Miinukset: "Check in crew in Lahore ganged up against me and wanted to extort £200 for taking me laptop on board along with my hand carry. No where in the world has an airline ever asked me for this, and I fly a fair bit. Since I didn't allow them to extort me, they forced me to throw away my brand new Delsey hand carry at the airport. I had no cover as they threatened to if load my luggage and not let me fly home. Not a 5 start airline from any angle. Will never use Qatar again!!! This was my first and last flight with them."

My bag arrived 5 days late. I had to buy clothes on a daily basis which ate up more time and fun money. The airline gave me nothing except empty promises and dismissive apologies."

Half of the way we all went to a bathroom and I don't blame him but the bathroom must be to small to clean up himself for I have to sit with feces smell for the rest of the flight. Imagine that. This is my second leg of this long flight from BKK to NYC. The first leg to dubai is horrible enough but this one top that by far!!!!"

Miinukset: "They missed me for breakfast despite my being awake and trying to get their attention. Then they ran out of one of the choices for both dinner and breakfast. This despite the plane being less than capacity. Also there were so many empty seats in the back but I noticed that some people were still being packed in like the flight was full. Emirates should do a better job of assigning seats to make as many people comfortable as possible."

The plane was full of children, including preverbal kids, who have no choice other than to cry when they are confused or unhappy. But hey, that's what noise-cancelling headphones are for! It took over 2 hours to get through checked baggage and customs in the middle of the night because after we had already filled out all information regarding piece of luggage with one baggage counter employee. Japanese Customs refused to let us through due to "unaccompanied baggage" since the piece was lost by the airline and had us go back to another baggage employee who couldn't grasp that we already went through the process and had no clue what to do."

Miinukset: "Transferring from an international flight to a domestic flight was difficult. This flight was a joint flight between Turkish airlines and China Southern, there should have been someone from China Southern to help us transfer when we landed. I asked the crew at the plane whether someone will help us transfer and they said yes, but there was none. At the very least, how to transfer to domestic flights has to be part of the customs video. Finding where to go was difficult for someone that does not know Chinese."

Miinukset: "My mother is terminal, as in, she's DYING. So she was having a momentous flare up and we were running a little late. NOWHERE we were told we had to be at check in prior to an hour before the flight. Made it there 6 minutes after that "hour" check mark and were unable to make the flight. Tried to rebook and was told to pay the $800 per ticket that we already paid. Who has that kind of money? Guess I'll see if she can settle for sea world or the damn beach instead of Egypt like she wanted to. Thanks for nothing. For absolutely nothing."

Miinukset: "Cabin crew in business class were not especially friendly and was really lazy during the welcome drink service. They did not even ask each passenger and greeted them to see if they want anything. Instead, they just held the tray of welcome drink and walked around the cabin once, then poured all the unconsumed welcome drinks into the bathroom. Service after take off was abysmal as well. No smile, no addressing passenger by name, all the service was done in a rush and a totally weird manner. The food is not very much to my liking since it heavily consisted of cheese, and there is literally no choice for you to get away with that. Having a traditional Turkish menu is great at one hand, but in this case it was a huge no-no."

Miinukset: "Expedia has doubled charged me for this flight and do not reimburse. You can't issue two seats for only one person. It's a scam."

Plussat: "The comfort of the seats, entertainment, & food were great as always. The only Turkish Airlines flight I had during this trip that was not delayed, however needed to be due to the previous flight. The crew did hold the flight for all of us from the delayed flight from Athens."
Miinukset: "An elderly woman was booked in a window seat and she insisted she take my aisle seat without any additional available aisle seats. However, this would be better handled when she requested for assistance during her booking process. The crew should've anticipate her needs and booked an aisle seat, or even be the ones to ask me or another passenger if I would be willing to trade. I was placed on the spot and no courtesy was shown to me. My legs were completely swollen and in pain because I wasn't able to stand periodically. I too booked my flight early and requested my seats appropriately for my health needs."

Miinukset: "The flight left early, without me. Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Miinukset: "We passed through 5 layers of security and still had a security threat on the airplane. After re-searching everyones bags and seats we finally departed 2.5 hours late. If there is a threat take everyone OFF the airplane. Nobody wanted to be there for the search. Pull us off and bring the dogs on"

Plussat: "These middle distance flights have planes that have no personal intertainment screens in buisness class. The seats have limited comfort even though there is enough room. These planes need to be updated. Service was good and the crew is very friendly."
Miinukset: "There was a long line at the bus gate B60 due to a lack of personnel."

Miinukset: "It is not the airline but rather Istanbul airport. I would have been more convenient with a little more organization to help the massive amount of people going through the airport."

Miinukset: "Isle seats after rows 47 start to be positioned with an angle to accommodate for the plane's narrowing structure. The result is much less leg space which is insufficient for 6'+ tall people."

Miinukset: "I've flown Turkish Airlines for years, and in the recent months I've noticed the thing I really loved about them- their service, food and beverages, have gone down. The quality and availability isn't what it was 3 or 4 years ago."

Miinukset: "Crew never informed us why they were late departing. Boarding the airplane was problematic."

Plussat: "Onboard experience very good. Food, entertainment, facilities. Tight seats - per usual."
Miinukset: "Getting boarding passes and checking luggage took two hours. Literally was being dealt with for two hours personally while a couple employees typed and complained to reticket us after airline inexplicably cancelled our reservation on flight home. Until about 30 minutes before departure, no employee had assured us we would get on the plane we paid to be on. Just no concern for the anxiety we were dealing with - and Turkish caused."

Plussat: "Entertainment choices were great, entertainment available at seat back was excellent."
Miinukset: "By the time they reached my row (37), they had run out of lemonade, chicken dinner, and even customs card. That was poor stocking. The service was mediocre at best. When I asked for beer and a cup of water, the female flight attendant ignored my request and just gave me water. Chicken entree had run out. When I pointed out that I do not eat beef, I was given a half-eaten special-order vegetarian tray: the salad, dessert, bread were all missing. I had to ask again for the rest of the contents of the tray and the male flight attendant was none too happy. So much so that, come breakfast time, he deliberately skipped serving me breakfast - he served the people on both my sides, and just walked away without so much as an explanation. That is rude and obnoxious behavior not becoming of anyone in the service profession."

Plussat: "The cabin crew were wonderful and friendly, the entertainment was top notch (great movies!!), the seats were comfortable, and the food was better than expected. I was quite pleased with the experience (other than the boarding process)"
Miinukset: "The crew when boarding the plane in Istanbul were downright RUDE. Not just rude, they were unhelpful, unwilling to listen, and were actually offensive. It was quite bad. The boarding process was also terrible. The boarding area was stifling hot, crowded, and disorganized. There was no announcement telling us when it was delayed, there was no information about where to line up, and people were chaotically cramming in everywhere. They could have done a much better job of that."

Miinukset: "The in-flight entertainment machine was not very user-friendly. Mine broke early in the flight and it took a couple attempts of telling the crew to get them to fix it. Legroom wasn't particularly great either for such a long flight - my knees were at the front seat immediately, and I'm not particularly tall (under 6 foot)."

Plussat: "The dinner was good but they ran out of chicken immediately so there was only beef. Meal service is very slow and it takes them on average an hour to take the trays away. The lemonade is very good"

Plussat: "The crew was very kind and made their beat efforts accommodate our requests or help us with the issues we experienced in our seats. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food served during the flight."
Miinukset: "The entertainment system in my seat was not working. The crew was very helpful in terms of trying to fix the issue, but unfortunately the system was not fixed. The seats were difficult to push back. We tried several times to push back the seat for the passenger travelling with me, however the seat would not go as far as everyone else's. Unfortunately the flight was not as comfortable for her as it was for the rest of my party traveling with me. For such a large aircraft, Lufthansa should consider boarding economy by seat section. For example, starting with the persons who sit in the back first and then forward. It would speed up the boarding process and alleviate any lines in the aisles in the aircraft. Last but not least, my parties baggage was not transferred during our quick layover from Frankfurt to Krakow. Priority should be given to passengers whose final destination is not Frankfurt. We found out that our luggage's remained in Frankfurt when our names were called by baggage pickup in Krakow. The attendant who was helping us was very cold and treated us as of we were the ones who caused this inconvenience through his tone of voice, as well as his short comments. Lufthansa needs to work on their customer service in Krakow. We were rushed by the agent and it seemed like he wanted to get rid of us asap even though there was no line. We needed to understand where our baggage was and the options available to us, especially because our baggage was carrying important items for my sister in laws bacholerette party that night. We left not knowing when we were going to receive our luggage or if it would even make it to Krakow that night. We called the Number provided to us several times during the Day, however the line did not seem to be actively monitored by an individual. The website we were provided to track our luggage offered little to no insight on the whereabouts of our luggage. We finally found out that the luggage had arrived in Krakow and would be sent by carrier. The carrier arrived late in the evening, right before we were leaving for the bachelorette party thankfully. Better communication in these types of situations would greatly alleviate the stress one feels when their luggage is missing. Aldo surprised that the airline doesn't distribute a care package (I.e. toothbrush, paste, facewash) to passengers whose luggage was left behind."

Plussat: "Lots of great choices in movies and music; good food; great service"

Plussat: "only negative was whining child whose parents did not seem to care if whole plane was disrupted. Had tv available so watched olympics most of way home. Also, beer or wine with dinner"

Plussat: "Even on such a short flight I got a sandwich. It was a salmon sandwich which I never had on any other flights. They usually serve cheese or ham or chicken in the Middle East. It was nice to have something different and nutritious."

Plussat: "Terrible coordination between SAS and United Airlines. Two bags missing, could not find boarding pass of baby, despite us showing them on the SAS website their check in details!"
Miinukset: "Not losing our bags and delaying our boarding massively despite us having completed information in advance on SAS website. United Airlines inability to assign seating all the way through, throwing their hands in the air and blaming SAS, while SAS did exactly the same thing about United."

Miinukset: "The plan was old and dirty, old magazines and gum wrappers in my seat, stained carpet.The ride was quite bumpy."

Plussat: "Yes, crew was excellent"
Miinukset: "I was charged 70 Euros per bag for two bags a total of 140,00 Euros which is more than the airfare per person for flying one way from Tallinn, Estonia to Stuttgart, Germany. I had no other option except cancel the trip which was not an option and so I paid. There should be some fairness! Rampur"

Plussat: "Seats ok. Crew very nice."
Miinukset: "Short flight but entertainment is always a nice thing to have"

Miinukset: "I intensely disliked the 3 hour delay in Copenhagen!!! And that SAS offered the passengers in transit a meal voucher of only 50 danish Kronas, which was just enough to buy a tall Starbucks coffee drink but not enough to eat anything at the airport!"

Miinukset: "Late departure. No roof during queuing for loading and rain..."

Plussat: "No problems. I was satisfied"

Plussat: "Loved the service. Nice small plane. Very easy boarding. This is a quick inter-city flight. The plane is small and agile. It did some pretty nimble turns and sharp banking that might be a little too exciting for some."

Plussat: "Getting off the plane."
Miinukset: "SAS like other airlines gives you a chance to bid on a nicer seat. If the offer is accepted, your card is charged the amount you bid and you are upgraded. If your offer is not accepted, you keep your seat and are not charged for bidding. I placed a bid for a nicer seat and was informed the day before the flight that my bid was rejected. But when the plane was boarding, I went to the man at the desk and asked if the plane was full. He informed me that it was not, and that I could pay roughly $300 for economy plus, or $1000 for business class. Online, I was ALLOWED to bid $200 for the economy plus seat. If they are going to reject this offer and then have the seat fly empty, they are a bunch of dicks. They had a chance for me to be a happier customer and to make more money. Now they lost both. What was also terrible is that when I family with an infant was moved up a few seats, I suggested to the lady next to me who wanted the newly vacant aisle seat that she ask the flight attendant for it. The flight attendant said it was fine. As the lady sitting next to me went to her her new seat, and old man from a few rows up took it. Another flight attendant had promised it to him. So, now the two of us are crammed, she's pissed that the seat she said she could have she couldn't, and I'm there like "My god, they wouldn't even take my money to let me have a nicer, EMPTY, seat." Poor communication, poorly run. Try another airline."

Plussat: "The in-flight entertainment options were good."
Miinukset: "My seat was broken and when I alerted the attendant, in a rude tone, she replied “what do you want me to do?” Not exactly the friendliest experience. It was only compounded by the fact that when we were landing, another attendant insisted I put seat completely upright, and when I told her it had been broken the entire trip, she began forcefully shoving my seat. Not awesome."

Plussat: "Nothing really; this looked like the cheapest transatlantic airline that I have ever taken. Will try to avoid in the future."

Miinukset: "When I went to the SAS counter to print my boarding pass, the counter lady couldn't find my information. She left me at the counter and went inside to find out more info. Then when she came out, she started interrogating me forcefully, about why I got United involved with my check in for my first leg of the trip, because I am causing her to have all this extra work and etc. How dare she!!! First of all. I didn't want to involve United, the service counter at SAS was closed the entire time, and the flight on my first leg was operated by United, so i had no choice but to go to United. In fact I should be the one asking why I had to involve United in the first place. Where was SAS when I needed their help and guidance???? Why was their counter closed the entire time??? Such a poorly organized airline, I'll be wary to fly with SAS again."

Plussat: "We were eventually rebooked in the class we paid for."
Miinukset: "Our flight was cancelled with no notice. We were rebooked in economy class when we paid over $5,000 for business class tickets, and told we would "probably" receive a refund for the difference. after much prodding, asking and begging, we were finally rebooked in a flight on Lufthansa the same night. That airline was upset, though, because SAS did not call them or notify them that we had been switched to their airline."

Miinukset: "Flight cancelled without warning less than two hours before departure."

Miinukset: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."

Plussat: "The crew"
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed well over an hour. I was unable to check in the night before. I was finally able to check in online the afternoon of the flight, but no seats were left, so had a boarding pass with no seat assignment. Got to the gate and they sent me and about 25 other folks with no seat assignment to wait for a "colleague" who finally appeared after almost everyone else had boarded. I did get a seat, but I was one of the last to board. They ran out of salmon dinners, so the stewardess plopped a chicken dish in front of me--didn't eat since I am vegetarian. The stewardess did give me a free mini bottle of wine, which is normally free on Lufthansa. I am just not all that impressed with SAS. I will try to avoid them in the future."

Very expensive stuff like a small red bottle of wine was like almost $15! Nuts... Very disappointed.. It should be free for the money we pay! Also staff just let people leave their windows open which was crazy coz most passengers are tired from other trips and of course in Europe you can hardly see anyone letting the elderly and children have any first priority boarding or let alone line up. I had my disabled husband and a young active little grandchild... Cathay Pacific, PAL,KAL, CAL are great about priority boarding for the elderly and children. Its sad your company do not have compassion or empathy for families with little children and the elderly population.. They really suffer!"
