Miinukset: "I asked when i got my ticket for a window seat and he said he gave me one but he did not in the two flights I got. I requested the crew for a window seat if possible since I had been feelin nauseated, it did not help that the guy sitting next to me had a really bad breat and smelled bad. They offered me a sit in the middle of the plane, that did not work well because I was feeling sick, being in between a big guy and a bigger lady was not going to help at all. There was an older crew member and she seemed to be kinda discussed with the trash even though she was using gloves. Food was ok but not the best. To top it off I told them that the headphones connection wasn’t working and they only brought me a pair of new headphones. I tried mine and they didn’t worked, so the whole 8 hrs of flight I was watching movies with sound only from on side. They didn’t even bother, I guess cuz I am economy? Not sure I did see some free chairs in the lanes between economy and first class but they didn’t even suggested that so I decided to suck it up and sit on my assigned chair. The bathrooms where dirty and smelled reaaally bad from the beginning that really was disgusting to be honest. I can let go many things but not that. I had to help the passenger sitting next to me cuz he didn’t know how to do anything and didn’t speak English, he was an older man, with signs I was able to show him how an airplane works. I never complain about flights but this one was tooo many little things. Oh and what about an international flight where I have to pay for a second bag! Really? I did it on my way to Europe and I thought I payed both and then I had to do it again. Whatever money I thought I could save was a lie because I ended up paying a lot more adding the bags and additional transportation for home based on the airports. I am not satisfied at all with the flight experience"

(Flight only 6:15min) In addition, when front passenger moved his seat back on me I had a lot of difficulties with getting in and out of my seaat."
Plussat: "It was an 8.5 hour flight and we got fed 2 meals, 2 snacks and had lots of beverage breaks! We were delayed a little but it was due to an issue in France, not anything to do with the airplane, and the captain found a solution faster than he had originally said he would (with the help of the tower of course)."

Miinukset: "On the flight to Zurich the passenger behind me gave me a difficult time about reclining my seat back but keep in mind he had his reclined. Coming back to Newark the gentleman behind my boyfriend made a comment how he didn't have room due to his seat being reclined. The passenger next to us was arguing with the passenger in front of her because she didn't want that person to recline their seat back. I have never experienced such rude people on a flight and I realize this is beyond your control. It made for a very uncomfortable and stressful flight. Maybe signs can be posted or a message when booking your flight that ALL passengers have a right to recline seats and if space is an issue for your comfort then upgrade to business class for more room."
Plussat: "Good entertainment variety. Food was good, including snacks. Generous with drinks as well. Crew was polite and friendly."
Miinukset: "Letting us know about the delay prior to boarding could have allowed us to use our time better. Instead we sat at the gate and in the plane. Seats (economy) a bit closer to each other relative to other planes and the armrest does not fully go up which does not allow us to use space as much as possible."

I am flying with swiss every month between Zürich and New York but a lot of Ines I get a shitty seat even if I am silver status As a frequent flyer I expect a priority handling which is not the case . No upgrade poaaibility due to wrong booking class (even if flights are very expensive) if this continues to go that way I will change airline alliance This is more a miles and more issue but it is really annoying me in a way that I really consider changin"

Miinukset: "The earphones are bad and connector is 2 pins, so couldn't use mine."
Miinukset: "Sound for on-screen entertainment not working. It was static-y all the time and completely cut out the rest of the time. I made various attempts to solve the problem, switching headphones, switching to my own headphones (which can't really be done because they have a two-prong jack and personal headphones are always one). I tried watching different movies, programs, music...it wasn't the material I was watching that was the problem. I asked the flight attendant to reset my console. That didn't work either. I just ended up reading my book the entire 9 hour trip."

Plussat: "This direct flight from Zurich-Newark is pretty comfortable, especially if you get the two seats at the either sides of the plane (it's a 2x4x2 config in Coach). The food is really good, they are generous with drinks and the crew is really friendly and smiling! Would take this flight again without any reservations in future!"
Plussat: "I was supposed to visit my father who was just put in a nursing home for a few days and the day of my flight I received an email from Swiss that they had rebooked me for the next day! So frustrating! The trip would have gotten so short that it wasn't worth it so I had to reschedule it 6 weeks out. It got my dad really upset! Thank god his health is stable at the moment."

Plussat: "The food was delivered fast. The meals were delicious, especially the chicken and polenta. I also appreciated the ice cream and I enjoyed the selection of movies and television. I also appreciated the map and trip information display."

Plussat: "The flight attendants were stellar--polite, respectful, helpful, attentive. I want to particularly commend the attendant who, after I notified her that someone was very ill in the adjacent bathroom, stood discreetly nearby and offered the person a glass of water when he emerged. Very considerate."
Miinukset: "The transfer was a horrible, stressful experience. We knew it as a short connection but Lufthansa had accepted it. On our outward bound flight three weeks earlier, we were all met and escorted swiftly by a flight attendant from the first leg plane (EWR-MUN) to the second leg plane (MUN-Nice) to ensure that we all made it onboard. Impressive. On our return journey, no such luck! No attendant to meet us, and a huge line at immigration, full of panicked and stressed-out passengers jockeying for position, with no-one from ANY airline there to do a triage for those with the shortest connections. Ridiculous. In addition, the passport-scanning machines were very slow and quirky. My own passport was rejected because there was no evidence I had passed through Munich on my outward bound journey!! RIDICULOUS. I managed to slip through to a human being and begged the immigration officer to let me go through with my husband, who had had no such problem. The officer told me he could not find a stamp from my earlier transit through!!! Eventually I suppose he did because he let me through. The stamp was there, I found it, but it had been sloppily applied and was half off the page...hence the rejection by the scanner. We made the flight by minutes. NOT GOOD! Surely Lufthansa could do better in their own country???"

Miinukset: "The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)"

There was no accommodation given to my cousin so I have to take him back home with me and then drive 2 hours tomorrow morning to bring him back for his new flight. •The charger ports for our seats were not working, which means we were 8 hours + without a phone. •One female flight attendant had a bad attitude and dropped pretzels in my lap after I turned to quickly ask my cousin a question regarding what drink he wanted. •The plane landing was one of the most reckless I’d ever witnessed."

We had to be re-routed via 3 separate flights jus to make our international connection thanks to our initial flight being moved up 2 hours EARLY. They closed the door in our faces. That added 8 hours of travel time to our trip which I had booked to minimize travel time as I was traveling with pets. United is the WORST."

Miinukset: "The descent was very uneven, with long sudden drops in altitude. The touchdown was hard enough, but much worse was the apparent loss of control immediately afterward as the plane swerved left and right for 5-10 sec. No acknowledgement or explanation was given by the crew."

Plussat: "In terms of things I liked flying with UA998 from Brussels to EWR: The boarding staff at Brussels airport was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Boarding procedure was smooth even with the extra security screening at the gate."
Miinukset: "It was quickly clear to me that the passengers where simply an inconvenience to some of the crew on UA998. As an example I fell asleep during take off and woke up in the middle of the meal service. The cart was only a couple of rows behind me in the half-ful Economy Plus section so I got up and tried to get the attention of the staff. The lady turned around and confirmed that "I had woken up" with a sigh, as is not only was it inconvenient to her that I was a sleep, now I had the nerves to actually ask for a meal. She presented me with the options of pasta and chicken and I politely asked what they where served with. She straight out said that "she really did not know that" and asked me to make a choice. I wont get into any other examples, the machine was half full at best and there was no stress, so frustrating to be treated like you are an inconvenience to the USA based staff who clearly just wanted to be left alone. The entertainment system barely worked, the touch monitor was very hard to operate - the pressure sensitive functionality was not working properly but I managed to get to my movie and avoid the Chinese subtitles in the third try. I fly United because it's part of Star Alliance, but otherwise I would try and avoid at all cost."
Miinukset: "Whole experience with them was a nightmare and is still ongoing. They won't help me so I had to turn to Amex to settle everything and get my money back. Unbelievable. The airport had to close due to an emergency, that's out of Lufthansa's hands I obviously understand that. However, the way we were "helped" through all of this was unbelievable- over two and a half hours of phone calls with them, while in Europe (so paying God knows what per minute), 4 hours to get my luggage back so we could leave, absolutely no one from Lufthansa around to help or even tell us what's going on, put us on a flight the following day with two layovers now (paid more for only one layover but what can I do). Next day, at Alitalia gate (Lufthansa put me on an itinerary with flights from Alitalia, Lufthansa and United) had to pay AGAIN to check the bag that I had just paid to check the previous day where we did not end up flying anywhere (showed Alitalia the receipt, they didn't care in the slightest and said its Lufthansas problem, 0 stars for them as well), either way finally got through our 2 layovers, only to discover the final leg of our trip (United/ Lufthansa flight) is delayed 3 hours. Just about to board, now it's delayed another 5 hours. Because we were short a pilot...... Short a pilot, really....? Ended up getting home at 2am on a work night, completely jet lagged and utterly exhausted from being in an airport for 2 straight days. Supposed to get compensation as per United flight crew, only I put my ticket information in the website and it doesn't work for me of course because I have a Lufthansa ticket. No one cares, no one helps, now it's time for Amex to step in and get all of my money back."

Miinukset: "My first flight with Austrain Airlines was 2 hours late in leaving, partly because they mixed our baggage up and had to have each of us leave the airplane to identify our baggage before getting back on again. Because of this, I missed my connecting flight in Zurich. Apparently hundreds of other passengers were in a similar situation, because I spent the next 6.5 hours standing in line to getting my new itinerary and hotel vouchers."

Miinukset: "We were boarded and then told we had to sit on the plane for 45 minutes before take off. It's possible this way beyond the crew's control, but still would've been better to wait in the airport. Also, the movie selection was smallish compared to some other airlines."
Plussat: "The staff from service center helped me to solve problem with my flight, it was short connection, around 35 minutes, and I missed my aircraft, but in the service center gave me ticket to the next flight, The problem was solved."
Miinukset: "Boarding in the first flight was late for 15 minutes, but may be it has some objective reasons."
Plussat: "When you travel with an infant it's already a difficult trip but it's really fraustrating when you find out that they didn't assign you to the seats with the baby bassanet, and when I went to the counter to fix the problem instead they change our window seats to an isle seats without even asking or notifying us with the changes, and they when I asked how come you don't automatically assign infant reservations to infant seats their excuse was what if there were more infants than available infant seats and they already gave out those seats with extended leg space to others who already had paid for it, and surprisingly there were multiple of infants on board none of them in those seats but rather the other passengers who paid for it, so basically they got paid extra and you will only suffer for almost 10 hrs so they can make extra profit. NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"

Miinukset: "Austrian Air has really slipped in its food-product.. Lufthansa put out snacks (cookies etc; even small sandwiches to 'help yourself from' going from Atlanta to Frankfort which was nice). But not the case with Austrian The serving of it was fine. Restroom options are less than adequate too."
Miinukset: "Too many customers use more than their fair share of the overhead space. A lot of passengers placed their luggage and their personal item above. This left those of use who use only our fair alottment searching for a place for what we fairly should be allowed to use."

I am 6' and 190lbs, knees were basically wedged against the seat in front of me. My girlfriend is 5'9" and she was even complaining about space. Entertainment - really limited movie selection."

Miinukset: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."

Plussat: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Miinukset: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."
Plussat: "The employee at the checkin counter in Oslo set everything up for us regarding our wheelchair and walker. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She arranged for a pick up in Helsinki with the airport's crew. They helped us unload the plane and then had a personal accessible bus to take us from where we landed (outside of terminal) to the gate of our next departure. The crew were all extremely professional and efficient."
Miinukset: "The leg room is never enough on the long flights. The flight from Chicago to Helsinki at 10:00pm was not nearly as good as the flights from Oslo to Helsinki to Chicago. The crew was not as pleasant, the lights were not turned off until after 1:00 am and then turned on hours before the light "breakfast" was served."
