Almost the only airline that offers free coffee and bread even in short 1 hour flights
Wi-Fi didn’t work. Boarding was totally confusing. Guy next to me took more then his area. Constantly touching me pushing on me. Had a bag blocking getting out. Almost fell. Crew didn’t help
Problems with the in-flight wi-fi (none) and the flight info (none). However, movies worked fine and the selection is exceptional.

Miinukset: "They check for everything in the counter as if it was a low cost airline. If you go a kilo more over your baggage allowance you have to pay 100 eur. And for your cabin luggage you only have 12 kg that they check you twice and they have security staff at the airport specifically check in this."
Plussat: "The crew was great but the seat wasn't as comfortable and didn't have much leg room."

I had a seat that I purchased and it was very hard to recline I only found out that it did if fact recline it the last hour to hour and a half of the trip! It was a difficult push back to get it to recline"

Miinukset: "Crew was rude when I asked if there was a vegetarian option for the snack. I did request special meals for the trip. Even if they did not have a vegetarian option, they don't need to be rude!! Boarding was ridiculous. we were supposed to form a line and wait. Would have been a lot better if they boarded by seat numbers. Also they made me check in my fairly small and light carry on bag resulting in its contents arriving broken!"

Miinukset: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Plussat: "Flight crew on flight from Amsterdam to Cape Town were probably the most friendly and enthusiastic I've experienced and no, they were not all young. The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."
Miinukset: "The Entertainment images on the screens promoted Beauty and the Beast, Batman Lego movie but neither were on the system! Food quality was rubbish"

Spend 10HOURS on the phone to get on scheduled plane. BA made wrong date and was send in circles. 11houts before flight I bought different tickets to get back on time to LAX. No help from Finnair, British Airways and Kayak. Had so much stress and insanity from representatives about my flight. Kayak MUST have 24 hours live person. Was calling from Vilnius and getting machine from noon until 6pm, Vilnius time. Does Kayak knows calling rates!!! This was WORST experience ever!!!

Flight was delayed and they didn’t have any vegetarian meal options. You had to reserve online for a vegetarian meal. On other airlines you don’t have to reserve your meal restrictions. I was left starving the whole flight because they only had one meal option which was meat.
I transited through LHR on my way to and from Lisbon Portugal (Oct 27 & Nov 6). There were several challenges to add files and complete the Passenger Locator Form at home/hotel and at the airport counters. This presented further challenges to those without smart phones, charged devices or unable to access the internet. This was neither a user-friendly nor an intuitive process. Please consider sharing data with the airline(s) to facilitate this process and further simply the process for those in transit. Check in took almost 1.5 hours and a near-missed flight.
The baggage check was a nightmare. We got to Heathrow 3 hrs early but was in the baggage drop off for over an hour because BA kept bringing people who arrived to airport late to front of lines. At one point al 5 lines were filled with late arriving parties. Super frustrating. Then when we got to the BA drop off, the gentleman was a total jerk. Super upsetting. The flight crew and flight itself was fabulous. But the baggage drop was a nightmare.
The seats in the Airbus flight from JFK to HEL were a bit uncomfortable. The layover in Helsinki airport was boring because there were no stores open in the terminal and there was almost nothing to do for 3 hours.

Miinukset: "Window was dirty from someone touching it on a previous flight. Cannot wear headphones during takeoff or landing was an inconvenience. Cabin crew made sure all passengers were held tightly to their rules but then got themselves a coffee and chatted up front the majority of the time. (Only an hour trip, so no beverages or snacks for us)"
Plussat: "Comfortable seats and did not have to pay extra for a carryon luggage"
Miinukset: "The boarding process was quite chaotic and slow. There was no oversight of what people were putting in the overhead compartment so many were putting both their carryon suitcase and under seat bags up there leaving no room for our suitcases by the time we boarded. The flight attendants were eventually helpful in finding space by making people remove smaller items, but it was time consuming and avoided on most airlines we typically fly by enforcing bag rules as passengers are boarding."
Miinukset: "Wheelchair assistance at Heathrow was very very slow it took 2 hours to change gates within Terminal 5"
Miinukset: "Missing one suitcase and it will be delivered a day late supposedly"
Miinukset: "If we would have made the flight, unfortunately the flight from Malaga was delayed and caused us to miss the flight from Madrid to Chicago, I’m now sitting in Boston waiting for a flight to Chicago and will probably miss the last bus to Milwaukee"
Plussat: "The crew was very helpful in adjusting my flights. The lack of information on passport policies from kayak have made me disappointed on this company and I will not be using it or recommending it in the future. I had to spent over 300$ in hotels and gas to get to Miami to obtain a new passport."
Miinukset: "The booking services that kayak offered were not helpful at all. When I booked my flights to Spain the website should have alerted me that I needed a passport with an expiration date of over 3 months. Kayak should have information on travel policies to the countries they offered flights to."
Miinukset: "I somehow made my 35 minute layover, however I can’t say the same for my luggage. Totally unacceptable."

Miinukset: "Plane too crowded. There was a terrible smell in the luggage bin above my seat! The plane really needed a good cleaning !"
Miinukset: "Flight was cancelled. I found out as I was entering Nairobi Airport. The British Airways staff at JKIA were clueless regarding what to do with 200 passengers. It was chaotic, with no one appearing to know what options were available. It was a long night, and if my wife had not re-booked me on another flight out, I might still be there. Terrible customer service."

Miinukset: "BA doesn't allow guitars as carry ins, unlike most every other overseas carrier. That's a major negative for me, and I've spread the word to other musicians who will avoid the company. Terrible policy."

Miinukset: "Changed flight , couldn’t check in. I bought ticked on kayak but vayama was the actual ticket seller on behalf of Iberia which is a British airlines company. I couldn’t check and and customer service of vayama didn’t want to help and asked me to call Iberia. I called Iberia and after staying on hold for 40 min they told me to use the same confirmation number of Iberia flight on British airlines website. After a long day and a long and expensive uber ride I made it to sfo to see the flight has been delayed... never ever ever going to buy an international flight from Iberia, and very hesitant about kayak redirecting sales."

Miinukset: "My TV worked only intermittently and I therefore could not relax and enjoy the entertainment..."
Plussat: "So the 777 WTP is definitely more comfortable than the 787. Much better than the Beijing leg outbound. Entertainment option also improved as outbound they hadn’t changed since August."
Miinukset: "Dining options in WTP poor with breakfast being a major fail. English was potatoes, spinach, beans and mushrooms. Alternative was the same but with a slice of tomato replacing the beans and spinach. Inedible."

Plussat: "I loved the on-demand entertainment which starts as soon as you board the plane and continues all the way into landing / taxing to the gate."
Miinukset: "The system would not allow me to check-in / get my boarding passes 24 hrs prior to barding, which basically left me with a middle seat all the way to Seattle. I considered this a terrible process and didn't get a good explanation why I was blocked from doing my check-in online."
Miinukset: "We missed our connection flight, to make things worst, we had to wait 3 1/2 hours standing in line just to speak a British airways staff because many of the desks were empty and half the desks were catering to first class and business class passengers"

Plussat: "Staff are excellent, really friendly, respectful service. Food (expensive as always on planes) but excellent quality, really good choice to use M&S as providers. Excellent communication from pilot and cabin staff on delays before takeoff."
Miinukset: "System for paying by food with Avios points did not work. Plane left almost an hour late due to delays (landed 30 mins late)."

Miinukset: "The flight was late, that happens. There was no sufficient information about it though. Boarding was badly organized (could not hear BA staff yelling through the crowd). The 1000-year old 747s are really inconvenient and you could not believe how small the seating space is. To dot the i, of course we missed our connecting flight and got no information about it, again, only after running across half of Heathrow... About missing the connecting flight: it could have been avoidable with just a minimal amont of effort, or willingness, or any sign of care towards the passengers. Customer service is waaaaay behind my expectations."
