Miinukset: "Short connection time - way too short for this size airport. Never book a transfer in Istanbul with less than 2.5 hrs connection time. The airport adherence to covid social distancing rules was a joke. I think it was the worst experience and provoked a lot of stress. The boarding was also chaotic and business class did not board separately. The Meals on board were poor - fish or lamb (smelly) they quickly run out of pasta in business class. This whole experience was bad."

Miinukset: "I picked a window seat very early on through a phone call to a Turkish Airline agent in the USA, but when I checked in online, the seat assigned to me was gone and I was put in a middle seat while there were many other seats available. This erasure of the record and random seat assignment nullify the effort on the part of the passenger (making a call is not a trivial act these days because of the long waits) and generate uncertainty in the minds of the travellers. Hope you can improve on this point. That will make an even better impression on the passengers."

Miinukset: "because your flight from Sarajevo to Istanbul was delayed we missed the connection to the SFO flight and had to stay another 24 hours in Turkey + pay $60 for visas......this was a connection that you had scheduled!"
Plussat: "I did like the food, very nice stuff."
Miinukset: "I order some to help to find my gate for a another international flight,but no one came. For such long flight, definitely need to have sits with more space. Very hard to flight in such tight space"
Miinukset: "Late into the flight there appeared to be a medical emergency taking place just a few rows ahead of me. No announcement was made; it was as though we were expected to ignore the situation. But with the lights in the cabin turned on, a small crowd gathered, and the passenger being vocal in his distress .. . a brief announcement would have been nice: Situation under control, no need to worry, flight will continue as scheduled. The passenger had a relapse a few hours later - again no acknowledgement from the crew to reassure those of us who could hear his cries of distress."

Miinukset: "As all airplanes, seats are somewhat cramped, and the food, while good enough, is pretty much the same it is on every Turkish Airlines flight. Some more variety might be nice."

Miinukset: "The crew offered no help or solutions when I was denied af security and had to return to ticketing to check a bag. They refused to check the bag and caused me to miss the flight, and offered to rebook me for over $2000. Shady. Most unhelpful agents. You'd just better hope you don't have an issue, because the customer service is some of the worst I've experienced. Won't fly them again."
Plussat: "Professional and friendly staffing, comfortable flight."
Miinukset: "We realized when boarding to first flight that they did not included my son on next connection flight...oops when it was addressed they fixed it in a professional matter with appologies at boarding."
Plussat: "Great food! Also, the selection of movies and TV and other entertainment choices was wide. Seats weren't bad for an overnight flight."

Plussat: "Delicious food, amenities kit with socks, slippers, earplugs, toothpaste and more, fantastic entertainment system, power plugs and USB plugs at every seat."
Miinukset: "The laptop on board ban is a mess. As we were flying to the US, we had to go through literally 4 security checks one after the other. Then, all of our electronics (laptop, camera, even headphones) other than our phones had to be taken. As everyone had to go through it , this delayed our flight by 1 hour. When we landed, we waited literally 1.5h before they started handing out our electronics. All in all, it took me 4 hours to leave the airport."
Plussat: "Best food I've had on an airplane, the warm towels before the first meal were a nice touch."

Miinukset: "Check-in and boarding were chaotic and poorly organized. In-flight crew was not very courteous or friendly. Entertainment system was old and didn't function properly. Bathrooms were never cleaned on 9 hour flight."
Plussat: "My wife says when liked Turkish airlines staff more than her travel on other airlines. She is very happy with her flight."
Miinukset: "My first time flying with Turkish probably my last. Too many delays, first from SF to Istanbul and then the worse part no one was able to tell me from which gate my flight to TLV, I received at least 6 emails from you saying a different gate each time and we had a delay almost two hours in Istanbul. Because of all the delays I missed a few important phone conferences regarding my business. Unprofessional service! if I was running my business the same way I had no business! Not going to do this mistake again!"

Miinukset: "On my flight to Greece the wheel on my suitcase was broken. I tried to address this on the day of my departure & was told it's too late to put in a claim. This was a bit upsetting to me. I didn't realize that a wheel had broken until I left the airport. On the way to where we we're staying the 2nd wheel broke, thus I had to drag my suitcase the rest of the way."

Miinukset: "The entertaintment screen at my seat wasn't able to play videos. The comfort would be excellent if there would be a foot support."
Plussat: "Two full meals, snacks and drinks, a toiletry kit, and hand lotion in the bathroom. For a very long flight, it was very comfortable!"
Miinukset: "They ran out of homemade lemonade with fresh mint before I got any, and by the time I used the restroom, it was relatively unsanitary."
Plussat: "I enjoyed the food service, the hot towel, and the amenity kit.Turkish Airlines is the best out of all airlines I've flown."
Miinukset: "No personal air breeze, USB did not work to charge my phone, and the seats are a bit old fashioned small."
Plussat: "Everything was good except the airplane.. i was on row 13 and the cabinet was warm and air-condition was not working fine.. i reported this ti the flight attendant. She confirmed the temp was set to 23 C however it was definitely not less that 26C .. also it took long time to serve the hot meal although we were on rhe plane and the flight depart8 got delayed for 90 minutes due to technical problem. On the other hand, seat were comfortable and flight attendants were so nice and friendly.. also Turkish lounge and airport were good"
Plussat: "The services on the plane were fantastic. We were offered drinks right after take-off and entertainment was available immediately upon boarding. The food was delicious and plentiful. Drinks were offered several times throughout the flight which was not my experience with a different airline for my return flight. The choices of entertainment were current and of a good variety. Great flying experience."

Miinukset: "Our departure flight (BOS-IST) was changed 6 weeks after our booking, so our 2.5-hour layover became 10 hours. This happened before in my past experience with Turkish Airlines. There were many babies and small kids, so the noise level was high. Not ideal if you want to get some sleep on the flight."
Plussat: "The food and empty seats to move away from a screaming child. The crew were polite and helpful."
Miinukset: "The flight was 45 minutes late and we were glad we did not have a connecting flight. We stood in the boarding line for a long time."
Miinukset: "Our flight was canceled and we lost an entire day of our vacation (apartment rental, car rental, etc). Before leaving to Istanbul when we were in New York we asked if they would reroute our flights from New York City to Naples, Italy since the terrorist attack occurred in Istanbul causing the airport to be shut down. We were reassured that there would be no problems and we would be rerouted once we landed in Turkey, and lo and behold our flights were canceled. We had to spend the day in Turkey, pay for our own food, and pay for the visa €30 per person. This all could have been avoided had they rerouted our flights to another city."

Miinukset: "Gate attendant was very rude and charged me for an extra checked bag even though my bag fit into the sizer and I measured it before coming. He looked at it for two seconds and did not even put the bag all the way in the sizer. I tried arguing and he would not listen to me at all and just said “I’m done talking about it, either pay me or we will leave you here”. So I guess it’s their policy to hold you at ransom if your bag is even close to not fitting. Even worse, the plane was about 40% full and there was no shortage of room on the plane. They are crooks!"

Miinukset: "The plane was defective and they waited hours to change planes. There was one that we eventually used right next to it. Delayed three hours. The original destination was changed entailing a bus trip of four hours in the middle of the night. There was no one who gave any information on how to find the bus upon arrival."
Miinukset: "Small and uncomfortable airplane. No organization for boarding. They charge a 50€ fee if you don’t check in online, but the online app also purposefully separates passengers so you have to purchase seats together. So many fee charges not worth the aggravation."

Miinukset: "The airline charged me twice for my violin. I had already paid for my instrument when I did online check in. And I had to buy another seat for my instrument at the gate. The way I was treated by the staff was so impolite as well."
Plussat: "There are many horror stories on the web about flying RyanAir, so I expected the worst. My wife and I flew RT from Dublin to Koln. Although we carry on on all other airlines (in the US), we paid extra to check our carry on bags because of the Ryanair website, which sounded VERY strict about bag size and threatened to charge 50E or something per bag if ours were too big. Turns out all the other passengers had the same huge carry-ons as always. I probably wares the bag fee. Ryan requires you to print boarding passes before you get to the airport or they will charge 50E per person to print(!). The boarding process is a cattle call, but most people are polite with little shoving. The seats on the plane are hard and don't recline. All in all, we saved money and the flight was OK. Just know what to expect."

Plussat: "The morning flight was over an hour late with considerable time spent on the apron - the evening flight was equally late - I don't have a problem with planes being late - it happens due to weather etc. BUT. only if I am told what is happening, no information was provided whatsoever, this is not helpful...."

Miinukset: "I don't like the factory-"get em out, get em in" mentality. We were lined up and put outside before the plane was even de-boarded from its last flight. We watched (in the freezing cold) while the plane de-boarded and I'm thinking.....aren't they even going to clean the plane? I'm sure they go around and pick up trash but there is no way they would have time to clean the trays. Then we were whipped into the plane. The seats were the smallest I have EVER sat in. It was almost impossible to keep your arms off the arm-rests. I hate that you are penalized if you don't have a printed boarding-pass. We almost didn't as the web-site was down the day before we flew and we ALMOST couldn't get our boarding passes printed - due to no fault of ours. When we called to say the web site was down, there was NO HELP or understanding. Not sure I want to fly with Ryanair again."

Miinukset: "The seats are too small, there was too much light during the flight and no drinks are offered for free, not a single water glass."
Miinukset: "1.5 hours late on board, but they kept insisting it was on time. Don't know if hey were trying to avoid some kind of delayed statistic, but we landed in Rome over an hour late."

Miinukset: "Having to print out a boarding pass is almost impossible when travelling as no access to a printer. The check-in area at Dublin as poor signage as I needed to get my booking pass stamped & passports checked The seats didn't recline & because I am not tall the head rest curve pushes my head forward (on most planes) have gap behind neck so very uncomfortable only helped by reclining seat. Boarding messy as no seat order called hence isles blocked, most planes load back seats first keeping isles free, this plane had back & front stair gangways but weren't told."

Miinukset: "My checked bag price was more than the cost of my ticket. I didn't realize that there was no checked bag included in the price. Then when I went to the counter to check-in, I had to go to a separate window to pay for the bag, which took about 15min just to process. I have been on other airlines that have had upcharges, but these were taken care of by the same agent that checks you in, 1) I had a charge that I thought was included the price 2) II had to step out of line to a separate line in order to pay and then take the receipt of payment back to the gate agent. Really annoying, especially if you are pressed for time for your flight. It reminded me of Spirit airlines in the US, nickel and diming you all along, where you end up paying almost as much - or more - for a lot less. I had heard stories about the cheap ways of the airline. They have been confirmed and I won't fly them again."
Plussat: "Fly. The cost for the ticket for a great route, indeed was a nice option to flight"

Plussat: "Easy booking, easy self checkin, even though now have selected seats it's still a little bit like a cattle market as everybody is wanting overhead hand luggage space near by. Very quick flight without ant issue"
