Lentojen peruuttaminen ja siirto aiheutti ylimääräistä tressiä ja lisäsi matkakustannuksia mm. Ylimääräisten hotellikulujen muodossa. Momondon käyttämä Tripmonster on nimensä mukainen hirviösysteemi, jonka tiedoittaminen ja etenkin tavoitettavuus on aivan luokatonta tasoa. En enää suostu ikinä ostamaan matkaa Momondon kautta jos he käyttävät Tripmonsteria.

I asked the flight attendant if I could be reseated and she said the plane was full and there were no open seats. She eventually found me a middle seat in the back of the plane, which was so cramped I could harpy move. For a 10 hours flight, not good. I have gold status on Star Alliance, which got me an upgrade from Bishkek to Istanbul, but didn't help on this flight."

Had to go again through security with not enough staff, stood around 40min in a messy line with no air-conditioning​ or water to go thorough security again. There were elderly people having to do the same. Later, after landing, there was no parking for the airplane, so after 10 hours flight we we're held for 25 minutes inside the airplane. New regulations will make me reconsider using Turkish​ airline for US bound flights, although it's a great company, unless they find a more comfortable and organized way to do the security check."

Seized all electronic equipment which I anticipated ahead of time and left my iPad home - but they took my camera - which is NOT on the list or a digital device. The entertainment system draped out and locked up 4 hours into a ten hour flight. The WORST flight experience I have had in a very long tie and I have flown all over the world. I am 6'1" and 190 lbs and asked for exit row and they both told me all of them gone already. The thing is funny when I asked checking in was just began. After boarding I realized some exit sits are available. As a Turkish man who worked JFK for.Turkish airlines, I think this was awful experience. Plussat: "My JFK to IST flight on Oct 21st, the plane was nice and new. The seats were comfortable and the entertainment was up to date. The food on this particular flight was good."
Miinukset: "According to the Turkish Airlines site they offer free accommodations to passengers who have over 10 hr layover in Istanbul if you are an economy passenger. I was under this impression that I would fall under this category because when I initially booked the ticket (JFK - IST - LIS and return LIS - IST - JFK) my layover back to JFK was 18 hours. Two weeks prior to leaving for my trip I received a notification saying that the layover will be extended to 34 hours. Seeing that my layover was extended, I thought that Turkish Airline would offer me accommodation for both nights. When I arrived to IST (10:30pm local time) I went to the Turkish Airline transfer desk in which they said they would not allow me to have the 2 nights accommodation. After about an hour and half of discussion they could only offer me one night accommodation and changed my flight to an earlier flight. The attendant who was serving me told me to wait by the kiosk until my name was called. At the 30 minute mark I tried to ask another kiosk attendant to see what the status was and he replied back in a very rude manner saying he has no idea what I'm referring to and that essentially was not his problem. After another hour and half of waiting and seeing other frustrated passengers going to the transfer desk and not being helped, I went on the queue to see what the status of my ticket was. They finally gave me my ticket and at this point it was close to 1am. Thankfully I did research before hand and under the assumption that I was going to spend a day in Istanbul, spent $20 and got a Turkish visa prior to my travel, which according the the turkish consulate website that you can no longer get a visa while in the airport. I finally reached the airport hotel at 2:30am but the airport shuttle was to arrive in 4 hours to shuttle all the passengers back. So not only did I deal with a rude staff, but I paid $20 to be in Turkey for about 4 hours in an airport hotel."

Miinukset: "My seat tv and headphones did not work, and I had to ask several times for assistance. They ran out of the food I could eat, and there was a child kicking the seat behind me 70% of the 11 hour flight. My seat was broken and would not stay reclined. The flight attendants were not attentive. I pressed the button a few times (to get assistance with the broken items, and no one came. The 11hour flight was more like being in a shopping mall for 11 hours, people getting up and walking everywhere, talking in the aisles-I understand the children crying-but kicking other peopmes seats is unacceptable and the flight staff should address that if their training allows."

I waited an hour by the luggage carousel until I saw someone that informed me that one of my suitcases did not make it onto the flight. I had to wait until the next day for it to be delivered. Plussat: "Turkish Air flight from Istanbul to NYC was fine but Turkish Air flight leaving Tashkent 8:15 am to Istanbul, May 29, was terrible. Although we had all been up from 5am to get to early morning flight and Tashkent air port has no services, stewardess ran out of coffee and repeatedly refused to get me, the person skipped, coffee, despite repeated requests for a first cup. Each time they refilled coffee, they started run from beginning of plane, and ran out by the time they got to the middle. Usually if someone gets skipped, they just go back and get a single cup, but this lady was determined not to. Never had this happen in 55 years of flying. Serious caffine deficiency."

Matkustamohenkilökunnan käytös ja toiminta ala-arvoista

Oli kylmä. Aika moni aivasteli tai niiskutti 12 tunnin lennon päättyessä.

Koneeseen pakkautumista voisi järkevöittää, esim. rivi tai muutama kerrallaan, jottei syntyisi ryntäylyä ja hässäkkää.

Tuntui kuin lentokenttävirkailijat olisi olleet TET-harjoittelussa. Ongelma ei tietty ole Finnairin henkilökunnassa vaan Münchenin kentän virkailijoissa. Oli kuin kaikki olisivat ensimmäistä päivää töissä. Todella heikkoa toimintaa.

Todella ahdas kone.

Check in Pariisissa oli vanhanaikasta. Jos on matkatavara menossa rumaan, tai haluaa boardingpassi paperiversiona joutuu odottamaan että check in avautuu.

Henkilökunta oli ihan ystävällistä. Koneeseennousu oli hidas. Tarjottavat ovat nolla-arvoisia, vain lasi vettä ilmaiseksi, ei ole toimiva konsepti ollenkaan.

Kone lähti myöhässä ja henkilökunnalla turha puheripuli kovaäänisiin

Ostettiin lentolippu yhdessä, ei siis pitänyt olla epäselvää, että ollaan pariskunta. Meidät kuitenkin sijoitettiin istumaan koneessa kauas toisistamme. Pärjäämme toki itsenäisesti, mutta moinen homma vaikuttaa lähinnä kiusanteolta. Eikä suinkaan asiakaspalvelulta. Terveiset siis Finnairille tai muille, jotka olivat järkkäilleet istumapaikat.

Finnair siirsi lentomme vuorokaudella eteenpäin. Ilmoitus tuli tuntia ennen koneen lähtöä kun oli jo toimitettu matkalaukut koneeseen ja tultu turvatarkastuksesta läpi ja odoteltiin koneeseen nousua lähtöportilla. Käsittämätöntä, tieto ylibuukkauksesta oli varmasti tiedossa paljon aikaisemmin. Kari ja Marja Alatyppö

Palvelu oli erinomaista, kone oli siisti ja aikataulut pitivät hyvin. Ihan pieni suma syntyi koneeseen noustessa kun eri boarding-ryhmät sumppuuntuivat putkeen. Pieni tauko boarding-ryhmien välissä olisi tehnyt siirtymästä vielä asteen sujuvamman.

Hyvä, nopea lento, Hki lentoasemalla hyvä palvelu

Finnairilla hyvä henkilökunta, kaikki sujui tosi hienosti lennolla.

Lento aivan täynnä ja bourdauksessa ei mitään järjestystä. Tuntuu siltä, että Finnair sijoittaa pariskunnat erilleen ilman erillistä maksettua paikkavalintaa.

Lento 3h myöhässä. Informaation kulku hidasta ja sekavaa.

Lähtöselvityksessä oli vain yksi henkilö, mikä ei vastannut lainkaan tarvetta, koska hän oli ERITTÄIN HIDAS - ja hieman tyly (?). Passeja hän pyöritteli todella kauan ja tavasi hitaasti kirjain kirjaimelta nimemme niistä ja vertaili kuvia meihin. Tuntui todella oudolta. Lisäksi tarranauhat taisivat loppua kesken ja hän joutui hakemaan niitä muualta. Meillä (kolmen hlön perhe) oli ainoastaan yksi laukku menossa ruumaan, mutta virkailija yllätti meidät vaatimalla myös käsimatkatavaramme ruumaan, koska tilaa olisi kuulemma liian vähän. Luonnollisesti olimme pakanneet kaiken säännösten mukaan ja tässä hässäkässä ruumaan joutui myös elektroniikka, jotka olimme jättäneet käsimatkatavaroihin. Virkailija ei huomannut kysyä asiasta, emmekä me kiireessä muistaneet sitä. Lisäksi jouduin todella vaatimalla vaatimaan, että sain yhden laukun käsimatkatavaroihin, koska sairastan diabetesta ja astmaa ja olin pakannut matkalla mahdollisesti tarvitsemani lääkkeet ko. laukkuun. Ehdin jo hieman hätääntyä asiasta, kunnes virkailija "armollisesti" tuli sen verran vastaan, että antoi minun valita yhden kolmesta laukustamme matkustamoon. Ymmärrän tilantarpeen, mutta olisi ollut todella järkevää kertoa jonossa odottaville etukäteen, että tällaista vaaditaan, jotta muutenkin todella tiukalla ollut ollut aika ei olisi kulunut turhaan säätämiseen turhautuneitten jonottajien odottaessa selän takana. Asian olisi mielestäni voinut myös hoitaa hieman kohteliaammin. Lisäksi huomasin koneessa, että hyvin harvan kohdalla oli vaadittu jättämään matkustamoon tarkoitettuja laukkuja ruumaan - ainakin lähes kaikilla oli yksi laukku/hlö mukana. Hämmentävää. Yllättävää kyllä kone pääsi kuitenkin lähtemään matkustajien puolesta ajallaan, vaikka jonottavat pitivät sitä mahdottomana. Lento sujui muuten hyvin, paitsi jalkatilat olivat todella surkeat verrattuna menomatkamme koneeseen.

Vähän myöhässä muuten kaikki sujui loistavasti

Kone oli kolme tuntia myöhässä.... Meitä pompoteltiin portilta toiselle. Ilmastointi oli olematon.

Finnair on lentoyhtiönä nykyään aivan perseestä! Siirtävät esim lentoja 2 päivällä eteenpäin eivätkä kerro matkustajille edes syytä! Laitoin kyselyä asiakaspalveluun jo maaliskuussa 2022 ja lentomme oli 27.5 ja en ole vieläkään saanut vastausta miksi lentoa siirrettiin.

Lento myöhässä 9h ja lähtö seuraavan vuorokauden puolella. Ei mitään tietoa finnairilta kuinka toimitaan, miten yöpyminen hoidetaan, mitä korvataan jne. Surkea suoritus.

Asiakkaita suositellaan menemään kentälle hyvissä,ajoin, mutta finskin lähtöselvitys ja bag drop portit avautuvat, aina, liian myöhään. (munchen)

Tämä nykyajan "turvatarkastusteatteri" on aivan absurdia matkustajien kiusaamista. EI voi mitenkään olla perusteltua että joutuu jonottamaan yli 2 tuntia sitä että käsimatkatavarat tutkitaan. Matkustajista 99.99999% on rehellisiä asiallisia ihmisiä eikä heidän kiusaamisensa moisella teatterilla edistä mitenkään lentoturvallisuutta. Parannusehdotus turvallisuuspäällikölle potkut tehtäviensä hoidon täydellisestä epäonnistumisesta. Esim lennollani 2 oli vain läpivalaisulaitetta käytössä ja jonossa tuhansia ihmisiä. Ilman lennon myöhästymistä olisimme missanneet lentomme tämän pelleilyn johdosta! Kyllä moiset tarkastukset pitää pystyä järjestämään siten ettei matkustajan tarvitse seisoskella jonossa tuntikausia. ( tämä jonottaminen tarkoittaa myös sitä ettei kukaan voinut käyttää kentän palveluita, eli myös heidän business kärsii tästä typeryydestä)

Edelleen toivoisin edes kahvia maksutta, Air France osaltaan tarjoaa jopa pientä syötävää ja muuta juotavaa.

Tarjoilu

Koneen kapteeni ei kertonut mitään muuta lennosta kuin lähtiessä lennon kesto. Olisin halunnut tietoa esim lentoreitistä.

Finnair arpoi edellisenä iltana check-in:ssä mieheni riville 29 ja minut riville 16 eikä näitä voinut muuttaa. Finnair rahastaa kaikesta, vaikka ei tietääkseni ole ’halpalentoyhtiö’. Mustikkamehumukillinen on ainut, mikä kuuluu hintaan. Menolennolla KLM tarjosi suolaisen ja makean välipalan kaikkine juomineen (kahvi, mehu, virvoitusjuoma, olut, viini). Kännykän voi ladata. For free.

Järjestelyt toimi oikein hyvin matkakumppanin boarding pass dokumentti katosi turvatarkastuksen jälkeen puhelimesta jokin spammi yritti latautua , mutta passilla koneeseen 😊 Kone ilmeisesti hiukan kovassa käytössä, istuin muhkurainen. Henkilökunta oikein palvelualtista ja ammattitaitoista ☺

Lentokentällä saimme apua kahdesta pisteestä.

Tällä lennolle kaikki sujui hienosti. Henkilökunta toimi ammattitaitoisesti ja lentäjät olivat huippu ammattilaisia, nousut ja laskut olivat hallittua. Kiitos Finnair.

Minulla oli aivan kova nälkä ja halusin ostaa lentokoneessa leivän mutta valitettavasti minä olen nuori enkä omista luottokorttia ja en saanut koneesta mitään koska normaali electron maksu kortti ei kelvannut eikä käteinen kelvannut..

This is not acceptable, nobody wants to take responsability for sending me the wrong information in the email. Had I know both of my flights were with American Airline I wouldn’t lost my plane because I would make the right line to begin with ."

It took so long, eventually they allowed people to cut in line as their flight departure times neared. 2+ hours later, I finally got to a kiosk to print my boarding pass and baggage tag, but now another line to drop off my bag on the conveyor belt. With less than 30 minutes to departure, and still haven't gone through security, I gave up and made my checked bag a carry-on as well. And then tight seats on the plane, with no individual screens (the movie played on a tiny screen 2 rows up in the aisle.)"

Miinukset: "Being stuck on the plane for 2 1/2 hours They lost my luggage that was checked in as being on the belt but it never came down!!! They never found it and I was standing in front when the first bag came down until the last my bag never came down!"

Miinukset: "I paid hard-earned money for an expensive flight to Madrid. Not only were we very delayed on the way there, we were also delayed on the way back. We spent 3 hours back and forth on the tarmac stuck on an old bus in 100+ degree weather being delivered conflicting information, summed up to the seats being "broken". We got a "bathroom break" during which was talked to very rudely by the flight attendant at the gate, and then was almost left behind by the bus on the tarmac. Additionally, once we got onto the plane, it was extremely old (I'm talking no TV's, ashtrays on seats, filthy tables, dirty seats). To top it off, when I went to the restroom in the middle on the flight, I saw flight attendants drinking Tito's and soda in the back in the plane and talking loudly. I am not usually one to complain- but this was a particularly bad experience and terrible ending to my vacation."

Miinukset: "We boarded, sat on the plane for a while, backed up from the gate, then sat for a while longer. 3 hours later, we had to go back to the gate because we reached the legal limit they can hold us on the plane on the tarmac. Another hour and a half or so later, we finally took off for JFK. We missed our first connecting flight and the second connecting flight I was able to rebook."

Miinukset: "Cannot believe how American a treated it's passengers. 3 hour delay to JFK. No apologies. Missed connection to Paris. Not any customer service agents to be found in JFK at 11:30 pm. No explanation on what next. No hotel.. Nada. I'll never travel with American again."

Miinukset: "This was a nine hour flight and the entertainment system was very old. There were screens in the middle of the plane with the movies chosen for you. On a flight this long, the customer should have options. You also were not able to control your the air. So the flight was freezing! The lunch options were meatballs or cheesy pasta. I thought these were risky. What has happened to chicken?"

Miinukset: "They would not let me board for being less than 5 minutes late."
Miinukset: "I didn't like the fact that I paid for 2 seats with extra legroom to find out that the entire plane was extra legroom. The flight attendants weren't friendly at all. I have had nothing but trouble with American for this past trip. From losing my reservation to this, it has been a nightmare. I hope I never have to fly them again, I tried complaining to customer service. You can't call them ; only email them. I could go on and on. They need lessons with their treatment of their passengers."

Miinukset: "We get used to cramped conditions on domestic flights but normally get more for international flights. The 777 was very modern but small cramped seats (3 4 3 configuration) meant for a tough journey and almost impossible to sleep."
Plussat: "The British Airways flight to Europe had on-demand movies, with a screen on the back of the seat in front of you. The American Airlines return flight only had a cabin screen, where everyone watched the same movie. I will say, however, that the two movies I watched were excellent, so the outcome was fine (but given the option, I'd take the BA option of on-demand viewing!)."

No update available other than its on it's way. I called again at 8:00pm, 9:00pm 10:30pm & 11:15pm. Still no update was given. At around 12:30pm AFTER I WENT TO SLEEP, someone come to my hotel room to drop off my luggage. I had an important meeting for early the following morning and if my bag did not arrive, I had no business clothes for the meeting. I could have bought some new cloths but since I was TOLD my cloths would be arriving by 1-2:00pm and be delivered by early evening, I thought that not necessary. I believe I was told that so BA"

However--- we paid to pick our seats and we got stuck in both middle seats. I also got skipped on the first round of beverage service. The entire crew was congregated in the middle part and when they finally made their way back to the cabin for trash I asked the flight attendant if I could please get a beverage as I was skipped. He said yes let me gather this trash and ill be back. He never returned. Then everyone was served their meals and I then was also skipped. Flight crew congregated again in the middle and my sister and I had to wave our hands up in the air to grab anyone's attention so I could get my meal. At that point they were out of the vegetarian option and I got a small oh we didn't mean to skip you comment. Pretty disappointed with this flight."

Miinukset: "Because of technical difficulties, we had to get off the plane after having boarded so it left with 1h30 delay. That can happen to everyone though but that's not it. On the plane, after having paid for specific seats, the entertainment system did not work as well as the individual lights despite the crew knowing about it. When we notified them, all they said was "Oh! Someone should've told you. Sorry." The one in charge of the crew offered us champagne but never came back with it. So with my girlfriend, we spent 8 hours from London to NYC in darkness with no entertainment despite having paid for it. Finally, I've been trying to get in touch with customer service for 3 weeks now and I still haven't gotten a hold of anyone."

One of the crew members (a plus sized lady) came off to me as racist, she treated everyone else with a smile and cautious attitude but was so fast to tell me off. Would it be a coincident that the rest people are white like herself? I'm never flying BA again."
Miinukset: "my trip to England was a nightmare starting with American Airlines not being able to find my flight or my name in the system. It was worse on the return from Gatwick. They also couldnt find me in the system and i blame it all on this Kayak travel site. I will never again use Kayak !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my trip was a nightmare."
Plussat: "Ground staff in London was amazing! The flight from Barcelona to London was delayed because of weather condition. Once we arrived in London the ground staff made sure all of us (almost 20 people, lots of kids) could get the flight connection to JKF. The shuttle bus was already waiting for us, the ground staff indicated to us the faster way to get to our gate after passing through security checking. Everybody could get the JFK flight!"
Miinukset: "I'm gluten intolerant and there was no gluten free snack!!! Lunch was served as soon as the plane took off, but for the next 5h of flight nothing else was served. I asked if they had some gluten free snack, they told me there were going to check, but they never got back to me with an answer. I was starving arriving in NY. Aircraft was too old and it didn't have USB charger. And the individuals screens were also too old and had really bad quality for watching movies! It seemed that I was in a flight from 20 years ago!"
Plussat: "Excellent service on both British Airways flights. Wonderful people! Comfortable seats, timely boarding process, and good communication from our captain"
Miinukset: "We lost our in-flight entertainment just a couple hours into the flight... the staff did all they could to try to fix it to no avail, and collected blue cards from all passengers affected. They were very nice. There was nothing they could do."
Plussat: "Good preboarding with wheelchair in JFK a little more hectic in Heathrow but very useful because it is a very long walk."

My butt was sore as the seat is so small and the guy next to me had his arm on the console all the time so I had to lean left the whole trip. I couldn't charge my phone for 8 hours of the flight so when I got to JFK my phone was dead. It doesn't heart to put power plugs in every row. This is the 21st century and this is British airways representing great Britain. I guess gb isn't great no more. One more thing I don't eat pork and when the flight attendant offered me dinner she said I only have sausage. Be considerate on passengers that don't eat pork"

Plussat: "I really appreciated the size of the seats, the hot meal service, the attentiveness of the attendants, really the whole experience especially since I had been dreading the whole thing. I have spinal disc problems and consequently leg pain and difficulty sitting, especially in cramped spaces. I upgraded to WTP especially for that reason and was not disappointed. If I ever fly again, if BA goes there, that's going to be my choice."

Miinukset: "Check in took forever. I wasn't able to check in online and was told "this is the price you pay" when I received word that my wife and I wouldn't be sitting together. Then we went to board far later than we were supposed to. After boarding the plane we sat for easily a half hour not moving with no information. Then find out there is scheduled maintenance which would be another hour. AC was shut off and got hot. Started to deplane but we were in back and didn't make it because they reveresed their decision. Got back on and said we would be leaving shortly. In all we say on the plane over 3 hours prior to take off. Never flying with your company again. Easily the worst experience flying ever."

The lousy, lousy food. The lack of food. The seats that were so tight I couldn't get up to use the lavatory when the inconsiderate woman in front of me put her seat back (and I'm totally average size). The awful entertainment selection. The worn, dirty plane."
Plussat: "Both of my flights had no person in the middle seat, so I was able to spread out more in the space which made it much easier to get some sleep, especially on my red eye flight!"

Plussat: "We did land OK but JFK was snowed in and this probably caused the many problems we encountered. Iq always have bad luck flying in and out of that airport so I don't completely hold BA accountable. Staff we polite and efficient."
Miinukset: "We were stuck in the plane for an hour and a half after landing at JFK. On the ground they ran the engines so loudly my husband got a terrible headache. We mentioned the noise problem but were ignored. Once allowed to debark we were crammed into a long cold hall and waited another 1/2 hour before moving towards immigration clearance. To top it off the baggage conveyer system was broken and we waited another 45 minutes before they shut the building down. So we left with no luggage exhausted. One piece of luggage was left back in London. Not pleasant at all. We did get our luggage returned 3 days later. That was good."
Miinukset: "Only frustrating thing was that i missed my flight due to traffic and poor uber service. When i got to the airport i wasn't allowed to check in. This caused me to be charged a $275.00 late fee for my ticket and my friends. Since i lost my phone when it fell out of my pocket onto the train tracks as i entered the heathrow express i wasn't able to transfer funds to pay for the $550.00 worth of ticket transfer fees. It was a huge issue but eventually it was sorted. Not knowing if you will be able to get back to your county or not is a very stressful experience. Wish i could get my $550.00 back. Plussat: "I tried the World Traveler plus cabin and was very pleasantly surprised by the general increase in space and quality of service for a relatively small extra amount of money. WTP, on first experience, seems to be a very good compromise for those looking for more comfort than "cattle class" without paying the huge price increase to fly in Business Class"
