The hostesses were super friendly always offering some sort of beverage, the food was tasty (Be careful not to drop noodles on yourself like I did, those bad boys left a little mark). The video selection wasn't huge, but it was definitely adequate with good titles. Maybe I haven't noticed this before in other airlines, but they had new toothbrushes (packaged, not someone's forgotten toothbrush) in the restroom so the poor sap next to me didn't have to smell my stinky breath. Finally, they were quick with boarding! They were very punctual and we took off right when we got on, so nice!"
Miinukset: "The seats were pretty adequately sized, however, I felt like I couldn't lay back too far or if the the person in front of me did, it made it really difficult to get the seats. Also, I thought it was my headphones, but it happened on a couple of flights with different headphones, but the audio only comes out of one earphone which was slightly annoying... Other than those things, JAL is super solid and I would recommend it to anyone considering them."

Plussat: "With Japan Airlines, there is never a doubt in my mind they are going to be the best airline of choice. I was running late to my flight into Haneda to fly out to Singapore. I literally arrived to the front desk 15 minutes before the plane departed. The ladies at the front desk were very aware of my urgency and walked me threw the crew line and got me to my gate without a missed flight. I cannot thank you enough for the kind and generous work you do."

I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

Plussat: "Although I felt Qatar responded poorly to the cancelled flight, the actual flying experience was wonderful and made me forget about the extreme inconvenience and poor customer service regarding the cancelled flight."
Miinukset: "My flight got cancelled ten minutes before boarding. Workers gathered phone numbers and told us they would call to direct us a new flight. However, no calls were ever made. I had to call the airline multiple times to get an answer about a new flight. In my first call, the customer service was rude. There was also zero compensation for the inconvenience."

Plussat: "Qatar airlines was awesome! Comfy seat, great headrest, lots of entertainment options and decent food all on a very short flight. Would definitely fly this airline again!"

Miinukset: "I had 2 checked in luggage, and both TSA lock on it was cut. Since it was TSA lock, I do not understand why both locks were cut instead of being opened with the international key. it cost me 10 USD it for the locks."

Plussat: "I was the third person in the line. The ticket agent couldn't find my ticket as multiple tickets were booked on my name and all tickets showed X mark. After 20-30 minutes of wait, I finally got my ticket but the security and custom lines were very long by that time. Never flying Qatar again."

Qatar Airway is a hyper money hungry scammer who catches customers to rip money off from and creates a super tedious and painful experience for customers to ensure their private gains!!! Qatar Airway was delayed for more than an hour at the first departing airport! NO APOLOGIES OR MUCH EXPLANATION OF ANY KIND!! This is just how mindful and courteous they are. It sets the base tone of what this airline is made of. Then at the connecting airport, they closed the gate minutes before the departing time claiming the gate closes 20 minutes before the departing time, knowing they are leaving customers behind who has checked in and just haven’t arrived at the gate yet. And I arrived the gate minutes before the departure time. They can’t wait?! If so, why is it ok for them to delay for an hour without any explanation not to mention apology? Sure there are RULES. But remember what kind of airlines will have tons of rules that will guarantee you to fail?! Almost always the most shady, scammy and money hungry airlines who use ridiculous or ad hoc made RULES to set pitfalls for customers and ensure their profit gains by doing so!! Remember those European cheap airlines?!! They have tons of rules. You are set to fail even you have a smaller bags than some passengers who passed the gate without penalty. You are just unlucky – they set eyes to catch opportunities to rip you off whenever they can and whenever they are in the mood to be able to come up with lame excuses. With normal airlines, you realize your luggage which has been slightly overweight or over sized will be able to pass through without incurring any penalties. So any saying of rules are lame excuses and are shitty airlines’ lame excuses. The thing is good airlines will delay their flight a few minutes to wait for the passenger. If this is considered too needy of a requirement, then what happens next will shock you and reaffirm you how wrongful and shady this airline is. After missing the flight despite you arrived before the departing time, you have to purchase a full price ticket in order to fly again. As I declined to fly with them again since the ticket is too pricey and repurchased a ticket with another airline, they came up with an excuse that in order to release my luggage, they have to reissue a new flight ticket: so I have to pay both a luggage release fee and a flight ticket fee!!! What a gold digger Qatar Airway is haha. Luckily as I protested, they eventually didn’t make me to pay for a new flight ticket fee except a luggage release fee (really?). The sales office quoted a price of $250 to the luggage office. Then it took me a few minutes to get to the sales office. Strange thing happened, despite I mentioned the communication they are aware of, they are trying to find some “RULES” again to validate that I have to pay for an air ticket. I emphasized that is not the case. As I get irritated, guess what they did? They managed to come up with another excuse that in or"

Miinukset: "They supposed to provide Wheel chair for my elderly mother in Law who had a foot fracture, was very hard /painful to walk. I confirmed the wheelchair option well advance before her travel date in Qatar Airways Web site. I got the confirmation also in the Qatar Airways Web site. I usually fly with my family as I have a big family with couple of children and elderly. I will never fly Qatar again, this was the 1st and the last fly with Qatar airways."

Miinukset: "You guy do not give kid food first or the kid can not board earlier than others. I had to walk back and forth because nobody tell me exactly how can I get in the hotel. It took me more than 30'walk with the little boy. The woman gave me hotel voucher also gave me wrong informations. Which took me long time to pass the screen scan that I do not need it. I was so up set when the guy wanted to conform the hotel voucher while I already had it. I had to walk with luggage and the baby. It was terrible while I was not feeling well and my son wanted to sleep."

Plussat: "The Cabin crew was amazing, the ICE entertainment has many options of movies and programs, the flight was smooth to Singapore."

Miinukset: "When boarding from JFK the plane was like a Sauna. The ACs were not working till the plane took off. So for an hour we were in a hot Sauna in an A380 supposedly the best airplane that Emirates has. That has never happened in Emirates flight earlier btw"

Miinukset: "I was unable to get an aisle seat therefore I was stuck in an middle seat. I am rather tall and the man on the window seat was morbidly obese and half of him was sitting on top of me for most of the flight. He also sweated all over me, snoredand snorted for the whole flight. I spent much of the flight standing and now have terrible leg oedema. It was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever been on. the flight was full so there were no reseating options apparently. It was extremely unpleasant."

In-flight service was frequent with many stops to check on the passengers of a very full flight. Wonderful and attentive service, even when juggling such a large number of passengers. I was very impressed with the work ethic of this crew."
Miinukset: "The flight attendants on the Dubai to Singapore flight were surprisingly unhelpful. It was a mostly empty flight and yet during this flight, there were very infrequent beverage service. When I activated my call flight attendant button, no one stopped by. This included at least 3 different flight attendants passing me, some more than a few times, and not once did anyone stop. After waiting for 10 - 15 minutes, I turned off the light and went to the galley part of the plane, only to find a group of flight attendants socializing. I requested a drink and it was handed to me without the attendant every making eye contact as the attendant still was facing and engaged in their conversation. This is not the first time I have experienced this on an Emirates flight so I think the staff training may need to be reinforced. Business class service on Emirates is quite good. But I fly both Economy and Business class. The experiences in Economy did affect my decision on which airline I generally fly with for business class travel."

Plussat: "On that route the plane can be quite empty on the Melbourne-Singapore leg, meaning lots of space to sleep in coach."

Miinukset: "Actually I was disturbed that CX offers a tabloid newspaper like Apple daily, especially at this sensitive stage when hk is going through such turmoil instigated and supported by Jimmy Lai’s group. It is offensive that such a biased newspaper is on offer, when there are other Chinese newspaper with a more neutral stand. Cathy has been viewed as a sympathiser of “yellow” rioters because of its involvement by management n crew. Now it just brings it more to the memory how CX might be what the leaked reports that many equipment has been compromised by CX crew onboard. Many of CX customers are from middle class, and it could be a big turn-off. It is unwise to patronise a tabloid newspaper when the owner has been named by China as the culprit of the recent troubles in hk. It’s like offering Al Jazeera news on united airlines entertainment........During the whole trip, I was captivated by these thoughts."

Plussat: "BC middles seats are good for couples and one of the better laid out BC’s. Service was good but maybe not as JAL, ANA, or SQ."
Miinukset: "The console storage/center tables was splattered with coke or coffee and was not properly wiped down during cleaning."

Plussat: "The crew was understanding of our situation. We had a layover in Hong Kong and they moved us to the front in hopes that we will get out quicker to make the next flight."

Miinukset: "Hi. I want you to pay me back half of my air tickets that I paid+ my expenses that I spent. I bought from you air tickets with Scoot airlines from H.K to Singapore on 30 December and back to H.K on the 3 January. when I came to the H.K airport to check in with scoot airlines they said to me that I can't go to Singapore because my passport expired on 2 of June and it's less than 6 months if I want to go to Singapore I need to have in my passport more than 6months. sow in the end I lost the ticket to Singapore and not only this I went back to H.K I toke a room in the hotel 150$ and the day after I went to the embassy of Israel to extend my passport and I bought a new air tickets with Cathay Pacific 350$ to go to Singapore. its mean that I lost my ticket +500$ .and all this because you never informed me that my passport needs to be valid more than 6 months . you can see also in your letter its written there that my passport need to be valid there is not any thing about 6 months. if you was telling me that before I could change my passport. sow pleas I insist that you will pay me back half on my ticket that I lost + my expenses 500$. if I will not get it back my story will be all over in the internet about you I suffered a lot"

What WAS their fault, was the AWFUL, AWFUL MUSIC played over the PA during the wait. It was like Chinese water torture. After more than 15 hours on the plane, it was a repetitive loop that they probably thought would be soothing, but it made me want to scream."

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed due to weather, and this seemed to frazzle the flight crew. Pre-takeoff service of water and juice or champagne was only give to one side of the premium cabin, and when I asked if they would complete it for the other side after take-off was told no. I'm used to Cathay taking our orders and being back what we ask for for a premium experience, however on this trip they just brought everything on carts and asked people what they wanted on the spot, offering no suggestions. Overall the service on this CX 889 flight seemed to be severely underpar for what I expect from Cathay"

Miinukset: "The baggage allowance was atrocious at just 20kg, when all other airlines already have much greater baggage allowance. Even though the baggage allowance has been updated to a higher amount as of September, their system still tagged on the 20kg amount to the date of ticket purchase."
