If you are stuck with a ticket that doesn't include bags, call SAS an add bags $35 per bag. Do this at least 24 hours before departure.SAS is the only one that can add the bags, kayak is unable to add bags after purchase."
Plussat: "Everything about the flight was fine. Boarding, flying and retrieving luggage were all standard and went smoothly."
Miinukset: "I was upset that neither Kayak nor SAS provided any information about our ticket being a basic, basic ticket, by which I mean, did not include any checked luggage allowance in the price of the flight. I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."

Miinukset: "The SAS Supervisor at the gate permitted all preferred-level economy class ticketed passengers to board irrespective of the amount of their carry-on items - in some cases as many as three different items and many over-sized as per the measuring box located at the gate walkway, before conducting a bag-by-bag weight check on all the remaining economy ticketed passengers. Any carry-on item over 8 kgs was refused access to the airplane, and had to be unpacked at the gate in full view of other passengers to remove all electronic devices or breakable items, prior to being left with the gate agent to be placed on the plane as checked luggage. This procedure was conducted in an officious and highly non-customer friendly way, and was embarrassing to those passengers who had to "strip down" their single bag, in particular for female passengers who had overnight clothing and toiletries. A more practical and customer appropriate approach should replace such a draconian procedure."

Plussat: "The automated kiosks made it ridiculously easy. Flying out of LAX can be a pain, but that went by so smoothly. I'm cheap and have become accustomed to Spirit airlines. So when I received free (decent) meals a complimentary bottle of water and a plethora of inflight entertainment."
Miinukset: "We were to fly from Bergen to Oslo, and then from Oslo to Stockholm. However, the flight from Bergen to Oslo kept getting delayed, so we were eventually put on a direct flight to Stockholm from Bergen. But for the 5 hour delay, we were given a food 'dinner' coupon that could have only bought a slice a pizza which we felt was extremely poor. Expected a better compensation for the long delay."

Miinukset: "Requested water and flight attendant infromed me to go to the back and get it myself. When I did go to the back, both were on their mobile phones. Would hope to have water go around more frequently instead of me having to go to the back and get it myself, especially on a long flight."

Miinukset: "There was a cranky man flight attendant that took the joy out of the trip. Example: he was asking for our trash and he took my water bottle and smashed it in front of my face not once but twice. All the othe flight attendants were lovely . Also the seats are crammed into the plane. I had the passenger in front of me lean all the way back the entire flight -- just to try and reach something off the floor was impossible because of the tight space."

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed due to operational issues, not weather, and eventually required a new plane at a new gate, and there was very little information provided about why or when we would actually be leaving. When a flight is delayed that long, US carriers usually offer free drinks onboard as an "I'm sorry" or put us up at a hotel. We were so late at our BnB that our host had to leave a key in a flowerpot for us and couldn't show us how to adjust heat, use the stove, etc. Really horrible communication and customer care."
Miinukset: "We missed our connecting flight and were sent to spend a night in Germany."

Miinukset: "The boarding procedure could be better organized. Also, I don't like the idea that even water has to be purchased with a credit card."
Miinukset: "Boarding was ridiculous! The gate was significantly too small for a number of passengers that needed to board. There were no clear announcements out how to organize ourselves therefore it was complete chaos with no one knowing where to line up. The crew was the most ridiculous!!! I sat four or five rows from the back and was Peerview to all of their conversations about their hair, about their schedules, about your “valued guest”, about their shifts, about Batman, about anything and everything during the time the plane dark when your “valued customers” were supposed to be able to sleep. It went on and on at a volume that was just absolutely not necessary or professional. This was the least professional crew I have ever experienced and I travel extensively! Comfort the Cabin was freezing cold entire time. I bought a blanket which did basically nothing! Was it Oliver twist blanket before hand? The free blankets I get on other lines with the chill out significantly better! Food and drinks was nonexistent which I suppose is the new trend cutting service for profit. However it should’ve been clearly stated to passengers, that we can prepare for the 11 hour flight!! Entertainment it was nice that each seat had a screen, however the selection of entertainment was poor! For example each TV series only had one episode available."

Miinukset: "No legroom, thus very cramped for an overnight flight. Wish we had been given a seat on the aisle - there were some empty ones on the flight. I ended up using one for awhile halfway thru flight because center was so cramped."
Miinukset: "My wife and I made our reservation 4 1/2 months in advance. We were notified of an airplane change and only upon my further investigation and telephone calls to Norwegian it was apparent that we no longer had seats we had reserved. As a result we were stuck in the last 2 seats in the rear of the plane. Extremely disappointed with Norwegian. Richard and Sharyn Klassen"

Miinukset: "They announced a 10 minute delay, which lasted for two hours without passengers getting any information, and had to take the bus a long way as the plane had somehow ended up at the other side of the airport. Then once boarded, we sat on the tarmac for at least 30 minutes."

Plussat: "I am 94 years old, and my daughter in law was able to get me a wheelchair while we were standing in line."
Miinukset: "inefficient movement of lines for check in. you needed more people checking the passengers in for their flights. and if you have bags, it is a nightmare as you have to go to a separate line to do so. did not pay $45 for an airline meal - seems outrageous to me."

Miinukset: "I did not like that I had to pay hundreds of dollars to change my flight because I had gone to the wrong airport. While I understand that it is my responsibility to have that information, it was simple human error (having flown into a different airport) that lead to the mistake, which should have been forgiven seeing that I called the airline, and informed them of the mistake. As the customer, I feel that the airline is not responsible for such mistakes, but do believe that there should be room for good will and customer service. The fact that the airline was not willing to help to make a change affordable (I was quoted $600+ to make the change) sadly is what determined if I will continue being a customer, and rely this airline. I won't. I also did not like that every other item during the flight had to be purchased as most other international flights include these expenses with the purchase of the ticket. Again, I understand that the airline has it's policies, but you might want to try seeing it from the passenger's perspective rather than just from a monetary one. Having to deal with such costly changes at the last moment of my trip was very unpleasant; I almost didn't have enough money to get home. These are my thoughts/suggestions/reflections on my experience with Norwegian. - Ms. Clark"

Miinukset: "A little delayed before boarding. We took off 25 minutes late (1sr flight) and 50 minutes (1nd flighr) But it seemed it was because of paperwork."
Plussat: "CHEAP but nice."
Miinukset: "I missed my flight waiting at the wrong gate( there was another flight to Stockholm, my connecting city, being conducted by another airline) I did not notice until it was too late. The airline neglected to offload my checked luggage, refused to do accommodate me with a change fee and now has lost my bag and has no idea where it is."
Plussat: "It's a very nice plane, everything seems new and updated. I like that the cost of the flight didn't break the bank."
Miinukset: "I don't like that I had to pay for food (being that it's an international flight 8 hours). It's the first international flight and the first flight ever that I've had where they didn't at least offer you a drink. I also didn't like how phony the baggage system was. I had to pay 65 dollars for one bag...because I paid it at the airport vs paying it online. And last but not least I wasn't satisfied that I wasn't able to check in online beforehand, the line was ridiculous."

I’m generally not down for ‘budget’ international flights - without adding the $60 meal service each way they don’t even offer you a water, let alone a coffee. I had to ask for water in the back and they were stingy about giving it out insisting they had to go in little plastic cups, very inconvenient."
Miinukset: "Hot pile of garbage of an airlines. Charge you for everything - food (which is still gross), bags over 10kg. Newish plane but seats on top of each other in economy."
Plussat: "I LOVED the entire journey and embrace the pay as you go model for economical long haul travel!"

Miinukset: "Six hour delay. We boarded the plan at 4:30am after waiting in the airport since 7pm. They just gave us a $17 meal voucher. Plane didn't have blankets because they didn't have time to load them. Had to pay to check a bag even though it was an international flight. Just the worst experience ever. I'll pay double to avoid this next time."
Miinukset: "See above. I will not choose Norwegian again if another airline is flying that route due to the ridiculous buckle and dining for food, blankets etc. it makes it way to expensive to travel with a family"
Plussat: "Buy tickets early for super cheap, or pay more last minute. Fly no-frills for cheap, or pay for perks. Norwegian Airlines' model works for everyone."
Miinukset: "The crew could have been more attentive. They forgot to bring a coffee I ordered through the system and ran out of milk."
Plussat: "The engine purred like a kitten. Seats, free videos, easy access to order drinks & food w tap of your finger. Friendly, courteous greets you w a warm smile. Spacious airplane."
Miinukset: "Norwegian airlines needs to tell their customers that their luggage was left behind in Stockholm. We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("

Plussat: "The crew was reasonably customer-friendly and the individual entertainment options made long flight easier, and economy class at the back of the airplane was as comfortable as can be expected."
Miinukset: "The pre-boarding and boarding experience was dismal, with extended delays requiring leaving the gate area accompanied by vague explanations and conflicting instructions about when to return to the gate, when to expect an update, and how to expect the update to be communicated. Instead, ground agents were rude and blamed passengers' confusion on us rather than their own lack of coordination and communication among themselves."
Plussat: "The new plane, clean, on time"
Miinukset: "I asked for a refill of a glass of wine and it was denied. I found that very stingy. The flight from Oslo to Fort Lauderdale was packed with kids and the flight attendants had no control over them, running around, disturbing everybody and they just wouldn't stop. Very annoying."
Miinukset: "Boarding process at Arlanda airport in Sweden was a giant confusing mess. Everyone got herded into two different boarding areas and there was little explanation on what was going on."
Plussat: "The crew was great and accommodating. There were plenty of options for in flight entertainment too."
Miinukset: "If I had to nit-pick. The sandwich was about 95% bread,"
Miinukset: "Flight left from Budapest 2 hours BEFORE the time we booked the flight for - didn't get any notification, nothing!! Airline confirmed it was their fault,but my m missed her connecting flight and we still don't know how to get a refund for that... This is totally unheard of and unacceptable."
Plussat: "My coat was stolen inside the flight, nobody from the airline was able to help. very poor service"
Miinukset: "no real effort or offer to be compensated we are still with cold temperatures here in Sweden - Holland, my coat goes missing in the cabin and the only explanation is, this could happen to anybody!"

Miinukset: "Our luggage did not arrive with the plane, we were not informed of the situation and waited for at least one hour before a passenger was told the luggage was left behind. The luggage did arrive after 90 minutes, still no explanation from the Vueling"
Plussat: "Absolutely nothing"
Miinukset: "They overbooked the flight and would not let us on even though we had tickets because we did not check-in that morning online before our arrival to the airport. They re-booked us for another flight that had a connection but it kept getting delayed so they made us re-check our luggage 3 separate times. When we finally made it to the connecting city (Barcelona) that next flight was delayed from 9 pm departure to 11 pm to midnight and then to 2:30 AM with no confirmation that the flight would actually take-off. There was no one that could offer us help or give us answers as to what was going on, all employees were very vague and kept telling us they couldn't tell us anything. We spent 14 hours that day in the airport for a flight that should have taken 1.5 hours. They gave us 6 euros each as compensation and that was it. To put in a complaint to get your money back is very difficult. Their website is often down and they make the form very specific online so that if you type something in lowercase letters it won't go through. I will never fly them again and strongly suggest you don't either."

Plussat: "Spacious, punctual, friendly"
Miinukset: "Airport advertised the flight was leaving at 12:10, but our pass said 12:00. We took the advice of the AIRPORT and missed our flight. In addition to missing our flight we had to exit the airport to re-enter and BUY NEW TICKETS for another flight. Would never recommend Vueling or Barcelona Airport to anyone."
Miinukset: "the flight was extremely late leaving Palermo which made my wife and I mis-connect in Rome. This was unacceptable since there were no weather issues. The plane was just a few minutes late arriving into Palermo, but it was extremely late leaving for Rome. There didn't seem to be any sense of urgency to get the plane boarded. People were boarding the plane up to 45 minutes after the plane should have departed. I will try to plan better and use Ryanair in the future."
Miinukset: "You take money from my card and you send me confirmation when I go to the counter they said that I don't have any reservation I will complain about that you are the bad company ever"
Plussat: "We got to our destination smoothly and a few mins early."
Miinukset: "The seats and space on the plane were extremely small, there was no space to breath or sit. The seats did not recline back. There were no complementary drinks. The shuttle to the flight had way too many people. We had to print our boarding passes before checking in or we would be charged 15 Euros."
Miinukset: "Seats uncomfortable"
Miinukset: "The most horrible experience Iv'e ever had with flights and airline! The staff lied to us and wanted to keep us in Granada - they lied and said that our flight to Tel-Aviv from Barcelona was cancelled and that we need to stay another night in Granada and fly the next day. After we insisted on flying to Barcelone anyway (although they said they would not take care of us and all hotels in the city are full because of the weather conditions [which was a lie - it's summer and the weather was fine]). When we got to Barcelone we saw that our flight to Tel-Aviv was not cancelled! We only had 30 min because the previous flight was delayed in 2 hours so we ran and went on the plane. Of course our luggage did not arrive...."
Miinukset: "Apparently Vueling, Iberia's cheap cousin, saves a middle seat in row 1 and charges more. A lot more! I was pressured in Helsinki into letting Swissair, the contracted boarding agent it seems, fill that seat, 1/2 of which is what you get for paying 'business' in a plane that has all economy seating. There was no logic or ability to board before economy and indeed my boarding pass stated economy. The woman that was added to the oversold seat got intoxicated and was half in my seat. I will never fly this again and it's not worth the stress to fight for some refund but I was taken advantage of with charging me a 300+ euro seat for this joke of a flight in a "better" level of service."
Miinukset: "I was forced to check in my carryon bag because it was over 3 kg. So I checked in my baggage two full hours before departure and the layover was three and half hours. There should be no reason why my bag didn't make it on the plane and yet it did not make it on."
Miinukset: "I called Vueling to see if I needed to pay for my stroller and he said yes. When I got to the counter I was told that I didn't have to pay for the stroller. So I asked for my money back and they said no. That was B.S."
Plussat: "Did not communications belligerent passenger"

Miinukset: "They were get 6th disorganized at check in and boarding."
Plussat: "On time, friendly service and ample room on the plane."
Miinukset: "seats were really tight with little leg room. A long walk from security to the gate"
Miinukset: "Really not the same quality/level of service."
Miinukset: "Plane never left. Bused us to Bilbao, missed our flight to Porto. Have to wait in Barcelona for hours. Flying us to Vigo, Spain then ground transportation to Porto., 11 hours later."
Miinukset: "Staying in airport for six hours"
Plussat: "Wonderful service, very helpful and friendly staff. This was my first time. Definitely will fly again. Thank you."

Miinukset: "Flight took off late...someone in seats.. luggage did not arrive with plane... we were told different things.. were given wrong gate number.."
Plussat: "on time, great boarding, comfortable seats and above all... inexpensive"

Miinukset: "I was checked in at Rome to the correct destination - Barcelona - and at the correct departure and arrival time but on a different flight number (than on my itinerary) and told that my baggage could not be checked through to my final destination. Baggage claim at Barcelona is a hike and Aer Lingus is in another terminal - I made it to Aer Lingus check in with 4 minutes to spare."
Plussat: "ALL BUT THE MILD DELAY"

Plussat: "It was a quick flight from Rome to Munich at a good price. I loved that my checked bag was free. Very pleasant and helpful person at the check-in counter. I will use Vueling again when I'm in Europe."
Miinukset: "My flight from San Sebastián to Rome stopped over in Barcelona. The flight from San Sebastián was late, the connecting flight from Barcelona was over booked so I was told I had to wait 12 hours for the next available flight to Rome. That replacement flight was again late, and I arrived in Rome too late to catch one of the busses into town so I had to pay $60 euro to get to my hostel! Not only that, but despite being told my baggage had been changed to this later flight I arrived to find out it has not arrived and was likely left in Barcelona! Shocking services, I intend to actively recommend to others never to fly with this company! I am still yet to receive my baggage and the number provided for contact does not work."
