Miinukset: "We were not allowed to board our connecting flight and are stranded currently at the Istanbul airport and had to book our next flight with indigo as the staff closed the boarding ahead of time even though we were on time. Lot of shouting and crying by other passengers happening for the same reason."

Plussat: "I highly appreciated the kind care of all the staff in the plane; especially the great selection of food. Thank you very much! For a plane it was really 5 * service."
Miinukset: "the correspondence between the staff. On my way to New York, I was brought to the lounge to wait until my boarding will start but nobody picked me up as promised, so I had to walk the way. I needed a wheel chair as well on my way back, extra ordered it at the check in, they said it is noted in the system. But nobody was there to pick me up. When I finally found someone, I was brought to a place, being asked to sit down and wait where I still had to pass stairs to come to the passport controll. From there noone picked me up, so I had to go my way alone with pain in my leg. I don't want to argue, I managed it even with pain but I wonder what happens with people if they cannot walk anymore at all. My advice would be that you work on to improve this service. We extra booked business class but this service was not worth being called business class."

Miinukset: "The gate staff was not forthcoming with information and both of my flights were delayed by an hour and no one shared info with passengers."
Miinukset: "4 hour delay. Sitting on the runway with little communication from captain. Clueless flight attendants. We knew we would miss our connection and no one cared to help."
Plussat: "I have flown Turkish Air many times for the past 8 years and they are a solid airline. They have very good food for airplane food, and a decent entertainment center."
Miinukset: "Unfortunately they have moved away from their Exonomy Plus seats that were great and ample room, whereas now their seating in exonomy is very cramped. They also used to have nice amenities on long international flights like a hot towel and some Turkish Delight before takeoff and landing, but they no longer have that. And my biggest complaint is that they keep their planes unbearably hot most ost of the time. It’s by far the most frustrating thing when your cramped in their tiny spaces for 11 hours."

Miinukset: "Because of an accident, I could not walk and needed a wheelchair. Rome and O'Hare were great. Istanbul was a circus. Waited for over two hours for a wheelchair and almost missed my flight."
Plussat: "The flight attendants were helpful and did extra to make the experience more enjoyable. They served with warm and sincere smile. Service and food were good."

Miinukset: "The flight attendants took a very long time to hand out drinks and meals. The worst part of the flight though, was how long it took them to pick up the trays once people finished their meals. Numerous people had to bring their own trays up so that they could leave their seats and use the bathroom. There were also no drinks distributed between meals. The seats were extremely close together and leaned back very far so that space was extremely limited. It was extremely uncomfortable, unlike other Turkish Airlines flights I've taken."

Miinukset: "The flight left early, without me. Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"
Plussat: "Seatback entertaininment options were amazing. Food wasn't always designed for the American palette, but most of it was pretty good, and they put a good effort into it, unlike US carriers. Flight attendants were great. Boarding was organized and smooth."
Miinukset: "It's just hard to make a 14 hour flight in economy comfortable. Another inch or two of space would have helped, but I understand the tradeoffs involved in that. Baggage collection at IAH took about 30 minutes, but that may have been the airport's fault and not the airline's."

Plussat: "There is a nothing to mention that was memorable or comfortable."
Miinukset: "I asked for an upgrade as we are on our honeymoon. The ground staff only wanted to get us on the plane and not try in anyway to recognize us. Our seats were very poor quality, you should immediately replace them! I would have rather stood than sit on the flight. The in flight entertainment is so poor. Absolutely disappointing especially with the head sets not working because of poor ports of connection. The food was absolutely tragic. You should fire your catering company. I expect more from your airline and I was disappointed all the way through. I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."

Delta/Air France clearly singled her out. i am outraged! I have traveled many, many times and have sent hundreds of students on nearly the same trip -- and none have had as rough a time as she had. They will be hearing from me."

In fact, when purchasing it said that information about baggage was not available.Shocked to have to pay 50 dollars for one bag. I am member of Flying Blue. In the end I was tucking to get checked in because they were insisting I use a kiosk but I was telling them that the kiosk said to see an attendee. Miinukset: "I would like to see all TAP planes come with a standard entertainment option on the headrest in front of you with the advanced menu option of movies, games, radio, etc. and ensure all headphone jacks are operational."
Plussat: "Relatively comfortable business class. Food was good. Entertainment system easy to use."
Miinukset: "They totally screwed up boarding. We waited for about 20-30 minutes in line because they had not worked out the boarding logistics properly. Seat design does not permit an independent adjustment of the foot rest. Crew seemed a little indifferent to our presence; very few smiles."

Miinukset: "1 hr delay in departure from Lusaka. Plastic cutlery was difficult to eat with. More frequent water/drinks (or waterbottles instead of little cups) would have been appreciated. Movie options were not as good as other airlines."
Plussat: "The crew members were very accommodating and friendly. They do a wonderful job. When I told them that the power was not working in my seat and that I needed it for my CPAP (I call it my anti-snoring device), they arranged for me to move to another seat where the power worked for the CPAP. When the power did not work in the new seat for my laptop, they offered to let me charge it in a more powerful outlet near the galley."
Miinukset: "The power didn't work for my laptop. It did work for my CPAP device. Some of the seat control buttons were out of order."

Plussat: "Crew was super nice. The woman at check-in gave us bulkhead seats so my friend and I could sit together. With this, we were able to board first to get plenty of space in the overhead bins. Food and flight entertainment were free and definitely better than average."
Miinukset: "Crews could have greet and serve passengers with a warm smile. Food was acceptable but not as good as Japan / Korean airlines . I suppose the low airfares reflect its Servicr."
Plussat: "Champagne; boarding via SATS business class was smooth but I doubt Ethiopian has much responsibility or this."
Miinukset: "The rest: even mediocre fast food would have been better. The starter was some chewy rosebeef, the main where soggy chicken nuggets. The butter served was rancid! Gross. Also big difference between the older and newest 787! This was the older☹️. Ground crew unhelpful."

Plussat: "we had an overnight stay in addis ababa so we got a free accommodation in town, that was so great, a chance to see town and get a good night sleep before our next flight. the plane is big with screens so you can watch movies, the seat is comfortable, even for a tall guy like me (1.9 m)."
Miinukset: "It did took a lot of time since we landed until we got our bus to take us to town to our hotel. we waited in the airport for more than one hour, it was late, and we were tired. but after we got to the hotel, it was perfect"

Miinukset: "Boarding was slow. The food is the worst I've had on an international flight. Flight crew is often not responsive and brusque. The recline on my wife's seat was broken."
Plussat: "Staff was pretty helpful and you could mostly get what you needed if you didn't mind going back to the galley for it."
Miinukset: "Boarding was literally unsafe (too many people going down an escalator into too small an area). Terribly bland food. Buttons on the seat rest too easy to push accidentally (for things like the light or to call a flight attendant)."

Plussat: "Children running up and down isles screaming while I was trying to rest. I had to go to the rear of the plane to ask the stewardess to bring it to a stop. They should have stopped it BEFORE I had to ask them to stop it."

Miinukset: "Bad service and follow through when luggage lost. Promised it would arrive that afternoon and given a tel number to call. Advised that I could not claim expenses for toiletries, basic necesssities. 1. Luggage did NOT arrive that afternoon 2. No reply to tel calls or got an automatic answering service. 3. No follow through to emails 4. Persistent phone calls at last elicited a response that luggage would arrive next morning - but unable to give a time 5. Luggage arrived late afternoon i.e. 2 full days later 6. I will put in a claim for toiletries, underwear, socks + taxi to get to shops"
Miinukset: "The entire flight was fully booked and plane full of people with bad hygiene whose smell was so offensive that I was nauseous. My friend and I were the only two Western people on the plane and forced to sit in the last row of the plane next to the toilets. Passengers were rude and pushed us during boarding, on the bus, and when leaving the plane. It was disgusting."
Plussat: "Everything including crew members ."
Miinukset: "We were delayed for 30 minutes, then for one hour, then they announced a delay for 3 hours. They changed the gate twice and the staff was not communicating what is happening and when we are supposed to board. Also, they did not add my miles for my connecting flight."

Plussat: "The flight left on time and arrived 20 minutes faster than scheduled. I usually order Kosher meal and enjoyed the food. Unfortunately the Kosher meal they started to serve recently is the WORST food I have had on board. Please avoid the KOSHER!"

Miinukset: "I used kayak to book the flight and the website provided had the incorrect web address for checking in. When I went directly to the Ethiopian airline website they wouldn't allow me to online check in. I called the agency and I couldn't be connected to anyone. I missed the physical check in by 4 minutes and no one was at the counter to help me reschedule. Really disappointing."

Plussat: "It was just a flight. Nothing to rave about. Just a typical up and over flight. The flight left Athens over an hour late and got to Brussels almost 90mins late."
Miinukset: "We weren't offered complimentary beverage service. They did a beverage service for paid drinks and that took well over an hour. We were only given a simple single piece of chocolate while waiting to take off"
Miinukset: "Maybe the entertainment choices"
Plussat: "This flight was eventually cancelled and the rating is solely on the ground experience. EuroWings could not have done anything worse. The process took from 10:30am upon arrival in Dusseldorf til 11:00pm when we were told the counter closed at 10pm and nothing could be done till next day."
Miinukset: "Have representatives on the ground and make public announcements about the progress, next steps, help offered and steps that need to be taken. The info was sparse and had to be gotten on an individual basis. Nothing was coordinated or communicated and every step had to be done WITHOUT HELP."

Miinukset: "Brussels airport staff at pass control needed to acknowledge departure concerns to prevent plane delay of takeoff. Many passengers missed their connection in Chicago because of our delay boarding due to pass control wait and lack of help."

Miinukset: "The check in was shockingly bad. I had pre-checked in, but that did not help. I got put in a line for people who had not checked in. It was not possible to ask to be in the right line. Most of the people behind me were moved to another line while we waited for 30 minutes. When I mentioned the ground crew, who had long conversations with the people checking in, he said it was not their fault at all. It was not impressive."

Miinukset: "I came in 45 minutes before the departure time, but they said i was late. And i asked what can the solution, they said the solution is to cancel my ticket and buy a new one. And they cancelled my ticket, then I did not get any other choice than buy a new ticket at more than $700 just from Abidjan to New York. But some other airline companies, when you miss your flight they find a next one for you and you just pay the fee, but not to cancel your ticket. This last case can happen only if the traveller does not show up and doesn't call."
Miinukset: "Despite the fact that I reserved a window seat, I was assigned a seat in the middle of the center row. They also 'sanitized' the airplane twice after that closed the doors before take off. They walked up and down the aisle with aerosol spray cans. I don't think people should be subject to unknown chemicals in order for the airline to save time on cleaning the cabin before take off."

Miinukset: "I'm very disappointed because i wasn't allowed to travel back to the US from Brussels (Belgium). i was supposed to connect in Toronto but because I'm a foreign student in the US, I wasn't aware that i needed a Canadian Visa to transit in Toronto. so lost my flight and i hard to spend another thousand euros to catch the next flight that will connect in the US territory. I made all the call possible to resolve my flight issue and no one could help me either Brussels airline personnel or the kayak customer service. until today i didnt have not even a email to let me know what happen."

Miinukset: "The flight left 50 minutes after it was scheduled to leave. We were sitting on the hot aircraft the entire time because the crew would not turn on the air. In addition, the host and his service was terrible. When I asked him for water, he told me that I could find it at the back of the flight and I should go get it myself. The other hostess on the other side was handing out waters to whoever needed it. When a passenger sitting next to me asked for a spoon to eat his meal, the host shrugged his shoulders and didn't come back with one. He was blatantly rude and ignored his passenger. We were also not given blankets on an 7-8 hour flight. It was only on request. People who had requested one were then asked to fold and return their blankets (they were not asked kindly) before landing. The selection of tv, music, and shows on board were terrible as well. Barely any selection. Needless to say, this was the worst service I have ever had on an airline."
Plussat: "Problem was, my luggage didn't arrive. I am now in front of lost and found desk, expecting it will come one of next days. My additional problem is, I am traveling on Wednesday in remote area by car and need desperately my luggage!"
Miinukset: "the cabin crew refused to serve any drinks until they served food and they were only serving front to rear, rather than front & rear to middle. as i was sat right at the rear of the plane it meant i didn't get anything to drink for 30-40 minutes. i thought delta were poor on that front but these guys were ridiculous. as for the food: i don't expect much from airlines but i don't consider cake & toblerone to make a breakfast, even if it was served with orange juice."
Miinukset: "The plane was changed and I was given a new seat on the last row without a window. When I complained I was told to move to a middle seat somewhere. In terms of service SN is like a low cost carrier. None."
Plussat: "Best business class for travel to and from Europe."

Miinukset: "Flight from Brussels to Kinshasa was different. It seems for the people of color, there was an old plane. My seat mate TV sCreek did not work. You could tell moldings on seat were very old. one bathroom had no soap, dispenser was broken. I hope this is not your pratice to use your older planes for those traveling to Africa. I will observe this as I travel back to Brussel and on to US."

Miinukset: "The flight was canceled. I found out the day before my departure - the airlines didn't even contact me to let me know - and I never got reimbursed for the canceled flight. I had to purchase a $1500 new ticket to get back home in time. I wrote to the Brussels Airlines and they never addressed these complains."

Plussat: "I liked that my seat was by the window and I saw the most beautiful sky in my life! And the seat next to me was empty so I was able to stretch my legs and even lay down to sleep. The crew was very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was very good, I was just glad that I was fed."
Miinukset: "The only thing I didn't like is that turbine was blocking my view but I wasn't a big of a deal at all. I was just happy that all that long flight I was sitting by the window and was able to see the sunrise."
Plussat: "Since this flight it not all that long it went well overall. The crew seemed good working together and were very organized and professional."
Miinukset: "airline seats will never be comfortable so that is always my biggest complaint."
