I think they are doing a great job in maintaining customer experience. I am satisfied and look forward to fly with them again. But they need to train the crew to be more polite while they speak English.

Rude staff/not their best, perhaps their B team working in the business on the flight from Istanbul to Islamabad (TK0710). Great staff in business class on flight from Chicago to Istanbul. (TK006)

The ticketing staff were amazing and helpful. The crew was nice. Hopefully Turkish airlines can have more flights coming in and out from Dulles area

Miinukset: "We did not like anything about the trip to Houston from Istanbul. To sart with, we were told by Turkish Airline staff to go to the gate more than 1 hour EARLIER than the flight to Houston. Once we arrived at the gate, we were told "I cannot help you with anything about your flight. That is another department" and we to wait our turn and wait for someone to take us down the jetway. We waited for 75 minutes (1.25 hours) until after EVERY OTHER PASSENGER was on board. The flight attendant was unresponsive to us, talked down to my husband and me in a way that was insulting, rude, demeaning and very nasty. When another passenger complained that he did not get the seat that the attendant just changed for him, FOUR flight attendants helped him - one person got on the phone with someone (I don't know who), another went down to his seat to see where he was sitting. Yet another came and tried to explain why they couldn't help and finally a fourth tried to speak with another attendant on board. Whether or not his problem was solved, I don't know, but this was in the middle of our conversation (with only one attendant, I will add), and so his attention was taken away from us and put on him. Our seats were changed from seats closest to the bathroom to the middle of the plane. My husband cannot walk so 14 rows walking was not possible. I will say that finally, it took three volunteers who offered their seats to us to sit near the much needed bathroom. Regarding being seated near the bathrooms, when we asked for an aisle chair (that they told us they had on board) we were told to "stand there. we will get one in around 10 minutes). And, the wheelchair was sent all the way to the BAGGAGE CLAIM and NOT GATE CHECKED, when we arrived in Houston, we can clearly see the frame is bent, the wheels are out of alignment and the brake is also bent out of shape. The wheelchair is a custom made chair just for my husband. We will be sending Turkish Airlines the bill for a new chair if it cannot be repaired. I hope you can see to address these problems. I am not hopeful it is not normally like this for Jews who wear their head coverings. We would welcome a further conversation about our experience in hopes that others do not have the same one we did. Vivian and Henry Blum"

Miinukset: "The flight was actually run by turkish airlines, not philippine air as stated in my confirmation email, so we were sent to the wrong terminal. Nothing in the email said which terminal the flight would depart from or that it was actually turkish airlines. Very irresponsible and communication for customers should be much clearer. Luckily we were very early for the flight or it could have caused a serious problem."
Plussat: "On board entertainment ststem has lots of options to choose from on all accounts. Food selection was good, served hot with large selection of drinks. Overall much better than US airlines that cross Atlantic."
Miinukset: "More comfortable seats for long haul flights is a must have. Comfort+ Offered a money’s worth alternative to business or first class. Boarding is done away from terminal building which required busess for transportation back and forth. Prefer skybridge instead."

Miinukset: "My transfer flight was physically impossible to make. Though my flight from Zagreb to Istanbul was on time, by the time I got into the terminal they were already making a final boarding call to my flight to JFK."

Also had to wait 30 minutes to use the bathroom because the crew told me I couldn't go into the one I was already in line for and the other one was being cleaned. Seats were more cramped than most airlines (and I'm short)."

Plussat: "The whole experience was ruined by the missed flights on both sides of the trip. My flight from IST to KHI was missed because my lay-over was only one hour, and my flight from IAD left hour and half late. I had to spend extra 6 hours on IST airport"

Miinukset: "Getting boarding passes and checking luggage took two hours. Literally was being dealt with for two hours personally while a couple employees typed and complained to reticket us after airline inexplicably cancelled our reservation on flight home. Until about 30 minutes before departure, no employee had assured us we would get on the plane we paid to be on. Just no concern for the anxiety we were dealing with - and Turkish caused."
Plussat: "The boarding and food."
Plussat: "We had a connecting flight in Instanbul, Turkey, and a representative met us at our arrival gate from Rome and walked us through security and to our connecting flight to LAX. I thought that was great because we would've been completely lost if we had to do it on our own. Security check in was thorough. We had to go through security screening AGAIN (already did it in Rome and had to throw away our waters purchased in the airport), and two different lines for passport check. My husband had to go through a third security line because he had a carry-on. Boarding was well organized with passengers lining up by their boarding letter - no crowding - and people sitting at the back of the plane boarded first (after 1st class). The flight itself was great. The food was delicious. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. They gave us a water bottle, lots of current and blockbuster movies to choose from. They provided pillows, blankets, and earphones at no extra charge. Would definitely fly again."
Miinukset: "The seats were a little tight. They woke us when it was time to eat. Not sure why they didn't just let us sleep, and then give us our food when we woke up. Not really a big deal since I wanted to stay awake on the flight home, but I may have wanted to sleep."
