The flight attendants were rushing and will take a while if you needed anything. I felt like I was taking a bus with graffiti all over the place."

Bonus points for the Beemster cheese sandwich (I was totally disappointed when they served the food, but more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheese - I even bought some afterwards, from the Albert Heijn just outside the security area)."

Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

Plussat: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Miinukset: "The leg room on the long flight was less than I would have wished and it was particularly bad when the person in front put their seat back. this was a day time flight and it would have been good to have a bit more room to use a laptop."

Miinukset: "Flight delayed by one hour which meant I missed by train at Southampton by 10 minutes and subsequent bus connect home. Next bus would have been 2 hours later so 45 minute walk home from train station. Didn't bother with food offering, put off by that supplied from Hannover to Schiphol."
Plussat: "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."
Miinukset: "The seats in economy were a little too small for a 12 hour flight"
Plussat: "Comfortable flight to Amsterdam for vacation in UK. More meals than expected. Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas."

8 hr delays. Lost luggage. No compensation. Nuff said.

Fly was delayed and we missed connection flight. Connection flight was rescheduled and that flight got delayed for more then hour

Flight was 5 hr delayed, we missed our connection flight. Had to wait another 5 hrs for our next flight. The whole day was wasted.

Good service and courtesy of the staff

The departure time changed 3 times in a 2 day period and in one of those times it was moved from 1:40pm to 1:25pm causing many people to rush through the airport due to the earlier boarding time

Everything was great! Registration, boarding and flight overall experience was great!

It was three hours delayed. If they knew people were delayed from other planes they shouldn’t have boarded us yet. We spent two hours just waiting on the plane

No WiFi

Lack of information re baggage delays on arrival. I know the airline cannot control the weather but it was chaos in the arrivals area. I waited for 3+ hours with limited information only to be told our bags were still on the plane and to come back in the morning. Seriously? It’s an hours drive each way if I’m lucky, not to mention I have to work tomorrow. Not happy.

Plussat: "The crew was fine and was thankful they found a way to get back to Detroit (but, it required a stop in Dallas and an overnight in Chicago)"
Miinukset: "There was no social distancing or enforcement for wearing masks. I saw no sanitizing on any of the three flights I had to take to get to Detroit. of the four airports only the one in Guadalajara asked any health questions and could be seen sanitizing the waiting room and eliminating seats to keep spacing."
Miinukset: "Flute gate changed 35 min prior to boarding to a new gate that was a 10 min walk. That was stressful. The flight ended up being delayed 20 min as well."
Plussat: "Crew members were all very pleasant and personable. A very special experience with the local ticket agent / boarding agent (double duty) in Guadalajara: Maria Hernandez (or perhaps Fernandez) who was pleasant, professional, helpful and even called us respectfully by name ("Mr. and Mrs. Petrusek") She is an outstanding representative of American Airlines! Gracias to her!!"

Miinukset: "One hour delay on account of missing signatures from some mechanic according to the captain’s weak and shallow account of the facts. Flew with a 1st class upgrade to DFW and upon missing the connection to DSM (imputable to AA) I would have expected AA to have me await my later conection (3 hrs AA 2488) in the Admiral’s club especially after having paid for the upgrade. Instead, the bozo at the Admiral’s Club entrance in Terminal A A23 indicated that only Mexico City passengers were allowed into the Club even if as a GDL passenger I had a 1st class boarding pass. Poor and misguided management of the moment of truth on behalf of your employee with a 1 Million Miler customer. My experience recently with Delta and United has been with more open minded, customer centric and better trained airline staff. Disappointing and hope someone will read this and let me know that my note was heard. What is next?"
Miinukset: "The flight was cancelled. Transferred to Delta Air Lines and had no problem.. American Airlines kept us in the JAN airport way too long without helping us. fortunately Delta had a flight."

Miinukset: "The Avianca flight was over 4 hours late leaving Trujillo and blamed it on weather. Why don't they rearrange and prepare for this if the airport often gets fogged in during this time of the year? Instead they and other airlines leave dozens of travelers stranded. We lost our connecting flight to Iquitos, and after Avianca refused to reimburse us or put us on a different flight we had to purchase another flight with Viva Air with our own money. No accountability or respect for the consumer."

At airport check in desk, manual data entry errors during airport check in caused issues during customs at the end of the flight. Also we were not seated together initially even tho reservations were made months in advance. Airline online check in was pushing us to pay extra for seats together."

Miinukset: "Since we have an AAdvantage CitiCard and are AAdvantage members, it is disconcerting to have to claim your privilege of 1 free bag and priority boarding each time. This is embarrassing at the gate especially since it looks like we are cutting the line. What good is this "privilege" if you have to assert it every time or hold a credit card in hand with your carryon and boarding pass. This should be included in our ticketing at the time of purchase and upgraded on our boarding pass if we use the damn card for the purchase. It is now not a "privilege" but an inconvenience."

Miinukset: "But paying $8 for 30 mins of Wi-Fi is just outrageous. I did not, and will not ever pay that much for internet service. Additionally, my bag was asked to be checked at the gate. Mind you, my bag was a Airline Compliant design, that fit into the overhead bin sideways on the same sized plane going out to Chicago. If the flight were full, I would understand them being cautious about space, but the plane was barely over half full. It was just an annoying inconvenience."

Miinukset: "I did not like that fact that I change me flight to the next day and had to pay $200.00 for a ticket change. I feel if there are opening we should not have to pay an additional charge of $200.00. $50 for a ticket change is understandable, but $200.00. Things do happen and changes must be made. Cynthia J. Nice roomy jet, no issues

Spend 10HOURS on the phone to get on scheduled plane. BA made wrong date and was send in circles. 11houts before flight I bought different tickets to get back on time to LAX. No help from Finnair, British Airways and Kayak. Had so much stress and insanity from representatives about my flight. Kayak MUST have 24 hours live person. Was calling from Vilnius and getting machine from noon until 6pm, Vilnius time. Does Kayak knows calling rates!!! This was WORST experience ever!!!

The flight, plane and flight crew were great! The flight itself was not a problem at all. The HUGE issue was the mess at Heathrow airport. It was mass chaos, no direction or aisles for the connecting flights customers. Hundreds of people were trying to get through the boarding pass scanning to get to security. We were traveling with two children and after at least a 1/2 hour waiting on one side of the immigration hall, were told we had to move across the entire mass of people to another area. We stood there for another 1/2 hour without moving, then were told we had to move back to the first area because we had children! An employee looked at our boarding pass and told us we had missed the flight to go to the rebooking area. So we went there - stood for 1/2 hour again and then were told to go to a different area since we had children. We went to the next area - stood there for 45min, the employee looked at our boarding pass and told us the flight was delayed to go to the gate. SO we returned to the SAME ORIGINAL area, tried to explain to an employee we were told to go to that area. The employee became very upset and was rude, complaining that someone had moved the barrier? (We had not touched it - we were simply trying to follow directions) We finally made it to security after an hour wait, one of our bags had to be inspected. At this point we were resigned to missing the flight - we still had to get to Cgates in terminal 5. We did manage to make the flight. BUT someone needs to figure out the mass confusion in the immigration hall. If there are only a certain number of scanners available. perhaps indicating the lanes as soon as you enter the hall would be a solution?? Instead of having lines 50 people wide trying to funnel them down into 5-6 scanners? I understand staff shortages, short tempers, etc. I am not an airport export, but I imagine there are people that can determine a solution to this MAJOR problem at such a huge and busy airport. Surely determining a solution to better movement of customers would save rebooking costs, etc for the airlines.

I loved the FinnAir blueberry juice

Flight was delayed and they didn’t have any vegetarian meal options. You had to reserve online for a vegetarian meal. On other airlines you don’t have to reserve your meal restrictions. I was left starving the whole flight because they only had one meal option which was meat.

Useless Got delayed because we were waiting for the cabin crew to arrive to board the plane

The seats in the Airbus flight from JFK to HEL were a bit uncomfortable. The layover in Helsinki airport was boring because there were no stores open in the terminal and there was almost nothing to do for 3 hours.

Great flight attendants and overall airport experience,

Plussat: "The fact that there was no one sitting by me was fab. Through man on priority check in desk was very helpful getting me the assistance I needed"
Miinukset: "More choice of meal. Getting special.assistance.upon arrival at.Istanbul airport first outbound flight was hard. I nearly fainted as I had to stand for so long."
Miinukset: "Business class on the 3.5 hour flight was just blocking the middle seat in the front of the plane. No leg room, narrow seats. My husband is 6’4”” with wide shoulders. His legs do not fit and therefore extend into the aisle. Flight attendants were constantly bumping into his shoulders. Very cramped We were not aware of this configuration."

Miinukset: "For an hour and one half flight the seats were tolerable. Anything longer than that would have been torture."

Miinukset: "There was no charging point in the plane in my returning flight so that was a bit disappointing"

Miinukset: "The seats on our return leg were much more cramped & did not have as much legroom as the outbound flight. There were no meals available for me that did not contain cheese. There were not sufficient choices of spirits & we were only offed a drink once in the flight. I have flown with BA for 30 years now. This was absolutley the worst flight I have been on."
Plussat: "The staff was very kind and the food was decent."
Miinukset: "There was no WiFi on the flight as well as no air vents. The plane looked like it was from the 80s. Being on a flight for 11 hours with no air flow and no WiFi really makes me want to rethink flying British airways again."

Plussat: "A more organized boarding. There was no one to assist when we arrived at the airport to check in and no one to guide us as to which line to go to when boarding. It is difficult being organized on our own in an environment which include cultures lacking organization or being considerate. All food required purchase. No entertainment provided."
Miinukset: "Crew needs to be more educated regarding disabilities such as head injury. Recovering from a concussion obtained when a car hit me while I was walking, but still sensitive to things such as light and noise. When asked to open the shade while landing there was a hesitation but at least they allowed me to leave the shade down at my window for this portion of the flight."
Plussat: "I liked the crew."
Miinukset: "The food was terrible. Indian curry/ pasta and pizza. It was so cold in the plane that everybody had to wear something on their heads. The AC was blowing on my head for 11 hours. I have headaches, my sinuses heart and the food made me nauseous. It was impossible to sleep because of the low temperature."

Miinukset: "Even coffee cost money? Had to request water. Just cattle moving through."

Plussat: "Crew are really the highlight. Food and seats are good in business class."
Miinukset: "Boarding was a bit chaotic. Passengers were bunched up outside the departure lounge - not sure if there were lines or not. Got sorted when we got into the lounge."
Miinukset: "They lost our bags. Many of us on board. And they didn’t give us tracking numbers to follow-up. Argh"

Plussat: "Last minute flight (booked 4 hours before departure), one way, economy, for €99 from Amsterdam to Edinburgh via Gatwick. Long layover at Gatwick (around 3 hours), but I had much work to do anyway, so time went faster than I realised. Not sure if this was the case at Schiphol, but at Gatwick had priority security queue as a BA customer."
Plussat: "The fact that the flight was short and not full. Crew were pleasant and business like"
Miinukset: "There was nothing to not like"
Plussat: "seat was comfort, the flight was on time."
Miinukset: "no free water? it is really a big surprise, how could be, it is not cheap airline."
Plussat: "Crew were great, food good : better business class than international BA!"
Miinukset: "Too many passengers with over size carry on"
Miinukset: "Flight delayed & on a 2+ hr flight you don’t give anything free to drink. What a sorry airline. Not even human."
Plussat: "On time. Decent legroom. Average movies -- a bit bland."
Miinukset: "Daytime flight, Boston to London. Fair breakfast. But instead of a decent snack and wine before landing 7pm, they gave chips and cookies and no wine."
Plussat: "Helpful flight attendants"
Miinukset: "8 hour flight with only one meal and barely a snack Seats were quite tight"
Plussat: "Professional service, felt safe. Good cost."
Miinukset: "Only fed one full meal on our transatlantic flight, and got one snack otherwise. Took awhile to take our trays which caused a very long line for the bathroom after. On our inter Europe flight, no snacks were included."
Plussat: "Flt attendants. Esp the english guy."
Miinukset: "Once again just some measly pretzels."
Plussat: "Crew was very courteous. Good movie selection."
Miinukset: "Did not get the seat I paid $67 for. The seat had a clump like an old fashioned mattress spring. Lucky I had the pillow! Impossible legroom esp. when the seat in front was lowered. Food was mediocre."
Miinukset: "Misleading about food policy."
Plussat: "Crew were especially friendly and helpful. Very smooth sailing all the way. Just luck that it wasn't a full plane. Lots of pillows and blankets. Food was good."
Miinukset: "Audio for music wasn't the best. In fact, classic station had skips and drags. Volume inconsistent, although controls were responsive, especially for movie. Coach seats begin to feel like park benches after 5 hours."
Plussat: "The cabin crew were exceptional. One flight attendant in parifular was extremely helpful to us in helping place our carry on luggage in the overhead compartment. I did not get his name but he told me he was from Spain."
Miinukset: "- Landing cards were only distributed 20 minutes before arrival. The seat belt sign was already on. So, I could not use the food tray to fill out the cards. I tried to use the magazine to put under the landing card, but there was some turbulence and I could not fill out the cards n the plane. Cards should be passed to passengers an hour after Akef off. - no gifts given to kids like small games or coloring crayons to keep them busy. - food took hours to serve and was not comparable to BA's image. - the water pressure in the toilet's wash basin was too strong and was splashing all over my cloths."
Miinukset: "The entertainment screen on the seat back was broken. The flight attendant said she would reset it or find us another seat but that never happened. Ten hours is a long time without the screen. Also they were out of meal choices by the time she got to our row and the chicken dish that was left was inedible."
Miinukset: "Seven hours before my flight, I got an email from British Airways saying my flight was cancelled and I had been rebooked on a flight the next day. I called them immediately and was told the flight was cancelled because of inclement weather on the route. I checked the national weather advisory and saw no such weather alert. The service rep at BA told me there was "absolutely nothing" she could do, at which point I asked for a manager. I waited for almost 30 minutes, and once the manager came on I was put on a flight that same night, on a different airline. If I hadn't pushed back and demanded a more reasonable accommodation, they would have done nothing to right their wrong. For this reason I am extremely unhappy with my experience with British Airways."
