Plussat: "I bought a ticket for three persons: my wife, my daughtet and me. I am Nigerian, my daughter American, and my wife's Turkish. However, because of the diplomatic row between Turkey and the U.S., my daughter was refused entry into Turkey. Turkish airlines' policy was to refund the ticket of any American caught in this row. They said they will refund my one month old daughter's ticket. However, my wife and i will not receive a refund. We bought the three tickets together. Our ticket numbers ended in 235...51, 235...52, and 235...53. However, they will not refund our whole money by cancelling the ticket but only that of my daughter. So this is the question: Does Turkish airline want me to leave my one-month old baby in the U.S. and tavel with my wife to Turkey? What kind of parents will we be if we were to abandon our daughter to take a trip to Turkey. Even, the people in Turkish airlines will judge us evil parents, yet that was exactly the only option they gave us. Lose your daughter or lose your ticket money. They will not even just change our iternary or give us another destination we suggested without penalties which are almost 3/4 of our initial ticket price. They just made away with our money. You cannot say, 'We are cancelling tickets for American citizens' but make no exception for parents of infant citizens. This is the height of criminality. So, me and my family couldn't take the flight and lost $1500. We had to buy another ticket by airfloat to get to Georgia. But Turkish airlines refused to even contact us on the refund for my daughter. A truly criminal enterprise."
Miinukset: "They had a vague refund policy for Americans, forgetting that American infants can also have none-American parents who are as much victims in this as the American infant. For them to be myopic and keep repeating talking points of their refund policy is unfortunate to say the least."

Miinukset: "the flight from Cairo to Egypt was extremely bad . I understand that the relationship between both countries is not at its best. However, this is not an excuse for racist and bigoted behavior from You staff , the plane was 2 hours late, the staff was literally yelling at the passengers because they were standing at the gate assigned to the ticket. And your plane crew was extremely rude, this one flight attendant frowned at my wife's face and starting sanitizing her hand after my wife gave her ticket."

Miinukset: "No leg room on the plain, the crew is ok, but not very friendly. Not flexible with kids menu (requested kids menu, but crew was not notified and was not able to provide any), not very clean inside the plane (tables were dirty and there was hair in the window)"

Plussat: "There were extremely strong turbulences with no announcement before or/and no explanation afterwards. Passangers were strongly uncomfortable and scared"

Miinukset: "The flight left early, without me. Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

It took an hour at least from when the drink cart came out until I was actually served a glass of water. The staff kept discussing something at the cart, then leaving the cart, then returning for another discussion, etc..."

Check-in bag drop was extremely slow, another couple of desks were needed to keep the process moving more quickly. We were there more than 2 hours early and were standing in line nearly all of that time."

Miinukset: "I was moved 5 times on the plane, each time to accommodate a Muslim woman wanting to sit with female friends. After being pushed to the back, 10 minutes into the flight they moved one of the Muslim woman with crying baby, non stop crying from the check in until landing, to the back across from me. Same woman made me move to sit with friends. Staff had no ear plugs."
Miinukset: "Flight was cancel due to problems in Turkish government. The rescheduling of the new flights were "all lies" From Naples to Munich was ok, but the flight from Munich to Dubai was not confirmed (even though I had a printed ticket). Emirate airlines refused to take us and I was stuck in Munich all night, waiting for new reschedule. Horrible experience. I will avoid Turkish airlines in any of my future flights."

Miinukset: "The bathroom wasn't maintained at all throughout the flight. Which usually isn't a big deal but on a 10+ hour flight they can get pretty nasty."

Miinukset: "For a flight from IST-NPL they only had beef options for food. Nepal is a Hindu country and majority of people on the flight were Hindu. It's very inconsiderate for them to bit have planned for more non beef food options. I turned on the service button 3 times within an hour. No one came. Separately I also asked 3 flight attendants for some water. None of them got me water! There were at least four parties with kids younger than 3 and a few older people. It would have been nice if boarding call was made to allow these people to board first so they could settle down camly, without stressing the kids and everyone else behind them!!"
Plussat: "The flight was good on time and short. The seating for economy was fine."
Miinukset: "The only negative was the seat assignments at check in were random and all over the cabin for the three of us since we checked in nearly 20 hours before the flight. The Representatives in Turkey told us we would have to get the seats reassigned upon arrival in the US. So when we arrived the flight was fully booked sand they were unable to seat us together. other that that it was a good experience."

Miinukset: "It was a horrible experience. I was trying to check in a few hours before my flight, and my reservation just vanished. I was on the phone with VAYAMA twice, and both times they were extremely unhelpful and one of the times just very very rude! I will not be booking with Kayak again."

Plussat: "They are prompt and very fast at loading and unloading. Quite a bit better than any other airline I have used. Leg room on small airplanes was good in economy, but not as good on larger jet to USA. The servers offered me ice in my water bc I am American. I appreciated that so much since I'd spent the last 12 days in Europe where no one serves with ice!"

Plussat: "The flights were lovely, the food was very good (for airline food), the drinks were generous - even the cheap seats were offered wine or cocktails! And after dinner were served coffee with Bailey's or cognac. Hot towels were provided. I would seek out a Lufthansa flight again."
Miinukset: "It was very difficult to click into any movies, etc. That needs to be looked into. I spent a ridiculous amount just trying to get into a movie."

Miinukset: "To italy united by Lufthansa had great Netflix shows, movies and better interface. This flight to Chicago was Germany based, so I understand the international choices, but there was very little to watch in the movie, tv and show categories. Otherwise all great!"

Miinukset: "Why I had to fly from Naples to Munich and then down to Zurich to take an Edelweiss flight (Swiss Air, horrible), is beyond me. Poor routing, plus, the Edelweiss flight took 10 hours to Tampa. My family flew from Naples to Paris and from Paris to St. Louis, Mo. in SIX hours. The four extra hours were excruciatingly long in cramped seats."

Plussat: "I would like to commend the crew on this flight for the way they handled a medical emergency during the flight. I thought that the brew reacted and handled this emergency in a calm, professional and dignified manner. Very little information was conveyed to the passengers aside from what was necessary. I thought that was very dignified and respectful of the circumstance. The flight was diverted from Munich to Vienna, the affected individual was evacuated and the flight was back in the air shortly thereafter. I would like to say Very Well Done to the crew and airline for the training they received and handled the situation."

Miinukset: "Gate change at the exact time we were to board causing a 1:45 delay since our flight wasn't in the correct spot for the flight control deck to push our plane back. We made our connecting flight by about 8 minutes in Munich."
Plussat: "For SFO portion only: Entertainment media was excellent. Free Wine was very nice touch. Breakfast meal was either sausages or pasta. A more traditional American breakfast choice would have been nice. Toilet facilities were clean & ample in size & spacious Plane was very nice except for leg room where I felt packed in like a sardine!"
Miinukset: "Flight seat leg space was inadequate!!! Seat width was narrow for my hips."

Miinukset: "Difficulty with Lufthansa's website made it so that I could only complete check in for one person in our party. When we arrived at the airport and they printed boarding passes, the Lufthansa agent re-assigned seats without asking or telling me and gave us all middle seats. Very poor form. Food was either average or bad, depending on what was served. Boarding is unorganized, with people lining up over an hour prior to boarding and almost completely ignoring their boarding groups."
Miinukset: "Asked hor wheelchair assistance on the 3 connecting flight ... Never got one Weighing the carry on is ridiculous! Had to tortow away stuff because a couple pound over British allows up to 50 pounds on a carry on Asked to switch seats and hot terrible service Tried to get boarding pass 24 prior could not They lost my luggage got it 3 days later And other things that I was not happy about"
Plussat: "What a wonderful experience. My husband is a very tall man and he had commented on how much leg room there was in this plane. Everything was very comfortable, people were very polite. Wonderful experience. We also appreciated in the terminal in Munich the free coffee and newspaper stand when we left the plane. How refreshing it was to be able to get a free cup of coffee after a 6am flight. We will be looking into Lufthansa again!"

Miinukset: "Boarding at Florence is always chaotic but this isn't within the control of KLM or their crew."
Miinukset: "The only complaint I had was that it was very warm on the flight (and I usually get cold on flights), and in the seats we had there weren't fans above the seats. A few rows up they had fans, so apparently you have to pay extra for air... This wouldn't be a big deal on a short domestic flight, but for an international flight it was a long time to be uncomfortable!"

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed (again!) for some 40 minutes and I was worried that I would miss my connection flight in Atlanata. Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

Miinukset: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

To make things worse, Easyjet refused to pay for the replacement flight, let alone compensate us for the flight we missed (cutting our 2 day holiday in half practically)."

Actuals 22.3 & 16 . 3 for the 2nd."

Yet when i was over about 1.6 kilos ( had bought a sweater and some other gifts in rome ) i was forced to remove it or pay even more money. So it turns out these "cheap flights" always have a catch to them. Be aware for these little tricks."

I wish there was wifi/USB plug on the plane or at least tvs. I didn't have any food or see any entertainment offered so I cannot speak to that! I am unclear on the baggage allowances for this airline and it seemed to be dependent on the employee you happened upon, but everyone was nice and professional."

When it was near time to start boarding and there was still no Easy Jet staff there we, investigated and found there was a different gate assignment. As we handed in our boarding passes to get on the plane, my wife was told she could only bring one piece on board. We each had a daypack on our backs and she was carrying a satchel. It's too bad for us the initial check in person didn't inform my wife she couldn't carry both her pack and satchel onboard because the extra cost was 12 Euro more than it would have been had we paid for it an hour earlier at check-in. And of course you're stuck paying the extra because there's no way to run back and check it in and still catch the plane."

As I was on the 6th row, for which I payed an overprice when buying tickets, I eventuallypassed frome the first 10 people to be boarded to the last one. 2. As a consequence of point 1. As I arrived in front of the airplane door, the crew said the remaining luggages couldn’t be boarded with us because there wasn’t anymore space in the lockers. 3. The crew was very unprofessional. So, in the end, after paying more for first rows tickets and after being one of the first people in line to be boarded, because of poor organizarion I ended as one of the last to be boarded and without the right to bring with me the personal luggage. A nightmare"

Miinukset: "It was an awful experience. They lied to us that the connection flight from Barcelona to Tel Aviv was canceled and therefore we must stay at Granada. They also said they could not fly us to Barcelona because all of the hotels there are full occupancy (sounds absurd). Only after we insisted on flying to Barcelona we discovered that the flight to Tel Aviv took place as usual. To this day, I do not know why an airline needs to lie in such an ugly way. Note that this was not a misunderstanding or language difficulties. The English of the airline team and mine is excellent. This behavior is dismissive, irresponsible, and embarrassing"

I was pressured in Helsinki into letting Swissair, the contracted boarding agent it seems, fill that seat, 1/2 of which is what you get for paying 'business' in a plane that has all economy seating. There was no logic or ability to board before economy and indeed my boarding pass stated economy. The woman that was added to the oversold seat got intoxicated and was half in my seat. I will never fly this again and it's not worth the stress to fight for some refund but I was taken advantage of with charging me a 300+ euro seat for this joke of a flight in a "better" level of service."

Even in the short Priority Boarding line, it was pretty messy, and a businessman pretending ignorance tried to cut in line in front of me."
Miinukset: "I wanted to book with British Airlines only to find out it was booked with a low end poorly rated airline I cancelled the flight I bought trip insurance but BA will not get back to me about a refund. Was on the phone many times waiting for very long time only to get disconnected and left on hold Now but rate BA low low low"

Miinukset: "To be specific Vueling's check-in associate Lafth (he wouldn't provide his last name even when we requested it for the purposes of this review) was the most unhelpful, rude & unprofessional public service worker! He was doing his job with the attitude as if he was doing us a favor, meanwhile making unappropriate comments related to the country of our destination & the United States. He assigned a seat to my boyfriend and informed me that I wont have a seat due to overbooking. We explained to him that we absolutely mus be on the plane due to the importance of an evening we had ahead. He seemed to enjoy the difficulty of our situation & had zero compassion & showed no attempt to help or to see what he can possibly do. The grim on his face suggested "screw you, guys!" And sarcastically added "good luck to you"! Seriously!? I was furious & so upset & also nervous because not making it to the point of our destination would be extremely unfortunate. My boyfriend suggested to assign a seat to me & to check in two luggages under my name & he would figure out an alternative scenario for his way to get to our destination in case they wouldn't find a seat for him at the gate. At the gate we met with two other associates who seemed to have zero training in what their job is. They had no understanding, no outside of the box thinking, no creativity & no any hint of compassion! Striking! Only because a guy from Iberia airlines came to help these two incompetent associates we started to feel that someone with the brain & knowledge is finally involved. Finally, we were given a second seat "miracoulasly" somehow it was available.. hmmm... and guess what!? Not just one! As we got on a plane I saw at least 4 seats (in my vicinity) unoccupied! The bottom line Lafth (the check in guy) knew it! But his miserable attitude had caused us all unnecessary stress, my nerves & caused his company this review. My suggestion- choose other airline!"
