I paid over $1500 for the flight. I requested a refund, but all they gave me in return was $100.
I found it a little upsetting that I had a backpack and carry-on luggage and was unable to place the carry-on luggage in the overhead bin because it was full. Therefore, I had to place the carry-on luggae underneath my seat which left me virtually no space, and the gentleman sitting next to me was kind enough to place my backpack under his seat. We also departed 30 minutes late. However, the crew did apologize for the flight delay.
Couldn't change passenger, had to ignore this flight and lost 500€. Never Kayak again!

Airlines need to do more to help travellers with quick connections get off the plane first. Why do they board planes from the front? It makes more sense to start the boarding from the back.
No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔

Negligent in informing us rapier when i chose seats for the flight. The flight was also delayed 2 and a half hours. We now have no vacation for which we paid $3000."

Delta operated. Missed connecting flight due to single late crew member in dfw. 1.5 h late. Missed work and incurred costs of over $800. Delta failed to hold connecting flight(s) at gate and it actually left EARLY. Fail. Never again.
Almost the only airline that offers free coffee and bread even in short 1 hour flights

I arrived at Schiphol Airport 3 hours before my flight and queued outside the airport for at least an hour before ever setting a foot inside the actual building. I understand the staff shortages but I never expected things to be as bad as they were. I missed the flight because I was still behind 100’s of people waiting to get through security when my gate closed. I had a connection as well that I obviously missed. I ended up paying €170.00 for a hotel and had to buy a new flight home the next day.
On a way to plain outside didn’t had a lift so it was hard to get there by myself and 4 months old baby with pram Changing table in place it’s so hard for baby
Boarding at Luton is not the most pleasant. Standing in queue for 1 hour 😕

The online check in did not go through. In case of no online check-in, Ryan Air charges an extra 55 pounds before the flight to check in at the counter. What a cheap way to get extra money from customers. Even the employees are aware and seem sheepish to have to ask for this extra charge. Very disappointing experience of an otherwise standard flying experience

Plussat: "I paid extra to allocate seat upon booking. When I went to check in I was asked to pay for seats again. We then had to sit separately. Upon boarding we were asked to pay £25 each for our hand luggage - even though we fly every month with Ryanair back and forth and have never paid before. Rude staff"

In summary, Ryan Air is a scam and an embarrassment to the industry."

Miinukset: "The "preboarding method". Waiting standing up for an hour. Comfort on board is quite "Spartan", meaning not enough room for anything, no amenities for free, etc, etc..."

This caused a block to the bathrooms and people waiting long periods and finally just stuffing in all over the place to get passed the carts. Expensive flight for us since we had to buy the same day. While most of the security attendants were great, I did have to wait a very long time to get a pat down I requested rather than go through the scanner (required to be in a separate room) that was 95% the same as the one they were giving everyone after they came through the scanner, with the only difference being a hand and belt line swipe and paperwork. I have had this same procedure done in three airports prior on this trip and all were more aggressive/thorough and did not require a separate room and extreme wait. Though again, all the female staff were great."

Miinukset: "As a non-EU passport holder, Ryan Air didn't communicate when I would be receiving my boarding pass (answer: 3 days prior to flying). Also, I needed to print my boarding pass because of my non-EU status. I found all of this out last minute and it was a little stressful while I was abroad since printers weren't at my disposal. On the day of my flight, everything went smoothly until they made me check my bag at the gate before boarding because they claimed my bag was too big and wanted to save room for other carry-ons. It's not, I've complied with all the dimensions and weight policies. Additionally, I purchased priority boarding for the sole reason of securing a place for my carry-on. I found all of this out when I was on the tarmac. The staff wasn't nice about it and I was overall irritated by the lack of communication. While I was in flight, the staff kept trying to sell duty-free products such as perfumes, food and other goods. This would have been fine for a bit but they literally filled the airwaves during the 45 minute trip with product announcements and pricing on the intercom system and trolling the galley holding stuff up the air. It felt like I was at a hectic auction house. Really odd and annoying."

Miinukset: "Part of the issue was the airport I left from which was Mykonos because it is unorganized. But most of the issues were from Ryanair, I check in a week advance (which is odd because most flights it's 24hrs before) they charged my 20 € for early check in but I am glad I did that because people at the airport who did not check in were charged 50 € at the airport. Then I remeber selecting that I had one bag to check in but after waiting in line and getting to the front desk the Ryaniar staff told me no I did not pay for the bag that I would have to go to basically the other side of the airport to pay for one 50 lb bag. This came to approx. 40 €, then had to run back try to go to the front of the line just to show her my receipt and then she glanced at it and told me ok go load the bag myself onto the carousel. This in all took be 1.5 hours then the security line was another hour, basically just made the flight. Then we got on the plane and the crew was so horribly rude, yelling at the passengers that they will not repeat themselves a second time. It was only an hour flight so you had to buy your own snacks and water which I have seen before but this was way overpriced and the stew didn't even come back to pick up the garbage and when I asked her where can I put this she told me throw it out when I get off the plane. All in all I will never fly Ryanair again, even though the ticket appeared a bit cheaper when you first purchase it really is a scam because they get you on a check in fee and bag fee which no other airline charges like Olympic or Aegan."
