The flights themselves were absolutely fine, no problems at all. The situation at Doha airport was chaos with no one sure of where 'transfer' passengers had to go. There were boards pointing one way and Qatar Airways staff pointing another way. This was very poorly handled and understandably made many passengers anxious. I managed to rush to make my flight but that should have never been a problem as I arrived with plenty of time for my flight. The chaos at the airport caused confusion and delay which were easily avoidable.
Food was not upto the mark. Boarding at Boston and Doha was chaotic. Overall experience was not up to the mark
All aspects are well managed and controlled. Nothing to complain about anything
Going to India from Houston flight delay 2.5 hr Tight connection 2 hr at Doha to Chennai. But the crew waited for the US passengers. International flight both ways drinks are restricted / limited. Whiskey they give only one shot. Sour throat and cough little more could have been better. Totally they limit on hot drinks.

We had a family traveling to SFO without wearing masks and I have to repeatedly request the flight attendants to ask them to wear their masks. It included elder people to children coughing and sneezing and my seating was amidst them. I had to request the attendant to find me an alternate seating, which turned out to be less comfortable, but better than my allotted seat.
Doha to Lax, airplane food was bland and pretty bad
Experience in IAD could have been lot better. IAD is one of the worst airport ik n terms of service. Chennai is also equally worst with too many bureacracies.

Meal preferences was good - I'm a vegetarian and on the onward journey forgot to specify the meal preference but the crew had enough inventory to meat the requirements. 3. Every seat was provided with a small plastic pouch/packet/goodie bag that consisted of a eye mask (very thoughtful), pair of sock, toothpaste+brush (very thoughtful), hand cream. This was very useful and effective. 4. Entertainment - options were good and current."

Not sure if this is something to do with the browser (tried with Firefox, Opera) 2. It would have been good, as part of the online check-in, if the users reminded to specify the meal preferences, etc. I forgot to specify the meal preferences but thankfully the crew had enough of what I wanted. 3. Take a relook at the packaging of the toothpaste tube in the goodie bag. It was sealed in such a way that it was difficult to open it w/o a sharp object. This should have been easier. 4. Seats were the worst part - poor legroom. Worst, the seat cushion is the worst. I think it was just a fabric over a metal seat with minimalist of cushion. ATL to DOH leg was the worst (and the longest leg of the trip). Unless you have open seats next to you it would be a back breaking and painful trip. Seat comfort wise, I would rate Qatar as the worst. Luckily on the return leg (DOH-ATL) next two seats to mine was empty, so was able to stretch and sleep well. DOH-MAA or MAA-DOH seating was little better (think its a older plane; newer planes have worst seats) 5. The website was damn slow while accessing from overseas. Even in the US, at times the website hangs-up, freezes or spins often. 6. Food was ok -dinner and lunch but minimalistic; I didnt see any specific breakfast menu or any coffee served separately (was part of beverage option during lunch or dinner) 7. There was no alert, communication, notification, reminder of upcoming trip via email or text, etc. Many airlines does this very often but Qatar was totally silent on it (they did have my email during checkin). Not sure why."

The gate crew in Paris was HORRIBLE. I purchased a Premium Economy seat and was "involuntarily downgraded" to regular economy, splitting up my family. There was no apology and they were very rude. And then they subjected me to an additional security check. When I asked about a refund for the difference, they simply said, "check with the ticket agent in LA when you get there." But due to flight delays, we didn't get to the ticket counter until 11 p.m. and they couldn't help me. The flight crew was astonished this had happened, and they tried to be helpful. But the whole experience was pretty lousy.

Seating comfort, coordination by staff, food, punctuality and cleanliness were all excellent. Most of the flight crew staff were courteous except one or two which maybe considered as area for improvement.
Overall experience except baggage collection in Chicago was good. In Chicago, baggages from many flights routed to single domestic carousel that had caused lots of mess and many had to wait for more than 90 minutes to collect the baggage as Etihad baggages were released in pockets due to priorities given to other domestic flights baggage
I had to change my schedule due to my dad's health situation. Etihad is not able to arrange the schedule that I need.

Etihad's "Transit Travelers" service is one of the WORST customer service desks I've ever been to. I waited in line for 2 hours. Passengers were urging to be served so they can make it to their connecting flights not knowing they have been already selected not to board those plains. Voices were raised and demands were made to speak to the supervisor. It was chaos. I made it to the agent shortly after the gate to my flight had opened. I was shocked by how the agent lacked empathy when he informed me I won't make it to the connecting flight because it had been overbooked. Not an apology or even sir! I was forced to be rerouted which stretches my 25-hour trip to 33 hours. Then the connecting flight gets delayed more than an hour resulting in missing the second connecting flight. Now my trip has become a 41-hour trip, I missed a day of work that's worth more than double the value of the voucher Etihad gave me and lost one day of unscheduled vacation. Etihad even damages my bag that had servived more than 10 flights. I will never fly Etihad and strongly recommend against flying with Etihad."

Spend 10HOURS on the phone to get on scheduled plane. BA made wrong date and was send in circles. 11houts before flight I bought different tickets to get back on time to LAX. No help from Finnair, British Airways and Kayak. Had so much stress and insanity from representatives about my flight. Kayak MUST have 24 hours live person. Was calling from Vilnius and getting machine from noon until 6pm, Vilnius time. Does Kayak knows calling rates!!! This was WORST experience ever!!!

When traveling in Spain be prepared to be tossed back and fourth between Airlines since British Airways is operated by American Airlines no one was able to check us in and the plane left without us. We were told by American Airlines too bad so sad. They little left us in Spain. I had to purchase a $3000 ticket on United to fly back home the next day!

Flight was delayed and they didn’t have any vegetarian meal options. You had to reserve online for a vegetarian meal. On other airlines you don’t have to reserve your meal restrictions. I was left starving the whole flight because they only had one meal option which was meat.
The seats in the Airbus flight from JFK to HEL were a bit uncomfortable. The layover in Helsinki airport was boring because there were no stores open in the terminal and there was almost nothing to do for 3 hours.

Plussat: "Flight left on time. Crew were helpful and friendly. Asian vegetarian meal was good. I had tomato rice, broccoli and eggplant as side dish. Toilets were clean."
Miinukset: "Breakfast was not great. I had asian vegetarian meal. I had uppuma, mini dosa and sambar and they were tasty. But I also had bread, sweet bread and a piece of sweet cake. Three kinds of bread is not necessary. Too much carbo. Please provide, vegetables like cucumber, tomato and carrot with breakfast. Also chick peas without spices and rava kesari can be served with breakfast."

Miinukset: "BA told us we could manage alone as a disabled traveller. Then when we tried to go through control they sent us somewhere different and said we couldn't go through as not reiustered disabled!! We had to register and be accompanied. Admittedly the red cross lady was excellent but we then got nothing to eat and felt like criminals. They said this was Italian law. It isn't We've been to Italy dozens of times with no problems. It needs fixing!!!!"

Miinukset: "After first class boarded, the remainder of the passengers lined up all at once. As it was a large plane, there were two entrances and it was hard for them to keep up and direct us to the proper door. It was a minot issue."
Plussat: "Despite a four hour delay the staff was in good spirits and generally pleasant. The entertainment selections were also comprehensive."
Miinukset: "The food choices were very limited (chicken curry or pasta alfredo) neither of which were dairy free."
Plussat: "We were lucky we boarded early because i had reserved the seats in Premium economy and had a baby with us. That's the only good part about the journey"

Crappy seats with shitty monitors, reclining mechanisms Crew kept disturbing us for food when we were sleeping and kept serving us the meal we didn't order. When u hit the call button no answer! Ba missed our bags stroller and car seat. Thanks but no thanks BA. No one at athe counter to answer"
Plussat: "1. MAA - Boarding - grouping should have been more professional"
Miinukset: "1. I had filled up API information & am an Executive club member. My India contact number is available on record. In spite of that I did not get SMS about flight ETD details or alert. 2. First meal was served about 1 hour after departure, which is Ok. The second meal was served after 8 hours, towards end of flight. 3. BA 36 takes off at ETD 05.30 & travels east. It is always day time as it flies."

Plussat: "I had no trouble keeping myself entertained on the 10-hour flight from London to California. There were tons of movies to choose from, and that's not even counting all the television shows that were available. It's good that there are so many options b/c there is no wifi available for purchase."
Miinukset: "Not really related to the flight itself, but this was my first time flying British Airways, and they have a policy where you can't pick your seat until 24-hour in advance unless you pay an extra fee to choose early. I thought this was similar to Southwest's early bird check-in where no one really opts to pay for such a feature, but apparently with British Airways, everyone pays to pick a seat early. I checked in to my flight literally one minute after the site opened up and there were only middle seats left. So, if you've never flown BA before and you have a long flight, you might want to pay the extra fee to choose your seat early."
Plussat: "I liked everything about the flight, very comfortable seats (Club World), great staff who were very thoughtful and helpful with our situation (disabled person). The check-in personnel at Chennai were very considerate and helpful, much appreciated. The wheelchair arrangements at Chennai were excellent. The food on the flight was very good and accommodated our dietary restrictions. Entertainment choices (movies) were quite good, too, and managed to get some pretty good sleep as well. The lavatories had green/red light system for availability, visible from our seats, which was very helpful. The lavs were quite well maintained and clean. The flight was on time. and it arrived safely, which is the main thing."
Miinukset: "The transition from the flight to the terminal at LHR was not optimal, though the staff were trying their best. The "jetty" ramp way for normal deplaning was broken, they said, so they brought a set of steep aluminum steps instead. Navigating these steep steps was not possible for some passengers (difficulty walking and with steps), so finally they called a mechanical lift device (like a fork lift) to help those passengers, many in wheelchairs, who couldn't manage the steps. We had to wait for at least 30-40 minutes on the plane for the lift to arrive and stand outside on its platform up in the air, waiting to be ready to descend to ground level. This was pretty uncomfortable and it made our connection time very short. To compound matters, once on the ground, there was a wheelchair available for only one of us, though 2 had been requested, but as on other flights through LHR, there was unfortunately not enough staff to push it through Term. 5 to the connecting flight. So, I had to do that myself, along with managing my own luggage, which was a bit challenging, as I was tired by then. Our flight connection time, already much shortened by the deplaning situation, was evaporating steadily. Fortunately, there was an excellent staff member from Heathrow, who had been assigned to push someone else's wheelchair, who guided our group of wheelchairs, complete with hand luggage and children, though the maze of Term. 5, through very busy security and finally to our gate. We would have gotten lost and even if not, would almost surely have missed the flight without this guide facilitating this trek. We made the connecting flight with barely 5 minutes to spare."
