Plussat: "Check in was simple and efficient, boarding was easy, leg space was sufficient, air hostess where polite and plane was clean prior to take off. Landing and take off both on time."

The toilets were not even once cleaned in a flight of 4 Hours, meaning that by the final hour, they were a complete utter disaster in terms of hygiene. When the check-in kiosk said to get assistance from a rep, the reps told me they could not move from behind their counters. The TSA people people were worse. They treat passengers as if they are dogs, never saying please or thank you, but giving commands in condescending tones to people."
Miinukset: "We were unable to find a row of seats to more comfortably facilitate traveling with a baby and a toddler as seats that should have had a cot or extra seating didn't have the cot and were sold out for an additional fee before we had the chance to. Discussing this with the staff at check0in and at the gate, made no difference as they had no knowledge of what was available on that particular flight. Every time I fly with American I'm reminded of why I don't like the airline and I will do my best to avoid them moving forward regardless of competitive ticket pricing."

We were 50 minutes late leaving. This resulted in many of us either missing or having extremely tight (stressful) connections at CDG Paris."

Diverted to Stuttgart, where no BA staff was on the ground to deal with and all services had already closed (~00:30). Basically ~50 customers were dumped at a place they didn’t want to be and no info on his BA wanted to deal with it was given. After 1 week still no info on compensation. And this wants to be a major carrier?"
Plussat: "Mediocre experience on the ground; much better in the air -- competent, pleasant cabin crew."
Miinukset: "It seems amazing to me that BA will leave 50 First and Business Class passengers standing in line while they pre-board "families with young children". Some of the families had children who were 7 or 8 years old and certainly had no need for pre-boarding; its just an opportunistic way of jumping the queue. Similarly, some of the "elderly" passengers who claim to need pre-boarding on departure spring to their feet and dash down the aisle on arrival. Air Canada boards Business Class first on this same route; I'm going to migrate back to them, as virtually everything else on the two flights is comparable."

And to top it off, the suitcase I was made to check never made it on my connecting flight to Chicago. I am still waiting for it to be delivered 36 hours later. This suitcase is virtually empty. Well, it's actually carrying a pair of sunglasses and my phone charger. totally inconvenienced and the crew saved the plane from being dangerously overloaded by an empty suitcase. Absolute nonsense."

Plussat: "I thoroughly enjoyed my flights. Boarding was efficient and well-conducted. Seats were quite comfortable, I felt. The entertainment systems included plenty of content; movies allowed for different tastes, and there were other options. The crew were thoughtful and responsive to specific requests or needs. Blankets and pillows, earphones and announcements were useful. It was possible to sleep, but also, to stay awake if necessary. The flight arrived in good time, and was de-boarded efficiently as well. The menu was sufficient, although the tarragon chicken was underwhelming: the pasta dish was quite nice. The coffee was not great, but drinkable. I appreciated having actual milk for the coffee."
Miinukset: "The gates at Heathrow are not announced until one hour before, which can mean a long trek to arrive in time for boarding. Also, at IAD, there's a lot of queuing and navigating passage systems both to get to the plane and to arrive back. I liked the new kiosks for the entry to immigration/passport however."
