Miinukset: "My mother is terminal, as in, she's DYING. So she was having a momentous flare up and we were running a little late. NOWHERE we were told we had to be at check in prior to an hour before the flight. Made it there 6 minutes after that "hour" check mark and were unable to make the flight. Tried to rebook and was told to pay the $800 per ticket that we already paid. Who has that kind of money? Guess I'll see if she can settle for sea world or the damn beach instead of Egypt like she wanted to. Thanks for nothing. For absolutely nothing."

Plussat: "Loved the selection of movies. Airplane seats were comfy. Departure and connections were on time."
Miinukset: "Flight attendants were very slow to respond to requests and when an old passenger threw up, they didn't offer him help. They just sprayed the area and left the yuck instead of cleaning up immediately, despite my numerous requests. So you can imagine the smell."

Miinukset: "The issue of excess baggage. Would appreciate to buy on line before my flight so that I know how much to carry and also that I am covered before leaving home. Payment at the airport may be too costly as well as unreasonable. It's like a penalty for having excess luggage. This is the reason I prefer flying with EMIRATES because they afford me to but pay fir excess luggage before my departure. Planning ahead is key"

Plussat: "Great food, great plane, shortest flight."
Miinukset: "The restroom is too narrow on this plane, at least the one I tried. They ran out of one entree since everyone wanted chicken and not the fish. They should know this and make more chicken available and less fish. But I tasted both and both entrees were good. The "sour cherry juice" is great."

Miinukset: "Food was great but desserts were terrible. Rice pudding or almond pudding could be better choice."

Miinukset: "We ordered regular vegetarian food without any meat, fish or poultry. We had reserved it at least 2 weeks in advance. Again reminded them at the time of ticketing. Agent went to some one, there was some nodding of heads and we were told to tell crew member in advance. We did it in a written request to head crew. When time came other crew member served us completely ignorant of our request. We were served flash of some animal. We did not want to make a scene but people around were were also bothered. We came out hungry at the other end"

Plussat: "Despite the short connection time, I was able to make my second flight comfortable, and my bags reached my destination on time, with me. The crew was polite and professional, and worked very quickly. The bathroom was larger than on other airlines, and I think that the aisle was also slightly larger. The seats were relatively comfortable. The white wine was very good also. In summary, I was very pleased with Turkish Airlines."
Miinukset: "The food was not very good. I ordered ovo-lacto (which I guessed to be vegetarian that includes eggs and milk products). I know that airline food is not supposed to be top notch, but the food was quite dull, my pasta was both overcooked and cold, the fruit pieces had too much pulp and also tasted weird, and the bread tasted like it had been frozen for a long time and then microwaved. The announcements in English were very hard to hear and understand."

Plussat: "It was nice that I received a meal on a short flight. The flight went smoothly and arrived on time."
Miinukset: "The meal itself was mediocre. Entering the plane, instead of being greeted by the flight attendants, we were greeted by a nice man with a chef's hat. I hope that this is not something political. It is very important to have a cabin attendant greeting passengers."

Miinukset: "I arrived at airport with my connecting flight at 9pm, there was no way to check my luggage until 4am. I could not go to transit hall until someone took my luggage so I was able to board but no place to leave luggage like other airlines, that was not fun since the transit halls had the sleep pods I could have used"

Plussat: "Boarding was again easy, directions were clear as to where I should sit. My only trouble with the crew was that announcements were sometimes too quiet to hear at all, which I hardly cared about anyway (seat belts, please). The movie selection was unexpectedly good, as was the music section. Books were meh."
Miinukset: "I was not comfortable after about four hours, my biggest problem being I had already been riding in an airplane for a total of six hours that day. Food was fine, but came with salt, which was nice. I don't expect a four course meal on an airplane, but I didn't eat with gusto. The headphones provided were lousy, but I just plugged in my own set."

Miinukset: "Hopelessly long processing at specific security line I was going through. Detailed checking of passengers luggage, including mine, which just went through x-Ray machine caused that I missed my connecting flight. Lufthansa Service Center did not accept my explanations and despite considerable number of seats on the next flight wanted to charge me around 570 Euro for a ticket price increase and 269 Euro penalty. I ended up paying 269 Euro penalty only .... still horrible experience."

Plussat: "The crew was great. I was served by a woman named Lori that was the best flight attendant I have ever encountered. Extremely polite and at tentative to every need. Always asking if everything was alright and how she could make the flight better for me. She took a genuine interest in me and my travels. We engaged in great conversation and she was extremely pleasant. Thank you Lori!"
Miinukset: "The in flight entertainment on the back seat did not work. Also, I paid over $16 for Internet to work during the flight and it constantly kept dropping signal and connection. The router went in and out all flight. It should have been reimbursed but was never taken care of."

Plussat: "Your have great people working for your company. I have approached them with questions and they have answered me with kindness and efficiency. I want to mention a lady in your counter in Spaim, Ms Monte Castro, she was respectful, approachable, and had the human touch to treat people. Thank you for training your personnel so well. The crew boarding children were nice with the litte ones. As an observer who previously had traveled with children I thought it was refreshing to see your erdonnel. Every fligh attendant had a nice smile and great desire for the well being of the people."

Plussat: "We got to Chicago at least 45 minutes before the expected landing time. The dinner was pretty good and the crew came around many times offering drinks. The ground crew did a good job of evaluating luggage and tagging people’s bags before the overhead bins got too full so it didn’t delay our flight."

Miinukset: "Original 5 pm flight was cancelled because there was no Crew or plane, even though it’s a United hub. Though flight cancelled early, United could not get me home same day so provided hotel and meal. Next day flight scheduled 7:05 then 8 am, but even that time came and went without boarding. 15 hours delayed and no hurry getting the plane to depart at the stated time. Total lack of customer service and concern"

Miinukset: "sick, screaming babies in small upper deck space. I realize the airline cant help this but it would be a good idea to seat them all in one area of the aircraft so staff can give them the attention they need."

Plussat: "The crew was extremely responsive, inviting, and constantly walking about the cabin to see if passengers needed juice or water. The boarding, for such a large flight, was pretty smooth."
Miinukset: "The small screens for entertainment need to be updated. It took mine a few minutes into the flight before I could access all of the entertainment options. Additionally, the touchscreen was very difficult to navigate, as it jumped between non-responsive and too sensitive throughout the flight. Furthermore, the headphone jack should be updated, so that passengers can use their own headphones without an adapter. The headphone audio setup at my seat did not work very well."

Plussat: "Early flight, from getting on the plane to out at bag check it took less than an hour! Flight was not full so middle seats were also free."

Miinukset: "The flight took off 2 hours late they must have known it was going to be that late, yet they lied saying that it was on time, forcing you to come to the airport early, then when you get to the airport they did the - oh its going to be 20 minutes late, no 40, no 1.5 hours late, heck it will be 2 hours late etc. Micro-tight seat pitch - I could barely sit in the seats."

Plussat: "The crew was more helpful than the transatlantic flight."
Miinukset: "My seat. It was right behind the first class and as the crew rushed to serve them, they threw the separating curtain at my face as I was sitting on the corridor. It was so frequent I couldn't sleep and the passanger did the same."

Plussat: "Staff and flight were great. We were surrounded by kind of rude flyers. They complained when my husband moved the seat back. And they were just standing in the aisle most of the time. Person in front of me stretched her arms over the seat so her hands were dangling in front of me and fingers in my screen. I know we were in coach, but maybe another inch of separation would be nice for such long flights."

Miinukset: "Entertainment was just too poor(movie selection was just counted numbers.) the seat comfort was one of the ugliest, I think. even though they prepared many of premium seats, still once you compare with other airlines, it is far below than the average I think."

Miinukset: "My final leg of the trip was delayed by 3 hours, making us sit on the plane. I missed my connection in Minneapolis. Not happy because the airline did nothing to help me get home."

Miinukset: "Transfer in Frankfurt was impossible on time. Had to rebook later flight"

Plussat: "Even on this short 1-hour prop flight they do have average service and pass out Swiss chocolate."

Miinukset: "Boarding was not organized at all. I was sitting in the front yet I got in almost at the end and barely was able to find a place for my handbags. Ut took way too long and people had to stand for a long time to board. Crew members were not up to par either. I had my earphones and was watching a movie and feel asleep. And everytime one them passes by, they will knock me awake. I was extremely tired and tried hard to sleep yet they kept waking me up every time one of them passes by, no matter how skinny they were! Totally unprofessional."

Miinukset: "My parents were traveling, they dont speak english and I verified with Austrian airlines that they would be assisted at the gates and that they had the correct visas for each airport they had a layover in. I was assured there would be no problems. Upon boarding they were not able to get on their flight. I have never had so many communication issues and frustrations in the middle of the night with an airline. disappointed."

Plussat: "The Swiss Air staff provided water and nice sandwiches for us while we stood in line for hours and put us up in a very nice hotel for the night."
Miinukset: "My first flight with Austrain Airlines was 2 hours late in leaving, partly because they mixed our baggage up and had to have each of us leave the airplane to identify our baggage before getting back on again. Because of this, I missed my connecting flight in Zurich. Apparently hundreds of other passengers were in a similar situation, because I spent the next 6.5 hours standing in line to getting my new itinerary and hotel vouchers."

Plussat: "It was a total nightmare all Austrian flights they put us on were canceled !!! We did not leave Vienna for another 7 h a total nightmare all planes had technically difuculties !! Austrian airlines had total chaos !!!"

Miinukset: "This was not business service. The seats were uncomfortable, virtually no leg room."

Miinukset: "We ended up needing to check a bag. It cost 40 Euros which seemed high. We were sent to another line to pay then back to check in. Then our flight was 45 minutes delayed leaving. Fortunately the pilot got us in to Zurich only 20 Mon late. Just typical "never know what's gonna happen"."

Plussat: "Service was great, the stewardess's were very professional and very caring without being too personal which is great for me .Every was done quickly and professionally with a great sense of efficiency and purpose .Hard to explain but so different from other airlines . Multimedia was phenomenal"
Miinukset: "Food portions were smallish but acceptable .Seat reservation service got totally mixed up ,reserved one seat and got another .Maybe software glitch ,needs to be fixed."

Plussat: "The cabin and gate crew provided a very friendly atmosphere. At the gate, the staff were very efficient in getting passengers on board despite the 20-30 minute delay. During the flight, attendants did a good job making sure meals were on time and drinks were offered often."
Miinukset: "Since the plane clearly came from another destination, the cleaning crew at Vienna International Airport could have taken some more time to vacuum the floor and wipe down the surfaces in the passenger cabin of the aircraft."

Miinukset: "My Swiss flight from Stuttgar via Zurich to JFK was cancelled before 24 hours without explaining the reason. They should explain the reason at least. I had to take an another flight and arrived at JFK after 6 hours from the original flight. My trip was totally messed up, so I was not happy at all."

Plussat: "Flight attendants were extremely friendly and considerate of passenger needs. In flight Wi-Fi is free in economy. Good leg space between the rows. Overall it's rare to find such good service now a days."

Plussat: "We had a friendly conversation about our travels. The lady explained the entire baggage process clearly. The security folks were equally friendly. Just a real nice experience at the Lugano airport."

Plussat: "Make sure your carry on luggage is less then 8 kg. Or you would have to check it at your own cost. The food is OK but the portion is very small. If you want a window or isle seat, it would’ve cost you 30 euro to reserve it. The crew is very nice. I guess because the air fare is very cheap, they need to do everything to make the extra cash."

The inflight crew was nice and attentive for the little time we saw them but the ground crew never ev n bothered to make an announcement. Just had us sitting there like a heard of cattle."

Miinukset: "Although AU blamed late arrival of the plane from Russia, fact is that the plane was at least one hour at the dock before boarding and the AU team was just extremely slow to get boarding done. We were all invited 45 minutes before boarding to board, when apologies were already offered for the slight delay, which turned into 1.5 hour overall. Worst is the lack of communication during the 45 minute wait, for which I have little understanding seeing many older people clearly suffering."

However, when we boarded the airplane on 9/5/2016, we were charged 30 Euros for each bag, a total of 120 Euros for 4 checked in bags of 4 passengers. This is unfair, and I would like it to be corrected if possible. Thanks."

Miinukset: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Plussat: "The crew came to get me from the arrival gate to get to the departure gate since our plane was delayed. It helped to know that the airline was checking to make sure we made the flight."
Miinukset: "I did not get my luggage in Nairobi. The delayed flight that was the most likely reason it did not get to the connecting flight to Nairobi."

Miinukset: "Delay again... seems to be pretty frequent on KLM flights at least on the ones I flew with in the past 4 years... this time it was 3hours wait due to a technical issue... no alternative flight option and we ended up getting a very old plane as a replacement. In addition people at info terminals are disorganized and not kind at all.."

You get a drink and snack; and at no annoying sales announcements. Miles club membership is free, even if you don't fly regularly well worth it as it halves the cost of cost of checked baggage. Peaceful airline with no hidden costs during booking."

I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."

First of all. I didn't want to involve United, the service counter at SAS was closed the entire time, and the flight on my first leg was operated by United, so i had no choice but to go to United. In fact I should be the one asking why I had to involve United in the first place. Where was SAS when I needed their help and guidance???? Why was their counter closed the entire time??? Such a poorly organized airline, I'll be wary to fly with SAS again."

When I pressed the call button for him it took someone 35minutes to come back and then she told him she would help him after dinner. I pressed a call button the second time to help him find something and again it took over 30 minutes for someone to come back to us. If there was a real emergency this delay would have been a huge problem. The stewardess was extremely rude in general."

Miinukset: "My long haul flight was delayed by two hours and ten minutes. I only had 2 hours and twenty minutes between flights at CPH. When we landed, we were assured our flight would be held. I got off my first SAS flight with 15 minutes to make it to a gate 20 minutes away. I will point out I was going to another SAS flight. I booked it, even running when I could. My flight took off without me even though I was only three minutes late and had been assured the flight would be held. At least 12 other people were in the same boat. My rescheduled flight had me do yet another layover and I arrived in Warsaw a full 6 hours late. All because SAS was incompetent to hold their flight for a few minutes."

Our final destination was not the same since the flight was rescheduled to depart Washington so much later, and SAS had terrible customer service in trying to change the second connecting flight to Berlin instead of Hamburg. We talked to 5 different representatives from the airline before someone would accept responsibility and take action instead of passing it off to someone else/ another company."

Miinukset: "Connection time in Copenhagen was short. While I got to the gate in time, my checked bag did not, and I had to wait for it for 3 hours in Zürich (or have it forwarded, but I planned too much travel in Switzerland to make this a useful option)."
