Plussat: "On time, efficient."
Miinukset: "Food is becoming more and more of a joke on Lufthansa, gone are the bad sandwiches, now it is just sweets."

Plussat: "The crew was very professional in their manner and went the extra mile to make sure the passengers were happy and comfortable. Wine was free and they offered a Baileys with coffee service that was a nice touch."

Miinukset: "Flight was very delayed in Munich due to a shortage of land and handling crew. Very disappointing. Everyone I know who takes this flight complains about the same problem. Arrived in Geneva around 21:00, 1 1/2 hours later than anticipated time of arrival."

Miinukset: "Requested assistance in Budapest for my 84 yr old mother that walks with a cane for the Frankfurt airport and Baltimore. No one showed up. Lots of walking at Frankfurt and having to board out on runway up all the steps was not easy."

Miinukset: "At Budapest Airport only one check-in desk, #1 was shown on the big board for this flight and the airline Lufthansa was only shown above the check-in desk #1, which was dedicated for First/Business and M&M Gold status travellers only. Many economy class passengers queued there and at the end they were all redirected to check-in desk #3, as that was designated for Economy class passengers (however not any Lufthansa sign was shown above. When I mentioned to the ground crew (Celebi) that they should improve signs and not mishandle travellers, the person in charge (Nikolett Magyar) said to me arrogantly that they are right, and nothing they would do to improve the signs and passengers' information. This is far what I expect from LH representative, even if subcontracted and not an employee. That behaviour made my journey sour as travelling - especially with not a budget airline - is not just getting from A to B, but an experience which is worth to remember for good reasons, but not certainly for bad ones."

Plussat: "My flight from Budapest took off hour later then scheduled. We landed in Munich only ten minutes before the international flight's take off to San Francisco. Upon the Munich landing, eight of us were escorted on a special bus, with a special pass controll and on special routs to make sure we get on the plane on time. Our laggage managed to get on the same plane as well. Thank you Lufthansa!"

There were no efforts to assist me in locating my connecting flight, to set up any accommodations while at the connecting flight's airport for the additional 4 hours of waiting time, no apologies for making me late for wedding rehearsals (I'm the officiant!). I had to actively seek out the ticket counter for another airline, through which my connecting flight was re-routed."

Plussat: "We checked in online into row 12 without any error messages about the fact that kids cannot sit there. When we arrived at the airport we were given different e.seats and we could not sit together with our kids."

Plussat: "Lufthansa has us on a short connection in Munich. But instead of bumping us like Air Canada, which does not care about customers, Lufthansa got a little van for our family of 5, took us through expedited passport control and helped us reach our flight. They have done a superb job and it is great to see an airline that has a very capable ground crew as well as air crew. Lufthansa made us feel like they cared about us and trust me traveling with three kids under 6 we very much appreciated it and they will have our return business!!"

Miinukset: "Just a small thing the lady who was serving and picking up the used cups said I have to finish the juice and after she can take it away. But I couldn’t finish because it was too sweet and I didn’t like the juice. So I had to get up and bring the cup to the back. That wasn’t nice. Also they at but flexible about giving choices. Only one kind of sandwich they had but I think there was one other kid also."

Plussat: "I never try Austrian airlines because this trip was my first trip with them and I'll say that it's one of the best trips I ever had the airport at Vienna it's very small and easy to go anywhere you want and it's super clean and the stuff at the airport are very helpful and they all speak English and I was able to get a hotel room with walking destination from the airport and it was a very good experience overall I'll definitely recommend to anyone and I'll definitely keep them on my top list"

Miinukset: "Very strict carry on policies, much strictet than US carrieers, primarily by weight. Known traveler numbers (Glibal Entry) were not askrd at the time of online check in and ad a result, TSA Pre didnt show up on out boarding passes. Agent at the counter coulsnt dix it euther. Surprisingly, very disappointing breakfast."

Plussat: "I'm so happy I did not book Austrian Airlines for the way back to Zurich."
Miinukset: "My checked in baggage did not arrive with me, the staff told me it'll arrive the same day in the evening but it did not and nobody informed me, I only found out after calling them 5 times (which 2 times they hung up on me after putting me on hold). My bag only arrived almost 35 hours after i already landed Hong Kong, without being able to tell me when exactly and made me sit and wait for them to deliver it at mid-night."

Miinukset: "Well, it was all messed up by kayak and priceline. I clearly stated in your search engine I want flight with checked baggage, for which you gave me results. What a unpleasant surprise at check-in to find out it was super expensive airticket with only 8 kg of carry on! You are confusing people on purpose, I cant believe your service! And I was loyal customer for years and years. Well, time for change."

Miinukset: "My flight was Dec 11 at 8:00 from Budapest to Vienna. And from Viena I have to fly to Minsk. So on Dec 10 at 10:00 pm they send an e-mail to let me know that the flight from Budapest to Viena is canceled. I am glad that I decided to check my e-mail before I go to bad. So I try to call Austrian, but they work just from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. I start to search all the info the site of Austrian, and find one phone number that seats be working 24 hours. So finally I got a person on the phone who was able to help me. ..."

Miinukset: "Our flights there were postponed causing us to miss out connecting flights, we rescheduled with a different airline. The same thing happened coming home. Austrian was a complete disappointment going there and back."

Miinukset: "Our flight was cancelled at the time we were suppose to board. We had to find another flight via Istanbul and got to our destination 6 hours late. Won't use Kayak again."

Plussat: "I would suggest to make up some how for my lost as I had other problems derived from missing my United Airlines but so far every body has been very understanding. For example selling me a new ticket at a special price or with some benefit - I WILL NEED TO FLY TO VIENNA AND KIEV AGAIN WITHIN 6 MONTHS - otherwise; I doubt I would ever buy a Austrian plane ticket again. I AM FLYING ON POLISH AIRLINES RIGHT NOW OCT 25TH."
Miinukset: "When I try to make the change of itinerary on Austrian Airlines on the selling web page, they told me to contact the Austrian Airlines, so I did. The Austrian Airlines lady who told me that I would just lose my tickets and that I could not even pay a penalty to avoid such thing, was very VERY RUDE!! As the Austrian Airlines did not offer me an option but losing my plane ticket,"

Plussat: "The flight was nowhere near full, which was terrific. The crew were excellent, polite and attentive. Everything was on time."

Miinukset: "€40 for a single 12 kg checked bag--that could have been gate checked? Seems excessive to this traveler."

Miinukset: "The flight from Budapest to Vienna was delayed so we missed our connection to Tel Aviv. The behavior of the ground staff who were supposed to assist us was outrageous. They behaved like a low cost company with one answer to any request, and this is the word "NO". It does not seem logical that we ever go with Austrian again. We do deserve a compensation for the delay and the behavior."

Plussat: "Ok flight' late leaving from Vienna because pulling luggage when passengers missing,."

Miinukset: "Flight from Budapest to Vienna was too hot and the AC was not working properly."

Plussat: "The staff from service center helped me to solve problem with my flight, it was short connection, around 35 minutes, and I missed my aircraft, but in the service center gave me ticket to the next flight, The problem was solved."
Miinukset: "Boarding in the first flight was late for 15 minutes, but may be it has some objective reasons."

Miinukset: "very tight connection in VIE after a small late departure from LHR but we make the connection."

Miinukset: "Flight cancelled, after delays... Then almost four more hours to get rescheduled in a different flight the next day and taken to a local hotel!"

Miinukset: "The boarding in Budapest was not efficient. The gate was not announced until it was almost time to board. Hurry-up for me who arrived at the airport in plenty of time to avoid rushing. But I indeed had to rush because of the late gate posting."

Miinukset: "United did not honour the seat assignment that Airfare.com gave me so I sat in a middle seat. But the entire seating plan on United is so bad it should be a violation of the anti torture convention."

Miinukset: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Plussat: "She was cheerful and genuine. I have dietary restrictions but was unable to preorder a meal. She went out of her way to find an available meal for me. I also saw her bring other passengers extra snacks and drinks."

Miinukset: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Plussat: "had problems checking in , in that I was charged for a suitcase! I have since checked my paper work and found thad that I had paid for a case! I will follow this up when I return to the UK"

Miinukset: "The Guy who had an accident when boarding causing a delay. Also I didn’t like the wait fir checking as passengers with children went before business class and should be after."

Plussat: "The very dirty plane was cleaned at Dar-es-salaam and became less dirty. The pilot kept us updated periodically through the flight. The flight attendants were very pleasant."
Miinukset: "The plane was very dirty when we landed in Dar-es-salaam. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Miinukset: "There weren't too many options. The movie selection was very limited and the tv show were over 20 years old in some cases"

Nice skin products and omg, clean bathroom. Easy to relax."
Miinukset: "The Asian vegetarian meal is rice and chickpeas! Was not too bad but also my breakfast was more chickpeas and grilled zucchini. I never requested a "vegetarian breakfast" - feel bad wasting food like this. I sent the veg salad back opted for fruit salad croissant."

Only food service was on-board bistro, which sadly I slept through because I was exhausted from getting absolutely no sleep on their crummy transatlantic flight... There are no 'zeroes' to give, so can only give a 1 star poor rating on food, entertainment and comfort. Crew, again, tried in the face of a crummy airline."

Miinukset: "The service. 3 hour late flight, had to rebook my connection out of my own pocket. After we got on the plane, we find out the issues were not fixed and had to wait another hour. Terrible food. Yogurt was actually expired, so I had no breakfast. People were all nice as they told me I should have booked the flights together. Hmmm... Maybe you should not have been 4 hours late. I planned my trip with more than enough time to make connection... Called about my travel insurance and found out it kicked in after 6 hour delay. Customer service should never make you feel like the issue is your fault."

Plussat: "There was a flight attendant who was perfect for his career-absolutely the best ever on the Rome to Philadelphia flight-a tall, African American gentleman. So accommodating and friendly!"

Miinukset: "I have asked repeatedly for the airline to give out the boarding passes and check bags at least three hours before the flight. Between long lines, security checks and a limited amount of time from when we get our boarding passes, one can not enjoy Budapest Airport!"

Miinukset: "Flight left 4 hours late due to mechanical problems with a very , very old plane. I paid extra for an exit seat that (bc the plane was so old) had cold air seeping in that even with 4 blankets on, a sweater, my jacket I was frozen the whole flight and caught a terrible cold that I have now had for a week."

It was only compounded by the fact that when we were landing, another attendant insisted I put seat completely upright, and when I told her it had been broken the entire trip, she began forcefully shoving my seat. Not awesome."

Plussat: "Overall I was very pleased with your level of service and would highly recommend SAS airline for anyone traveling from New York City New Jersey area abroad ! The planes were new clean and the level of service was exceptional . I am in the Hotel hospitality industry as an executive corporate chef . I enjoyed the service of your steward wearing the chef jacket ,, very impressive."

Miinukset: "All airplanes are 2 Noisy. (Of course this is not the fault of SAS). I use noise canceling headphones that helps a lot. EBut the background noise level always strikes me as too much!"

Plussat: "I chose SAS since I have used this airline on most of my travels to Norway. It has been without any problems and I highly recommend it. The staff all try to make you comfortable and do not hesitate to get whatever you ask for. I have no plan to change plane. Thank you."
Miinukset: "I do not like the way they conduct their business from the office. I know they are very busy like any other airlines but please return our calls and answer questions as we are fully entitled to their attention using their airline. . Thank you."

Miinukset: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."

Miinukset: "Small, uncomfortable seats which is tough for a long fight."

Plussat: "I flew SAS from ewr to wro and back a d can't say enough good things about the company. The crew was very friendly and always smiling, the flight was quick and arrived early, the plane was very clean aND overall just great experience. Next flight I'll be looking to book with SAS. Miinukset: "There was a delay because of a software issue. They had to shift people around manually because of it. Baggage Fee was extremely high (> $50)"

Miinukset: "1) on the plane, they announced a choice of two meals and I enquired why did I get one without choice and they told me the second choice was an option only for 'economy plus' !! That was a rude situation....I felt cheated and then insulted . 2) CPH - Nice : The breakfast or the included orange drink gave me an upset stomach and bad case of Hemorroides. 3) I accepted a glass of tomatoe juice and when I asked for a coke with my lunch , the stewardess said I had only right to one drink and would have to pay the rest....really ? - wine used to be free and now a glass costs $4...really ?? 4) I arrived at CPH airport for my transfer .. the flight was yet not on the screen but no one gave any instruction and no officials of any kind were around to enquire....a cleaning crew finally directed me correctly. 5) the security line in New York to board was ridiculously long...someone shouted to take off our smelly shoes...really ?? 6) most were directed to the right with four snaking unending lines to one security check . From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."

Plussat: "we landed 20 minutes before schedule"

Miinukset: "Bag drop line was over 45 min. Only 2 attendants. Flight was late taking off. Baggage fee was outrageous. Site said 1 free bag, but that is carry on only. Checked bag was €70!!!! The flight was only $85."

Miinukset: "When purchasing the ticket there was no mentione that bagage was NOT included something which I assume when flying with an All Star airline. Ended up paying an extra 70 € for my luggage - not happy."

Miinukset: "I understood I could check one bag. Nope. Checking one bag cost me $67. So much for saving money."

Miinukset: "It was very difficult to understand from the reservation or the website if I need to pay extra for a checked baggage. My emails weren't answered, and when I finally realized that I did have to pay - it was 85$ for one suitcase!!!!! SAS - are you out of your mind?! The suitcase cost more than the flying ticket! Sorry, but no SAS for me anymore. BAD BAD service and exploiting of customer's naivety. I'm furious."

Miinukset: "We boarded late. There was no boarding announcement. A guy walked up in front , as to wait for the announcement and she waved him up. The rest of the gate just started forming several lines. Very unorganized. The we sat on the plane for about a half hour. At least there was an announcement that two people were missing so they had to remove their luggage. 40 minutes late into Longyearbyen."

Miinukset: "I and my 2 children, 10 and 8, thought the dinner was really bad. Also, entertainment selection was lacking. Other than that I thought sas did a great job with the flight."

Miinukset: "instead of cophenhagen to boston, i was re-routed copenhagen to gothenburg to munich to frankfurt to boston.... the cancelled flight was on july 6 2016; i arrived home more than 24 hours behind plan i spent at least 5-6 hours in lines, went thru security 4 times....."

Miinukset: "My wife requested a vegan menu as she has allergic to chicken and egg, and it was accepted a week before the flight. But a normal food was served to her, so we said to the crew to change the meal. She, the crew, said "we don't know the request, we don't have more vegan meal." She didn't apologize about that, additionally she requested to show a confirmation number with an arrogant attitude. Anyway we asked to bring a vegetarian meal, she brought it, and we asked her if it contains egg (sometimes seasoning contains egg). She said she would check and come back soon, but she never appeared. What a rude crew she was. What an unsophisticated system the flight company has. We were so disappointed."
