Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas."

In addition people at info terminals are disorganized and not kind at all.."

Not fun!!"

I fly with all big airlines like American, Delta, Lufthansa, LOT, etc"

Miinukset: "Super tight seating on the plane. Terrible customer service at checkin in Lanzarote. there was a weather issue the day prior and hundreds of travelers were stranded. The baggage belt was backed up and therefore the staff couldn’t check in more travelers. This, we learned, not from the staff, but from walking around and noting the stacks of luggage etc Far better would have been for them to inform the 200 or so people that were waiting in line for 1 hour. You must pay for anything on the flight. A small bag of peanuts or such would be nice."

Miinukset: "The flight left MIA almost an hour late, and the captain didn’t say why. We arrived an hour late at LHR. I had fifty minutes to change terminals for a connection. What other international carrier operates a hub with international flights leaving from two distant terminals? If my connection hadn’t been late"

Miinukset: "No service until 20 minutes before landing (over 2 hours into flight) by which time all sandwiches had run out. No time to drink coffee before landing!"
Plussat: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"
Plussat: "First international flight. In flight entertainment was fantastic, plenty of new movie titles to view along with music, all complimentary. Staff was hospitable and frequently came by to reduce lighting and offer food and refreshments. I’m about 6’3” so my only complaint was no room in the middle seat but otherwise it was ok. I made it work."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed for almost an hour after boarding which isn't the end of the world but to sit on the plane is worst than waiting for it. They had one disabled customer who screamed all night and to be honest, again, not much you can do about it but it kept everyone awake on an overnight flight. Would've been nice if they had handled the customer."
Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

This was not the right thing to do and we are still not home. We are now stuck in DC, have no clue where our luggage is. BA has provided no information. Not sure why they even have a call line."
