By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

We missed all remaining connecting flights and were forced to buy New tickets. Now we have to work with kayak/priceline to get all my money back due to their error. Plussat: "While my family and I were waiting for boarding in chairs in front of the gate, my little child falet down and had very minor cut with one blood sign and drop but first aid group came and made some tissue cleaning to the cut with detergent. They told me that medical report is required by the flight captain and this report will cost me 230 TL. I told them no need for their report but they told me that I may not travel and the male misbehaved againest my wife when she told him that no need for their medical assistant and he replied this is not your country. They sqwezed us at the last minute and my remaining family at the plane and they told me that I am not authorized to travel with my wife and small child. We are total of 9 passingers. We were only remaining at the lounge. I told them my remaining family are at plane and I must travel otherwize I am going to claime all charges againest Turkish airline. Finaly at last minute they let me board."

Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. I had an injury and surgery to my right foot, and as a result was using a walking can for m9bility. One my return flight to UK one cabin crew member decided in their wisdom to place said cane in the overhead bin. I advised her, I didn't like nor think this to be a good idea. Things move when taking off and my fair was if one wasn't aware the cane was there it may fall and injure someone. She insisted, and put the can into the overhead bin, and surprise, one of her fellow cabin members opened this b8n, and down came the cane on a passenger's head. For her injury, they offered her water and proceeded to hand the cane back to me. On flight TK 603 or TK 1983 we were assigned seats in economy row 20 A and b, well my son was seated in 20B, almost sliced his palm on the armrest, because the cover that should have been there wasn't, thus exposing jagged metal. I had to insist that we be moved and they should NEVER allow the cabin be loaded with such dangers visibly exposed. They didn't seem to show much concern, since the flight was full of "blacks"...! On our maiden flight on this airline, we had a 15+ hour layover. Couldn't get assistance from airport staff on simple questions such as where could one rest for the 15 hours, airport staff are busy riding around on automated wheel chairs, and when we asked them to assist an elderly lady who obviously could not walk the distance to her boarding gate in Istanbul, we were met with glares, or look of "they don't know English" or simply being miss directed, whilst my son carried this ladies heavy bag, including his own, and I on my walking stick, until we located the infraction desk, where a true gentleman, by the name of Mahmet came to our rescue, or more importantly took over the matter and assisted this lovely lady who was heading back to new york, to get her water for her medication, a chair to sit on until a wheelchair was brought to her. Honestly, in the many years that I've traveled, I've never seen or encountered a group of unprofessional, disrespectful and just downright prejudiced to visitors to their country! You couldn't pay me enough to visit Turkey or ever fly Turkish Airlines again in my life. So, so disappointed and disgusted by the whole experience it begs the question, how was this airline voted the 2nd best airline in Europe? You must have a very low ranking requirement, or my expectations are just too high for this airline, airport and the people I encountered."

The flight yesterday on 7/14/2011 was canceled. We haven’t received any notifications of the cancellation. My elderly mom had to sit in the excruciatingly hot Domodedovo airport, without any working conditioners with the temperature inside of the airport nearing 30 C, for more than 24 hours. She was afraid to get up to go to the bathroom, because she was afraid she will loose her sit at the airport. After my mom was informed that her flight was canceled, she asked, what she supposed to do now and where she should go, where would she sleep. She was told by Lufthansa representatives that it is non of their business and she can do whatever she wants. No food vouchers, nor hotel accommodations were offered to my elderly mom. My mom had to pay extra money and get another COVID test because the one she had was expiring on 7/14/2021. Nobody even cares that she has been vaccinated here in USA and has her vaccinations voutcher with her. It is horrendous, what is happening right now!!!!!! Not only my mom became a victim of shooting at her Kingsooper’s store in USA, she couldn’t even return back home to USA in a comfortable, human way after the trip that where supposed to take my mom’s mind off of the shooting at her store. Instead it is causing now enormous anxiety and fear. I am praying that tomorrow she will return back home to USA and non of her flights will be canceled again!

Miinukset: "The head flight attendant was very brusque with clients/passengers - demanding we hand back trays in a certain way, demanding people do not get up and stand during a 3 hour flight. At one point she rushed along the aisle to the front of the plain, bumping and hurting my shoulder, but did not bother to apologize. In front of me, was a mother with a child with special needs. The mother had to stand up for some time to have the child curl up and lie in a comfortable position - the attendant rudely commanded her to sit down and strap the child to the seat, instead of finding out how they could help. She could have achieved it with a better attitude and choice of words. The crew did not bother beyond the bare minimum - it was painful to observe."

Lufthansa could just bring me by bus to the departure gates. I believe that police officers with openly carried machine guns INSIDE of TSA secured zone at FRA is too much (though I am not a law enforcement person)."

Miinukset: "I don't understand the boarding process with Lufthansa. Lufthansa does not board by zone but they let everybody board at the same time. The seats in economy class are not wide enough."
Miinukset: "The airline went on strike the day I was supposed to fly, so at 4:30 in the morning I arrived to the airport and learned that my flight got cancelled. The evening before there were no info about cancellation on internet. But a representative re-booked my trip on the same day with 2 different companies from the other airport and provided a free taxi. So I arrived to my final destination only 3h late. So my ratings will go only to "overall" as OK. On the other flights with Lufthansa the "Entertainment" and "Food" are usually Excellent"
Miinukset: "Delay in boarding, delay in removing snow/ice, my seat was changed without notifying me (after i checked in on line the day before)"
Miinukset: "I had a short transit time in Munich (40 minutes). Munich website promises that this is possible and that gates are close to each other and if the first flight is late, then someone will help you to your next flight. My first flight was about 10 mins late. Although assistance was provided to people connecting to some of the other flights, no-one helped me with my connection. I asked two ground staff and was just told to make my own way to the next gate, which was not close. It was in a different terminal! After literally running through two terminals, I did not make it to the gate in time and had to wait for the following flight which got me home over three hours late. Lufthansa did give me a five euro meal voucher though (which doesn't buy very much in an airport cafe)."
Miinukset: "It was a problem with one passenger, she came from another row and take two seats close to me and my daughter, she wanted to fly with comfort, so I told her it is not nice, this is not her seats and I have a kid with me and she should share wirh another people too, butshe was freeked out because I did a comment, than she asked me what country I'm from and I told: Russia. So she told me she could see why I so unclever...all Russian the same and laughing on me. I didn't expect so racist behavior and I stopped any conversation and complained to flight attendant. And I was double surprise! She went to her talked with her and than tell me that she could take any place she wants and she never told me any racist words, and maybe I'm a lier. I was so upset and I told a passenger that I can go to court when get back to US, she was really scared now and start sorry! But it was to late to sorry! When I asked flight attendant to sorry, she told she do not sorry!!! The flight was Monday October 3rd 2016 Lufthansa 459 San Francisco -Munich, name of flight attendant Eva-Katherine Pfaffel, the passenger seat 44 Diana or E I think, they didn't provide me information about name or her seat. The flight attendant told me it is not big dealing, maybe for Germany it is ok, but in US it is really rude, original I'm from Russia, my daughter too, additionally she is black, it will be really good if I never feel this again, I was in really helpless situation. It is really unpleasant when you spend money and get neglect."

Plussat: "Crew was great and the plane was clean."
Plussat: "Dinner was good fairly interesting and wholesome. I appreciated having real silverware, albeit only 3/4 of normal size. But for an 8:35 flight, most people would have already eaten. In contrast, 'breakfast' was a muffin, small cup of sliced fruit, and a granola bar. For a flight leaving at 8:30 pm and arriving at 10 AM, I would think breakfast, not dinner, would get the emphasis. Did get some free wine with dinner."
Miinukset: "$35 bucks per flight leg to reserve your seat seems rude and harsh. THey don't tell you til AFTER you book the flight that seat selection is extra - spendy extra... Rude."
Plussat: "Crew was very good on all flights. Packages, containing playing cards and some other items that were given to children during flights, were a nice touch. My husband changed his seat to accommodate a lady who was flying with her daughter, and was acknowledged by the crew and was offered a few extra snacks. Nice touch."
Miinukset: "Food on this destination was the best of other flight legs."

Miinukset: "When I booked the tickets , anywhere it was writen that it will cost a lot for the luggages. I payed 53 euros each ticket and 40 euros for each luggage for a flight of 1 hour! It is the very first time that I pay this price! I am not happy! Kayak should advise clearly the clients for these conditions!!! And they accept no visa or bank card. All in cash!!!"

Plussat: "It was great to check in and save the boarding pass in my wallet. Made it easy to check in while traveling and having no access to a printer. The flight was conformable and we got food."
Miinukset: "The agent at check in refused to even consider a business class upgrade, said I had to do that 48 hours in advance. Seems like a stupid policy to me, unless she was just flat out lying to me."
Miinukset: "Connection flight was not accessible because of the arrival delay. Airline staff did not help at all."
Plussat: "flight and flight crew were very nice"
Miinukset: "check-in process - they would not start check in until one hour before flight and then there was only one agent for boarding passes and one for checking luggage if you already had a boarding pass"
Miinukset: "They locked the bathrooms whenever the staff were passing around drinks, food, or collecting garbage. They claimed it was due to "safety" but every staff was easily walking around passing around drinks. There was no turbulence. Even when multiple people tried to get up to go to the restroom, they sent them away. Finally, when they unlocked the bathrooms after a good 30 mins, there were HUGE lines. They did this multiple times. It doesn't make sense to lock the bathrooms that long. People need to use the restroom and then they create larger lines which is more dangerous because even more people are standing up at the same time. Doesn't make sense. Will probably not use this airline again if this occurs again."
Plussat: "For a short flight we had a good lunch and good customer service. Seats were comfortable with reasonable legroom."

El desayuno fue excelente...SPINACH PIE, YOGURT, JUICE..DRINKS..a comparación con el vuelo en otra aerolínea de una amiga...sólo crackers and drink.. GRACIAS AEGEANS AIRLINES. .!!"

Miinukset: "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

Miinukset: "This flight was delayed by an awful 8 hours. We were stuck at the airport through the entire morning and missed half our day in Santorini. There was very poor communication between the airline and us so we were utterly frustrated at the experience."
Miinukset: "I was surprised (like many other) that the ticket did not include any baggage. The cost for the baggage at the counter was more than double of the cost on the web site."
Miinukset: "Out of the control of Aegean the airport in Athens needs a lot more structure and organization. At times I thought I was to miss my flight because the amount of people."
Miinukset: "I was shocked to find that we had to pay 60 euros a bag at check in. This was almost as much as the ticket and higher than any baggage fees we have paid on other airlines for much longer flights. it is a terrible way to finance an airline and be assured that we will not fly Aegean if there is any possible way to avoid it."

Plussat: "A staff member took us to our connection flight and she made us run for 30 minute. It was terrible. I am 55 and i could not breath and my body hurt and i am at bed con not move. My trip is destroyed. I am very very angry. It is impossible what she did. She didn't care at all that there were people that stop running and lost their flight. She didn't walk fast, she run hard. It was crazy, there people who cried. People who fall down. Absolute the worst thing that I have to go through"
Even though the flight got delayed for 10’ we made it on time
Plussat: "The crew. The punctuality."
Miinukset: "Food should be much better than this. Otherwise everything is ok."
Miinukset: "Flights were late for more than 20 min. in both directions. Almost missed connecting flights in both directions. Had to pay for the luggage at the airport (luggage was not included in my ticket). Flight to my final destination was cancelled (first it was delayed, but I did not know that untill I got to the gate) I was diverted to other country (by other company), had to pay for hotel and taxi, missed almost two days of my vacation. On my flight back home, they have lost my luggage... hope they will find it. Now I am trying to get refund for cancelled flight, hotel, taxi, food... I will never fly with this company by my own choice any more!!!"
Plussat: "The crew was super attentive but also knew when to leave people alone and rest with the lights out. The entertainment selection and food were above average."
Miinukset: "The seat I was in (37 H) was awful, if felt much more cramped than the flight to Macedonia. I felt like I was crammed into a sardine can. The boarding process in Vienna was a joke; the economy seats were all boarded at once; in effect a mass of humanity all rushing toward the gate."
Miinukset: "Team desn’t have much Client focus, seems to have more experience with cargo shipments"

Plussat: "The Austrian Airlines crew was great, very courteous, very professional and friendly. The food service was also excellent."
Miinukset: "My complaints go to something not directly linked to the flight crew. 1. When boarding, I like to see when passengers are called in groups relating to distant seats in the plane such that they do not step over each other during luggage placement. That is more comfortable than let the crowd enter randomly. 2. I notice people enter the cabin with 2, even 3 pieces of luggage. Even though each one has proper dimensions, they overload the overhead compartments and it is hard for everybody to place his/her belongings in a suitable way. 3. The rows in the airplane seems to have gotten closer ti each other. It is not the airlines fault, except perhaps when choosing whose airplanes to buy...but again, there are only two major contenders in that segment. For overseas flights, it is pretty uncomfy. 4. Lastly, unboarding the plane could also be performed (enforced by the crew) to be in a more civil fashion rather than haveing5 a stampedo - again calling separate grouos of rows in the name of fairness, or simply vacating it row by row from the front to back."

Plussat: "Landing was a disaster"
Miinukset: "The plane was HUGE, too big. With such a big plane the crowd formed by the gate waiting to board was unmanageable. Also the giant plane felt like it was hard to maneuver during take off and landing. I would very much prefer a smaller plane. The touch screen in front of me was not always responding when I tried to tap the screen. The audio jack was also not working great; sometimes I did not have audio in my right earbud and I had to turn and fidget the plug. The earbuds provided by the airline did not even work when plugged into the screen, I had to use my own earbuds."
Plussat: "Food, entertainment options, business class seats that lay flat"
Miinukset: "Rang twice for attendants when I dropped my phone behind the seat. Instructed at beginning of flight to not attempt to retrieve an item behind the seat and to have an attendant helped. No one responded to me, so I got it myself. Wasn’t a big deal, but I don’t appreciate being soundly ignored"

Miinukset: "Always an issue getting in/out of planes at Frankfurt. It takes a long, crowded bus ride to the terminal."

Plussat: "Had 45 Min to connect at vienna airport and our first flight was delayed so we had to run to get in time to the gate. Literally the gate was on the opposite side of the airport. Bad logistics"
Miinukset: "As a gluten free person dinner delicious but after 5-6 next hours for breakfast I got few small slices of melon... like really?? This will not feed anyone! For next time I know that I have to bring my own food.. so bad! While servis time we ordered whisky with cola and after one hour we went to ask for one more cause we wanted and CA told us they dont serve anymore whisky only wine or beer. Besides this things when I came to plane my sit and table tray was dirty so we had to put blanket over... for the first time I write bad feedback but I have to cause it was terrible.."

Miinukset: "austrian and lufthansa have the worst seats in the industry. good for seating for about 30 minutes ONLY. so tough that make the trip feel even longer. a charger is needed in economy (at least one every two seats). wifi has not made it to this long haul flight yet."
Miinukset: "Firstly . The crew were rude ! They did not even response when were calling them from the seat . The only way to talk to them is to find them at the end of the plane ( where they been chating with each other ) Secondly . The amount of snacks was limited where’s in Turkish airlines it’s unlimited and you can choose different sandwiches whereas in Austrian airilines can offer biscuits and Cookies ;( Thirdly . We are living in 21 century and most transatlantic airlines have WiFi ! Where’s Austrian did not have it!"
Plussat: "More legroom than some orher carriers even in regular economy seat, better quality of food, and faster service"

Miinukset: "Although AU blamed late arrival of the plane from Russia, fact is that the plane was at least one hour at the dock before boarding and the AU team was just extremely slow to get boarding done. We were all invited 45 minutes before boarding to board, when apologies were already offered for the slight delay, which turned into 1.5 hour overall. Worst is the lack of communication during the 45 minute wait, for which I have little understanding seeing many older people clearly suffering."
Plussat: "Unfortunately no good experience comes to my mind..... Only one! At boarding there was a Jewish girl, she was very nice and kind! I wish I could list here more positive!!!"
Miinukset: "Unfortunately the food was poor quality. You should pay attention to people who eat kosher and have an option available. Eventho I have marked it on my ticket I need kosher food it wasn't available. It is upsetting. It would be a must at every company, regardless of the service to have name tags for the employees!!! Mostly the flight attendants were kind, but as soon as i asked for something it seemed like they don't want to help or work at all. I understand I have traveled on the economy class but shouldn't make a difference how you treat the travelers. The pillows were dirty!!!!! Not only one, because I have asked for more......most of them! It is disgusting! Something must have been wrong with the headphones because the volume was on max when i tried to watch the move but barely could hear anything. I have flew with Lufthansa most of the time and in the future will chose them. Very disappointing that sooo many little things are interrupting a vacation."
Plussat: "The staff from service center helped me to solve problem with my flight, it was short connection, around 35 minutes, and I missed my aircraft, but in the service center gave me ticket to the next flight, The problem was solved."
Miinukset: "Boarding in the first flight was late for 15 minutes, but may be it has some objective reasons."

Miinukset: "Boarding on return flight was utter chaos and was not controlled properly. The crew was very pleasant and , in my opinion, could not have been any bertter."
Plussat: "The crew worked so hard and were always ready to do more for any problem that arose, be it, mothers with babies, the elderly and infirm, the less than gracious occasional passenger, or younger children. The entertaining things on the individual screens also helped make the long periods of sitting more manageable for young and old."
Miinukset: "I didn't like how the passengers in general, left the cabin of the plane in such a mess! The crew came through several times for refuse, so I couldn't understand. Leaving pillows and blankets should be the only thing to clear out. Maybe a note on the TV screen could say, "a tidy plane helps flights be on time :-)""
Miinukset: "They should update the planes with individual screens so you can watch whatever movie you want instead of the tiny screens many aisle in front. The flight also ran out of meat options and we had to have ravioli. Also not much leg room like other flights."
