Ground Staff in SFO were rude
Service was terrible. Flight attendants are rude. Almost feels like they’re doing you a favor. Skipped one of the meals on my row, when asked for water bottle they told me they didn’t have it. Didn’t pick up trash, skipped again for asking for a drink. Didn’t offer tea/coffee service at all. Overall very bad experience will not recommend or fly Qatar airways again
After 4 flights in one month with Qatar I opened up an account to become a member. I will not be using any other airline unless I absolutely have to.
Comfortable aircraft and excellent service.
Everything was up to date. Their is no issue. We expect your airline will be one of the best. Try to have more flights to different destinations. It will pay you more for your success.

I'm very happy with their customer service, the day before my first flight I received a phone call from Qatar's customer service saying that due to delays I wouldn't be able to make my connecting flight to Edinburgh so they would like to book me on another flight instead of me having to wait 24 hours in Doha. I was thoroughly impressed with this service."

Miinukset: "The boarding was not handled properly. There was a 40 mins delay, keeping in mind it was never mentioned on the screens. When seeking guidance from crew members about the flight's boarding different answers were given at different time. First it was no delay, just the plane getting closer to the gate, later followed by a 10 mins wait that later became over 30 mins. Once we finally made it on the flight, when requesting a beverage the only option given is water or orange juice and if you have any dietary restrictions (even when providing said information to the airline) you will remain without food on the shorter flights."

I had no cover as they threatened to if load my luggage and not let me fly home. Not a 5 start airline from any angle. Will never use Qatar again!!! This was my first and last flight with them."

Many of the business class seats had to be addressed by the crew manually by removing the cushions and forcing them to recline Crew responsiveness was great They were as affected by this as the passengers

Miinukset: "I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it."

Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Plussat: "My JFK to IST flight on Oct 21st, the plane was nice and new. The seats were comfortable and the entertainment was up to date. The food on this particular flight was good."
Miinukset: "According to the Turkish Airlines site they offer free accommodations to passengers who have over 10 hr layover in Istanbul if you are an economy passenger. I was under this impression that I would fall under this category because when I initially booked the ticket (JFK - IST - LIS and return LIS - IST - JFK) my layover back to JFK was 18 hours. Two weeks prior to leaving for my trip I received a notification saying that the layover will be extended to 34 hours. Seeing that my layover was extended, I thought that Turkish Airline would offer me accommodation for both nights. When I arrived to IST (10:30pm local time) I went to the Turkish Airline transfer desk in which they said they would not allow me to have the 2 nights accommodation. After about an hour and half of discussion they could only offer me one night accommodation and changed my flight to an earlier flight. The attendant who was serving me told me to wait by the kiosk until my name was called. At the 30 minute mark I tried to ask another kiosk attendant to see what the status was and he replied back in a very rude manner saying he has no idea what I'm referring to and that essentially was not his problem. After another hour and half of waiting and seeing other frustrated passengers going to the transfer desk and not being helped, I went on the queue to see what the status of my ticket was. They finally gave me my ticket and at this point it was close to 1am. Thankfully I did research before hand and under the assumption that I was going to spend a day in Istanbul, spent $20 and got a Turkish visa prior to my travel, which according the the turkish consulate website that you can no longer get a visa while in the airport. I finally reached the airport hotel at 2:30am but the airport shuttle was to arrive in 4 hours to shuttle all the passengers back. So not only did I deal with a rude staff, but I paid $20 to be in Turkey for about 4 hours in an airport hotel."

He was a fairly large man and constantly bending over in the isle to chat with his family. His infant was being attended to by his wife who constantly paced around to shake the baby (I'm sure the baby was annoyed as well). The baby finally spat up on the floor and seat. Everyone in the family could not sit still more than 5mins at a time, jumping up, moving around, switching seats, passing items. The men turned the area into a social scene/bar. I was too distracted by all this activity hovering over me to enjoy reading or relaxing. I constantly had rear ends in my face, and I constantly had to dodge and lean in my seat. The aforementioned tall man even had the nerve to fold away my television monitor when I dozed off so that it would not be an obstruction for his activity. By then I'd had enough. The This flight was terrible. Non of the staff requested better conduct or mindfulness of the other passengers. I believe the airline should strongly consider having a separate space for large families, families with babies, or at least have a code of conduct to which passengers should respect for the sake of every paying customer's ability to enjoy such a long flight."

One flight attendant was amazing, 1st class although she wasn't even in business class. Somehow felt others were tired or mind somewhere else, so not really good service. Choice of food was basic, but good choice of drinks. Plane was comfortable and I think pilot was a woman, which is a nice change. Excellent that there are dividers in the middle seat in business class. Corona restriction rules, like mask wearing rules is extremely wise. Other airlines removed it, but I like better your choice better. Feels safer.

Shows Buisness class large and 2X2 and Economy at 3x3. When you get on the plane it just a one large economy plane with a mark in business "Extra space for you in the middle seat". Food was cold food - no hot food on the whole plane - only hot coffee. I am not paying 4 times the amount to get economy seats that I can get and most probably get lucky and have an empty seat next to me. STAR ALLIANCE IS REALLY GOING DOWN AND LUFTHANSA IS THE WORST. Will never travel Lufthansa business class every again."

The flight was delayed so I had no option but to board the next day since I wouldn't be able to make it to the connecting flight in Frankfurt. They couldn't give me another connecting flight since it was all full. Because I booked my ticket only hours before my flight, they said it might not be possible to fulfil my meal request since there's a 24 hours cut off. However, now I had to cone back to the airport and take the next days flight which gave the airline more than 24 hours from my original meal request. I still did not get the meal I requested, the crew didn't know about it and didn't have any to spare. This was my first time flying Lufthansa, I probably won't try it again."

Miinukset: "Dear sir or Madam, I’m writing this complaint as I feel so mistreated and so disrespected, I had a ticket# 2208688265549 with a confirmation# WP6DHB travelling from Tulsa , OK, USA to Cairo, Egypt. Everything was great as expected and recommended by my uncle who travels with your respected company at least twice a month till I got to Frankfort airport to take flight# 0582 from Frankfort to Cairo. I was stopped while heading to the plan by the flight manager as he called himself later, and told me that I have to only have one item on the plan, I already had one carry on and my hand bag that has my laptop and the charger, I told him that I was told by Lufthansa customer service the night before traveling to confirm the luggage weight and size that I’m allowed one carry on plus personal item like a hand bag or lap top bag and they have to meet specific dimensions. I even offered to call the customer service number for verification, he replied ‘’I don’t care, I’m the flight manager and you will do what I say’’. His words were really hurting, I showed him the tag on my carry on that I got from the previous flight it said (approved carry on) don’t remember exactly what it said, he reached to my carry on and tare that tag, I didn’t think that was appropriate even if the tag had no value he doesn’t have any right to touch my luggage without my approval, then he tried to grab my ticket from my hand saying I will get you off the flight, I got really upset and told him don’t touch my belongs. There was a moment of silence because I think I raised my voice (my apology to him and to the company for that), I realized that the conversation is not going any where so I decided to file a complaint (not because he wanted to me to only have one item but mostly because of his attitude) so I asked him for his employment ID number he walked away without saying anything, waited till he walked close enough that I can ask him again this time he refused to give me his employment ID number, asked him for his name he said it so softly, I asked him to spell because I didn’t hear it right he said it so softly he refused, then I had to look for his badge and the name on the badge I believe his first name started with P and last name started with T. I waited a few days till I got to talk to my uncle and told him what happened as he is the one who recommended Lufthansa and he has a lot of experience with your services he said that they might need to do that because the flight was complete and they want to offer luggage place for everybody, but what I surprising is there was many empty seats on the plan my seat was 032C and the 2 seats beside me (032A and 032B) were empty also there was a lot of carry-ons room everywhere. After this we were given great service until half way through the flight when I was becoming quite thirsty and kept trying to signal the flight attendant based on my help button, but no one came, so I had to stop a flight attendant that was passing so I could ask for some water to drink. Overall, the flight was OK, even though I felt a little crammed in my seat and the need to fish for a flight attendant just to get water was a hassle."

Space in between the seats in Economy class, Hindu vegetarian could be with other vegetables too without adding paneer or cottage cheese.
Veg. Food was very bad. One time pasta. Other time eggplant. We only could eat bread butter. Most of the seats around us could not be pulled back during landing even by crew. Our raw was 31. Helpers were not helping even old customers. Boarding from amd was chaos so was checking. Crew was efficient and energetic. Check in staff was helpful.
The original flight on 15th canceled but not informed the passenger. The next flight allocated was for 20th. Why 5 days later. This is unacceptable

Other first class flights allow you to eat when you want. not this one. i slept through their mealtime - no food for me. the seats also do not recline fully. Since the treatment is not first class, might as well fly economy on this one."

Now they don't want to reimburse me for my flight I missed without an $800 penalty. Ridiculous!"

Miinukset: "Boarding process was one of the most unorganised and pitiful for passengers I have ever seen!! Baggage check in process was a mess and the crew could not handle it. There were multiple lines at baggage check in for some reason for economy itself. We were guided by crew to one of the lines. Then after half hour, they put our line behind another line that arrived after us! Mismanagement led is to wait for nearly 2 hours at baghage check in. Also, the person at kiosk failed to check me in for connecting flight from Abu Dhabi(I was marked for airport checkin, so web check in was not an option). So when I reached Abu Dhabi, I was told my name was not even on the list!! Moreover I had only half hour layover at Abu Dhabi due to delayed flight from Mumbai . One of the worst experiences ever as it was also our honeymoon!"
Plussat: "Good entertainment options although the screen/controller seem outdated and unresponsive. I would suggest not shutting off the entertainment while on the ground or too early (shut off an hour before landing)"
Miinukset: "My biggest complaint would be that we waited on the plane for over an hour and a half in Mumbai for late passengers. This caused a ripple effect which made us miss our arrival spot and have to wait an additional 30 min on the plane once we landed. You should never make 400+ people sit on an airplane for 2 additional hours (for a 3 hour flight) because a few passengers did not plan well and were late. That logic was insane to me and incredibly frustrating. That is my only complaint that would actually make me think twice about flying Etihad again. The crew seemed annoyed anytime I'd ask for water. A more western food option would be nice rather than just 3 options of rice and curries. Also the food timing did not line up well (eating fish at 9am)."

There wasn't much communication and reassurance in terms of delay of the flight. They offered water and some cake only after 3 hours as we were taking off. I ordered 1 noodle and lots of drinks, they charged me two, she said she needed to take a photo of my card which I said no to. Then I said OK we ll keep the 2nd noodle although we didn't need it, just to end the bad situation, she grabbed my bag as I was holding it to get the wallet out and she accidetantally hit the boiling noodles and spilled over my hand and really hurt me, a colleague Brought an ice bag thankfully. This made my journey even worse than it already was with the 3 hour delay of the flight.
Didn't enforce passengers to wear medical grade masks nor that they even properly wear their masks throughout the flight. So it was lots of people of unknown vaccination status all around me without masks on the whole flight.

Miinukset: "We had significant issues getting our one boarding pass from the computers and then the workers in the airport. We purchased both tickets together and the one had no issues. However, we got nonchalantly passed off from one employee to another without having anyone seem really concerned for us."

When trying to pay with a credit card the stewardess was telling me it was a debit card (as if I didn't know what my cards are) - after a while it appeared she mixed online and offline cards for credit and debit cards, yet she was increasingly arrogant while trying to convince me my card is a debit one. So I tried to pay cash with 100 EUR bill and she told me she was going to return the change in Turkish lira! The male steward was just standing next to the trolley without saying a word, looking afraid of his aggressive lady colleague. That's what I call customer service! The particular flight was PC861 Kuwait - Istanbul on June 17."
