Long delay, minimal crew engagement but comfy plane.
Dear Sir, The flight was delayed for 2 hours. After 2 hours the flight was cancelled and KLM was trying to transfer us to another flights. Unfortunately there is no flight to Manchester which led us to cancel our flight booking with KLM and rebook with Qatar airways to catch the flight same day. Regards Amjad Juma
Last minute change of aircraft from Amsterdam to Mexico City made our seats different and not as comfy as on the 787-900 planned. Crew was a little bit snippy and not as friendly as I expected on Aeromexico. KLM crews are fantastic! KLM food is not so much for their short-haul flights serving these salad vegan boxes.
A l'enregistrement à punta cana il a fallut négocier pendant une heure et demander à parler à un responsable car la personne voulait nous faire payer nos deux bagages en soute 200 dollars alors qu'ils étaient compris dans notre réservation. Cela nous a fait perdre du temps avec notre petite fille de 3 ans. L'escale de 2h à New York est trop courte, les files d'attente sont très très longues pour le contrôle des passeports et aussi pour la douane. Il a fallut négocier avec beaucoup de personnes pour demander à passer devant, et aux États-Unis cette pratique n'est pas du tout appréciée, et tout ca avec ma fille dans les bras. Nous sommes arrivés 30 min avant le décollage àla porte d'embarquement, juste au moment de d'embarquer, mais le vol a finalement été retardé d'une heure. Et enfin nous avions demandé à été placés ensemble côté hublot, à l'enregistrement on nous a dit oui évidemment mais au premier vol on était même pas à côté ( il a fallut négocier encore une fois) et au deuxième nous étions dans la rangée du milieu. Bref ce voyage retour à été très stressant et épuisant !

Customs at CDG airport was soooo slow we nearly missed our connection with maybe 3 minutes to spare.
Miinukset: "Air France’s apathy towards its customers is shocking. Traveling with three children , our flight was delayed by 3hrs resulting us arriving in Paris after 1AM. With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."

Because I had a connecting flight to New York in London, the check in caused many problems...and everything inside soaking wet"

Miinukset: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Miinukset: "After running due to a 1 hr 10 min change over between flights boarding didn't prioritise anyone but I got on fine. Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."
Plussat: "The crew were nice."
Miinukset: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Miinukset: "CDG is a monster. The distances are long . The signage is poor and when I asked for directions the diirections I got were wrong."

Miinukset: "The airlines didn’t even notify the passengers with the connecting flight. As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Plussat: "Leg room is bigger than average, there is also a foot step which helps you to relax."
Miinukset: "There must be lice on the plane, either from the customer or on the seats. Got bitten 6 times on the leg and butt!!! And this is not the first time hearing same story, Air France definitely needs to disinfect the plane more thoroughly. Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"

Miinukset: "The chairs, for whatever reason, after just not that comfortable. Too squishy and they make noise when you adjust your position. I fidget a lot on flights so I felt like I was making a lot of noise. Also the plane didn't have cold air, do you get toasty pretty quick."

there was a delay for over 3 hours due to fog this is toatly acceptable, beacause of flight safety but since the fog was not unknown why we were boarded and than had to wait on plane without option to go back to the terminal the boarding was on foot so there was cnot supposed to be a big problem to get back and than reboard

Miinukset: "My special assistance required lift off plane which didn't happen so I along with people on crutches had to try negotiate way down steps in the wind & rain."
Miinukset: "Very unorganised, one person checking in luggage, long queues, two flights mixed together. The boarding gate was really badly organised, passengers being held in a very small space to wait for a bus, the buses were late. Priority boarding wasn’t being checked so everyone was being sent through into the holding space which was about 3 metres by 7 metres standing room only. The plane was late."

Plussat: "All but one crew member where excellent. But the one girl. Made it perfectly clear that the passengers where an annoying part of her job not a pleasure. She had a sour face on her all flight. Everyone was talking about her."

Miinukset: "Flight departed late due to high winds (not the airline's fault) but the result of leaving late was a missed departure slot. To avoid passenger disturbance, they told everyone that there was an extra passenger on board? Not the best way to defuse a situation..."
Plussat: "Boarding was quick and tickets are very affordable."
Miinukset: "Seats do not recline. No place to charge phone. No WiFi."

Miinukset: "65% of customers had priority so a bun fight to get on. We then tried to use the faster entry on non priority to get into the lounge and were sent back to the priority queue. families with kids weren't given the option of getting on first. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of space for bags."

Miinukset: "Width of seats was far to small, the seats covers are dated and gruby, the queing process for standard and fast track was a shambles. Checking in was slow due to there being only 1 desk open for a full flight."

Miinukset: "Plane seats are very uncomfortable. I thought it was just me on the way out but it was as bad on the return and even my husband was complaining of being uncomfortable. The seats made this journey seem much longer than our 9 hour flight to Florida earlier in the year and the backs of my legs still haven’t recovered from yesterday’s flight. I am 5ft 1in and the seats are too high off the floor and too deep for my legs to be comfortable and not have too much pressure in the wrong place. They need foot rests to allow legs to be raised and pressure eased."

Miinukset: "Non stop talking regarding selling you food and drinks. Then perfume and jewelry, then scratch off tickets. Then donate to a kids charity. No magazine in my seat to see what food or drink options they had . No seats even had a space for a mag or your iPad. Seat pretty uncomfortable."
Miinukset: "Had to pay $60 to check in because we had booked the flight after Aer Lingus canceled two of ours in less than an hour. It was good we got the flight and I will give kudos for that because we had to get to Manchester before our other flight took off, but we were surprised at the high price to have the person check us in if we didn't do it online. Lesson learned."
Miinukset: "Seating uncomfortable, don’t even serve water, charge money to check in 3 days early and for some strange reason they charged 100€ for standard carry ones manufactured by Samsonite for international travel because it didn’t fit in their standard cubby ... the same carry ones they allowed from London to Stansted became a tad too big on return . They remind me of US traffic police that start giving tickets on tiny issues st the end of the month to make their quota . Also many people in the line had bags exactly our size"
Miinukset: "Central Naples to Central London lasted 16 hours door to door! No proper explanation is given as to when to expect the flight to depart even roughly. People were kept standing up, waiting. Vouchers given for refreshments were valid in two places, one of them outside the airport! Somebody who couldn't use her voucher wanted to use it on the plane and it was not accepted."

Miinukset: "I received a message instructing me to check-in online and so I did. However, I need ver received the screenshot of the boarding pass or an email for that matter. When I try to check in at the counter they had me go to the other end of the airport and pay 20€ for them to "print" the boarding pass. What a racket!! Never again."
Miinukset: "The airline called the passengers to stand up in line over an hour prior to boarding. Most of the wait was done indoors, while the last 15 min or so were spent outside, waiting for the plane and watching as the passengers from the flight that just landed were getting off.. immediately after they all got off, our group boarded... no one cleaned the plane... never flying Rayanair again...."

It’s saves you some peace of mind purchasing priority but the seats are cramped and I just found it to be a blah experience"

Miinukset: "The whole luggage handling is a nightmare. If you fly with just one luggage, be prepared to have to take everything you care from it and hold it close to your chest, as Ryanair will probably try to check your luggage."

Miinukset: "I bought a coffee just minutes before boarding and was told I could not take it on board and had to drink it all immediately, scolding hot and everything. When I walked onto the plane, I found a fellow passenger peacefully sipping her airport-bought brew with no sign of reprimand from the Ryanair staff. I only ask that the rules be applied to everybody or not at all."

Miinukset: "I was not informed online that I should use the App via my phone to check in as a US passport holder. The online portal only told me I had to check-in at the airport."

Miinukset: "The fees and policies are ridiculous! Pay to print a boarding pass, pass for bags, pay for each thing in a different line. In order to do this, get to the airport 5 hours early, or you will miss your flight!"

Plussat: "Decent if you're ok with the baggage restrictions. They checked individual passengers' carry on. Liked the low prices. Prompt. Took me to my destination and that's all I needed. Before you book, check the extras you'll want and adjust fare price."
Miinukset: "Didn't like all the add on fees but that's why fare is low. I was ok with the minimum and just added early check in with assigned seat and fee for 1 checked bag. Don't expect any extra frills."
