Considering this is the longest flight in the world, the flagship flight for Singapore Airlines, and the price paid, it failed to deliver in PremEco. Side note- Early Check-In at Changi Jewel to bag drop hours early is not allowed for SIN > USA. Strike 1. Previous issues with SA's website prevented us from booking the preferred seat in the front row with more legroom. All attempts to contact SA customer support were ignored or incredibly delayed until the seat was booked by someone else. Strike 2 and 3. Boarding area isn't too special. Announcements for boarding were poor. Anyone not in 1st or Business class is definitely made to feel like the lowest. Take off was almost 1am, but they decided to serve one of two meals right afterwards while everyone went to sleep. Strike 4. Meager efforts to offer food or beverage (let alone alcohol) the rest of the 17 hours. Strike 5 Food was average, but below expectations for (again) the flagship flight / longest in world. Powder egg omelet/potatoes or chicken/fries Crew was back in my face to remove my food 4 minutes after they'd served it, since the crew couldn't wait to disappear for hours at a time. Strike 6. Not friendly, not looking to serve passengers paying top $ but quite ready to act superior to tell you what they can't do, can't serve and quick to use degrading tones to tell you to sit down, buckle up. Example 1: Would I like something to drink? Yes, do you have hot tea? We have English breakfast tea. Do you have other flavors? No. Stunning. Example 2: Captain turns on seatbelt sign due to turbulence, attendants go to the back galley and start talking. Turbulence ends, captain turns off seatbelt sign. I get up and walk to the toilets. Attendant, still seated talking to another attendant, turns to me and says "you need to sit down." Me: "no sir, the seatbelt sign got turned off, and I'm hear to use the bathroom. Pay attention and do your job". Wifi is only for upper class or KrisFlyer members. Guess what, I am... but when I enter my info, it fails to connect. Strike 7 (by the way, it isn't high-speed internet anyway Strike 8). 4 whole channels of live TV, sad Strike 9. Movie selection is average. When you're stuck in a tube for 18 hours, it needs to be spectacular, Strike 10. No personal air control, and when sitting on tarmac, there is no air... so guess what, in Singapore it gets hot and humid really fast. Strike 11. PremEco seat was one of the best I've used, so I slept longer than most flights. That was a good thing in itself, but also because it allowed me to skip more of the unpleastantness when awake. For high-priced tick, on a flagship flight of a highly-rated airlines, this was a well-rounded 17hr letdown. But arrived ontime at least.
Singapore air ticket, first flight on Singapore, connection on Scoot. Could not get boarding pass for Scoot flight at checking though booking was the same ticket and Scoot flight had SQ flight number. Transfer desk near arrival gate would not issue Scoot boarding pass. Only in terminal 1. Transfer desk in D gates was closed. Had to go to the beginning of C terminal to get boarding pass. Between bad directions and distance I lost 35 minutes getting a boarding pass. Flight had started boarding when I finally was allowed in the gate. Bussed onto the tarmac, not ideal but manageable.
Food was horrible. Flt too crowded. Dirty bathrooms.
Everything good accept food not good
My seat wasn’t comfortable enough even though I paid for it. Seafood menu wasn’t good. I was left hungry throughout my flight because I cannot eat a lot of stuff :( overall it was a pleasant flight. Passengers are pretty well behaved and less noisy compared to Cathay Pacific. There are no toilet seat papers.
Both flights SIN<-->MAN had very cold cabins. Why does it have to be very cold?

Also, due to my partner having to swap seats, I was sat on my own next to strangers. The starter (vermicelli) was overly salty, dry and severely undercooked. The main course was acceptable but the portion of chicken was more like side dish not main. Missing sides."

The entire flight was very comfortable and made the 9 hour journey from Manchester to Houston Texas fast and enjoyable. When I had trouble connecting to the Wifi, one attendant even knelt down and connected my phone manually as I was not tech savvy in this regard. The food was of much higher quality as well compared to other airlines I traveled with on this trip."

Staff was great and very helpful. But in Mumbai airport had a tough time to get wheelchair and some misunderstanding in getting wheelchair for me and for my wife. It took them almost 2 hours to give us wheelchairs
The economy seats were ok in terms of comfort. Food was terrible and much worse than on prior trips on Qatar and other middle eastern airlines.
The flight was great. As far as the food is concerned it would be great to get little things like salt, pepper a small cube of butter (when bread is provided) with the meal.
I request for vegetarian food but they are asking me what kind of food you want. Service is slow.
I am deaf & travel alone to India & back to Seattle via Doha by Qatar Airways. They did an awesome services, very friendly and helpful. Since we wear masks all the time during the flights, How can the air-hostess communicate with me? I came to an idea that we communicate each other through texting on my phone which was very helpful! One negative comment is that there are no closed captioning for English movies & dramas on TV. It need to add accessibility for deaf people to enjoy watching during their flights. I will fly with Qatar Airways again in the future.

Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

One flight attendant was amazing, 1st class although she wasn't even in business class. Somehow felt others were tired or mind somewhere else, so not really good service. Choice of food was basic, but good choice of drinks. Plane was comfortable and I think pilot was a woman, which is a nice change. Excellent that there are dividers in the middle seat in business class. Corona restriction rules, like mask wearing rules is extremely wise. Other airlines removed it, but I like better your choice better. Feels safer.
Loved check in / food / blanket & entertainmenr on Lufthansa. The seats are old and need a redo. The crew was decent just not warm. The lounge at Frankfurt took over 25 minutes to get in. Something needs to change United connecting flight crew / entertainment / updated seating was great. They could not accommodate my special meal as the only special meal available is kosher. We shd have been informed of that earlier!!

Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. It took them 4.5 hrs after scheduled flight departure time between which they told us flight was cancelled and provided Hotel Accommodations. Very sad customer handling and service. Subsequent booking was a mess too!"

Miinukset: "Very poor ground staff at the check-in counter. Made me pay 2nd bag fee of $100 at the time of check-in, despite the airline rules allowing 2 free checked bags. The staff including the supervisor were so un-cooperative and rude. The supervisor snapped at me by saying that I was not doing the airline any favor by flying Lufthansa. At that point I just gave up and paid the totally unjust fee. Took me to a back room to pay the fees, where the credit card machine and even the printer wasn't working. ...... very bad experience EVER !!!"

Miinukset: "I actually lost money because of the misinformation -- was told there was a modification on my flight details and that I had to call the Lufthansa office. I called in and was never told that anything was wrong. I kept trying to check in online and got blocked at every trial... Cut a long story short, I showed up for my Lufthansa flight to only be told I didn't have the required visa for one of my layovers... I missed my flight, got no refund for it and got zero help in finding a solution to my problem. You could do better than that, Lufthansa."
Miinukset: "Boarding was delayed. Though staff present at the gate, no announcements were made, not communicated to the passengers. All of sudden a big line to board the flight. Entertainment - when compared with other airlines, very few movies available."
The actual flight was ok. But was a mess before departing AMS. My previous flight was late, so missed my connection in AMS. Then I spent over two hours getting things settled to get another flight. I was unable to complete my request online, and no one at KLM in AMS wanted to help. They kept giving me the run-around until I finally convinced them K was stuck without their personal help. It added a lot of stress (and about 5 more hours of transit time) to my overall journey.
When boarding started, it was like refugees rushing to a life boat. Everyone was rushing to the front. Only one KLM staff standing there saying "... now is this group, yours is next,,,, we will call it out...." While he stopped some travelers, he did allowed some others passed without even checking their ticket. They have all the digital gears, and the screens to show the current boarding sequences, why don't they just use that. For some of us that did not have a excellent hearing, it was hard not trying to get closer to understanding what is going on.
Almost the only airline that offers free coffee and bread even in short 1 hour flights

Miinukset: "I ordered Wheel chair for my parents but one of them didn't get it at all. When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Miinukset: "The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat."

Miinukset: "Checking in was extensive for unaccompanied minor. But gate crew was very unnattentuve and though we showed up as first in line, they did not focus, and kept saying to wait. Ultimately our son was last person on the plane."
Plussat: "crew were absolutely delightful, full of smiles and doing everything to make you comfortable. seats were fine enough and got some work done and a bit of sleep. first lunch was fresh and tasty, but the second, a burger, was edible, but not much more."
Miinukset: "tv screens are dated so movies are not as crisp as you find in newer planes. you need a 2 prong audio adapter to use your own headphones."

Miinukset: "the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

Plussat: "Staff superb. They even surprised us with an exit row and a gift for my partners birthday! Amazing. Samantha and Dennis also took time to come and personally wish him a happy birthday. A lovely touch. This airline runs like clockwork. They are just great. The sandwich and stoop waffle are nice too."
Miinukset: "There is a bus to the plane, so that takes a bit of extra time but they are very well organized."
Plussat: "Very efficient boarding, fast and professional but warm and friendly. The plane was very clean and quite spacious for a two by two configuration. On time departure and landing and smoothed processing at the other end."
