Food options should be better for vegetarians
Literally spit several of the food items out rather than eat them. Utterly revolting . Worst meals I’ve ever had on Qatar airways. Seats cramped and uncomfortable. Headsets were nasty hollow sound making it unpleasant to watch movies and had to use high volune just to hear at all.
A long haul flight needs roomy and comfortable seats.
Take off and landing the smoothest I have ever experienced,. The crew were awesome and their overall services excellent.
Both outbound (on 12/06) and inbound (today’s) Qatar flights were late. The delay today made me miss my connection and added 7 hours to my 30-hour journey making it 37 hours of traveling! Very disappointed with Qatar.

It seemed as if last minute, a few different flights were combined into this one which lowered the quality."

Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Miinukset: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."
Plussat: "Cabin crew service was very good. Flght with Airbus 350 plane was really comfortable and quite. They put extra care for kids and babies and all of kids get gift bag with toys, chocolate etc. which makes everyone happy Especially kids. I personally like to watch new release movies and enjoyed to pass my flight time."

Then told that we won't be getting on until 7am the next day, but only really started boarding at 8:30am. By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

Miinukset: "-my seat did not recline, which I understand that I was close to the emergency exit but the person in front of me could still put their seat back way farther than they should be able to and I was unable to do simple things like put my glass of water on my tray -I had a vegetarian meal which was literally just rice and ground up brown mush-I have no idea what that much was -I asked twice for new headphones because my was broken but they forgot -When the flight attendant was coming around with water and she looked me to see if I wanted any and I said yes, she just skipped over me. I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

Crew was super friendly. Pilots were super drivers. Flight was short, so no food or bevies and no free wifii (but I slept anyway).
We thought we were booking Lufthansa with more room but found out both ways were with United . We were going on a 10 day cruise with 9 stops. United never put our bag on the initial plane and never got it to us. We are home still without our bag. I would definitely NOT recommend them. They ruined our dream vacation.

No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔
When I arrived at the airport I checked my bags in and they gave me piece of paper and told me to wait and someone will come get me with the wheelchair. I am 84 and this was set up when I purchased my ticket. My flight was at 4 . I have waited an hour for someone to show up after 3pm . After that I was told I won’t be able to board the plane because it’s too late. What a mess! My bags were taken! I ended up taking a another flight few hours later . When I arrived at my destination I found out my bags are missing. Again! I am 84 all my bags were checked in . I am not able to carry heavy items . I don’t have my belongings, my medication! This is was horrible , horrible service . Not only flying somewhere it’s stressful as it is these days and then this! My flight was over 10 h plus all the time I spent at the airport that was freezing cold ! Again I am 84! This was a nightmare. Thank you Lufthansa for making my trip hard to forget.

As I was waiting for the dinner to be served it took more time and I felt asleep watching a bad movie, so I missed dinner when I finally woke up. This is the reason I have no opinion about the food. My sole complaint is about the general practice in all airlines that they serve first the slim minority that does not eat meat. Democracy means that the majority should be served first. Unless the airlines consider the vegetarians as some kind of sick people! 2. The crew didn't offered us enough liquids during the flight and the excuse that they didn't wish to disturb our sleep is too lame."

Miinukset: "My passport was stolen on the overnight train I took to get to the airport. It wasn't until I was off of the train that I went to grab my passport and credit card and realized my tiny little purse was gone. I had to rush to the US Embassy, get a new passport, and then rush back to the airport. I didn't arrive until 40 minutes after my flight had left and I was a nervous wreck. Unfortunately Lufthansa staff could not care less. The guy at the ticket counter even looked at my new urgent passport that had the issue date listed as today, so clearly this all had just happened as it was only 10:50am still. What did Lufthansa do? Well they told me if I wanted to fly out the same day, I would have to pay 2700 Euro additional! My jaw dropped and then he said I could fly out tomorrow for an additional 675 Euro instead. I was still in shock as I felt like I had just been taken advantage of with my stolen passport and credit card and now it's happening again. I asked if there was any way he could find something cheaper and he said that I paid so cheap for this flight that I would need to speak with the agency I booked with to help me out more and then he dismissed me. Let me have you know that I booked this fare during an amazing sale that Lufthansa was having and I booked it directly through their website and now it was being held against me. There was no offer to pay something like a $200 change your flight fee. Instead he let that plane leave with an empty seat because I didn't have the 2700 Euro to pay him. Here I was, alone, nervous, in a foreign country, and I had to get my thoughts together the best I could and I immediately started looking up my own flights. I ended up having to book a flight with a different company and just forfeiting any kind of credit that Lufthansa would have applied to their overly exorbitant priced flights. Good job Lufthansa for being the worst customer care service I have ever experienced... and I have flown over 20 airlines and over 100 flights."

They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Miinukset: "We needed to place special request on vegetarian meal, couldn't do it at booking or at checkin, was told to let crew know, they said it's too late. They brought us an "unclaimed" vegetarian meal, but it wasn't, it was Asian halal meal with lamb! After I let crew member know wmy husband was served meat instead, she denied it and said "its not possible" as the wrapper says "vegetarian". I informed her it actually said "Asian halal", she the proceeded to say, well, "i am sorry if it's wrong, but I gave you vegetarian". That said crew member collected my husband's plates while I was in the bathroom and came back later with a "vegan" plate that they now have available."

Miinukset: "Could not have been more uncomfortable on this long flight. I am a normal size/weight person who practices yoga and if I was miserable, I can't imagine others who are larger or not in great shape. Those seats are like being in solitary confinement...but with 200 other people. Ugh."
Plussat: "After 4 hours of sitting on Tarmac and in lounge, they finally told us that the flight was cancelled. Better safe than sorry. Hotel, dinner...."
Miinukset: "7 hours of uncertainty. Having to re check in at midnight after the airport ordeal. Mixed messages about check in, baggage location, 400 people all showing up at once this morning to check in, having not been able to print boarding passes."

Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."

Dear Sir, The flight was delayed for 2 hours. After 2 hours the flight was cancelled and KLM was trying to transfer us to another flights. Unfortunately there is no flight to Manchester which led us to cancel our flight booking with KLM and rebook with Qatar airways to catch the flight same day. Regards Amjad Juma
The actual flight was ok. But was a mess before departing AMS. My previous flight was late, so missed my connection in AMS. Then I spent over two hours getting things settled to get another flight. I was unable to complete my request online, and no one at KLM in AMS wanted to help. They kept giving me the run-around until I finally convinced them K was stuck without their personal help. It added a lot of stress (and about 5 more hours of transit time) to my overall journey.
I do not know how, but, rude crew and counter personnel is here, rest of things looks pretty standard without any difference with other airlines, that was not the case in the past
Delayed flight, it is noticeable airplanes noticeable aged
Almost the only airline that offers free coffee and bread even in short 1 hour flights
Overall a pleasant flight.

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Was a problem check in with the internet .had to wait to get to Cophenhagen to check it to my flight to Chicago
I booked through Kayak, trusting them. But they used one of these cheap online travel agents - Chatdeals. When I missed my flight due to a 3 hour train delay that was out of my influence, Chatdeals refused to rebook without a fee. SAS couldn’t rebook either. So I was stuck and lost the flight. Had to buy a complete new one. Never book through kayak or one of the cheap ones. Always airline direct! Expensive lesson learned… 🙂 Jan

I had to call the SAS headquarters in Stockholm before receiving any guidance on what to do next. All service attendants ditched the ticketing desk leaving one poor employee to answer questions for over 70 disgruntled passengers. Very very very poor communication. Luckily I was finally able to book a flight using another airline after waiting on hold for 20 minutes with the regional customer service provider."

Miinukset: "I was upset that neither Kayak nor SAS provided any information about our ticket being a basic, basic ticket, by which I mean, did not include any checked luggage allowance in the price of the flight. I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."

However, this year, because of my children, I found myself on this airline again and had a very positive experience. The flight was on time, luggage was transferred without a hitch, the food was excellent and in-flight entertainment had a great variety to choose from. The 747 provided a very steady flight experience. Personnel were reasonably helpful. Continue this kind of service - it will help you remain successful."

Miinukset: "Boarding via bus to plane was an added hassle The cabin temperature throughout flight was uncomfortably cold On each trip I have made with BA ( 6 in last year USA to U.K. and Spain) lack of overhead luggage space is always an issue. I paid 65 pounds for an extra check-on small suitcase, yet I couldn’t even put a small holdall in overhead because others had whole suitcases in there. This needs to be re-evaluated!"

Miinukset: "Security was slow, slow, slow and confusing. Arrived at gate after boarding had started. Did not like having to pay for a mediocre cup of coffee. Seats were not very comfortable and very cramped - and no, we are not overweight."

Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "There are no outlets for charging on this outdated flight and the seatbelt were dirty with crusty food. The TV was surprisingly tiny...like the smallest I've ever seen. The check in was also awful. The person that checked us in had no mercy. He made me shift around my bag for .8 kg"

BA baggage reps never told delivery service the hotel room I was at was registered under another name. BA baggage reps gave me miss information each time I spoke with them."

Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Plussat: "The BA admitted fault and paid for my hotel since Due to the multiple check points I missed my flight while at the airport."
Miinukset: "There was no food provided on the flight from Sofia to London. Food was available to purchase but only with a credit card, while I had just cash so I could not buy food on the plane at all. The worst was the transfer between flights-security lines at Heathrow were long, my carry on luggage was checked a couple of times. I got to my gate 20min before takeoff, but the boarding had finished and the gate was closed. I missed my flight. How could BA not figure out a way to get me on that plane? I was just a transit passenger, I will never fly through Heathrow again. Lufthansa is a terrific airline, they always figure it out how to get you on the plane even if you late in transfer."
Miinukset: "That the flight was delayed and we had to run to make our connection. The flight attendant reassured us that we were making up the lost time in the air and there was going to be no issues."

Plussat: "Efficient staff, quick boarding of passengers, staff went the extra mile to verifiy that my puppy was safely being transferred from another British air plane and then I watched through the window as he was boarded on my flight to AMS. Caring employees directed my attention out the window, prior to me boarding. A happy sight watching my puppy boarding my plane. Comforting!"

Miinukset: "I have never had such little legroom as I did on this flight. It was thankfully short, so I can't complain too much."

Miinukset: "Cannot get on with the layout of BA business class - there is not sufficient room for me to lie flat (I'm only 6'4), the person next to you is uncomfortably intimate in the face-to-face layout, and there's no way to get out of a non-aisle seat without disturbing the person next to you."

Miinukset: "London Heathrow security from my incoming international flight to my connecting flight was hostile, confrontational, and bewildering. Layout of terminal is ridiculous, with far too many chokepoints for foot traffic, far too many people, too few public seating options. Felt like a prison."
Miinukset: "The flight was cancelled. Very poor organisation. Lack of communication. Our rights were not explained to us and no information material was made available. No reason was given for the cancellation. The flight was rescheduled to the morning at 7am and then again rescheduled at noon. Still to be seen..."
