Singapore air ticket, first flight on Singapore, connection on Scoot. Could not get boarding pass for Scoot flight at checking though booking was the same ticket and Scoot flight had SQ flight number. Transfer desk near arrival gate would not issue Scoot boarding pass. Only in terminal 1. Transfer desk in D gates was closed. Had to go to the beginning of C terminal to get boarding pass. Between bad directions and distance I lost 35 minutes getting a boarding pass. Flight had started boarding when I finally was allowed in the gate. Bussed onto the tarmac, not ideal but manageable.

Kayak will not refund tickets for my traveler who’s passport had time issue. Never again kayak

I felt there were rules for some and different ones for others in the same class which I felt was unfair even though it didn’t necessarily affect me.Water (especially) and snacks needed to be brought round more often especially for people that don’t sleep. I found all the staff really pleasant.

It is unfortunate that no pre-departure drinks are served anymore for business class. Even Emirates has resumed that service. Singapore uses regional aircraft for all flights under 8 hours now so this just made it in which means it is not a full business class seat but overall is comfortable enough.

Leg room space and gap in beteen seats

Please update your meals plan for hindu nv. Also, I wish I had a foot rest for my feet. Great seat spacing/leg room. The choice of Indian movies was not that great!

The four PINS generated by the counter staff did not work. We all took turn to try to no avail. by then we have walked too far from the counter we could not be bother going back. No airport that I've been to had poor internet service connection like this airport, yet it is supposed to be THE WORLD'S NUMBER ONE AIRLINE. We boarded at 11.30pm, last time we flew with them they gave us supper. Last night they gave us only water. We went to sleep hungry till the morning. Since when they started to operate like those cheap airlines that you have to pay for your food? And the night package did not have eye mask.... how could we sleep... ? Singapore airline could learn from Qtar. Very very disappointed."

Ground staff was waiting for me with a small car after I disembarked to drive me to the gate. And I somehow made my connection. Excellent service. Obviously my checked bag didn't make it, but I was told in advance and was kept updated before boarding and immediate after I disembarked at my final destination. When I went to the baggage service counter, they were already ready for me, had filled out my paperwork, and just needed an address to confirm the delivery of my suitcase. The stewards didn't seem to like it when we were out of our seats, but 12 hours is too long to be stuck in a middle seat."

Miinukset: "To my flight specifically, it got adjusted without telling me so I ended up missing my final transfer. I was not given a notification for a flight change. Someone met me at the end of my second flight to tell me I missed my connecting flight. With the adjusted flight Singapore gave me, there was no chance I would have made it. They did purchase a ticket for me on another airline to get to San Francisco in the end."
Plussat: "It is really nice to have a direct flight option to Singapore"
Plussat: "What did I like??? Um, EVERYTHING! First off I got a great price under $850 round trip to NRT from LAX was a steal! They let you check two large suit cases plus a carry on and a personal item. That all FREE!!! I travel pretty light but it was great to know they don't Nickle and dime you for bags or anything else for that matter. Staff looks amazing and treats you first class even when your in economy. They are so polite and really genuinely want to give you a above and beyond experience. And they over achieve at it! They meals are great and very satisfying. The planes are big and roomy even in economy seats. On our return flight we had a brand new plane which had a sleek touch screen monitor and controller. There mad tons of media available (articles, language games, games, movies, tv shows and more) with USB ports to charge devices on each seat. Plus 10inch personal monitors. Earbuds were included free of charge, aswell as socks toothbrush and tooth paste. They have is two big meals on our direct flight (awesome that they have direct flights). Plus, they offered free snacks too and gave us a full can of soda vs. a small cup. They come through several times offering coffee, tea, water and snacks. All free of charge. This was my first time flying Singapore Airlines and I loved it!!! I wish Everyone was this amazing! Norwegian Airlines was the opposite as far as charging for everything! Had to pay each stop for any luggage ($100 per checked bag). No meals free or charge. They wanted money for everything! And yea a skimpy sandwich was $9.00 :(."
Plussat: "Singapore Air is keeping up their standard which is a tough job. I give credit to them while doing so. They do have a high bar to keep. Singapore Air still pampers its travellers by providing hot towels for refreshment. Something that I don't enjoy while flying on other airlines. Keep up the good job."
Miinukset: "I saw a scotch tape taping over the arm of the seat! This is rather amusing and seems unacceptable. This is Singapore Air that we are talking about. Are we saying that Singapore Air do not have any proper repair kit to fix it without using scotch tape?? Being one of the world's 5-star airline, I think Singapore Airline can do better than that. :)"
Plussat: "Everything about this airline was great. It would be impossible to go hungry on this airline. Half the time I can't get a bag of peanuts on a 6 hour flight. On Singapore airlines someone was always there to accommodate you. Best service I've had yet. Highly recommend this airline!"
Plussat: "The service was amazing. The flight attendants were all so friendly and eager to assist. The meals were very tasty and complimentary wine was such a treat. Blankets were nice and thick, pillows were comfy, and you even received a little bag with socks and toothbrush."

Miinukset: "I didn't like how Vayasan and Singapore airlines telephone check in both claimed they could not upgrade. It was part of the policy/seating I bought. They were wrong, the airlines at San Francisco airport did it without blinking, after checking my visa status."

The flights themselves were absolutely fine, no problems at all. The situation at Doha airport was chaos with no one sure of where 'transfer' passengers had to go. There were boards pointing one way and Qatar Airways staff pointing another way. This was very poorly handled and understandably made many passengers anxious. I managed to rush to make my flight but that should have never been a problem as I arrived with plenty of time for my flight. The chaos at the airport caused confusion and delay which were easily avoidable.

We left in time, arrived on time but my luggages did not! I just got them the next day.

Horrible Airline. They kept me in Lagos for 2 days after I was scheduled to fly. Reason, flight has been overbooked. I am never using this airline again.

I had to call the airline multiple times to get an answer about a new flight. In my first call, the customer service was rude. There was also zero compensation for the inconvenience."

Qatar Airway is a hyper money hungry scammer who catches customers to rip money off from and creates a super tedious and painful experience for customers to ensure their private gains!!! Qatar Airway was delayed for more than an hour at the first departing airport! NO APOLOGIES OR MUCH EXPLANATION OF ANY KIND!! This is just how mindful and courteous they are. It sets the base tone of what this airline is made of. Then at the connecting airport, they closed the gate minutes before the departing time claiming the gate closes 20 minutes before the departing time, knowing they are leaving customers behind who has checked in and just haven’t arrived at the gate yet. And I arrived the gate minutes before the departure time. They can’t wait?! If so, why is it ok for them to delay for an hour without any explanation not to mention apology? Sure there are RULES. But remember what kind of airlines will have tons of rules that will guarantee you to fail?! Almost always the most shady, scammy and money hungry airlines who use ridiculous or ad hoc made RULES to set pitfalls for customers and ensure their profit gains by doing so!! Remember those European cheap airlines?!! They have tons of rules. You are set to fail even you have a smaller bags than some passengers who passed the gate without penalty. You are just unlucky – they set eyes to catch opportunities to rip you off whenever they can and whenever they are in the mood to be able to come up with lame excuses. With normal airlines, you realize your luggage which has been slightly overweight or over sized will be able to pass through without incurring any penalties. So any saying of rules are lame excuses and are shitty airlines’ lame excuses. The thing is good airlines will delay their flight a few minutes to wait for the passenger. If this is considered too needy of a requirement, then what happens next will shock you and reaffirm you how wrongful and shady this airline is. After missing the flight despite you arrived before the departing time, you have to purchase a full price ticket in order to fly again. As I declined to fly with them again since the ticket is too pricey and repurchased a ticket with another airline, they came up with an excuse that in order to release my luggage, they have to reissue a new flight ticket: so I have to pay both a luggage release fee and a flight ticket fee!!! What a gold digger Qatar Airway is haha. Luckily as I protested, they eventually didn’t make me to pay for a new flight ticket fee except a luggage release fee (really?). The sales office quoted a price of $250 to the luggage office. Then it took me a few minutes to get to the sales office. Strange thing happened, despite I mentioned the communication they are aware of, they are trying to find some “RULES” again to validate that I have to pay for an air ticket. I emphasized that is not the case. As I get irritated, guess what they did? They managed to come up with another excuse that in or"

It was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever been on. the flight was full so there were no reseating options apparently. It was extremely unpleasant."

Miinukset: "The flight attendants on the Dubai to Singapore flight were surprisingly unhelpful. It was a mostly empty flight and yet during this flight, there were very infrequent beverage service. When I activated my call flight attendant button, no one stopped by. This included at least 3 different flight attendants passing me, some more than a few times, and not once did anyone stop. After waiting for 10 - 15 minutes, I turned off the light and went to the galley part of the plane, only to find a group of flight attendants socializing. I requested a drink and it was handed to me without the attendant every making eye contact as the attendant still was facing and engaged in their conversation. This is not the first time I have experienced this on an Emirates flight so I think the staff training may need to be reinforced. Business class service on Emirates is quite good. But I fly both Economy and Business class. The experiences in Economy did affect my decision on which airline I generally fly with for business class travel."

Needless to say I was very confused and more than a little ticked with the inconsistent behaviour. Things didn't get any better when they defended their approach instead of simply acknowledging the problem."

Otherwise, if I did not have an onward ticket, they stated they could not check me in, and would refund my ticket. The problem is there are many ways of travelling out of Thailand, and I frequently visit Cambodia and Thailand via bus. How could I produce a bus ticket which I usually buy only a week before departure?"
Miinukset: "That was a bit of a rude shock, as I had never encountered such obstacles before, and most fortunately I did indeed have a reservation for a BKK-GVA ticket, or I would have been refused boarding. Apparently the Thai immigration authorities have a condition for Swiss citizens to possess an onward ticket before they can enter Thailand, but this is the first time an airline has applied this as strictly, and has been as insistent, as Cathay Pacific. I have been in & out of BKK hundreds of times, and this is the first time ever an airline has applied this rule to the letter. So, bottom line, never again will I fly Cathay Pacific."

You could only stand and charge and the plugs were all Hong Kong/English specific. Nothing universal about those plugs. I had to borrow an adapter to charge my laptop during the delay. The spicy fish dish tasted like it had been fouled during the delay. I like spicy fish generally but this tasted tainted."

I think they are doing a great job in maintaining customer experience. I am satisfied and look forward to fly with them again. But they need to train the crew to be more polite while they speak English.

It was an 11-hour flight and the crew made every effort to maintain our comfort. Good equipment, good food, and great service.

Miinukset: "I picked a window seat very early on through a phone call to a Turkish Airline agent in the USA, but when I checked in online, the seat assigned to me was gone and I was put in a middle seat while there were many other seats available. This erasure of the record and random seat assignment nullify the effort on the part of the passenger (making a call is not a trivial act these days because of the long waits) and generate uncertainty in the minds of the travellers. Hope you can improve on this point. That will make an even better impression on the passengers."

Everyone around us realized this and tried to help as we asked the flight attendant to help us and she said that I should ask other people to move around not her. We had to go around the plane begging people who were sitting with a bassinet and no baby to trade seats with us. It was an absolutely horrible experience. It was the airline's mistake, and we were the ones forced to try to fix it. Yes, we got a bassinet eventually, but not before we saw how mean and selfish other passengers could be pretending not to hear us and ignoring us. And no help from the crew."

Staff totally unprepared and untrained for such situations. We waited around for 6 hours before finding out on our own, that the flight was cancelled. The notice was not shown on the board. In all waited around at the airport for more than 10 hours before we were finally carted off to a small hotel near by at 1230am in the morning. Very little to no information given throughout the whole process, stranded with parched throats, no luggage, clean clothes or toothbrush."

We felt too intimidated to ask any more. Also our mileage points for this sector of our travel were not booked to our KrisFlyer accounts so wondering if she did not capture at check in."
