was NO turbulence."
