Miinukset: "My flight was delayed by 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight in Singapore. There was a huge queue of people who missed their connecting flight cos of an accident in the runway. The airline did nothing to prepare for this situation. It took hours to get another flight organised, communication was non existent and refreshments took ages to come. Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."
Plussat: "More leg room than other airlines, superb service and excellent food!"
Plussat: "This time I made the mistake of flying with my kids (4 and 6). The flight or them was last minute (booked less than 8 hours before take off) so there were no pre-planned kids meals etc. The in cabin team were awesome! They made sure they go a choice of meals, that they had things to do, that they were enjoying the flights. This on top of the usual awesome that they have."

Miinukset: "Our flight to Bali was cancelled due to the volcano eruption. We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

Plussat: "For medium range flights SQ uses A330s. Business class is really OK, not great. Each passenger can freely choose any configuration of the seat without inconveniencing others. Food is great, both in presentation and taste, and serve with refined courtesy... I will gladly fly on this aircraft again on my way back."
Miinukset: "The entertainment system has literally hundreds of choices -- many, many movies for all tastes under the sky. But there is one drawback. Each movie starts, not when you are ready, but when the system is ready ; you cannot pause, resume it, no fast-forward..."

Plussat: "New aircraft Airbus 350-900 - has lot of leg space even in economy class. Food was just OK, nothing special and far from what SQ used to serve to the passengers. I was very disappointed finding out that travel pack consists only toothbrush and tootpaste with socks included. No more slippers, eyes cover and no more other necessities for intercontinental flights ! What a shame for SQ to save the money on such important things for passengers. Staff was over indulging, someone would say - fake kindness shown ..."

Miinukset: "The food could use some work. It is still better than most other airlines but not as good as most high schools. However, you will not go hungry because they make sure that you stay and hydrated on their flights. I do dislike all the dogs that are allowed in planes. Now flights have babies crying coupled with dogs barking. Takes away from the overall ambiance that Qatar tries so hard to achieve."

They refused to accommodate me for a 19 hour layover with a complimentary airport hotel stay, claiming there was an earlier flight--that was still 12 hours away, that I would have to pay to book anyway. Pure scam to get you to pay to upgrade your flight, pay for hotel or be condemned to stay in there airport for a whole day. Never ever again! Don't fly them!"
Miinukset: "I planned a wonderful vacation for my birthday only to face a horrible experience. Not only was the flight uncomfortable, but my television did not work. There was a huge box underneath the seat in front of me which prevented me from stretching my legs outward. The television was on but the screen itself wasn't operating. I reached for the remote located in the armrest only to find the entire piece missing. Only the base was there. I asked the flight attendents three times if I can move to an empty seat and they said "give me a moment". The moment never came. I really expected more from this airline."

Miinukset: "- Tiny, cramped seats and aisles. I'd heard the Quatar has more leg room than other airlines. This is definitely not true. If the person in front of me reclined all the way, they crushed my knees and I'm only 5'7". - Bathrooms were dirty by 4 hours into the 14 hour flight. Sinks clogged, garbage can overflowing. Not just one bathroom. Gross. - Worst flight attendant service I've ever had, and I don't expect much since I've traveled a lot. Service was rushed, coffee cart for our side of plane never arrived, when I walked to the back to ask for some, they couldn't find the milk and made a fuss about looking for sugar. Lots of similar examples throughout the flight. - The baggage claim carousel number never appeared on the screens at IAD after landing. Other flights showed but not Quatar. We waited a while then walked around to check them all until we found the right carousel. Never seen this happen before. - One of our bags never appeared, so we waited until all luggage had come out and checked with the counter. They found our bag somewhere and brought it over after a 20 minute wait. No explanation given. Good thing we'd counted bags."

Miinukset: "What other snack options available other than Ramen Noodles. Maybe a low carb option is needed. There are some noodles made from soy products and these will be low carbohydrate. Seats in economy are ok for short people. All airlines should designate an infant seating area close to toilets. This way all infants will be restricted to these seats and the noise pollution in the aircraft is restricted to a small section of the ship.these seats can be specially configured to either seat a no rmal adult or a fast attachments for a baby carrier."
Plussat: "Overalll the flight was okay and the company crew is very helpful!"
Miinukset: "The only problem is if you need to go in the first flight at 6am to Hong-Kong.... they will only open the check in at 4:30 and usually you find a big waiting line. You won’t have time to do anything stead check in, go directly to inspection, after to migration to finally go straight ahead to the gate to hopefully have time to enter in the flight... to tide"

Miinukset: "Flight arrived from SFO 15 min late, and airline cancelled numerous connecting flights to various cities, including mine to Hanoi from Hong Kong. Offered to rebook 10hr later with 40 HK food credit. Happened to my uncle and cousins 1 month earlier on exact same legs. Would not recommend any layover with this airline in hong Kong for less than an hour. Numerous phone calls from me to sort this out, which resulted on another carrier to Hanoi."
Plussat: "I was told there would be WiFi on the plane from Chicago to Hong Kong. There was not. Very disappointed. It was hot and not a lot of air circulation. And the seats are hard."

All I wanted for food was no meat; I didn't expect it would have no ice cream and no real food. I should've, could've taken one of the options on the food list and push away the meat myself."

At the airport they were very helpful in getting me onto another flight, as my flight had been delayed, which in turn would make me miss my second flight. All the cabin crews were very friendly. I think that the people that work for Cathay make up for a lot of what Cathay lacks in other aspects."
Miinukset: "There was not enough information about the flight delays and the causes for these delays. It was a little stressful and rushed as my layover in HK was quite short. The boarding process could be a lot better if people were boarded according to rows. Food on most Cathay flights in general was pretty disappointing. It would also be great to have wi-fi on the flights. Especially considering how long some of the flights can be."

I thought, until the organization was seen. Ground staff were no where to be seen. Eventually found them huddled at one arrival gate directling passengers to buses. Other passengers at the other arrival gate similarly swirling around without info or help. staff unhelpful, rude, uncaring. SHOCKED by level of incompetence."

I would have liked a flight attendant to tell me that from the beginning. * There were tons of disposables in use for meals. I brought my own silverware and water bottle to avoid using disposables, but it would be nice if they found some solution to that. * This is a small thing, but every time there was an announcement on the PA, the audio on my movie would drop back down to the default level (i.e., inaudible). I had to keep raising the volume and rewinding to catch up what I had missed."

Miinukset: "I wanted to look out the window while flying over Greenland but we were asked to keep the window closed for sleeping passengers. That view of the northern sea and ice cap is Phenomenal and not to be missed if at all possible!! I wanted to wake everyone up to watch it and they could go back to sleep later...;-) Boarding also took a long time...we left 30-45 minutes late."

Miinukset: "I'm a wheelchair passenger, which was a DISASTER in Istanbul!. It took nearly an hour to get to off and to passport control. And on the plane, it was very uncomfortable because of so little leg room. To get out of the window seat to go to the toilet was as bad as it gets, because of row in front with reclined seats - only possible to scoot across in sitting position. Not easy....!"

They were patient and calm, never losing their cool when the passengers were demanding or spoke negatively towards them. I applaud the Turkish Air staff for their flexibility."

Their was nowhere to sit I spent the majority of 8 hrs on the floor beside a rubbish bin. Staff of turkish airlines did not listen to questions asked and just repeated information that was already known. Did not attempt to listen to what was been said to them. There was over 50- 100 people in line for the turkish airline counter in the 8 hrs I was at the airport. The staff did not attempt to organise this line, and it became a crowd of pushing people. I am extremely unhappy with the ground staff at Istanbul airport. they were rude and disorganised In the airport its self there is no free wifi and call cards cost $15."

Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

I was given a seat assignment at the gate, however I didn't like the uncertainty of not knowing wether or not I would be boarding until the last minute."
