There was a problem getting on, they allowed premium members to board but when I got to the plane, I was scolded by the cleaning crew lady (maybe the Mgr) that they were not ready and that she had informed 'them' of that and that no one is allowed to board while they are cleaning."
The flight was ok in general. The main problem is that Schiphol airport in Amsterdam is a mess in terms of having a smooth connection and layover. I had 2 hours to make the connection and almost missed the flight to Lisbon. I would NOT recommend at all The use of KLM and Amsterdam as a hub to any other city. Not at this time of caos.
KLM is never consistent with services. Sometimes you get lucky with great comfort and other times you are forced to squeeze in a box for a seat. The food is always subpar and they have become so unfriendly when you need help. But hey, they are always on time and they have good connections.

They reminded me several times that I was not a preferred customer and that I had bought my ticket through kayak. This is the reason they gave for lack of help. It was frustrating to say the least. I’m not sure how they expect to gain repeat customers if they treat first time customers like that."
Miinukset: "Everything. Our flight was delayed from our departing city because the plane was leaking water on the floor and they had to send in a special cleaning crew to try to stop it. We were not given the seats we pre picked months before when buying the ticket. The ac was broken for the first half of the flight. Then, we missed our connecting flight because of the first delay. Once we got onto a new connecting flight, it was also delayed and once again, we missed our last connecting flight and are not making it to our final destination today."

Yet the meal that was served, beef stew, posed a problem as I don't eat red meet. Since many people also do not eat beef due to religious beliefs, I am appalled by SAS's decision to only serve this dish to its economy class passengers. As I ordered my ticket through Kayak, I didn't have the option to request a special diet, nor did I think to do so as airlines generally do not serve serve a beef dish as their one and only."

Air France service was superb. The airline did their best to expedite the boarding process even with the constant changes of Covid19 guidelines
Not the best crew. Extremely annoying with mask wearing. Even when I was eating and drinking they would come up to you to tell you to wear your mask. Extremely annoying.

When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."

We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Miinukset: "The cabin on the 777-200 was far too hot (about 25c) and with no individual air vent I found this unbearable on a 12 hour flight. And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell."
Miinukset: "Delay over an hour"
Miinukset: "Poor communication. Did not know was airfrance the booking was completed with Austria airline. In the ticket was not the information. Also, airfrance could not find me in their systems I was late to board the plane. Terrible messy and confusing time for me."
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed by 1 hour 30 minutes. After over 24 hours of travel this was not appreciated. Also no lounge access at Toronto airport."
Plussat: "Efficient boarding. Interesting hot food. Entertainment variety very good."
Miinukset: "Business class seats hard. Did not flatten out for sleep."
Plussat: "Kind, courteous, attentive crew. Smooth flight."
Plussat: "Boarding was quick and efficient. Flight attendants are always very friendly and attentive on Air France flights."
Miinukset: "Vegetarian food choices always leave much to be desired."
Plussat: "Friendly crew, clear information about the delay"
Miinukset: "Chaotic boarding process at CDG and my seat was broken"
Plussat: "I liked the northern lights look after boarding upon introduction of the captain and crew members. Everyone was super personal and uninformed looked great. The best part was when they started boarding from the last row, which is the most logical and efficient way to do it"
Miinukset: "They forgot our vegetarian meal requests on both flights. Few drinks. Old movies."
Plussat: "flight was fine."
Miinukset: "very disappointed Iceland Air is charging $95 for 1 piece of luggage. This is making me rethink the "deal" because it added $190 to the cost of the flight."
Plussat: "Crew and food were amazing."
Miinukset: "It was perfect."

Miinukset: "No food was served for an international flight. This isn’t a budget airline."
Miinukset: "It was so HOT in our original row (13). The woman next to us passed out, no doubt because of how uncomfortably hot it was"
Plussat: "Plane was clean and well managed. Everything felt smooth as we were well taken care of"
Plussat: "Crew was friendly."
Miinukset: "During the flight many people (including myself) complained about the very cold temperature setting inside the cabin. Passengers who asked for a second blanket did not get any. Unfortunately, the crew never switched on the heating system in order to make the flight comfortable for most passengers."
Plussat: "Paid extra for legroom, but sadly the seat did not recline much due to being in row at the emergency exit"
Miinukset: "Seats are uncomfortable and better entertainment"
Plussat: "ease of boarding, the flight left Dulles at the perfect time, after all the crowds were gone"
Plussat: "I like that they give a pillow and blanket on the plane. I also like that from Dulles to reyjavik they gave us a bottle of water."
Miinukset: "The boarding process is a bit confusing and not well organized compared to other airlines. They should give a bottle of water every flight."
Miinukset: "Flight labeled Economy but actually Economy Light, which meant no baggage. Just Fly didn’tt Show that."
Miinukset: "Every flight on Icelandair that I had, was delayed. Very slow check in assistance. Ground crew were not friendly nor helpful. They would push and shove anyone in their way, instead of saying “excuse me”. Paying for ONE check in bag should not be $95. Most airlines charge between $20-50 for the first bag. Also no snacks for a long flight."
Miinukset: "The seat I was in did not recline and the flight attendant was not able to assist me with moving to another seat. This was terrible considering it was a 7+ hour flight ..."
Plussat: "It was the fastest route from Washington DC to Helsinki."
Miinukset: "Staff a bit cold (no pun intended). Aircraft are well maintained but old. Business class is not at all on par with the competition. It's called premium economy on every other airline. Outdoor disembarking and boarding in Iceland... Yes, it's true... Even with open gates at the airport. Contrary to the staff, passport control is in Keflavik... With the one hour layover... Expect to be stressed trying to make your connection. No partner airlines means no credit for using this airline. Overall... Unless I'm going to Iceland, I think I'll forego using this airline in the future. Rather be in another carrier's premium economy than their business class."
Miinukset: "Flight was more than one hour late"
Plussat: "Not a single movie was offered with captioning for those of us who hate ear buds or with hearing disabilities or who prefer to watch "quietly". Many of these have already been captioned elsewhere at another time so what's with not bringing to captions along?"
Miinukset: "Desk agent asked if we were willing to sit in exit row. We agreed. Seat assignment turned out to be next row forward so we were unable to recline for a 5 hour red-eye."
Plussat: "The crew."
Miinukset: "Having to pay for everything."
Miinukset: "5 hours of flight in narrow sits and only a small drink cup offered. No complementary food."
Plussat: "It was a smooth, direct flight."
Miinukset: "The young "assistant" at the gate in Dulles was completely incompetent. Even the senior person at the gate calling boarding row numbers was amazed/astonished/upset at how useless he was."
Plussat: "Great service and comfort on this flight. Reykjavik airport is not comfortable at the gates--disorganized and nowhere to sit--but that's not Norwegian's fault. Good experience with Norwegian Air!"
Plussat: "Good entertainment options and device charging."
Miinukset: "No meal. One drink."
Plussat: "Connecting flight on Finnair albeit from Oslo, Norway, delivered as promised. On time departure and arrival. What a relief. Too bad Icelandair ground ops did not get our luggage on board. No surprise there. Lost valuable vacation time and money tracing and recovering our possessions."
Miinukset: "From delayed departure from Dulles to hot airplane, cramped seating, minimum service, late arrival in Reykjavik and 19 hours of constant gate changes, nothing went right for the airline and the hundreds of frustrated passengers. Waited from 0730 Saturday to 0300 Sunday to continue to Helsinki. 5 unexplained flight delays and last minute gate changes before flight being cancelled and rescheduled. What has happened to Icelandair?"
Plussat: "The Icelandair ground staff tried their best to deal with the impossible but the end result was still totally unacceptable. See below for details."
Miinukset: "Incompetent ground operations. Five departure delays and gate changes. 24 hour delay. Communications and customer service disaster."
Plussat: "Staff on plane."
Miinukset: "Hardest and narrowest seats I've ever experienced. No complementary food served on transatlantic flight and the food offered for sale was unappealing and expensive. There was a problem with staff meeting the arriving plane to open the door and allow passengers to disembark. The wait was 15 minutes for someone to show up on each leg of the trip."
Miinukset: "My final flight and I was going to finally get some food. Only to find that without a major debit or credit card that wasn't happening. I needed to pay for my breakfast and cash was not acceptable. In addition to a massive overflow of parents going through passport control and neatly missing my flight I was quite unhappy"
Plussat: "There is good legroom, and hip room. Crew is very pleasant and react promptly. You have a nice entertainment system - if you remember your headphones."
Miinukset: "No food on a long flight - not even a bag of pretzels. If you forget headphones you have to buy them, whereas other airlines offer them for free."
Plussat: "The crew were very friendly and helpful. Also our flight from DC arrived late, the connecting flight waited."
Miinukset: "My suitcase did not arrive (which was to be expected as we arrived late), but it did not arrive 24 hours later either. No food was served, not even a small snack. Boarding was slow and it was hard to hear the announcements. (Maybe this is an airport issue)."
Plussat: "Boarding was organized and efficient. Made sense to do it from the rear of the plane forward, by rows. Flight attnendants courteous and very helpful. Pillow/blanket/multiple non-alcoholic beverage services. Limited but adequate movie/tv selection. I watched all the Icelandair Iceland travel specials instead--highly recommend. We were delayed 20 mins leaving as the incoming flight was late but we made up the time in the air. Minimal/unobtrusive cockpit announcements. Very nice red eye flight."
Plussat: "I was the first one off the plane"
Miinukset: "The emergency door was in front of my seat. I couldn't sit without my knees hitting it or at an angle which is uncomfortable. I asked the flight attendants if I could I've and they said "no it's a different class". I paid for a seat on your airline and all I wanted was that seat but was given something Waltham was not what I paid for. Also, I had to hold my water bottle and book bc there was no seat back pocket. It was a miserable flight. Especially since the gentleman on the other side of the plane in front of the emerge door was able to move to one of the seats that, "was a different class". I guess just a different class for me??"
Miinukset: "I was surprised that we did not get a meal service, not even a little snack for a long hall, from D.C. to Iceland. The only service we had was the water. I probably won't fly with this airline again....Sorry."
Miinukset: "Reykjavik airport was cramped, with no good food options behind security. Would not bring my stroller to me; they did have (broken) strollers for common use, but I didn't get my stroller until IAD baggage claim (and it was soaking wet). So I had to go through the haul to immigration line with no stroller."
Plussat: "Flight was cheapest option for a family of 6. We had mechanical issues prior to leaving DC and missed our connecting flight. Icelandair did a great job in putting us in a hotel and providing free transportation to and from the airport. Reykjavik is a beautiful city and we made the best of the layover. We plan to come back to Iceland for a longer visit to explore more."
Miinukset: "Next time I would plan for a stop over-- it seemed to run so smoothly that it must of happened often. We lost a day in Paris due to the delay which we were disappointed in and they did nothing for our lost hotel day that was paid for."
Miinukset: "It was delayed causing me to miss my connection"
Miinukset: "Our flight from Washington DC to Iceland was so late that we lost a day of our vacation and had to spend three hours in line at the airport to get hotel vouchers."
Plussat: "The overnight flight from the states to Iceland was really nice and the airline provided pillows/blankets. The stopover in Iceland was easy to navigate in the smaller airport."
Plussat: "International flight no food could not believe"

Miinukset: "Delayed flight with no communication from boarding gate. Knew about delay from Kayak hours before we heard about it at the airport."
Miinukset: "Didn't like the disorganization - didn't call passengers by rows or any other system - didn't like taking the bus to the tarmac"
Miinukset: "Did not realize that free meals were not provided. The trip ended without eating for 9 hours, as no hot meals were offered."
Miinukset: "Boarding/departure was 30 min late. Sat in the back of the plane - the stench coming from the bathroom was nearly vomit-inducing."
Plussat: "Crew was friendly, flight was good"
Miinukset: "The seats on our plane were the worst seats of my experience EVER. When you have to be seated for 5+ hours, some level of comfort is required. I could barely stand by the time we got to Iceland. NEVER again. I'm not usually picky but this was ridiculous"
Plussat: "Excellent service and friendly people Check in was very easy When flight was delayed they held. The plane for us"
Miinukset: "No food on either flight. First flight was 20 minutes late, which made our one-hour layover very stressful. We asked the Icelandair woman at the gate if our bags made it even though our layover was short and she seemed annoyed by the question, and said "Yes. All the time." Our bags did not make it, and it took an hour and a half after waiting for our nonexistent bags for 30 minutes to report them as missing, as there were two employees in the office for 30 people whose bags didn't make it."
Plussat: "Inexpensive, efficient crew."
Miinukset: "Reykjavik airport is doubling in size. They have increased the number of travelers into the airport before the infrastructure is ready! Consequently the lines and wait times for connecting travelers at passport control is unbearable! I guess this is the price we pay for low cost flights!"
Plussat: "The crew were polite"
Miinukset: "The planes were late on both ends. There is no room to put even a small bag under the seat. This was the first international flight I've been on that didn't offer a meal. They didn't even have any milk."
Miinukset: "I was delayed 9 hours due to a strike, including a 7 hour layover with no offer of compensation or assistance."
Plussat: "The seating and cree."
Miinukset: "Unexpected reassignment of confirmed seats, and then reinstating the originally confirmed seats during boarding. This was very annoying at the least. Reykjavik airport was very cold. Did not appear they were running any heat. Landing and boarding from the turmack was not pleasant."
