So from the scheduled time to arrive at Tokyo 5pm, we get to our Hotel at 2am. Good job Narita airport!"

They called Tokyo and were told that they had never seen my problem before either. Anyway, the ticketing supervisor stayed with me for 45 minutes until they could over come the problem. I would be a rich man if I had a nickel for every 'So-sorry' I got that day."

Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Miinukset: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

The last 2 flights which have exactly the same schedule, I used the hotel in that 8 hours between the 2 flights. I asked why, they told me that my ticket is not eligible to the hotel, although, I bought the last two times from Kayak, with almost same price. My first flight with Qatar Airways was on July 2017. My second flight with Qatar Airways was on August 2017. My third flight with Qatar Airways was on Jan 208."
Miinukset: "carry-on did not fit on center overhead compartment unless I put it side ways (Same carry-on suitcase fit nicely on Emirates airplanes, so the carry-on overhead compartments have been made smaller on Qatar on purpose or by engineering error, and I will not fly Qatar airlines again. Less food options. I went to the Gally and they only had kitkat bars for food. Emirates offer fruit, sandwiches, and many choices at ALL TIMES of the flight for economy class passengers. Entertainment computer (Android based system) ran slow and out of memory at times. Seats were not comfortable for 12hrs flight. My butt was starting to hurt. I did not have this issues on Emirates flights."
Miinukset: "I’m a 6’3” in shape man. I selected the bulkhead seats for extra leg room. Great crew, but my shoulders stuck past the seat edge 3” on both sides. Qatar should revise their claim of most room in cabin - this 12 hour flight was one of the roughest I’ve had in a long time comfort wise."

I was in front of the bulkhead so there was no other place to store my items except the overhead bin and the flight attendant took the space in my bin for some baby items she thought she might need for another passenger. I had to store my personal items away from my seat."

Miinukset: "-my seat did not recline, which I understand that I was close to the emergency exit but the person in front of me could still put their seat back way farther than they should be able to and I was unable to do simple things like put my glass of water on my tray -I had a vegetarian meal which was literally just rice and ground up brown mush-I have no idea what that much was -I asked twice for new headphones because my was broken but they forgot -When the flight attendant was coming around with water and she looked me to see if I wanted any and I said yes, she just skipped over me. I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."
Plussat: "Doha airport is easy to move through; They put me in an exit row behind a bulkhead has plenty of legroom."
Miinukset: "Reading light wasn't aimed properly, and there was nowhere to put anything because of it being an exit row behind a bulkhead. That meant, that I had to hold anything I wanted during take-off, and landing, and the entertainment system had to be stowed during those times as well, so I couldn't even listen to music as the only controls were the touchscreen."
Miinukset: "...as mentioned, I don't have the pleasure of rating this flight because of the boarding delays and missing the flight. Very disappointing."

Miinukset: "I was Told the flight form Doha back to Houston was over booked so I had to get re-routed through another city. For a $6,600 business class ticket this is very bad form."

Miinukset: "My return flight then follow on with Qatar airways to Baghdad was cancelled and they didnt tell me that on my first leg i could have stayed longer as i was re directed to a later flight making my total layover 18hrs in Doha i rather have stayed in Philippines that extra 8 hrs"
Miinukset: "I was sitting on seat no 15J. Head phone socket was not working. i cant charge my cell phone. It was 14hrs flight. It was very difficult for me to pass the time."
Miinukset: "is it true that Qatar treats the passengers coming to US differently than the passengers going out of US. I noticed that the crew was giving menu cards for dinner when coming back to US. Food quality is very ad, quantity is small also. same story with snacks. they don't offer enough food overall. The crew should be trained better for int'l passengers."
Plussat: "The flight service was great. We had a slight delay on the way back to Doha from Heathrow but they made up for it by getting us through security faster so I didn't miss my flight to Tokyo. Overall the timing was excellent and I got home without having to fork out any extra money."

Miinukset: "I got the last meal. For dessert I was given a hard roll, no cheese, no packaged water, no feta salad. I was bumped and stepped on by the crew with no apology. Food i did get was barely eatable."

Plussat: "Boarding was a breeze, which I tend to find as a standard here in the US no matter what airline. The inflight entertainment was the best part of an otherwise grueling flight. Pilots did of course get us safely to out destinations which we were thankful for."
Miinukset: "I knew going into this flight that it was going to be a Mid East meal selection, the flavors are not typically what I eat.. With that being said it just didn't agree with my stomach (That's all I will say as it could get graphic.) It would be nice if the airline offered you options to purchase from an inflight menu so that you're able to cater to your tastes or body issues. I found that during my 26+ hour journey after all travel was said and done I wasn't able to really eat anything. :( Lesson learned, I will definitely plan ahead. Comfort on a 15 hour flight and then on a 5 hour flight were pretty standard for flying coach.. You're not going to sleep well even if you take Z Quill or any other sleep aid unless you have the money to fork out for business/first class. Saving grace is the blankets that were provided. Our flights on the return to the states however where not as enjoyable. Qatar security confiscates water even if it is unsealed at that gate and the airline did not provide near enough to help keep passengers hydrated. Again the food was not a hit for us. Matters where made even worse that both my boyfriend and I both ended up with sensitive tummies during our stay in Sri Lanka.. We literally could only eat the rolls that were offered with the meals. Again would be nice if we had the option to buy, which we did ask about. Long story short, I believe we would not fly Qatar again."

Miinukset: "Attendants were negligent. Asked for water many times, but didn't get any response. They were busy chit chatting. Internet - only 20 mb , that too for 2 hours continuous. Food was not that good. And only 2 meals for 14 hr flight!!"

Miinukset: "The crew, instead of the usual isle by isle service kept the food trolly at the service station and bought back trays to passengers. This doesn’t have a clear logic to it, but the worst part was, was that they forgot where they were and I had to use my call button for a meal. People were skipped over and they mixed things up. Shockingly disappointing decline in Emirates service standard."
Plussat: "My flight left on time and from the moment I was greeted upon entering the A380 Airbus, I knew I was in for something very special. As prepared for departure, blankets and pillows were distributed amongst the passengers. Once in flight, dinner and in the morning, breakfast. And, throughout the night, the flight attendants attended to passenger requests for beverages and snacks. The plane was clean and, maybe I need to compliment my fellow passengers also, for the washrooms were clean and well maintained. We arrived on time and the trip seemed rather short with the entertainment of movies, news and inflight updates. Thanks again Emerates...you have brought back flying to it's original objective to give service and a safe means of travel. See you soon. Philip Dorn"

However when I arrived to my seat I was told that there is a handicap person in my room and I can't sit there and was offered a seat in the back of the plane. Yes of course I understand and wouldn't want to move a handicap person to get to my seat but at the same time I believe the seat assignment fee which I paid in advance should be refunded."

Miinukset: "The service in business class was extremely poor. There was 1 male flight attendant who was extremely rude and refused to help when there were problems with the entertainment center. Several of the monitors/remote controls were not working. The lay out in the business class prevents you from getting up and out to go to the restroom when the person next to you is lying down and sleeping. The seats recline in a way that are not comfortable. The feet are still downwards. Overall, this plane's business class was not worth the money. I expect much more from Emirates."

I was then charged $600 to reschedule for the next day. I was very displeased with these policies especially after I checked in online and arrived with plenty of time to board the flight (one hour ahead of time)."
Miinukset: "Again the same indifferent attitude by cabin crew towards student gustes and particularly females. I was sick on the fligt despite informing crew no care was taken. I lost one of my check inn bag airline is indifferent. No help or compensation."
Plussat: "ALL seats were super comfortable, the LCD screens were like suer HD! Crew was warm and everything was just perfect!"
Miinukset: "Crew didnt know about baggage transfer procedures from Emirates to JetBlue (Dubai - Boston _ pittsburgh). Knowing this shall ensure 100% customer satisfaction."
Plussat: "Great food. Decent comfort but only because the plane was pretty empty. Crew was great but they kept disappearing. People need to sleep, sure, but I felt a little abandoned at times. Good selection for movies and tv."
Miinukset: "Boston Logan airport was a mess. There were at least 15 people working at the gate, fooling around. Meanwhile we were all sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting to board. It was a bit rude."
Plussat: "The service I received in coach felt like first class on other airlines. I enjoyed the variety of beverages and food choices provided on the flight."
Plussat: "Ten hours into my flight from Dubai to Seattle on February 24, 2016, I became very ill, from food I had eaten the day before. I went to the back of the plane in search of a place to lie down. The crew was very attentive, making a bed for me, getting my feet elevated, checking in with doctors, and providing me with appropriate fluids and medication. I was eventually moved to first class for the remainder of the flight where I was able to get some much needed rest. A lead crew member named Marco was the most involved with my care and was genuinely concerned with my well-being. I was very grateful for everyone that helped out, but most especially I was grateful for Marco. The crew waiting for me when we landed was so amazing and attentive, I felt that I was in very good hands. Overall I was very impressed Emirates. Miinukset: "My only complaint is the distribution of water on all my Emirates flights. Whenever I requested water I received a very small serving, leaving me to ration my water intake. And the opportunities to receive water were limited."
Plussat: "Aisle seat makes Emirates Economy 10-across 3-4-3 layout more bearable than if in middle seat (especially avoid seats E & F unless you are thin + narrowbodied). Vegetarian Oriental meal was great, unlike on Chicago to Dubai flight. But stick with Asian vegetarian to get extra cheese + crackers, sauces, dressing."
Miinukset: "Gate entry + boarding process started too late, so we were stuck in a long, slow line. It got worse when 2 passengers' documents had complications, because Emirates staff did not ask them to step aside and wait for the rest of us to go first. Seriously limited overhead-bin space turned out to be another irritating problem resulting from this high-density, 10-across 777 Economy configuration. And staff forgot to give all of us the correct immigration forms for India, creating further headaches for us after deplaning."
Plussat: "A380 is so quiet and smooth. Nice to be up the front of the plane, albeit on the lower floor in economy."

Miinukset: "When I try to make the change of itinerary on Austrian Airlines on the selling web page, they told me to contact the Austrian Airlines, so I did. The Austrian Airlines lady who told me that I would just lose my tickets and that I could not even pay a penalty to avoid such thing, was very VERY RUDE!! As the Austrian Airlines did not offer me an option but losing my plane ticket,"

Miinukset: "Waited longer to start boarding the plane than the flight took. There are 2 gates in Lugano "airport" and no plane or flight at the other gate. Shouldn't be this difficult. The inflight crew was nice and attentive for the little time we saw them but the ground crew never ev n bothered to make an announcement. Just had us sitting there like a heard of cattle."

Then I was told I could book a seat 24 hours in advance. When I got email I couldn't--said I had to do it at the gate. When I got to the gate I was told I had a seat in the middle of the plane. Not true I was at the back of the plane. Just awful"
Plussat: "The flight was quick with a light meal once we were at cruising altitude. Friendly staff."

Miinukset: "At the gate the boarding processes was very slow because there was only a single person checking the passports and the boarding passes of all passengers. Surprisingly, this airline also could not provide a plastic bag for our checked in child seat, which is standard on other airlines."

Miinukset: "I had an overnight layover( I didn't realize it when I booked the flight.) At the airport, the sofas were comfy, but it was so cold that I could not sleep. The flight went so quickly that it didn't seem line it was nine hours."

Miinukset: "They ran out of food options by the time they got to us. The arm rest didn't work. It was broken. No solutions were found to resolve the problem."

The flight attendants were rushing and will take a while if you needed anything. I felt like I was taking a bus with graffiti all over the place."

I'm his mother, I'm currently visiting family in Scotland, so couldn't help him much. I'm pretty disgusting and disappointed by the whole experience."

Miinukset: "Exceptionally unhelpful customer service when asking about extra kilos/bags. Just quoted the online info back at us. We simply wanted to know how much would be charged if the bag was 1-2kgs overweight. We could not get a straight answer, just quoted the unclear company policy. Extremely frustrating and annoying. KLM offer a superior flight experience - it is a shame their terrestrial customer servic does not match it!"
Plussat: "The crew came to get me from the arrival gate to get to the departure gate since our plane was delayed. It helped to know that the airline was checking to make sure we made the flight."
Miinukset: "I did not get my luggage in Nairobi. The delayed flight that was the most likely reason it did not get to the connecting flight to Nairobi."
Miinukset: "They stole my money"
Miinukset: "Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Miinukset: "Pet was left behind at vacation destination as pet's reservation (made and confirmed through KLM) was not found at check in. Waiting for Customer Care to help get pet home and take responsibility for situation and getting no response. Very dissapointed, considering law suit."
Plussat: "Very efficient boarding, fast and professional but warm and friendly. The plane was very clean and quite spacious for a two by two configuration. On time departure and landing and smoothed processing at the other end."

Plussat: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Miinukset: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Miinukset: "They can not retire these old Boeing 747's soon enough. Due to mechanical problems, our flight arrived at LAXfour and a half hours late and further problems with the cargo door caused an additional one hour delay of our take off."

Miinukset: "Limited movie selection. Crew seemed stressed. Gave me wrong meal and then swaped for the right one. I asked for Diet Coke and was given white wine. Food quality was not good."

Plussat: "10 hour flight - I was well looked after, regular drinks, the food and snacks were good enough and tasty. The in flight entertainment was good - latest movies and worked a great variety of tv, books and movies. The airplane was modern and comfortable"
Miinukset: "Our flight from Nairobi to Lusaka was cancelled for some reason and we did not find out until we happened to log into the website to double check our itinerary. They automatically rescheduled the flight only giving us 25 minutes to reach our next flight...impossible. so, after calling, we were re-booked again and forced into a 13 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."

Miinukset: "Claiming that the plane was completely full (which it wasn't), They forced just about everyone to check there carry ons. When we got on board, there was plenty of overhead space. Supposedly, we should've have been allowed a carryon and a personal item."
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed for more then an hour and there was a last minute gate change to the other side of the terminal."
Plussat: "New plane, new seats, new entertainment system. All very goo to great. The dinner was above average in terms of taste but the breakfast was pretty ordinary."

Plussat: "I can't even count the number of times I have flown KLM in the last 4 years. They are my airline of choice when I fly back and forth from the U.S. thru Amsterdam to Nairobi. This last flight I boarded and then 90 very exuberant girls from London board in all the rows in front of me. I was concerned it was going to be a less than restful flight. Just the opposite. As always the KLM crew took extra ordinary care of all of use. The service was wonderful and I scooted off the flight ahead of the girls to make my very short connection. The crew is what always make the experience delightful! Thank you again KLM."
Miinukset: "It would be so nice if the arm rests came up all the way. When you have empty space on your row it would be nice to move the arm rests all the way and stretch out. Also there were not as many New Release Movies to choose from as usual, it seemed."
Plussat: "The refurbishments of the 777 aircrafts has definately improved the experience. Passengers were given full liberty to the entertainment unit. The one thing that gives that niche to the flight experience are the crew - I must say I have had 8 flights in the past 6 weeks but the crew of this holland airlines have been great on all klm flights. Please keep up the good work - your attitude is everything!"

The ergonomy concept is faulty in several ways: the plug for the headphone is in the inside of the armrest, the flimsy remote control is also hidden there and your thigh is covering it. The screen is horrible. Movie selection is very limited."
