This story is repeating with your airline at 29th July our Turkish Airlines flight from Sarajevo was late for 3hours so we were running at Ataturk Airport to catch connection flight to Istanbul even though we booked 4 hours delay in Istanbul. Miinukset: "AC unit was off while boarding, first 20min it was super hot. AC turned off again about 30min prior to landing, again the plane heated up rather quickly."

Miinukset: "Boarding in Istanbul and Tel Aviv was chaotic, no business class boarding. Checking laptop in Istanbul was inconvenient. Lounge Istanbul was awesome however way too crowded to fully take advantage of it. Also should control people and what they takfor food. The lines were long and people would literally pile their plates with massive amounts of food, take it to their seat then leave it. Fix the lockers and add more, they are a wonderful asset but I was not able to take advantage of. Consider limiting access to manage crowds."
Plussat: "Once you got past checkin the flight was fine"
Miinukset: "The checkin process was horrendous, people waiting for 40-45 minutes even though they were at the front of the line. Repeatedly we saw customers from other lines or no line at all being brought in to take our spots and checkin first with no explanation."

Plussat: "So I never actually flew with Turkish this trip, but I can write about my rerouting experiences. Inbound my first connection to Istanbul was cancelled due to technical problems. Fortunately I was second in the ticket office line and was promptly rebooked with Lufthansa. My return flight was cancelled because of the coup, and again I was rebooked with Lufthansa."
Miinukset: "Overall Turkish Airlines did well in a difficult situation. But a few concerns. On my inbound flight, the agent servicing us was amazing and I was fortunate to be second in line, but the airline was ill prepared for the situation and the agent was being hung out to dry by his colleagues who kept calling him and wouldn't let him do his job. On the return flight, I was frustrated the agents at first pushed me to take a refund rather than letting me rebook with a partner. I ended up having to leave a day later than expected, and didn't get an itinerary till the morning after my original flight. This was all very stressful. Lastly, you have to think twice about flying through Turkey. Although this coup is over, the next crisis will be over whether President Erdogan creeping authoritarianism."

Miinukset: "They tend to generally don't keep their planes very cool and it gets a bit stuffy at times. In economy class, not much leg room as with most of the planes these days."

Plussat: "Turkish Air flight from Istanbul to NYC was fine but Turkish Air flight leaving Tashkent 8:15 am to Istanbul, May 29, was terrible. Although we had all been up from 5am to get to early morning flight and Tashkent air port has no services, stewardess ran out of coffee and repeatedly refused to get me, the person skipped, coffee, despite repeated requests for a first cup. Each time they refilled coffee, they started run from beginning of plane, and ran out by the time they got to the middle. Usually if someone gets skipped, they just go back and get a single cup, but this lady was determined not to. Never had this happen in 55 years of flying. Serious caffine deficiency."
Plussat: "Really amazing except for..."
Miinukset: "Stewardesses did their jobs, but as far as checking on passengers at non-food and assigned drink times, they were sitting in the back drinking coffee and talking. On top of not making rounds, there was no call button to summon a stewardess. Twice, my husband who was ill had a "coughing attack" and needed a glass of water... there was nobody was available. A passenger had to go and get them from the back. Perhaps due to this being a 13 hour flight, this is not a normal situation for them, but to go three hours at a time without taking a stroll through the cabin seems unprofessional. Otherwise this airline really does amazing service! I did not realize that such airline service still existed. American ones should pay attention!"
Plussat: "Nice goody bags and special treatment for the kids, and thoughtful that they brought kid-friendly headphones. All the comforts the airlines used to give for free are still there on Turkish, with no extra charges for food/checked bags, etc. Great food, they got our special vegetarian meals correct (as opposed to a big hassle on another airline). Very comfortable flight."

Miinukset: "Being asked to raise my seat back so that I woman behind me would find the positioning of her magazine more comfortably read. The space was mine. I am 78 and need all the backward lean (which is not much in economy) for my back that I can get. I finally said so. But my discomfort should not be asked in such a case....when at first I though it might have something to do with some expected chop or the like."

Miinukset: "Leg room is terrible. I mean, the worst I've ever experienced on a long-haul international flight, terrible. The only saving grace was that the middle seat was empty. Why they got rid of the Comfort Class seats, I have no idea. These seat are just plain awful."
Plussat: "The service was outstanding, this is one of the best airlines I have ever flewn. Considering its elegancy and exquisite service. My twelve hours from Miami to Istanbul turned out to be less because of the amazing service I recieved. Very happy that this airline exist and cannot wait to go back and experience this great airline again."

Plussat: "Some employee was nice enough to help with the logistics of transferring my luggage onto an Aegean Airlines flight (which I booked on my own)."
Miinukset: "I missed my flight due to delays and the staff at the turkish airlines "transfer desk" at the Istanbul airport (Ataturk) would not help me transfer/rebook/book-anew so I could take the next plane. They wanted me to go outside the passport-controlled zone, to the turkish airlines ticketing office -- but that required a visa for Turkey!"
Plussat: "Was very comfortable. l like it"
Plussat: "Overall everything was great. Boarding was smooth with the help of the attentive flight attendants. They were professional and attentive through out the entire flight. I enjoyed the hot towels they passed out after we reached altitude. The chicken dinner was delicious, the eggs for breakfast not so great (eggs should be eaten soon after cooking) perhaps pancakes and sausage have a longer shelf life. I also enjoyed the snacks that were available through out the flight. The The flight was on time and I had no problems connecting to my flight to Berlin. The Istanbul airport was very busy and I was pleased that the airport staff were helpful with directions."
Plussat: "Service is always super nice ! Food is awesome. Snacks are great and I love the fresh squeezed orange juice. (They offer alcoholic beverages for who's interested, as well.) Kids menu is good, too."
Miinukset: "Seat spacing on a 13 hour flight is just about ok not to freak out ... Luckily one Neighbour was my 4 1/2 year old son and the other a very nice man who kept walking around a lot during the flight... seats felt hard and outdated as well."
Flight left Berlin with ca. 20 min delay, but arrived to Vienna in time
The boarding at the Vienna airport was an absolute chaos; no rhyme or reason, no order just everyone shoving; I thought I was in some 3rd world country where the concept of organization and order has not reached 21st century. The web site is one of the worst, not intuitive or clear at all; it took me forever to book a seat and having to pay for it, another slap in the face. I traveled with Austrian air many times but this was just so frustrating and disappointing.

Miinukset: "My complaints go to something not directly linked to the flight crew. 1. When boarding, I like to see when passengers are called in groups relating to distant seats in the plane such that they do not step over each other during luggage placement. That is more comfortable than let the crowd enter randomly. 2. I notice people enter the cabin with 2, even 3 pieces of luggage. Even though each one has proper dimensions, they overload the overhead compartments and it is hard for everybody to place his/her belongings in a suitable way. 3. The rows in the airplane seems to have gotten closer ti each other. It is not the airlines fault, except perhaps when choosing whose airplanes to buy...but again, there are only two major contenders in that segment. For overseas flights, it is pretty uncomfy. 4. Lastly, unboarding the plane could also be performed (enforced by the crew) to be in a more civil fashion rather than haveing5 a stampedo - again calling separate grouos of rows in the name of fairness, or simply vacating it row by row from the front to back."

Paid $120 or so for the second luggage!!!??? After decades flying Austrian I will try switching to your competitors."

Plussat: "Even though I was very disappointed at what the Austrian airline did to me, the staff and crew and captains where professional and the flight was comfortable especially on Lufthansa. However, I missed the experience of enjoying the flight with the group of people that I joined on the way to Vienna and to Egypt."
Miinukset: "I didn't like the fact that they cancelled my Austrian flight to a completely different company (Lufthansa). I paid extra money when I reserved the tickets in the USA to make sure I am on the same plane as the other three families that i wanted to be with as a group. They had reserved their tickets and I got the flight numbers and when I reserved my booking I paid extra to be on the same airplane as the rest of the group. My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"

Plussat: "So I had to fly to Munich, and rather than flying direct on terrible United, I took a connecting flight via Vienna. Flight was full yet still departed on time and even arrived early. The seat was comfortable and flight went very smoothly. Food served on board was perfectly edible. Disembarking also went without problems. The flight staff even accommodated the requests of a particularly nasty Russian family seated behind me even though they were total jerks. I was very impressed with their professionalism."

I was told the flight was full without the attendant even checking, flight was actually not even close to full. Nobody wanted to help and do their job, they just want to send you on your way."

Miinukset: "Shuttle bus from the terminal took awhile to leave to the plane. No air conditioning to the shuttle. Very hot. Was uncomfortable."

Plussat: "I flew to Venice on Austrian Airlines to make a connection on an Air Canada flight to Toronto. When we debarked from the Austrian Airline onto the tarmac and picked up our luggage, I could find no signs indicating where to go for connecting flights, nor any signs indicating the gates of connecting flights. I was told that to make a connecting flight, I should go out to the main lobby of the airport, At the information desk they directed me to the Air Canada check in desk, where I found the check-in for my flight was closed. That was the the beginning of a nightmare chase to get to the plane to Toronto. I made it only because of the kindness of people in the check in, security and customs lines. Austrian Airlines should be kinder to its passengers making connecting flights. They seemed to abandon us passengers in a chaotic airport."

Like: The flight attendants Do better: be on time. You informed us of a 25 minute delay…..that turned into over an our….probable cause - under staffed baggage handling to load the plane. In Newark we waited in excess of 30 minutes to see our luggage so we could transfer to our next domestic connection. Result - missed connection. Probable cause - under staffed or poorly functioning baggage handling.
No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔

The cabin crew got them to put up their seats for the food service, but otherwise there was nothing they could do. Can't we just tell people that coach doesn't have the room to recline. Also, you guys are German, can't we at least board by rows?"

For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."

Dear Sir, The flight was delayed for 2 hours. After 2 hours the flight was cancelled and KLM was trying to transfer us to another flights. Unfortunately there is no flight to Manchester which led us to cancel our flight booking with KLM and rebook with Qatar airways to catch the flight same day. Regards Amjad Juma
Short flights there is no food and no drinks, such as coffee juice, only water.
When boarding started, it was like refugees rushing to a life boat. Everyone was rushing to the front. Only one KLM staff standing there saying "... now is this group, yours is next,,,, we will call it out...." While he stopped some travelers, he did allowed some others passed without even checking their ticket. They have all the digital gears, and the screens to show the current boarding sequences, why don't they just use that. For some of us that did not have a excellent hearing, it was hard not trying to get closer to understanding what is going on.
I do not know how, but, rude crew and counter personnel is here, rest of things looks pretty standard without any difference with other airlines, that was not the case in the past

Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy! We ended up flying from Toronto to Paris then to Bordeaux. Lost my upgrade money for seats. Now have to deal with KLM for refund!"
NEVER book through Kayak. First they booked us on a flight that didn’t exist and after they fixed the problem, we had to leave a day later then expected. Then because we were booked under SAS, but outsourced to a United flight for our first connection (because SAS doesn’t fly to Cincinnati), we were told our bag couldn’t be routed to our final destination so when we arrived in Newark, we’d have to get our bag from baggage claim, re-check it, and get our new tickets for the rest of our flight. Of course this caused us to miss the connecting flight to Copenhagen, and once rebooked, we lost another 2 days of our trip and added an additional country/ stop to the journey. And finally on our flight from Belgium to Venice, my baggage was lost, causing us to cancel the remaining few days of our trip (we were supposed to be hiking and all of our gear was lost in that bag). Since we booked under Kayak, we were punted around from Kayak to SAS to United customer service reps, everyone passing the blame off on the next company. Kayak claims no responsibility and the airlines refer you back to Kayak. Probably would have had as much satisfaction by setting a pile of $5,000 on fire. What a honeymoon.
Accommodating crew: forgot to order vegetarian food and they were able to find something. Paid US$60 extra for preferred room and it really was more room! Also bid on first class upgrade and got it in one direction!
My flight was delayed. They rebooked my ticket by flying to Bergen to Oslo, Oslo to Copenhagen then Copenhagen to SFO. Once I got to Oslo, the flight was delayed again going to Copenhagen. By the time, I got to Copenhagen, my flight to SFO was already boarding. I had to run one mile from terminal A to terminal E and was stuck in customs because of the long line. The good thing is that half of the passenger for the SFO flight were also stuck in the custom line with me so the plane had to wait for all of us.
We booked through Kayak and ended up with tickets from a 3rd party named Chatdeal. They never notified us of a flight timechange of flight leaving 5 hours earlier. That time change happened months before from what I found out and we obviously never made it on the plane. They were not able to book us the following day because they" hadnt heard back from the airlines". At this time I have been waiting over 2 weeks to get any update about a refund or a rebooking despite reaching out both by phone and chat. From my point of view they are scamming people until I see that refund for a mistake that they made and it resulted in me not being able to see my mother who is dying. Any reach out from Kayak to hold them accountable would be appreciated.
Worst airline ever. Pilot strike and bankruptcy was the best part of the experience. The website didn’t work to purchase specified seats, no one answered the phone, and I couldn’t even enter any birthdate on their website for anyone born on the first of a month without getting an invalid date error. If any airline ever deserved what to go bankrupt it’s this one. And after booking 9 people to take a once in a lifetime trip for my 90 year old father to travel back to his homeland we will likely never see the $12,000 we spent on tickets. Then because of the late cancellation we had to pay $16,000 for less convenient flights with another airline.
I missed two connections because the flights were late. I was given a substitute itinerary that had more layovers in different cities, one of which was Oslo, which is quite possibly the worst airport I’ve ever experienced. I arrived to my destination 3 hours later than expected, which made my taxi ride to my hotel more expensive because of traffic. And then to top it all off, they misplaced my luggage. And as I watch it move through their system because of an AirTag placed in my suitcase, it’s quite clear that they are in no hurry to get it to my hotel.
The most comfortable business class seat/bed I have experienced. A lot of room to stow all your stuff. And excellent food and service, to boot!

Miinukset: "I had requested an aisle seat and on both flights to and from Stockholm and Chicago had to sit on the very last row in the middle seat between 2 people who seemed to exceed the "weight allowance" that seem so important now when you flight unless you spend a lot a money on the ticket and it then becomes irrelevant !!"
Plussat: "Everything about the flight was fine. Boarding, flying and retrieving luggage were all standard and went smoothly."
Miinukset: "I was upset that neither Kayak nor SAS provided any information about our ticket being a basic, basic ticket, by which I mean, did not include any checked luggage allowance in the price of the flight. I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."

They upgraded me without my asking... to an economy plus exit row, so I had lots of room during the 8 hour flight to Copenhagen. The plane was new - an Airbus A330 - and the flight crew was friendly and helpful."

The in-plane entertainment system is not activated (nor on my return flight), so they hand out i-pads with a very limited movie/TV show selection- one more piece of electronics to handle. Would have been difficult juggling, along with work computer, etc. if all seats were filled."
