Miinukset: "Plane was late leaving Helsinki due to broken latch, which made us late getting into Chicago. After landing we waited at least 45 minutes to get to a gate. It took at least 30 minutes to get off the plane and then getting through customs was a nightmare. Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."

The food was super bland and the drink options were pretty limited. The entertainment selection was much more limited than most flights."

The staff was very responsive and helpful in answering my questions and concerns. 3. Finnair employees are a totally professional group of people and friendly, too. all the flights were smooth. I've flown a lot and for me Finnsir is always the best choice to Moscow."

Miinukset: "The seats are very small--and I am a small woman--so the flight felt cramped. The food was just ordinary airline food--little taste. Coffee served essentially black--no offer of milk or cream. Take it or leave it-- Crew helpful if you could flag someone down. Most irritating: could not check in online for some unexplained reason and required to arrive two hours early. BA does no subscribe to TSA so spent time in a line unnecessarily. AND, then the crew arrived over an hour late so the flight left at least an hour late. The crew explained that their downtown bus did not arrive and they could not arrange one. Given the close proximity to the airport, this should have been a 10 minute cab ride."

The diagram I had looked at before picking a seat made it look like that would not be a problem but when others are laying flat there is no other choice but to climb over hoping not to fall over them or wake them up"

Miinukset: "At Heathrow, the boarding agents kept calling few passengers without letting the rest of the passengers know what was going on. Also the boarding was delayed without giving specific reason almost 50 min later. Finallly they said the boarding was delayed to catering and cleanning, which I could not believe since the plane has been on a tarmac close to an hour. Passengers were lining up to board, but one of the gate agent kept asking to sit down without giving any reason. Probable one of the worst boarding experience I have ever had in international flights."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed 4hrs after a 5hr layover. Passengers where shifted from a warm departure area to a very cold area to wait for transportation to the plane. Overall confusion of the staff. The pane, a 747 seemed to be an earlier model plane that needed to be updated."

Miinukset: "No free beverages between Milan and London! This is the very first time I have not given free water!"

Plussat: "As a member of our party has a nervous disposition flying, the stewardesses were extremely understanding and helpful throughout the entire flight."
Plussat: "British Airways rescheduled our flights. The BA website was easy to find out how to claim additional costs incurred from the rescheduled flight."
Miinukset: "The flight was rescheduled within 18 hours of departure. We were in Spain on vacation which meant attempting to figure out how to get home with Iberia at the Madrid airport, who helped but was super agitated with us the entire time. When we asked for advice on how to proceed, as this has never happened to us before, they just kept telling us it was British Airways fault and that they had no answers for us. This took about two hours plus an additional hour back at the hotel to cancel our reservations in London and figure out how we were going to get reimbursed for the extra night at the hotel and additional costs. It would've been nice to get all of this information in an email, with the new ticket and instructions on how to claim the extra costs instead of us running around and taking time out of our vacation."
Miinukset: "The BA crew at the check in needs improvement. BA has different standards from other carriers that make it confusing. Bag sizes for on board carry on luggage accepted by other carriers are not accepted by BA. So you can fly in with one carrier and then BA says that the bag cannot go on the flight. In a different flight our flight was cancelled and rescheduled to the next day. I have been trying to find out how to get compensated for this as it says on their website and have not been able to do that yet."

Miinukset: "Leg room/space BA offers is calculated for short and small body frame passengers and it is on not acceptable. It feels like cattle Wagon. BA should show consideration for real passengers not some sort of statistical average. I am 6'4" and sitting in your plane's cabin inflicts hours of body pain. The space given is sufficient for children and teenagers. Also sitting in the hot cabin for extended amount of time is extremely uncomfortable. Why there is no cooling and proper air ventilation right from the beginning?"
Plussat: "The staff helpful and quick to respond."
Miinukset: "The incredibly uncomfortable, too narrow, too cramped seats with immovable armrests. Awful!!!"
Plussat: "Basically nothing about this flight was good."
Miinukset: "We arrived almost 3 hours early for our flight, and STILL ended up running to our gate to make it because we waited over an hour and a half in the bag drop line. There were only about 10 people in front of us in this line, but the guy working the counter had no urgency and would frequently stop to make jokes and chat with his coworkers beside him. There was another woman in tears because she was about to miss her flight. Then, once we waited in another insanely long, slow line to board, our flight was delayed over an hour with us sitting on the plane, which caused about half the plane to miss their connecting flights (including us) in London. This then caused us to miss our final connection in the states, which happened to be a standby flight. When trying to rebook a flight to the states from London, we explained how difficult it would be to get another flight out of our original airport in the states since it was now the weekend. The customer service rep informed us that as long as British Airways 'fulfilled their contract' to get us back to the one destination, it wasn't their issue how we got another flight back home."
Miinukset: "We are really upset that Aer Lingus and/or Bitish Airways lost our baggeage! All our clothes, toiletries, medicine, and other personal belongings are MIA and we want these two airlines to work together and expedite finding and tertuning our luggage."
Plussat: "I realize that you always have to pay for food on short haul flights these days but, considering that, I was pleased with the M&S food offerings. There was enough variety to please our young children, vegetarian and omnivores and the prices were reasonable for airline prices. It came in very handy as it was definitely lunch time."
Miinukset: "I was surprised to have to pay to reserve a seat on a BA flight beforehand. That's getting to close to Ryanair. Also, the boarding gate at Venice Marco Polo was awful, super overcrowded and confusing. We actually had two different flight lines getting merged. Expect better from BA facilities."
Plussat: "Inflight entertainment with access to recent movies. Service was good."
Miinukset: "Fee for assigned seating. No outlets for charging electronic devices."
Miinukset: "late on two occasions first one 20 mins second and the n an hour. Not told why. Then boarding passes had to be reissued with different seats ..whole thing a shambles"
Plussat: "Food was tasty"
Miinukset: "I was not able to select my seat until 24 hours before the flight without paying, which I think is ridiculous. Once I checked in 24 hours before, I was still not able to select my seat. The problem was related to me booking through a partner airline. The partner (American Airlines) couldn't help me because they couldn't access the BA seats. And BA couldn't help me on the phone to select my seat for some other reason (I can't remember). I had to wait until I got to JFK a few hours before the flight, by which time all the seats were filled and I was stuck in a middle seat. Basically, I think there needs to be better communication or coordination between BA and their partner airlines to help customers before the flight, and also it is absurd to charge $35 to choose their seat."
Plussat: "Fabulous experience on every level"
Plussat: "Everything worked pretty well, and BA's staff was very correct. Seats are quite good, and flight wasn't full, which I greatly appreciated."
Miinukset: "It bothers me to have to pay for a glass of water. Still does not make any sense to me."
Miinukset: "Heathrow connection process almost caused me to miss my flight, despite having 2 hours between connections. Security officer at Heathrow was very unprofessional, and took a great pleasure in delaying my processing through the security line. Specifically, I did not remove a PHONE BATTERY CHARGER from my carry-on for screening, so he proceeded to dump out the whole backpack contents, and then purposefully was very slow about putting things back in one by one.As an active duty police officer I understand the need for security and follow all the regulations and instructions to the best of my abilities. However in this case the security officer went out of his way to make the process as slow as he could. Very bad, stressful experience traveling on BA with connection at Heathrow."
Plussat: "I was travelling alone with a baby and a toddler and found most of the staff very helpful - stowing my bags, helping to carry my buggy, helping with seat belts etc."
Miinukset: "A member of staff at the gate referred to my 2 year old daughter as "a difficult child" to another member of staff because she didn't like having her photo taken. I felt it was very rude and unfair, particularly as I had to lift her to an awkward height (whilst also holding a baby) as the camera was in a fixed position. It was clear the staff member didn't have children herself!"
Plussat: "The crew were excellent -- some of the best. Power and USB connection."
Miinukset: "How can you have travelers stuck in an airplane for so many hours and not have wifi?"

Miinukset: "The food was truly abysmal. No real breakfast either. The entertainment was in old, hard to see screens so not worth using."
Miinukset: "The air in the airplane was very cold and no blankets were provided. The aircraft seemed very old. Small movie screens on the ceiling, too far away to watch movie."
Plussat: "Excellent service by crew. Attention to meeting everyone's needs. Was impressed with their discreet yet efficient assistance to an individual who became ill on board. Was really impressed by this."
Miinukset: "Drink choices , including champagne, were great. Food however, while improved since our last experience, was mediocre ."

Miinukset: "I won't be using either British Airways or K yak again due to their Bait and Switch misrepresentation. They moved my reservation to Air fare. c.. I specifically chose a British Airways flight due to good previous experiences, and I paid more for the ticket. After completing the purchase I then find out that they are putting me on American Airlines rather that BA. This was unacceptable to me, due to AA poor reputation. They wanted $950 to cancel the flight. An expensive lesson. Shop elseware!"
