The boarding was a little chaotic but everything else was excellent
The seating space is tight. I could have taken the seat in first class if ït was affordable.
The Doha airport is a disaster. We almost got late in boarding bcuz of the construction going on. Then, the flight experience is not that good. Seating space is tight.
They told us our family of five couldn’t fly because our Covid tests weren’t at the correct time. After it was elevated to the fourth level, someone actually did the math like we did, and they realized we were right and let us on the flight. This made the experience extremely stressful and frustrating. The employees and especially the flight crew were nice, but not having their info straight tainted the trip. I know these are very challenging times for airlines as they navigate all the different restrictions from different countries, but something as simple as the test cutoff time for a 48 or 72 hour lead time for a scheduled flight ought to be easy to have ready beforehand. After all that drama, there was no “Sorry about that” or perk of any kind. Good lesson for us to make sure we have our facts straight before torpedoing somebody.
Food and the entertainment on the airline was good. The legroom between seats was OK because I am a female and I’m not too tall. As mentioned before the only issue I had was with the luggage. The only allowed one suitcase first passenger on the way to Karachi Pakistan. On the way back they allowed me to suitcase per passenger

I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

Check in process was pretty long. We arrived at the airport almost 2 hours ahead, but were almost last on the line. Try to arrive to the airport 3 hours ahead, just in case. Flight was great. Staff was really nice, the meals were amazing and the entertainment was fantastic. Overall experience was good, except one major item. One of my bags was lost. The bags were supposed to go directly to my final destination of Albania, and transferred directly from Turkish Airlines to Air Albania. I still haven't received my bag, and don't even know where it is or who should be responsible (either Turkish airlines or Air Albania). Communication with each airline is difficult, with no updates and not very good communication....

Their customer service people are rude and extremely unhelpful, doing nothing but telling us we should have flown in a day later for a shorter layover. Seriously?? Totally unacceptable."

The actual flight was ok. But was a mess before departing AMS. My previous flight was late, so missed my connection in AMS. Then I spent over two hours getting things settled to get another flight. I was unable to complete my request online, and no one at KLM in AMS wanted to help. They kept giving me the run-around until I finally convinced them K was stuck without their personal help. It added a lot of stress (and about 5 more hours of transit time) to my overall journey.
I do not know how, but, rude crew and counter personnel is here, rest of things looks pretty standard without any difference with other airlines, that was not the case in the past
Almost the only airline that offers free coffee and bread even in short 1 hour flights
Wi-Fi didn’t work. Boarding was totally confusing. Guy next to me took more then his area. Constantly touching me pushing on me. Had a bag blocking getting out. Almost fell. Crew didn’t help

He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Our scheduled flight from LHR to EDI was originally cancelled without us being notified. We didn't find out until we inquired at a customer service desk because we couldn't check in online. We were immediately rebooked, which was kind, but our luggage never got re-tagged and put on the flight, which meant that we were without our luggage for 3 days.
Flight was delayed for more then hour
Movies were really old. Earphones provided were terrible. Plane departed 30 minutes late. Passengers had to wait that time for 40 others who dribbled in from a connecting flight.

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed almost 3 hours total. The first 45 minutes we were in the airport and they said they were delayed because of an engineering issue which was fine. They then stated that they resolved it and had us board the plane.... ten minutes later the pilot states that the same engineering issue is still being worked on and it'll be about another ten minutes. Well... TWO HOURS after being trapped on the plane and told repeatedly "it'll be another 10-15 minutes" ,we finally took off. The food was subpar, most of the airline staff was polite save for one gentleman at the gate who made a sarcastic comment to me about them trying to board quickly when I couldn't find my passport (after making us wait 45 minutes... then another 2 hours... yeah board quickly for what?). And the flight attendant Nicola was incredibly rude and appeared to condescend to some passengers in various ways. That 3 hour delay ended up costing me my connecting flight and I was booked on an overcrowded flight leaving 4 hours later and that was also delayed almost another hour (surprise!). My first day of vacation, I basically lost my whole first day as I arrived 8 hours after I was meant to because of delays by B.A."

Plussat: "The boarding process was smooth and the crew was amazing. Not only the pilot kept us informed but also the crew was outstanding, very helpful and hardworking."
Miinukset: "The entertainment system failed as soon as we departed. They reset it for the entire plane but it didn't work for some passengers. Fortunately, mine worked well but I would not have survived such a long flight without the entertainment offered, so I can only imagine how painful it was for those affected. I know this, in hindsight, is a silly problem, but when flying it's important to have options, especially for an 11-hour flight. The crew handled it fantastically, by the way."

Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "We were delayed by 30 minutes for whatever reason and then we were trapped in the air for 11 hours in tiny seats. The seat wasn't very comfortable and I didn't have much room to sit and for my legs. I had a stupid box under the seat in front of me with airplane stuff in it I guess, so that took up some room under the seat in front of me. I had my legs stretched in the aisle most of the flight. The food wasn't great, but what airline food is good? I was really expecting this aircraft to be like the Dream Liner, but overall it was just a big tin can in the sky."
Miinukset: "Very long lines for British check-in that went very slowly. I spent over 1.5 hours just at the check-in process. This seemed unnecessary."

Miinukset: "This was the second flight out (we missed the original connection). By it being the next flight out we lost a night in Accomodation's that was already paid for with no chance of reimbursement."

Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Miinukset: "I was very disappointed with Kenya Airways on my recent round trip from Kigali to New York to visit family for Christmas. Due to a delay on my connecting flight from Kigali to Nairobi, I missed my flight to JFK and had to stay in Kenya for a full day, shortening my already brief trip. I do not know what caused this delay other than Kenya Airways staff having seemingly no urgency to get us off the ground. On my return flight to Kigali a delay attributed to “operations” increased my layover from 8 hours to 12 hours. On top of the scheduled delay we were delayed an additional hour because boarding did not begin when it should have. I was also less than impressed with the movie selection on the plane. I will not be flying with Kenya Airways again and now understand why they were the cheapest option!"

Miinukset: "The staff did not care. They caused many of the delays, exasperated many customers, and slept during the flight instead of tending to the needs of passengers. If you're prepared to take care of yourself, the price and speed may be too hard to pass."

Later we were brought non-vegetarian food ie had a 'poached egg' on it. This was marginally better. Also, I couldn't use 'entertainment' as connection in arm rest bad. Occasionally, on testing, it worked briefly."
Miinukset: "Made it to the airport 1hour and 15 min before the flight and was denied boarding. Airport would not allow me to see the ticket agent. Terrible experience."

Miinukset: "No announcements made as to what gate # or boarding. We almost missed the flight because of the lack of information. Airport staff were as equally confused. Entertainment did not work at all."
Miinukset: "No seat assignments honored, handwritten boarding passes, lost luggage, extremely old plane with no entertainment and bad air quality. No lounge for sky priority with Kenya airways at Abidjan airport."

Miinukset: "Overbooked flight- cancelled many people's trips! A dozen people with printed out and confirmed flights were turned away and asked to book with other airlines. Anyone who didn't checkin online was left at the airport- even those who booked, paid in full, and confirmed in person at the Kenya Airways office the day before. And we were all at the airport hours early. The ground staff in Arusha had no idea how to check people into the flight. They lied to us about what was happening and wouldn't update us about how they overbooked. They tried to email the main office and refused to just call them on the phone. I only got on the flight because I ignored their suggestion to 'just go sit down and let them work it out'. For people who did what they were told- they all missed the flight. I did online checkin on my phone and then all of a sudden there was a seat for me on the plane and I got on. Everyone else was left at the airport with no idea what was happening. I normally love Kenya Airways, but this level of overbooking and incompetent ground staff made me change my mind."

Miinukset: "As with the outbound flight the my screen didn't work. Seats were not particularly comfortable. Food was tolerable. Bag was not transferred from my Arusha flight but I guess that is not Kenya Airways fault."

Miinukset: "My original flight was cancelled and I was only given an hour notice before arrival time at the airport! I was rerouted from a one hour direct flight to a 7 hour delay through Nairobi then to Djibouti."

Miinukset: "The airline doesn't accept payments for changing flights over the phone. I arrived at Lilongwe airport and they said I couldn't pay them there and that I should pay in Nairobi. The plane was of course late leaving Malawi and when I arrived in Nairobi, the plane was getting ready to leave. The customer service line had +20 people in it. I waited my turn then the agent said it was my fault that I missed the flight and the next flight would be $243 USD instead of $90 like the gate agent stated. Then they told me I had to pay the $243 in cash and they didn't accept credit cards. All of the ATMs were broken there. I returned to the agent and they did accept credit cards, they just didn't want to go to the office to swipe it. The entire ordeal took +4 hours. Worst customer service ever."

Plussat: "The food was great. Ate rice and chicken and had bread. Even with a short flight, they offered a meal, drinks and coffee. Also enjoyed the comfort, because the flight was not full. I had an extra seat of room which was very nice. The crew was also very helpful and nice."
Miinukset: "Before my flight, the workers at the gate would not let me enter earlier than 1 hour prior to departure. Also there was no entertainment offered on this flight although there were systems in place."
