Miinukset: "Checked bag fee was expensive at $120 per bag. For the two of us bags cost $240. The plane boarded late this departed and arrived late. Otherwise a very good flight. Very comfortable, all Amenities worked, the plane was clean and the staff accommodating."

Plussat: "There was a major problem with my booking and I went through almost 2 hours or stress thinking I would not be let on the flight. This has never happened with Kayak. But it was really bad. TAP insisted they could not book me on as Azores Airlines from Pinta Delgado to Toronto was not booked for me. I had to call bothe airlines. With no help from the desk. I finally got both to confirm and at the last minute was allowed on the flight. I chose this route to have a nice couple of days in Portugal and I will have. But the flight start was really upsetting."

Miinukset: "I travel with an international carry-on designed to fit in comoartments above seats in any and all planes (Tumi alpha 2 International), and yet TAP would claim it was too large to fit and forced me to check it. My problem is not only the wait once we land, but most improtsntly that the bags are beat up in the journey. Indeed, my carry-on arrived with several scratches on the plastic edges as well as some signs of worn on the textile. Because of this carry-on baggage size restrictions, I will not fly TAP airlines again (unless I can travel with my hand purse only)."

Miinukset: "Even though I paid for my seats they weren't reserved and I had to request new ones. I paid €80 for them so I'd imagine they would have been reserved. Then they took my blanket when we were getting close with no explanation even though I was cold. I don't get this airline."
Plussat: "The crew was very nice, we boarded on time and landed a bit early which was nice. We recieved little snack packs that had a sandwich and a granola bar or fruit snacks and a juice."
Miinukset: "The seats were not very comfortable to sleep on for 6 hours as they didn't recline back too much but that is to be expected in 2nd class seats."

Miinukset: "TAP changed our seats even though we had paid extra. They were narrow and uncomfortable."
Miinukset: "Boarding was refused at gate due to late arrival of previous flight which was also a TAP flight. No assistance to delay following flight or accelerate our deplaning even though the next identical flight was three days later."
Plussat: "I like the flight per se and the crew attention"
Miinukset: "The boarding process. It was slow, disorganized, didn't take off on time and some people were rude including the searching process that I enter voluntarily because nobody directed me. I when you schedule a flight you should try to take off on time because it can be disruptive for everyone. And when you sell discount tickets at least say you are going to charge 45 dollars for the bag... i wouldn't purchase any discount offer"
Miinukset: "Tap said that they could not find my seat (even through I paid Kayak / Webjet) and my tickets were cancelled. I lost my flight back and had to stay two days extra in a hotel and lost a day of work. Will never buy here again"
Plussat: "Good movie selection. Kind staff."
Miinukset: "Attendants did not check on us for about four hours, and it was not a red-eye. So, a snack or drink would have been noce."

Miinukset: "We had trouble with the A/C leaving; until we were airborne, it was hot. I suspect that this is an unusual problem. In general, I find small international carriers better than the large ones; my favorite so far in Air Austria"
Miinukset: "We had to postpone our first leg from London to Lisbon by a day and then they cancelled our return flight without telling us!!! So, we were trapped in Lisbon with no flight to return home. We called them and they said, "we cancelled your tickets and only have business class seats available for you and your toddler." We said no thank you. If we were going to spend 1k on a return flight, we were going to take British Airways. TAP, never again."

Miinukset: "The chairs were small and we didn't have very much legroom"

Miinukset: "They totally screwed up boarding. We waited for about 20-30 minutes in line because they had not worked out the boarding logistics properly. Seat design does not permit an independent adjustment of the foot rest. Crew seemed a little indifferent to our presence; very few smiles."
Plussat: "The employees were very friendly."
Miinukset: "The food service was cancelled due to being short a flight attendant. We were initially advised that the food had not made it to the aircraft. Afterwards we saw the crew eating while we were left with no food or drink service. We then discovered that since they were short one crew member the crew would not serve food or drinks for "safety concerns". It turns out they could have served but preferred to adhere to their union under the guise of passenger safety and remain seated the entire flight doing crossword puzzles and the like which definitely made me feel much safer."
Plussat: "Entertainment! Loved having such a wide selection of things to watch on the screen at my seat. Such a nice luxury to be able to watch a movie, a show, check the status of the flight/plane/distance/time/map, and more."
Miinukset: "The food wasn't that appetizing. It actually gave me upset stomach for the rest of the flight. I was in the bathroom 3x during the flight and I usually don't use the restroom more than once during any given flight. I didn't like that when asking for a drink of water, they only give a half full cup of room-temperature water. On an 8 hour flight, I get dehydrated and could drink 2 water bottles alone. I don't like to be a nuisance to the attendants so I only asked for water twice. I just wish they would provide small personal bottles per customer. I also have never flown on TAP before so I wasn't aware of anything like how to call an attendant using the touch-screen or even that watching movies was free. It should be said over the intercom at the beginning of the flight."
Plussat: "Great boarding process, friendly staff, the planes are newer and well-equipped, everything was on time, good food options on the plane"
Plussat: "The seats were comfortable and already stocked with a pillow and blanket for all. we each had a personal screen stocked with movies, music, games and flight info. at no additional cost and that was great for passing the time during a long flight from Lisbon to NY. The crew was the best part, so pleasant and helpful and professional. We were instructed to close the shades and were allowed to sleep and woken up for the custom form and the great meal which had the option of soda or wine, etc. at no additional cost. The quality of the food was impressive and the salad even came with a packet of real Portuguese olive oil and vinegar. When appropriate we all had to open the shades and drinks were served again and later a small snack of a sandwich and a juice were given all in perfect timing."
Miinukset: "They kept us all day in the airport t to then tell us at 7pm that the flight wouldnt actually leave that day."
Plussat: "Lovely crew, nice breakfast, ON TIME!"
Plussat: "Stay away from TAP. I wish the people at the counter were just rude - they were tormenting us and lying to me about my luggage. When they found out I insisted on not checking my bag, they told me they would "keep it" in the meantime. Turned out they went ahead and threw the bag onto the plane. We ended up having to go find it at lost and found. They initially told me it was going to only take 5-10 mins to retrieve my luggage, but then 40 mins passed and still nothing. My poor mom had to wait by the empty belt - and boarding started and the luggage still wasn't there. They forced us to pay 35 euros (it's principle, not the money) when their policy said nothing about it when I booked it on the website. My mom was in tears and I had the worst few hours of my life. TAP - you are disgusting. It takes a lot for me to be upset but you really did everything out of your way to make us suffer. Even told us we might have to miss our flight. You put a huge dent on my trip."

Plussat: "Flight staff was great, service was top notch. food was surprisingly good, red wine included in your ticket. movie choice was good. coach seat was as manageable for a long flight. you pretty much know what your getting yourself into flying coach overseas. this was a pretty good seat."
Miinukset: "We flew thru about an hour straight of moderate turbulence but i'm guessing that was unavoidable. Checkin was a bit weird, they had a gate change and never announced it. Fortunately, i checked the board. about 6 of us had been at the other gate for a long while."

Plussat: "very pleasant experience flying TAP. Baggage check was free, and for our international flight we had a top notch entertainment system in seat. Would definitely fly again!"

They always came past to check to see if a passenger needed anything. Free bags is amazing then free pillows blankets and headphones I really hope I get to fly with them on my next flight abroad"

Miinukset: "The temperature on the flight was super warm. I was uncomfortable. I was told that with Layover I would receive my check in bag for Hotel stay. the attendant took a discription of my luggage for other united employees to tell me it would take 3 hours to retrieve my luggage. They didn’t even try to look for it or help me. Then what’s the point of taking my discription down? Now I have to stay at a hotel with nothing on me. So ridiculous and rude."

Plussat: "I found it appalling that on a 6 hour flight there were not only no complimentary alcoholic beverages, but that the price of a mini bottle of wine was $9!!!! Ridiculous."

Plussat: "Short flight, nothing to do with airline"
Miinukset: "Boarding was annoying and employees were rude. Had just gotten off of a connecting United flight and one of the employees barked at me that my carry on was too big and I had to close extra zipper even though I had no issues in the United flight I had just gotten off of......... I was starving and didn’t get a chance to grab food due to short layover time. We took a while to take off. We’re supposed to leave at 4:15 and left closer to 5pm. Then when we were on the air, flight attendants took a while to provide the snacks and water and they didn’t even get around to our row before they had to sit down for touch down. Smh. Terrible and thoughtless. Seats were uncomfortable and very little leg space. Entertainment only works if you’re able to download their app and of course no free WiFi because airlines want to force you to spend more money after you’ve spent a large amount to fly to your destination."

Literally pushing me out of the way as I’m trying to board, yelling across the plane, rude comments over the speaker... honestly surprised such a large airline would tolerate this."

Miinukset: "I don't have a problem with a flight being delayed for any reason. That is simply one of the hazards of flying. However, the PIT->ORD flight was delayed multiple times for unknown reasons. If the airline would have given a realistic timetable, customers could have managed their time much easier. Instead, United Airlines kept delaying takeoff for 15-20 minutes, multiple times. When they finally get the customers into the boarding process, they act like they're doing you a favor. Poorly managed, customers manipulated."

Miinukset: "The seats, hard as rocks, limited comfort, leg room, width everything, entertainment was down more then running, basically the cabin was dirty and as uncomfortable as I've ever seen or been in. I was more confortable sitting on bleachers with no padding than in one of this flights seats."

Plussat: "Cramped seatting, minimal food or beverage options and we were invited to provide our own entertainment. Pretty typical flight for ten or fifteen years ago. The crew was extremely pleasant. Very surprising and maybe the only saving grace."
Miinukset: "The airline is clearly trying to maximize profits by squeezing any comfort from the plane while still charging ludicrous amounts. Good for them. That's their free market choice. But do not then be startled that everyone is angry before, during, and after your flights. In the long run that's how you shed customers."

Miinukset: "We weren't allowed to put our carryons in the overhead. We were forced to put them under the seat in front of us because the plane was full. This left no place for our feet or stretching our legs. The seats were cramped so closely together, our knees touched the seat pocket in front of us. When putting down the tray table, it pressed against our stomachs. The landing was the worst and scariest one I've experienced in over 40 yrs of frequent flying. We hit so fast and hard that the plane teetered from one wheel to the other and fish tailed so hard that people's necks were hurt. If possible, I'll never fly United again."
Plussat: "The flight attendant was very fast at getting our drinks and snacks delivered - especially for a 44 minute flight! She was also very friendly."

Miinukset: "No head phones. toilet sink blocked paper bin not emptied check in at Rochester was a horror show. In end supervisor had to help. He said United wasn't connected to Air NZ star alliance. Also wanted to charge $35 for extra bags when we were flying business class from LA to Auckland. We are both currently Gold elite with Air NZ Cant use money to buy glass of wine or buy food. On way from LA to Rochester , 2 stages nite lights didnt work so couldn't read as window passenger pulled the blind down, it was night time."
Miinukset: "We boarded the plane when the crew knew of a 4 hour weather delay. As soon as the last person boarded we were told to disembark. The time kept getting updated in 30 minute intervals, but the desk staff said we wouldn't be flying for the entire 4 hours. We were again told to board the plane and we would be leaving early, but no we just waited on the tarmac for an hour until the original 4 hour delay. Just give it to folks straight. Everyone was frustrated due to the run around."
Plussat: "It was simple, straight forward, and easy. Encountered no problems, and the crew was great."

Miinukset: "I don't like when they leave me at the gate in my wheelchair. I don't like it even more when they take the wheelchair. I feel really uneasy when I am left at the gate. So I have the wheelchair pusher let someone know from the gate that I am there and will need assistance. Once again being sexually assaulted going through the metal detectors. Outside of being foreign most of the United employees seem like complete morons. Also there was that same bag in front of me. So my legroom was restricted."

Miinukset: "This is wrong. I should be reimbursed for the extra I paid on the Newark to Seattle leg. I booked for economy extra/comfort and got only economy (coach). And with no apologies, no explanation. also,,... The flight was delayed by > half hour (but this happens). However, the flight attendants were somewhat unprofessional in their language.and attitude."
