Miinukset: "The difference here is that in a 9 hour flight you want to keep hydrated. Crew seemed lazy...they would not bring water to travelers very often...and when I called a flight attendant with the button call and politely asked if I could have some water, she seemed pretty annoyed and told me I can just stand up and go take my water in the back where they store food. NOT A GOOD SERVICE FOR $2,500!!!! It’s outrageous!! Seats become smaller and smaller...and you keep asking about my experience...$2,500 to travel seating in a miniature seat with no leg room is a bit much...and I know no flight company cares about this...we have no choice...either take that or don’t travel, right?"

Thanks for this we didn’t miss our flight. Also this Lufthansa flight Miami- Munich was one of the best planes in terms of cleanliness, comfort and quality."
Plussat: "The hospitality crew that was at SFO gave us the location of a lounge to go to which closed at 8 pm. The time they gave the location was at 8.25 pm. She was uninformed and not very highly trained. Lounge was disgusting. Messy, crowded - seemed like a 2nd class waiting room in an Indian railway station. The boarding was very poorly managed by the same lady!"

Miinukset: "The plane was full of immigrants and they left a HUGE MESS everywhere. Half eaten chocolates, wrappers, cups and you name it strewn all over the floor and aisles. It was disgusting to sit through 10.5 hours of. Somehow though, they knew how to watch Baywatch."

Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."
Miinukset: "We made it to the gate from our connecting flight at 1pm, flight was supposed to leave at 1:10, we got to gate after RUNNING from gate A to Z just to be told the plane left. After researching, we found out the plane didn't depart until 1:43pm. Horrible horrible service. Will NEVER fly with Lufthansa or into Germany."

Plussat: "It was my first time using the upper deck of a 747. The setup is pretty decent with lay flat beds (I still couldn't sleep though). The attendants were all very nice. The food was much better than on my inbound flight on United..."
Miinukset: "The entire experience was ruined by one hour spent on the tarmac in Seattle, waiting for a gate to become available... This is lame not only for the passengers but also for the people waiting to pick them up. The selection on the entertainment system was limited."

Plussat: "Extra legroom, pillows, headphones, and blanket provided. I liked that I had my own screen. Snacks and drinks were offered in between meals. Water constantly available which is important for hydration on such a long flight."

Plussat: "I witnessed the flight crew defuse a conflict between two male passengers (that had escalated to shouting and throwing each others belongings out of overhead storage) before we left Frankfurt. A male steward showed he could be professionally stern when backing up a female coworker handling the situation and compassionate when he comforted an elderly woman in distress halfway through the intercontinental flight. The entire crew I interacted with in economy class were professional, friendly, welcoming, and helpful."
Miinukset: "Boarding the entire plane at once was inefficient and caused conflicts over the availability of overhead storage. Obviously this is an airline decision and not a flight specific problem."
Miinukset: "No seating area at or near the gate we boarded at, and as boarding was delayed, many people ended up standing for some time because we did not wish to wander too far and then be late for boarding."

Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."
Plussat: "Crew worked hard to make the journey pleasant, including the second crew for my connection to New York JFK, a much longer flight. Even some of the food was edible."
Miinukset: "I am writing to you because of the poor service that I experienced with your Operations Manager in Vienna, Paola Contestabile. I travel internationally four to five times a year for the past decade and I have never had such awful service as for my Lufthansa Flight 2329 on Jun 14th under confirmation #62RZK3. I was on my return flight to the US with the exact same carry on baggage that I had left the US with a week earlier- a roller carry on and a backpack for my laptop. This is my standard everywhere in the world that I travel and have never had an issue. I bought a painting on my trip and checked it in. With regards to my carry on, Ms. Contestabile was insistent that I could only have one piece for carry on. I told her to get the baggage rules and I would read them to her. I am a trained lawyer and value the meaning of words and rules. I explained that I am allowed one carry on and a personal item. She argued that my backback is not a personal item and that only a "laptop" is a personal item. I again explained that my personal item was my laptop bag, the same way a purse is a personal item for a lady. She finally relented and allowed me to pass through security and passport check. I assumed that this was the end of her confusion. Little did I expect that while sitting by the gate waiting to board the plane, Ms. Contestabile would emerge again and declare in front of all of the passengers that I would not be allowed to board the flight if I did not check my backpack. I told her this is unacceptable, since she had already cleared me. She said she had changed her mind. I found this response to be ridiculous. When I asked to speak with her manager, she refused to allow it, stating "I am the manager today." Ms. Contestabile even went to the pilot of the plane and convinced him that I was a "safety concern" because I wasn't following her ridiculous interpretation of the rules. This is a pure abuse of power and a threat to true safety when a ground crew member can make such a false and baseless accusation. Luckily, a woman passenger overhearing Ms. Contestabile told me that she could not believe the way she was treating me and offered to carry my bag for me. I am requesting a formal investigation into her actions and appropriate disciplinary procedures to ensure Ms. Contestabile is not allowed to threaten another passenger again."
The connecting flight was way to tight to get through security with out running and cutting lines.

Miinukset: "Boarding procedures are a disaster. The plane arrived early however there was not a gate available for 45-60 minutes. Removal of the bags for customs inspection also took over 45 minutes. We then missed our connecting flight Out luggage made the plane but we didn’t!"
Plussat: "I notified the crew that I would have a very short time upon arrival in Madrid to catch my connecting flight to Santiago. They transferred me to a seat close to the front so I could disembark faster. That allowed me to reach the gate as the boarding began."
Miinukset: "The company handling the check-in for Iberia is inept. The line reserved for baggage drop-off was used to prioritize check-in for a large group, making the benefit of online check-in meaningless! Also, the supervisor who intervened on my check-in issue lacked basic customer service skills!"

Miinukset: "The only thing I was a bit disappointed was with the meal. I don’t eat red meat and requested it theough the website, but nithing special was arranged and I ended up eating pasta. Pasta is fine and I love it, but people that don’t eat meat need to have vegetables added to their meals, or at least an egg. And for breakfast the only option was a ham and cheese sandwich, so I didn’t eat."
Plussat: "The seats were good and for once I felt like I had enough leg room. The entertainment consul had a good selection of movies and tv programs."
Miinukset: "The attendants were not very attentive and I eventually had to ask for a customs form since I never received one. I feel like long international flights should offer food without having to pay for it, whether or not it is a "discount" airline."

Miinukset: "There was very little legroom in economy class. I was thinking for an overseas flight the would be more than 31 inches pitch of legroom, Mabye the can work on that on such a big plane."

Both British airlines and Iberian airlines posted conflicting information as to the flight cancellation, hence affecting hotel reservations and proceeding flights. The whole process has been a nightmare. I will have serious reservations booking future flights with either airline. Very disappointed !"
Plussat: "I liked the Crew they were very patient with all the passengers. They were bunch of really annoying kids in front of me and handled them very professionally."
Miinukset: "I didn't like that I could not control the air in business class. I spent good money to sit up there and I would expect to have control of the air because I had a 11 hr flight in a 90 degree plane. It was really a uncomfortable. Also I didn't like that their was no sporting events or cooking channels to watch on my flight and the movie selection were horrible."

Britisk airways cancelled our return transatlantic flight LGW to JFK and the Iberia (one world) representative Alicante airport could not help us getting on another flight we now are landing in LGW and have to transfer to LHR at iour own expense and are getting to J FK almost 4 hour later than scheduled...spenrt over 40 minutes on phone with British airways at international cell phone rates which also cost us a fortune"

During this time the air conditioning was off and it was too hot. The crew was very rude and nowhere to be found most of the flight. I was extremely thirsty and crew was upset when I asked for water"

Plussat: "Upon boarding the flight attendant looked at my seat # and directed to to the correct side of the aircraft. I found this to be very helpful, since on the trip over I was in the wrong side had to bother people to move so I could get to the correct side of the aircraft. Travel can be very stressful, this made boarding quicker and easier."
