Miinukset: "Customer service was very poor while we were struggling to get back to the US while the hurricane was coming to FL. We tried twice to fly home earlier because we knew the flights were going to get cancelled but the airlines wanted to charge us $1500 for that. So when the time came and the flights got cancelled they were trying to adjust the flights and we got stranded away from our kids. Overall it was not a great experience as far as their customer service and we were not happy with how they chose to handle things."

Miinukset: "My flight was cancelled twice within 24 hours before takeoff. All I got was an email saying it was cancelled and a number where no one could help me. I spent over $40 international calls just to reschedule my flight, only to have to take a $80 cab to the airport to have a human help me. Worst customer service and worst experience. I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

Plussat: "The food was delicious. I loved that there were blankets, pillows, and headphones for everyone and they were not at extra cost. We also received care bags with lip balm, socks, slippers and a night mask as well as a toothbrush and toothpaste. The flight did not seem like 12 hours. Thankfully."

Miinukset: "In All my flights with them it is Sssoooo hot!!! They save on A/C??? I asked to cool the cabine - they did for 15 min and back to heat again . Managing seat assignment is impossible if you book through a website other than theirs . They don't have an "economy comfort " option"

Miinukset: "Customer Service. They cancelled my flight in the middle of my vacation and just sent me an email moving my flights to next day. Unacceptable!!! I paid for it 4 months in advance. One cannot change my arrival from Sunday night to Monday night. Called Customer Service 20+ times to have it fixed. They are all outsourced incompetent and unprepared. Good planes overall, but horrible customer service. I will never fly Turkish again. I prefer to pay more and have decent customer service and no flights cancellations in the middle of my vacation."

Plussat: "My travel mate left her phone on the plane at one point flying from Munich to Ataturk airport and the women at the lost and found counter were very helpful in getting the device back."

Miinukset: "For suggesting that you are the best airline the airplane was VERY unconfortable. seats are super narrow, absolutely no leg room, 12 hrs in that space makes you insane. I would not recomend the airline to anyone. I had high spectations and they werent satisfied at all."

Miinukset: "The plane was half empty yet they say everyone uncomfortable towards the front."

Miinukset: "Food took up too much tray space and crew did not clear trays promptly. Messages from pilot were inaudible. We went through more than four security checks and we were only transferring planes in Istanbul. Terminal was short on places to sit and had excessive duty free shopping. Walks in terminal went on for miles. With the flight gate only posted 35 minutes ahead of departure, this was a problem."

Plussat: "Boarding was fine in Istanbul. Go to toilet before going through security check in the gate."
Miinukset: "Poor crew service--amazingly slow (my general THY service experience has been great, but in this leg crew did not respond to calls for almost 20-30 minutes). After meals, most people took their own empty trays to return them behind (because the crew had not picked up after 30+ minutes). The meals arrived cold as well. My entertainment set froze after 4 hours in a 13 hours trip, and was not attended to after repeated calls. One conscientious Turkish stewardess was very helpful in the 9th hour (literally), even if the entertainment did not come back on. To top these, I was sandwiched between a teenager on front and teenagers on right, who were loud and generally weird (obviously not the airlines fault). So, it ended up being a mediocre experience overall."

Plussat: "The desk personnels from the Philippines (flight from Phils to Istanbul) were very accommodating when I requested if the plane was not full that I could be seated on an area where the other seat was not occupied. Very professional with smiling faces."
Miinukset: "So now, this would be the opposite (big time), this lady personnel on the desk (flight from Istanbul to Miami), when I asked her for the same request, she did not even look on the computer and quickly stated that the plane was full. I travel a lot so I just know that this person was lying and sure enough when everyone boarded, they were empty seats. I should have gotten her name because she was just plane lazy and unprofessional, it showed that she did not like her job. I paid an expensive Turkish plane ticket, so I deserve that courtesy and I would fully understand anyway if there were no seats at all but please don't even take your costumers like a fool."

Plussat: "Worst flight ever. Please enforce conduct code."
Miinukset: "I had to ask a neighboring passenger if her would allow me 20mins of my flight without his rear end in my face. He was a fairly large man and constantly bending over in the isle to chat with his family. His infant was being attended to by his wife who constantly paced around to shake the baby (I'm sure the baby was annoyed as well). The baby finally spat up on the floor and seat. Everyone in the family could not sit still more than 5mins at a time, jumping up, moving around, switching seats, passing items. The men turned the area into a social scene/bar. I was too distracted by all this activity hovering over me to enjoy reading or relaxing. I constantly had rear ends in my face, and I constantly had to dodge and lean in my seat. The aforementioned tall man even had the nerve to fold away my television monitor when I dozed off so that it would not be an obstruction for his activity. By then I'd had enough. The This flight was terrible. Non of the staff requested better conduct or mindfulness of the other passengers. I believe the airline should strongly consider having a separate space for large families, families with babies, or at least have a code of conduct to which passengers should respect for the sake of every paying customer's ability to enjoy such a long flight."

Plussat: "My suitcase was delayed, but I'd like to notice and appreciate efforts taken by Turkish airlines rep. at MIA to get it found and delivered in a timely manner. She also followed up asking if everything is fine with it. Thank you, guys!"
Miinukset: "Rude young lady security officer in Istanbul airport, who forced me to start my laptop working like it's forbidden item to carry on. She talked with intonation like I did something wrong and she is thereto discover it. I believe better workplace for her would be to supervise some prisoners, not welcoming guests at international airports. All other officers (including other security control ones) were looking overwhelmed by work flow, but still polite and friendly."

Miinukset: "Last minute changes of aircraft that suddenly make what one thought to be an aisle seat a middle seat! Very annoying."

Miinukset: "Called to change date. Thy did not take credit card payment over the phone for a stupid reason. Asked me to go to a thy office no later than 10.30 am the next day. Every airline grabs the money, these "very smart" thy admin has developed rules to make passengers' life's inconvenient. Highly not recommended. Lousy airline. Broke my luggage on top of this on my flight from Miami to Istanbul. NOT recommended. Refrain from even suggesting thy to your customers. You have a good name."

Plussat: "Foods and the staffs attitude"

Plussat: "Flowers in the bathroom! WOW! Hot rolls with meals! Wide variety of choices in online movies. Somehow my name was dropped from the Vegetarian Meal list. (It was there DEL to Istanbul, but not Istanbul to MIA). So, the chief made a grilled veggie plate for me that was excellent. Crew was very polite and handled the situation in a friendly & professional manner."
Miinukset: "I reserved an aisle seat. Due to lower back & hip problems I need to get up and stretch. Turkish Airlines changed my seat reservation to a middle seat. The woman next to me was rather large, took up a lot of real estate (took up her seat and overflowed onto mine) and was unfriendly. It was impossible for me to get up, or to stretch. I was unable to return to work today due to sciatica problems related to flight seating. (I checked with the flight drew. The plane was full. There were no aisle seats available even if I could afford to upgrade to another class.)"

My twelve hours from Miami to Istanbul turned out to be less because of the amazing service I recieved. Very happy that this airline exist and cannot wait to go back and experience this great airline again."

Miinukset: "The flight had a large group of Hungarian tourists going on a cruise. The did not sleep, the crew let them do whatever they wanted including drinking everything in sight. It came a close second to the food poisoning I received on my flight from Miami. I know the food was bad due to the fact that the same food was served on my flight from Istanbul to Bangkok. People were sick on that flight as well. I was returning for a funeral and I was charged for the difference."

Plussat: "FROM THE TURKISH DELIGHTS to the amazing choice of food and drinks all the movies to watch flying with turkish airlines was amazing!!! considering the prices for the tickets beat every airline out there and it was like a week before departure!! incredible just incredible no complaints at all!!"

Plussat: "Excellent crew, provided beverages constantly, meals were very good for airplane food, seats were comfortable for most of the 9.5 hours. Entertainment selections were more than adequate. Even the babies were quiet !!!"
Miinukset: "TV screens did not function consistently, had to be reset a couple of times. Plane was late boarding (but made up most of the time). Had to go through security a second time even though it was a connecting flight. Luggage got crushed in a carousel pile-up and took a long time to come out."

Plussat: "The crew helped my mom very much with her ansiery and were with her at all times."
Miinukset: "I bought the flight for my mom and she is handicap, the flight got delayed and they wanted to leave her in Frankfurt for 2 days because there was no more flights to the States, in the end they found a flight to Washington DC, she was coming to Miami. She is an old woman who gets lost and I had to order assistance for her, in Washington DC they opened her bags after that they lost the bags, she had medication on them and it was a nightmare to get them back. Im really upset and I don’t think That I’m going to book with this aero line again."

Plussat: "The flight attendants were always friendly and attentive. No comparison to some other airlines I have flown with. Food was excellent and entertainment as well. Boarding went great especially when considering that the capacity of the plane is for 440 passengers."
Miinukset: "The seats are very close to each other, so when the person in front of me move their seat back I had to ask him not to."

Plussat: "Service is good, you actually get food and drinks, thanks for that."
Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Miinukset: "Booked way in advanced, paid extra to book upper deck on both; outgoing flight Miami - Frankfurt and return, but was bumped out of our seats. Spent 2 hours on the phone trying to book them again, and ended up on a lower deck on the Miami - Frankfurt flight, but re-booked on the upper deck on Frankfurt- Miami flight although not the side seats as I originally booked myself, but in the middle section. The entertainment's touch screen system is inadequate, not reacting to touch efficiently."

Plussat: "Excellent service and very professional crew both on the ground and in the air. Flight comfortable and a right on time. I highly recommend Lufthansa."

Plussat: "There were lots of out of the ordinary (read annoying) behavior. Of other passengers and the cabin crew responded patiently and professionally."
Miinukset: "Boarding did not proceed by rows as customary so boarding was a bit chaotic with everyone rushing to the gate. The reclining seats aee an issue. Although comfortable for the ones reclining they are uncomfortable and at times painful ( taller people) and makes watching the screen impossible when fully reclined."

Plussat: "Apart from the turbulence everything was perfect. Flight attendants were very hospitable. Love the aircraft design. Great movie choices for the kids. In addition to that we all reach our destination safely. That's all that matters."

Miinukset: "No seating area at or near the gate we boarded at, and as boarding was delayed, many people ended up standing for some time because we did not wish to wander too far and then be late for boarding."

Miinukset: "Would have been nice to have an entertainment option, but I had a book, so the 2.5 hrs went fast enough."

Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."

Plussat: "Crew worked hard to make the journey pleasant, including the second crew for my connection to New York JFK, a much longer flight. Even some of the food was edible."

Plussat: "I like that everything is done fairly quickly and efficiently."
Miinukset: "It may be a cultural thing for some, but two of the flight attendants did not smile at all. Not even really an acknowledgement when I said hello to them. And I tried throughout the flight to see if it was just because they were too busy or simply did not hear or notice me. It's not a big deal now, but it can be if the whole staff were to become silent and non-interactive."

Plussat: "I like the service in general. Everything was great and the flight attendants where very helpful and kind. The food was good and the entertainment had all types of movies, music and games."

Plussat: "Smooth flight, very nice, polite crew, good entertainment selection. I'm a tall guy so I'll always complain about comfort lol. Food was OK. Choice of mystery pasta and once beef once chicken ( I had pasta twice )."

Plussat: "Crew was polite but kept on speaking to me in German, I am American and only speak Finnish besides English, it was annoying"
Miinukset: "Having to wait over 90 minutes to debark the plane, this after weather pattern diverted us so much it added couple of hours to our flight, not fun at all. Also the gluten free food ordered did not show up so I got a yogurt the whole 13 hrs, with celiac it impossible to eat anything else."

Miinukset: "I arrived at airport with my connecting flight at 9pm, there was no way to check my luggage until 4am. I could not go to transit hall until someone took my luggage so I was able to board but no place to leave luggage like other airlines, that was not fun since the transit halls had the sleep pods I could have used"

Plussat: "I HAVE NOT FLOWN MUCH ON LUFTHANSA IN RECENT YEARS BUT THIS TRIP WAS THE RIGHT PRICE (THE NEXT DAY IT WENT UP BY ALMOST $1000.00) AND I UPGRADED TO BETTER ECONOMY SEATS. THE RELATIVE CHARGE WAS WELL WORTH IT. a WIDER AND SOFTER SEAT MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE ON THESE LONG FLIGHTS."

Plussat: "I loved the spaciousness and comfort of the seats. The crew was always very cheerful and went beyond to make us comfortable and attend to all our needs. The food was pretty good for airlines food and all our requests were immediately granted. I will only fly Lufthansa in the future."

Plussat: "Overall I would highly recommend the Lufthansa airlines to any of my friends and family. The flight was on time and we were able to board quickly without any delays. It was an 11 hrs flight and I was satisfied with the crew service (friendly and professional) and the comfort of the plane."

Miinukset: "My wife’s bag was damaged during handling, but I am not sure that is the fault of Air Europa, perhaps the airport personnel in Miami or Madrid."

Plussat: "Entertainment was great. Paying for internet is annoying, but there were so many free movies and tv shows that I didn't miss it."
Miinukset: "It was seriously hot on this flight. I am very cold most of the time and I was sweating during parts of the flight. My husband is always warm and he was miserable all flight. Had to press the call button three times to get a glass of water when I was feeling ill. Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and took awhile to get more. Couldn't sleep because of the temperature. Flight felt like it took double the time because it was so hot. Took forever to board and left way late, arrived late. Our flight over to Madrid was great, but this flight back was awful."

Miinukset: "The worst experience ever, they charge $190 extras"

Miinukset: "My fare did not include a checked bag. I find it hard to believe that anyone would take an intercontinental flight without checking a bag. The fee to check a bag at the airport is $150. This sounds like something a shady company would pull off. Was very disappointed, not what I expected from Air Europa"

Plussat: "Modern airplane and personal screens"
Miinukset: "Boarding process was too slow. Could have been better organised."

Miinukset: "Next time Air France of British Airways. No more Air Europa."

Plussat: "clean plane food and drinks comfortable seats"
Miinukset: "warm and you can't adjust personal vents the internet and on flight entertainment kept going offline. the monitors were reset 3 times and nothing got better."

Plussat: "Ahead of schedule out and inbound."
Miinukset: "Paid for wifi didn't work for me."

Plussat: "Very helpful crew. Courtious"
Miinukset: "Food could be better in flight."

Plussat: "Check in at airport staff Alba was very nice and helpful. Airplane crew was friendly but some of the air hostesses push their way through the pushing customers"
Miinukset: "Needed my family to be together at flight. Customer service was useless and did not help to resolve the problem. It was only resolve at last minute at the airport check in. Jose the supervisor at sift 10!am was like a robot about the allocation sitting. Did not understand personal circumstances to have a family flying together on a 9 house flight. Customer service is generally useless and a very unpleasant experience, the new seat charges and the inflexibility is making me wonder if I will choose air Europa again for my flights from the US. Flight was also delay due to some lugage delays. Pretty messy experience overall."

Plussat: "Latest aircraft provides the best comfort you can get in economy class !"
Miinukset: "Not enough food in our dish. Entertainment catalog had nice films and series but not enough choice in my experience. French subtitles would have been nice."

Plussat: "The plains are very wide inside. Don't make you fell so close in. Need more variety of movies and games. But it was acceptable . The food was good."

Miinukset: "Ran out of toilet paper"

Plussat: "Equipment and crew on both Paris to Madrid and Madrid to Miami were good. 787 aircraft is good. On time and as pleasant as economy air travel today can be."
Miinukset: "Distance between landing gate in Madrid and departure gate too long. (Sign says 31 minutes walking time!) Also very long distance between landing gate and luggage claim in Miami - I don't know what passengers who can't walk well do. Food bad even for airline standards and Air Europa may have worst coffee of any airline - I can't imagine worse."

Miinukset: "Excellent plane. Good food."

Miinukset: "All atención on board was pretty nice !"

Miinukset: "Fee for Wifi and TV show options somewhat limited."

Miinukset: "Worst Wi-Fi ever lost connection after 10 min and you have to keep buying. Don't fly ."

Plussat: "Safe trip back home, thank you."
Miinukset: "I felt as if I was treated unfairly by one of the crew members. She clearly saw my friends and I did not receive a meal but continued to pass on the lunches even after noticing my hand was up. It wasn't until I got the attention of another crew member that she finally recognized we were lunchless. Hate to be that guy but could there be some type of prejudice within the Spanish crew members?"

Miinukset: "It has a 2.5 hours delay I had an important meeting, I had to cancel"

Plussat: "Fresh new airplane and great service"

Plussat: "This time Air Europa make us field like nothing before. The check in at the airport, to get in, but specially the time in the fly, they need to improve. The food cold and very bad. We asked for an upgrade do to my health condition and ready to pay the different, nothing."
Miinukset: "In other words, never againg. Thank you Kayak for the opportunity to express my experience."

Plussat: "I was not able to connect because of what happened earlier. I did get on Virgin Atlantic and got fantastic service there. Virgin Atlantic is great!"

Plussat: "New airplane 787 Dreamliner was great!"

Plussat: "The entertaiment and the crew were fine."
Miinukset: "I did not like the food and I spent more than an our in the line of aireuropa in Madrid airport to check in the luggage. The space between sits us not enough."

Plussat: "The airplane was neat and the crew nice also, I don't have complains about that."
Miinukset: "Too little space between seats, always has the person behind putting their knees in my back! Also the food is not that great, and had to pay even for the earphones!"

Plussat: "Entertainment variety"
Miinukset: "Customer service lack of skills. It seems that Air Europa staff do not want to be there doing their job. The new aircraft was extra narrow, lack of comfort. Very disorganized at time of boarding. Waited one hour for a cup of water when coughing."

Plussat: "787 is awesome, comfortable seats"
Miinukset: "food was okay, alcohol is charge for seconds in transatlantic flights, all charge in medium haul trips, even water. is nice but is not Virgin or British good."

Plussat: "new airplane"
Miinukset: "I checked my seats but when we returned they give us a different ones"

Plussat: "The airplane was amazing brand new!"
Miinukset: "The crew was ok, I wanted to give her a glass of water I didn't want to drink and she refused and told me I had to wait because she was busy... Then she never came back, so I had to drink it anyways to avoid it from splashing my neighbor. Another crew member was kind enough to bring me chamomille because I wasn't feeling ok so some crew members were really nice others really dissapointing"

Plussat: "Plane was new and everything worked. TVs were nice and the automatic adjustable window tint was a nice touch. Food was pretty good and movie selection was also nice."
Miinukset: "Cannot control the temperature as they have no adjustable air vents above you - so it got pretty hot during one portion of our flight. Also our flight took off over an hour late and the communication as to what was happening was not the best."

Plussat: "It esa great"
Miinukset: "Yes i like so much"

Miinukset: "Gate Agents did not indicate reason for almost 2 hour delay. It was for security purposes and nobody told us anything."

Plussat: "Their new Dreamliner plate 787 is magnificent. Food and entertainment are awesome."
Miinukset: "We had a delay inside the plane in Madrid airport of 4 hours and they didn't serve any food or water and NO air conditioning. Waiting inside the plane was terrible. They said they had a malfunction of the brake system which is hard to believe on a brand new plane."

Plussat: "everything"

Miinukset: "My jewelry was stolen from my luggage."

Plussat: "El Economy premium me parecio super bueno calidad/ precio."

Plussat: "The crew was very nice and attentive"
Miinukset: "The coach seats are too small and restrictive. The flight almost 11 hours!!! I see that as before the trip was in a direct line on the map, not accounting for more than 8 plus hours, not the route is in a curve and much longer. So many hours in those seats is a torture!!!!"

Miinukset: "We had to wait 1hr on board of the plane because there was no tractor available to push the plane back to the taxi ramp at the Barajas Airport in Madrid. Flight was late at Miami Food is the worst and hardly any. Entertainment is basic and had to pay for the headphones which should be included."

Miinukset: "The boarding was somehow on time at the first beginning. However, after we have all boarded, they announced that 3 of the passengers decided not to flown with us. Therefore, in order to take out their luggage, we were on board waiting for about 45 minutes more. It is obvious that the flight was overbooked."

Plussat: "Left late again. Baby cried in ur row (that we paid extra for), for 9 of the 9 1/2 hrs. Had to go ask for drinks . Seats too narrow. Too many people squeezed into plane."

Plussat: "Left 90 minutes late and you shouldn't put people in a chair that can't recline. Ten hours in the last row was agonizing."

Plussat: "There was overbooking so they promoted me to business class, that was the best part! I liked that they had the latest Terminator movie available too. The plane was new and looked nice."
Miinukset: "My inbound flight was two hours late because the plane didn't arrived on time. This time the flight was scheduled earlier and the plane was on time. However, we departed again with more delays due to poor boarding management. The crew was correct and polite but I'd appreciate having more water available. I boarded with my own bottle of water which I emptied and still felt very thirsty since they weren't passing water around as frequently as I'd like. BA cares about that aspect much better."
