This crew could have made an effort to deliver the passengers to the Vienna on time or to delay departures of the plains that the passengers were connecting to. There is no excuse for what they did to us.

One flight attendant was amazing, 1st class although she wasn't even in business class. Somehow felt others were tired or mind somewhere else, so not really good service. Choice of food was basic, but good choice of drinks. Plane was comfortable and I think pilot was a woman, which is a nice change. Excellent that there are dividers in the middle seat in business class. Corona restriction rules, like mask wearing rules is extremely wise. Other airlines removed it, but I like better your choice better. Feels safer.

Miinukset: "We did not request special meals because in the past there has always been an option without cheese. For both legs of the trip, everything had cheese. They tasted great, but left my husband eating only bread. At the first meal the crew just shrugged their shoulders. Second meal they brought him a snack from business class, but it had cream cheese on the sandwich. Drinks were only served during the meals on an 8 hour flight. When crew came back through at the first meal, they only had two bottles of wine in hand offering top offs (no cart, just physically carrying the bottles). We do not drink alcohol. During the second meal I did not even see them offering the top offs. All other airlines have at least come through a couple of times offering water or soda. Announcements were only audible half the time. Customs forms were confusing for people passing through Canada. This might have been explained over the intercom, but again, it was hard to hear."

I was told that Lufthansa''s system does not communicate with United Airline System. I found this to be untrue because I have had code share flights between United and Luftansa for 20 years. At Munich I was told that they could not get me tickets either and said that there may be a security issue with me. Once I heard this I walked away."

Miinukset: "Honestly there wasn't much if anything to like about this flight. It was supposed to take off at 2:10am and I don't think we even boarded the plane until after 2:30. What's more is no one passed along any information, so no one had any idea how long a wait it was going to be. Needless to say it was very early in the morning, which is a horrible time to be left waiting and information-less. The delay definitely affected my perception of the rest of the flight as well. The comfort level was completely average -I'm a tall person so I've come to expect not being comfortable on airplanes, through no fault of the airlines. That being said despite it being a four hour flight, there was no entertainment on the plane unless you had downloaded the Lufthansa app and streamed through a mobile device. Given that there's no wifi in the Munich airport I don't see how this even would have been an option. Finally, the breakfast of eggs was really not up to par with what I've had on other airlines. I suppose it's unreasonable to think there could have been a food upgrade, but given that we were left waiting over an hour to board the plane (that not including actually finishing the boarding, taxi-ing to a runway and leaving) with no opportunity for food or drink, it would have been nice to actually have a decent tasting meal once we finally got going."
Miinukset: "Adjusting the reading lights needs to be more straight forward. It is always hard to find out how to turn the lights off. I like to sleep on planes and every plane seems to be different."

There was already a group forming a line at zone 4 for a good 15mins and another group created another line just 5mins before boarding and the 1st group had to re-queue. A few of us voiced out to the floor crew but they did nothing. Earphones. Could be supplied first since the flight is suffisent for a movie.

Problems with the in-flight wi-fi (none) and the flight info (none). However, movies worked fine and the selection is exceptional.

Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

When I arrived to the airport they said that because I didn't have a boarding pass they need to print it and charged me 50 euro. I felt that this was a scam for Ryanair to make money off their customers. They said it was Kayak's fault that I did not receive a confirmation email. Then after my flight left, an email came. I want a refund of 50 euro."
Plussat: "Everything was on time"

Miinukset: "I think standing in line for so long before boarding is ridiculous. Also, according to the gate staff my husbands bag ,which was smaller than mine, required a baggage fee as did mine. €110! On the return flight my husband was able to get his bag through and it fit just fine. He noticed mine would have fit as well. But another €55 for mine. Not much of a bargain."
Miinukset: "Terrible service. I am writing an email to Ryanair as we speak."
Plussat: "I don’t need anything fancy for a short flight. Low cost, safe travel is the primary goal, and that’s what we got. The ratings chart doesn’t allow you to choose N/A but there was no food or entertainment for me to rate anything, and for such a short flight, it wasn’t needed anyway."
Miinukset: "Baggage fees are too high. €40 for one bag, each way? Too much. €20 each way is more reasonable, in my opinion, especially when standard international carry-on bags are not allowed. So for one bag for a family of four, we had to pay €80 and still had to buy a carry-on bag that was small enough to be allowed, other than taking the kids’ school backpacks. Please reduce the cost of luggage if you need to maintain the much smaller carry-on bag size. Also, passengers should be directed to keep their carry-on above their own seat, and not fill the front overhead compartments if their seats are in the back. It causes a lot of confusion at time of boarding and de-planing. Some elderly travelers were unable to manage their luggage, let alone go against traffic in the aisle to find overhead space in the back when they likely paid more to have their seata in the front. Not fair at all to pay more for front seats but not have the benefits of those seats. Also, I used the online chat tool before the flight to understand the baggage fees. The representative on the chat was particularly rude. Not good customer service. I figured out what I need to know so that’s the most important thing, but there was no reason for his nastiness."
Plussat: "Plane and flight were fine once we got aboard and underway."
Miinukset: "Flight was over an hour late and that was very inconvenient since people were waiting for me. Boarding was disorganized and practically a riot. Airport at Catania changed departure gate 3 times, causing great confusion."
Plussat: "Flight landed 15 min early which was great but that's only because a lot of people have been complaining about their delays so they had to make it up in some way. I had to pay $50 for my luggage bc Ryanair believes that when you fly you should be empty handed. Smart crew we got going..."

Miinukset: "They were so late, almost missed my connecting flight - NO one is there to help or tell you anything. It was beyond stressful"

Miinukset: "Lines were long and we were charged for not checking in 2 hours early, then flight was delayed 2 hours."
Miinukset: "Marketing services"
Plussat: "I was very disappointed with checking in because I wasn't informed about checking in online. I had to pay an additional €150 and it's sad that you have to find ways to make extra money on us passenger's. Your rates are low but the extra fees cost more than the airfare. then when were ready to board they said my carry on was too big, which it was not and the stewardess wanted to charge us extra fee but when she realizes that it wasn't too big she still wanted to take our luggage because there was no room on the plane. In fact we got on the plane and there was plenty of room for our carry on I am hoping that Ryanair will do the right thing and reimburse us the extra 150 we were charged for not doing the online check-in that once again I was not aware of because I never received an email or a text as she stated I should have received. This is NOT right how you have low rates then we are forced to pay all the extras."
Miinukset: "I don't like how Ryanair charges a low fee but then adds all these extra fees because you didn't check-in on LINE etc. Snack or beverage was never offered and your hostess were NOT at all friendly."
Plussat: "Flight time and price."
Miinukset: "Flight was late, charged 15 € to print the boarding pass, it felt like we waited in line after line. It's Ryanair, so we expected the rotten experience, but had the flight been on time, the timing would have been good and the base price was reasonable."
Miinukset: "There was no window! Weird."
Miinukset: "You charged us for 4 bags, not 2. When we spoke On line your rep said that it was not refundable. We only had 2 bags and will definitely dispute this charge with our credit card company. Also, check-in online is very difficult- as is getting the boarding passes. Finally, we did not BUY and, I think out is spite, you put us 30 seats apart I know this is an economy airline-but we had NONE of these problems with WIZZ airline. 2 people should be able to sit together without paying an extra money. Your extra charges are really ridiculous."
Plussat: "Flight was on time departure."
Miinukset: "Very rude crew"
Plussat: "Every single one of the stewards was very good looking and very friendly."
Miinukset: "Boarding was rough, and as a foreigner, it's a bit of a pain to have to print boarding passes since we don't really have a printer available within the check- in time. Luckily we didn't check any bags, so we avoided extra charges there."
Miinukset: "Getting through security was ridiculously slow and crowded. We would have missed our flight but the wonderful agent at the gate called a special bus for us to get to the plane."
Plussat: "On time, low cost base ticket fare"
Miinukset: "Hidden fees, such as paying 55 euros for a carry-on bag that they claim did not fit in their ridiculously small box at the check-in gate. But, we were the only ones targeted for this additional fee (other travelers had much bigger bags, and were not charged the fee). I assume it's because we had US Passports, while the others were local travelers. Warning: you will pay low ticket prices, but they will burn you on added fees. Consider all hidden fees when comparing prices."
Miinukset: "No food, long delays and unexpected costs"
Plussat: "Plane was on time."
Miinukset: "The extortion at the baggage counter. The agent told us our carry on bags would have to be checked and charged us €55 to do it. On the flight, many carried on bags were much larger than ours. Then I watched bag after bag come down the luggage carousel with a "free gate checked" tag on them so apparently we were the only people chosen for the privilege of paying to have our luggage fly with us. Done with this airline."
Miinukset: "Way overpriced! We were charged excessive additional money after we booked"
Plussat: "I was made to pay for my carry on bag ostensibly because it was too large. The person ahead of me and the person behind me in the line had the same size bag and were not charged for their bags. The employee definitely had an anti-american attitude. I never want to fly on this airline again. Boarding and disembarking from the plane was like the great wildebeest migration on the Serengeti. No thank you."
Miinukset: "2 days before our flight we received an e-mail telling us to pay for our bag or we would have an excessive charge. Also, if we didn't print off our boarding pass we would pay a 17 euro fee for each ticket. It's a bit hard to print things while on vacation. This airline is LAME."
Plussat: "Crew was friendly and food service was patient and friendly to domestic and foreign passengers. No frills flight had the smoothest take-off, flight and landing. Passengers applauded after landing!!"
Miinukset: "Check-in lady at the desk was a bit impatient and rude if we did not speak Italian when we arrived too early before check-in started."
Miinukset: "online check in did not work so I had to purchase a boarding pass in the Catania airport which doubled the price of my ticket. What a scam. Beware!"
Plussat: "We arrived safely"
Miinukset: "They checked bags unnecessarily and charged high fees, a complete rip off, not customer service friendly at all (agents). During the flight they made so many announcements and then sold many things constantly from credit cards to food, duty free. Sooooo many announcements, forget about closing your eyes. Seats don't recline either at all! Overall like a herd of cattle forget comfort."
Miinukset: "There was no moment of silence. The crew was busy promoting their merchandise - perfumes and make up, and one sturdiest keep talking on the speakers about the wonderful quality of what ever he was selling. It was a terrible flight and we finished with a headache. Besides, we were charged highly for the suitcases, being a party of 4 (parents with 2 kids) with 2 suitcases 25 kg each. shouod have bought another bag for the kids.."
Plussat: "Not organized boarding; not comfortable seats; ridiculous prices for food that isn't even good! No entertainment at all. I sugest better prices of food and better quality as well; more confortable seats and some sort of entertainment!"
Miinukset: "Nothing was good to mention about it!"
Plussat: "Ryanair is the way to go if you want an inexpensive, no frills flight that gets you there on time."
