Bags were lost, missed my flight because i didnt give myself enough of a layover
Very tightly packed uncomfortable flight.
The staff were nice & communicates very well. The food was not good.
The flight crew was nice,
Moved me to any seat away from the terrible parent next to me
Plussat: "The variety on the LATAM Play."
Miinukset: "There was no vegetarian food. I do not eat meat and the only available sandwich had ham. Having an only cheese option is not that expensive or complicated..."
Plussat: "The plane was new."
Miinukset: "Smallest seats and shortest leg room I’ve experienced in a long time! They even charge for a cup of coffee, and anything else, other than water! I didn’t try to use the bathroom, but they probably charge for that, too!"
Miinukset: "Have a screen to watch movies."

Miinukset: "With the red eye flight, there were limited food options. Probably what happens normally, but it was a third leg of a journey for us an we were hungry!"
Plussat: "Nothing much, really."
Miinukset: "Baggage handling. They lost one of my baggages and are giving me a hard time to get a refund."
Plussat: "I'm not sure since I slept through most of the 90 minute flight, which is a good sign, I guess. It was an older plane with no entertainment system, but I hate those things, so fine by me. I missed the food this time around, but it was a crappy cold sandwich when I took the same flight a few weeks earlier, but it's a 90 minute flight, so what do you expect?"
Miinukset: "The boarding process was pointless While this is a quirk of the airport, the airline should change their procedure for this scenario. LATAM splits passengers into different groups: first class, special needs, priority because you paid, everybody else. That's fine at most airports. At Santiago's airport, however, passengers ride a bus from the gate to the plane, mixing up all the groups on the bus, so what's the point? Worse, special needs passengers were the first to get on the bus, but end up last to get off screwing over the elderly and those with small children. What a system!"
Miinukset: "I couldn’t fly because at check in they asked me to pay for my 2 luggages and I couldn’t afford it so they let me out of my flight and now they don’t want to return my money. Worse airline I’ve ever seen. I’ve been flying international for 20 years and never saw a flight you have to pay for Luggage"
Plussat: "Everything was on time. Food was good and movie selection was good"
Plussat: "Flight staff, food, seating, Personnal space, restrooms were clean, landing was smooth"
Miinukset: "Checking in at the counter and boarding the aircraft can use some polishing. The boarding process is confusing due to lack of communication to customers and faulty speaker/PA systems at LATAM gates."
Miinukset: "It would have been nice to know we had to pay for checked luggage. It showed that we were each allowed 1 piece checked luggage."
Miinukset: "Lack of food!! LATAM you are doing it wrong"
Plussat: "The LATAM getting our boarding pass, going through the LATAM boarding area, getting on the LATAM plane we were stopped no less than 4 times by this airlines. The women were rude to us. Many people had presents for the holidays that were much bigger than our packs."
Plussat: "On time"
Miinukset: "Travel agency accessed through kayak (kiwi travel) didn’t allow for online check in ahead of time. It also didn’t allow for seat selection ahead of time, so I was stuck with middle seats both ways."
Miinukset: "Flight delayed well over an hour, Airport stuff unhelpful, Very below average."
Plussat: "Entertainment and extra seats everywhere"
Plussat: "We are an American Family. We traveled on LATAM Sydney to Auckland round trip. The plane was brand new Boeing Dreamliner 787-8 with all the bells and whistles. The attendants who are Spanish speakers but bilingual were delightful. We had one meal on each flight and 2 rounds of drinks. We had no issues with carry on or checked luggage. To summarize we had 2 perfect on-time flights with no fuss or drama. I couldn't recommend them more even if I tried.."

Miinukset: "Had to wait 3 hours inside the plane in JFK with no electricity (no AC or lights) before taking off. The crew said it was the airport employees that had caused the problem."

Plussat: "Excellent service and the food is awesome :-) It has one of the youngest fleets in the industry!!! the LATAM Dreamliner feels so smooth! You should really try that aircraft, it has a special pressurization that you won't feel the"
Plussat: "The crew service is excellent: prompt, efficient, and friendly. The free streaming inflight entertainment to use on your smartphone, tablet or laptop is a very nice feature on a 3-hour plus flight. The food for sale onboard is tasty and fresh. In my experience most domestic flights operated by Latam are on time."
Miinukset: "Latam crams its single-aisle Airbus fleet with one or two rows of seats too many: the seat space is crammed. The exception are the first three rows and exit rows, for extra pay or free for elite passengers. The first three rows have power outlets -nice and useful to watch streaming movies without draining your smartphone battery."
Plussat: "The customer service"
Miinukset: "Delays on boarding which resulted in 1hr delay at arrival"
Plussat: "Overall I love the professionalism and customer service of LATAM. The interior lighting of the aircraft makes a big difference. The staff is always super polite and friendly. It's my favorite airline."
Miinukset: "On a 10 hour flight (LAX to Santiago Chile) they should offer more snacks and drinks for people to help themselves to in economy class. Other airlines have water and juice available I felt like I was bothering a crew member every time asked for a glass of water, when I could have just helped myself. Also, maybe have a few light snacks available. After a very light lunch, 8 and a half hours is a very long wait till breakfast!"
Plussat: "I enjoyed the customer appreciation the crew showed, at all times. Catered my vegetarian diet and their food was exceptional!"
Miinukset: "Had minor technical problems with my headphones. However, my flight was not crowded and was able to use the empty seat next to mine to watch a movie."
Plussat: "The plane was new, exceptionally clean & nice. The crew were very professional & friendly. They offered my husband & I exit row seats for no additional fee after seeing how uncomfortable his 6'3" frame was in the regular seats. The snack and beverage service was above average for a 3 hour flight."
Miinukset: "The wifi service was not the best and although the plane was new there was not much leg room at all and the seats were not the most comfortable, but for a 3 hour flight it wasn't too bad."
Miinukset: "I was charged 200 dollars to transport a 400 dollars surfboard. This makes it prohibitive for anyone to travel with our entertainment equipment. It should only qualify as sport equipment for remunerated athletes, not amateurs like me."
Plussat: "The attention was good. The air attendants were quite nice. For booking my meals I had a problem with the Call center and they left me waiting for 15 minutes until I had to hang. But then I contacted the Facebook page and I received an immediate response so everything was Ok."
Miinukset: "The plane on the first flight was quite old and the entertainment console was obsolete. The plane for the return flight was a new one, vey nice but the seats were hard and very uncomfortable."

Miinukset: "It took forever to load the plane and they overbooked a few seats. The crew was clueless about how to handle seating a nice family whose seats were taken. 20 minutes later, the crew finally got it together. Also, the sandwich sucked. Some type of cream cheese on a lousy roll. Unbelievably bad and a calorie waste; tasted like wall paste."
Miinukset: "TAM is extremely unreliable and will never leave on time. LAN was actually very nice, but their sister TAM is by far the worst I've ever taken. I will be very clear next time when booking in South America to not take TAM again. We were delayed by 2hours for no apparent reason."
