The plane boarded late but they would not give anyone an estimate as to when they’d be boarding to allow people to go to the nearby lounge. The in-flight crew was awesome, and the premium economy is well worth it. Wish they allowed purchasing of business class upgrades, only allowed with points. Food on this flight not as good as their usual. Not many new movies to watch. Overall comfortable flight

Most of my selected seats were changed to seats I did not want.
Again, lots of space, bug seats, plenty of legroom -served me dinner after I slept through the meal service.

They also have some deal with fast food restaurants, Mos Burger and Yoshinoya so sometimes you can get their air version of the fast-food meals. I had Yoshinoya and it was pretty good. The entertainment was okay, the only 2 things I wanted to watch was John Wick 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, but the movies change every month so it was probably a bad batch. Also free toothbrushes and toothpaste available on the plane and a self service snack area. Overall it was great."

I had to sleep in a sleeping bag in the airport overnight by myself."

It was harrestment for senior citizon like me. From Dubai to sanfransico it was very bed experiance. I had arthoscopi in my right leg and requsted wheelchair when ibook my flight. But due to havy demand for wheel chair i was not getting wheel chair facility. The lady on duty compel me to walk behind her to get security procedure. I request her that i have troble walking with her. I have to walk to get my connection flight

Misleaded at Dubai by airline staff that airport counter would open 3 hours before flight departure whereas we found and told at counter it was opened 48 hours before flight departure. Faced lots of inconvenience in allocation of complimentary seats. I speak with other co-passengers in the flight and found single complimentary aisle seats were allocared to passengers. They same opportunity was not extend to others having more than 1 seats in the flight."

Not only did they (Maldivian Emirates counter officer Ibrahim Shinad) refused to give me a lounge they said to get a room at a hotel was $400 US! Which is absurd. I had to sleep on metal chairs. They also closed most shops by 12am and by the time we landed and went through checkin it was 1130. Not a pleasant experience at all."

I called the Garuda contact number in the U.S. twice and was told there was nothing that could be done from the US and I would have to take care of it when I arrived in Bangkok. I probably will never fly Garuda again so it really will not be a problem."

The music section is terrible, I was not able to recognize any of the artist. It is sad that they don't take their entertainment system seriously. With their service and new fleet, you will expect to have a great entertainment system but sadly it is not."

Miinukset: "Due to the enormous inside volume it is impossible to maintain a pleasant air temperature. It's nearly impossible to hear any announcements due to the extremely poor acoustics. The large open spaces and ceramic tile floors aren't conducive to hearing anything! No announcement to the departure time as we were already 20 minutes past the established boarding time as indicated on the boarding pass. I was sitting quite close to the check-in counter and was able to decipher that the boarding process was going to happen soon, so I took a position in the line without any announcement."

They handed out a fancy menu with 4 entrees but by the time they got to economy only pasta was left. We did at least get a small bottle of water; on our outgoing flight they doled it out in meager glasses. When boarding in Hong Kong we had to go through an additional security check between the gate and the plane (that was a first...) and had our water bottles confiscated. So we were reliant on what they would give us on the plane. Seats were tight, unlike some airlines that give you a little extra room. Wouldn't fly again unless their price was a real bargain."

Miinukset: "6 and a half hours delayed. Poor communications from the airline about the delay and when the flight would leave. Some of the times given were clearly unrealistic as equipment was still in-route to DFW at departure time"

Miinukset: "Plane got delayed for an hour, WITHOUT any air conditioning. I forgot what the captain said about the HKG airport not capable of providing air conditioning to the plane. Anyway, I began sweating after 10 mins, and it sucks."
Plussat: "Flight attendant spoke good Mandarin and was willing to continue to speak it even to someone who didn't look like a Chinese speaker - unlike some Chinese airlines where they launch into English assuming that if you don't look Chinese you can't speak Chinese."
Miinukset: "A glass of wine or beer would have been lovely."

Miinukset: "We were scammed by Kayak and Cathay Pacific. We had entered all our information correctly: first, middle, and last name. Cathay Pacific did not print the middle name of the boarding pass. Apparently, Hong Kong is strictly on the passport exactly matching the boarding pass. We were stopped before security and Cathay Pacific decided it was the perfect opportunity to charge us $400 for a rebooking instead of amending the name, which we had entered correctly in the first place. We were pushed back and forth between kayak and cathay when kayak told us they weren't able to change the name on the day of the flight. Will never fly cathay or book from kayak again."

Miinukset: "Flight in hongkong had a 10 hour layover and I was not helped with the hotel fees. Landing in JFK my flight was delayed 3 times then finally cancelled. I was asked to go to LGA for an 830 flight to PIT. The airline did not help cover any transport fees (IT WAS $14 USD!) Seriously?! And the bags did not get changed to the other terminal. Once I got to LGA my flight was cancelled and I was rebooked for the next morning. The airline did nothing to help me with a hotel or transport, absolutely nothing. I arrived at the airport for the 12:30 flight but that was delayed until 2:30 then 3:30 then 4:30 and eventually took off at 5:30. I was given no sympathy from any of the staff I interacted with. Everyone was rude to me, I did my best to remain civil and did not at anytime raise my voice. Although, looking at other customers it seems if I had made a fit or raised my voice I would have gotten better service. Absolutely ridiculous, I am never flying cathay again."

Checking in Staff could not print my boarding pass for all my travel legs. We requested to print all boarding pass from the departing airport (Atlanta) and they said they can not do that. We have never experienced something like this in other flights for International travel.

Miinukset: "Didnt like? Everything. Ataturk is filthy and literally reeks. Gate crews, ticket counter personnel, flight crews are pretty rude and simply refuse to answer direct questions if they dont want to. Seem genuinely displeased if they have to bother speaking any language but their own to communicate with international passengers. Customer Service i believe is merely a joke to the entire company. If i was a religious person i would pray no one ever has to use their feedback system or try to communicate with their customer service group by phone. Thats what i get for being American i guess, just higher hygiene standards and expectations on service for the price paid."
Plussat: "The New York operation seemed much better. Our flight arrived late and was met by airline representatives looking to help passengers with tight connections. Arriving transfer passengers must go through Turkish airport security. Turkish security did set up an operation right at the gate. This both expedited things and relieved the stress of going through the process far from the gate."
Miinukset: "Seat was very uncomfortable. The plane was an older Boeing 777 (it had no winglets) and I think the seat cushion was the original one. Turkish Airlines does not communicate with its passengers. If the flight is late (as both of ours were), you wait with no information as to when the flight leaves. The same lack of communication occurs once you on board. I joked to my wife that the cargo on a Fed-Ex flight is given more information."

Miinukset: "1. Aweful legspace and overall space: I am 5'11'' and an average guy. It was like fitting myself into a cage. 2. Ground management is very bad. I felt that in both Boston and in Istanbul. They make people wait and the queue becomes long to adjust their delays. My flight from Istanbul to Dhaka was scheduled at 3:40 am. They started boarding passagers at around 3:10 am. Before that, they even bothered to show up at the boarding bridge, let alone informing people about their delay. The behavior of the groud crew was an embarrassment."

I have tried number of companies I can tell Turkish airline is committed to time and staff are well organised and professional."

Plussat: "Even though I had two different bookings for connections, since they were all handled by them, they offered me to send my lugagge to the final destination"
Miinukset: "In all the flights I took with them (7 so far), Service was reactive, not proactive. In fact, there was one time in which I asked for some water in a long flight (because they dont offer from time to time as other companies do, and I was truly polite in my request) and the guy from the crew told me 'please go and fetch'. I had to point these two huge guys sleeping next to me I had no relation with (I was at the window seat) for him to realize that he was being ridiculous."

Miinukset: "This flight was for my mother, who is an old woman. On her way back from Belgium to Chicago, she has a layout more than 14 hrs. In this case the Turkish airlines were responsible to offer her a stay in a hotel, however this time they did not offer her any."
