Almost the only airline that offers free coffee and bread even in short 1 hour flights
A heads up on filling in an e-ticket prior to flight departure would have been helpful.

Plussat: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Miinukset: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Plussat: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Miinukset: "KLM had bumped us to a later flight for no reason and again we had to call with a long wait to get our original connection restored, However, we did not get boarding passes during checking in Europe and thus had to go outside security in Detroit to the main check-in gate and wait 30 minutes to get the error resolved. Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

The flight took off 6 hours later the plane was not ready to fly
Flight was smooth and the crew were great, but I ended up getting delayed in Dallas and spending 6 hours in the Dallas airport and they lost my luggage and it never made it to New Orleans.
The flight was three hours delayed and instead of having us wait to board we waited two hours in the plane before take off. For the future if they know connection flights are delayed they should have us wait outside
The gate crew at Asheville was very friendly and on top of letting passengers know why things were being delayed. The air crew was friendly. The delay experienced through American Airlines (American Eagle) was inconvenient and made for a long day without any sleep. The flight was smooth. However, the seats were obviously in need of new cushions. They were hard and uncomfortable. The aircraft was clean, though.
Flight delayed out of MCO cost me my connecting flight to PDX. Held up in a hotel in Phoenix…

And the worst part is that I couldn't get into any of lounges at any airport (flagship and/or admirals) . Because they said I wasn't flying in an international flight. Come on?! Canada->USA->Mexico is not International???"

Miinukset: "The flight was two hours late leaving Chicago due to maintenance issues. Because of this we missed our scheduled train therefore I had to purchase more tickets."

The biggest issue I have is that invariably when I fly American, if I go through Charlotte, is on the whole inconvenient. It takes way to Long to get to a gate when you land. And while everyone is apologetic, I would prefer they didn't have to be."

Even the chicken dinner was as good as many restaurants serve with tastey sauce and cooked just right with nice tossed salad and even apple pie desert. We got served free beverage 3 times on 9 hour flight from Paris to Dallas. The entertainment options were amazing: So many new movies or video games or e-reader were added plus with individual screen in front of each seat! They will be my first choice. New seats also had extra padding and were more comfortable! Wow1"

When I purchased the tickets online it never told me that there would be a charge for my bag. The plane was half empty. People payed for there seats when it wasn't necessary there was plenty of room on the plane"
Miinukset: "Was delayed for several hours then when the plane showed up the flight was cancelled. I was not given I decent deal I was put on a letter flight when in actually I made if home earlier because of a desk woman who noticed I she could help. I was given a small sandwhich it was already late at night. No place to stay nothing while stuck in Dallas. Ended up going to philly then Newport News."
Flight was late and the remaining time was not enough for the transfer.
The food from Venice was better quality and taste than the flight from DC. The plane was very shaky and rattling while landing.

Despite having checked in on line, we had to queue for more than an hour to drop our bags at Geneva. The flight was an hour late departing and we then had to wait more than two hours at LHR T5 for our bags, with no explanation or apology. BA, you need to do a lot better than this to keep my loyalty.

Miinukset: "British Airways did not have a plane available in timely manner. They were jerking us around with the departure time. They changed the departure time over 6x. The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

Miinukset: "I didn't like the fact that one has to pay for any refreshments on the flight, even for coffee, juice, or soda. When I asked for water, the flight attendant assumed that I wanted to pay for bottled water; I had to specify that I wanted regular water."
Miinukset: "British Airways would not let me board the original flight (even though I would only be in Istanbul to change planes), because I did not have a Turkish Visa. I may have lost my ticket payment as well."
Plussat: "We could tell upon boarding that the crew was focused on making our fight of 10 hours as pleasant as they could. They got along well together, which aided in providing excellent coordinated care to the passengers. Not an hour passed without being offered food, drinks, snacks, drinks, and more food. Even a time delay at take off due of a passenger leaving passport in the terminal was made up mid flight, for an ontime arrival in SFO. Would definitely look to British Airways for my next European trip."

Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "My two flights on BA were the coldest I’ve ever experienced. Everyone needs a blanket during the flight. My feet were cold even under the blanket. There was also a cold air vent blowing cold air on my near the floor."

Not sure why on one flight we didn't get free beverage service when all of the other BA flights provided it. When we got to London, we purchased drinks at the airport because we wanted to be prepared for our next flight and then we didn't need it because we had free beverage service."

Miinukset: "Not enough leg room or reclining space for such a long flight. Viewing screens are too close to face for comfort... especially for people with older eyes. Focal distance is farther away."
Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed, although we are given a reasonable reason, leg room is always tough for me, I'm 5'11" 1 star for food and entertainment because there was none on this flight."

Miinukset: "We arrived at the airport more than 2 hours in advance since this was an international flight. There was NO British Airways staff available to help with obtaining actual boarding passes which were NOT available on the BA mobile app. Although we made the flight with enough time, that was only because the security line was short and the passport control line was short as well. British Airways should have staff available to process passengers and boarding passes, luggage checkin, etc. earlier for their flights."

Miinukset: "1. Bought ticket via kayak chicago to prague, so I got outgoing trip on British airways but they codeshare it out to Aer Lingus. Unfortunately, these dumbos haven't figured out that no matter what the gyrations they do, I still want to be able to pick my seat beforehand. Nada. Not possible online. And forget calling aer lingus 800 number. called twice and was on hold for 30 min each time, they dont bother answering. 2. At airport, I was willing to pay extra for a good seat because of the issues above, so they said they would help me out. Ha - the manager who purportedly was helping me out gave me a seat up front next to a shrieking infant and behind a bassinet (he knew exactly what he was doing but didnt care). They really lie and think we're idiots. 3. Same thing for flight from dublin to prague. This time last row next to toliets Dont fly aer lingus if you dont book directly with them, same for british airways I looked at BA's website - they do let you book a seat in advance but you must pay something for every single seat. Crazy. There are no free seats"

Miinukset: "We had to be transported by bus both when we boarded in Edinburgh and when we got off the plane at London Gatwick. Of course when we took another plane at Gatwick, we had to take a bus again. Very inefficient process. They actually close the gate 30 min before the flight time, for really. I think it's unnecessarily harsh. Crew were very friendly."

Miinukset: "Checking in for BA was a headache because of my Alaska connection so I was unable to request a window seat. Not able to request a window seat prior to check in."
Miinukset: "Flight was cancelled and took forever to get me on a new flight. On thw way back British airways messed up my return flight completly inconviencing us and created a very stressful situation. Lost over $400 becuase of delayed flight and I will be contacting BA in terms of compensation for not only my lost money but time."

I'd prefer to pay 10 pounds more in my ticket and still have the impression my drinks, soft or not, are offered."
Plussat: "We were in coach. They would not allow us to take any water on board the plane unless we were in business or first class. Really wierd. This was a night flight, so we slept most of the way.."
