Miinukset: "We waited in the plane on the tarmac for 3-1/2 hours waiting for the plane to be de-iced before take-off. I understand that there is nothing Lufthansa can do about the weather, but they (or the Munich airport) need to have more de-icing machines. It is ridiculous to have to wait that long."
Miinukset: "When purchasing tickets on KAYAK be very careful to notice you often ARE NOT buying the ticket from the airline and any issues you have will be with the reseller and not the airline. KAYAK should be more clear about who the seller is and you should ABSOLUTELY stay away from resellers unless you like to gamble."

Miinukset: "App or website didn’t work for check in. Lines at the airport were very long. The flight was over booked so I didn’t get a seat until at the gate. Overall too much hassle. Food options in the plane were horrible for vegans/allergies"

Miinukset: "My bag was lost, exsept close I lost life-saving drags like insulin and other. I not live in Finland and don’t have there my medical record that can go in farmasy without medical prescription to buy medicin. Today is my 70 years burthday. This is a good present to celebrate. Thank you"

Miinukset: "The food was ok. I didn’t sleep on my 10 hour flight because there was an infant in front of me who screamed most of the flight. It’s time to create a “Family Area” for those fling with small children. It became a burden in everyone in the vicinity. Not what I paid for."

Miinukset: "While missing a connection happens sometimes, Lufthansa was particularly dreadful in handling the situation. Hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of travelers were not informed about what was happening with their connections, or given any guidance. This all arose from around an inch of snow in Frankfurt. It caused bedlam at the Frankfurt airport, which the Lufthansa staff appeared utterly unprepared to deal with. This is our second very bad experience with Lufthansa."
Plussat: "The flight was very smooth, take off off & landing. The crew was polite. Although they kept calling me sir when I am a woman."
Miinukset: "There were minimal new movie choices. A lot of old movie movie options. The food was terrible! Definitely need to step their game up here. I also didn’t like that the customer behind me kept bumping my seat every time he moved or made a movie selection."

Miinukset: "Too close for getting on as 3 passport checks seems redundant. Munich has very little signage to direct anyone. We do not live there so do not know the language."

Miinukset: "I was very upset that from Kuwait to Frankfurt I paid in sir net but the speed was very bad . It's not fair to pay 15$ for that it's not fair. And I ask my money refund! And again they saying that speed is very good for watching YouTube and video streaming! Why Lie?? IT IS NOT FAIR!"

Miinukset: "My passport was stolen on the overnight train I took to get to the airport. It wasn't until I was off of the train that I went to grab my passport and credit card and realized my tiny little purse was gone. I had to rush to the US Embassy, get a new passport, and then rush back to the airport. I didn't arrive until 40 minutes after my flight had left and I was a nervous wreck. Unfortunately Lufthansa staff could not care less. The guy at the ticket counter even looked at my new urgent passport that had the issue date listed as today, so clearly this all had just happened as it was only 10:50am still. What did Lufthansa do? Well they told me if I wanted to fly out the same day, I would have to pay 2700 Euro additional! My jaw dropped and then he said I could fly out tomorrow for an additional 675 Euro instead. I was still in shock as I felt like I had just been taken advantage of with my stolen passport and credit card and now it's happening again. I asked if there was any way he could find something cheaper and he said that I paid so cheap for this flight that I would need to speak with the agency I booked with to help me out more and then he dismissed me. Let me have you know that I booked this fare during an amazing sale that Lufthansa was having and I booked it directly through their website and now it was being held against me. There was no offer to pay something like a $200 change your flight fee. Instead he let that plane leave with an empty seat because I didn't have the 2700 Euro to pay him. Here I was, alone, nervous, in a foreign country, and I had to get my thoughts together the best I could and I immediately started looking up my own flights. I ended up having to book a flight with a different company and just forfeiting any kind of credit that Lufthansa would have applied to their overly exorbitant priced flights. Good job Lufthansa for being the worst customer care service I have ever experienced... and I have flown over 20 airlines and over 100 flights."
Plussat: "Crew worked very hard to accommodate us."
Miinukset: "Was seated in a section with many noisy infants. I could not sleep or even hear the entertainment system sometimes. Not the airline's fault. People should know better than to travel with infants. I felt sorry for the crew."

Miinukset: "Terrible food quality. Zero leg space. The Newark terminal is ancient & fire alarm went off for over 20min before boarding."

Miinukset: "Flights were late and boarding was caios, no one had any clue what to do. Blankets were filthy. Entertainment had limited choice. Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Miinukset: "flight was late, check-in people were mean and angry to everyone, instead of serving the food straight away since the overnight flight was delaed and then quickly turning the lights off, they waited until 3 hours in to serve food, which meant they didnt turn the lights off until well into the night and only gave us a couple hours to sleep. there were no new movies on board except for batman vs. superman. food tasted weird even for airplane standards. pretty bad overall. i've had better experience with virgin, united, or air france."
