Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."
Plussat: "I have never flown with Lufthansa, but now, I will fly with them any chance I get. The crew were amazing. Friendly and attentive. For airplane food, it was very good and tasty. Received headphones, a pillow and a blanket for the flight. Legroom was good, but probably cramped for people over 6'0" tall. 24 hour online check-in was smooth an trouble free. I like having the boarding pass on my phone. No paper to carry around."

Miinukset: "The fact that they gave my Aunt a hard time about the tickets that was bought for her, because we did not know that when a heavy person books a flight that they need one ticket and a xtra seat, but instead of working with her because she had two tickets they were very rude to her and told her she was not going to be able to come to america that when she got to Manchester she would have to go back to Germany. We were never told what happened to the other ticket since it was not used."

Miinukset: "Traveled with elderly father...all great until Boston Logan Airport. Wheel chairs supposedly went to wring gate. 5 or 6 needed chairs. Waited min of 10-15 minutes standing!!! My father requested to use bathroom... Boston Lufthansa staff refused to let him step back in plane leaving him standing and very uncomfortable!!! Staff on plane and others applauded at how poorly handled this was. Then finally got chair.. At end of ramp saw a min of 4 chairs and 3 people doing nothing... Still had 4 or 5 people waiting for assistance. Our assistant did not speak English... Or minimal... I told him where we needed to go for scheduled bus he did not listen... Dropping my Dad a significant distance from where I told him... He refused to take him there. Other wheel chair person was dropped there.. So not out of range... But found out they were dropped at wrong stop too!!! However... I believed that most was Logan's fault... But the lack of compassion on Boston Lufthansa was very upsetting to all... But .. Still believe Lufthansa is a wonderful airline and I will in time try to forgive that agent."

I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Plussat: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Miinukset: "One of the senior stewardesses we're very rude. Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."
Miinukset: "There weren't too many options. The movie selection was very limited and the tv show were over 20 years old in some cases"

Miinukset: "The "new" seats were hard and uncomfortable. Avoid any kinds of seats near the bathroom in a configuration with 3 abreast next to the windows. The "aisle" seat is essentially a "waiting area" for the rest room."
Plussat: "Fortunately, the plane was not full, so people could spread out a bit to create extra room. The food was really good! (surprisingly)."
Miinukset: "KLM's new configuration for this type of plane made the seats even narrower than before. While leg room was reasonable, the 3 abreast seating meant a lot of discomfort, especially in the row right in front of the restroom."

Ground staff in Marseiile great but gate crew didn't control carry on baggage and many of us could not use overhead bins because of passengers who stowed more than one and often oversized suitcases above, so we and many others had to place carry on suitcases under seat. Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."

They said we give you a window seat but we have blocked the 2 seats next to you so you have 3 seats. I thanked and asked for that aisle seat and they said no again. Then obviously both seats were fully booked and I jammed in the corner. Ridiculous."

Plussat: "I fly AMS to MAN regularly for work. There are a number of providers, but KLM far exceed the experience offered by low cost airlines, often for the same price even at short notice. You get a drink and snack; and at no annoying sales announcements. Miles club membership is free, even if you don't fly regularly well worth it as it halves the cost of cost of checked baggage. Peaceful airline with no hidden costs during booking."

Miinukset: "No overhead fan. When flight got really hot, no way to moderate temperature. No choice of food at all, unless you are in economy plus. I don't remember the last time that a trans-Atlantic flight had at least a meant, or fish, or vegetarian dish. Usually, at least two or three dishes. On SAS, everything has to be ordered ahead of time. Some of the flight attendants were friendly, some not so friendly. No free alcoholic drinks even with dinner. Limited regular drinks - they are only served with food, aside from that you have to purchase even the non-alcoholic drinks. The food just wasn't very good, even compared to other airline food. Compared to other companies, relatively small selection of entertainment. I had considerably more choice on a domestic flight than on a 9 hr. international SAS flight. Storage pockets at the seat are pretty small."

Miinukset: "I took this flight to have a short layer over, only 40 minutes. This was a connecting flight departed from Newark and was a connecting flight for many people coming from Thailand. I almost missed this flight due to highly backed up passport control. If SAS was running so many international flights, they should have shifted the layer over, since many people were taking connecting flights for Oslo to Manchester. No food, there should have at least been a snack or at a minimum offered water."

Miinukset: "No advance discussion about emergency exit row seating requirements, and we were not allowed to even have a paperback book to read in this row. The flight was full and boarded, so not able to change seats."

Miinukset: "I do not like the way they conduct their business from the office never returning phone calls as we are trying to get our questions answered. Would also be nice if the airline would use JFK instead of Liberty in Newark. Thank you."
Miinukset: "The SAS Supervisor at the gate permitted all preferred-level economy class ticketed passengers to board irrespective of the amount of their carry-on items - in some cases as many as three different items and many over-sized as per the measuring box located at the gate walkway, before conducting a bag-by-bag weight check on all the remaining economy ticketed passengers. Any carry-on item over 8 kgs was refused access to the airplane, and had to be unpacked at the gate in full view of other passengers to remove all electronic devices or breakable items, prior to being left with the gate agent to be placed on the plane as checked luggage. This procedure was conducted in an officious and highly non-customer friendly way, and was embarrassing to those passengers who had to "strip down" their single bag, in particular for female passengers who had overnight clothing and toiletries. A more practical and customer appropriate approach should replace such a draconian procedure."

This was not a Lufthansa flight, but the rude attendant insisted on enforcing Lufthansa rules on an SAS flight and refused to even allow me to voice an objection. I will not fly Lufthansa ever after this. SAS should have its own representatives who understand customer service at all gates."

Miinukset: "We were to fly from Bergen to Oslo, and then from Oslo to Stockholm. However, the flight from Bergen to Oslo kept getting delayed, so we were eventually put on a direct flight to Stockholm from Bergen. But for the 5 hour delay, we were given a food 'dinner' coupon that could have only bought a slice a pizza which we felt was extremely poor. Expected a better compensation for the long delay."

Miinukset: "When waiting to board the flight, it was difficult to understand when different parts of the plane were boarding because of the soft volume of the loud speakers. All people could really hear was "boarding now", which created a bit of a rush of everyone. It would be helpful if there were an SAS representative to stand next to the line, to physically say to people, 'Okay, we are now only doing priority boarding. If you are priority boarding, please stand her. After that, if you are business class, please stand here. Everyone else, please wait, but know that we will start to board from the back of the plane. Thank you." This will to help guide people BEFORE the ticket check."
Plussat: "Arlanda airport is quiet and fast. Security line took less than 5 minutes. The terminal was quiet and had a good place to lie down and take a nap. I did not feel anxious or tense like I always do in US airports. SAS is a great airline with pleasant crew and decent food. (Great food by airline standards.) Entertainment is great too -- lots of free movies on the built-in screen. My only complaint is that the airplane wifi wasn't free."

On July the flight was schedule for 9...pm then delayed for two hours because of a fire, other passengers said, in London. At around 11pm, we were asked to line up for boarding. We stayed on line for an hour and fnally to be told the flight was cancelled. We were treated less than animals by British Airway. No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!!! No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!! We slept on benches at the airport. To be fair to you, I will not recommend British Airway to anyone."

After we landed the plane came to a sudden stop and the Captain told us the lights to guide us to the appropriate place were not working this was a long delay. When we got to the disembarking area we had another long wait and the reason was due to the bridge not working,eventually we went out the back of the plane. The most unbelievable problem was the announcement just before take off that both rear toilets were out of action,since the flight was late this was an issue and I do not believe that both toilets could be broken more likely that there was no person available to clean them."
Plussat: "Had to deboard onto the tarmac via a set of stairs as the connecting ramp was not working. A little difficult for me due to mobility issues. However, the crew voluntarily saw me struggling and took down my suitcase, very nice!"

I have been on plenty of shorter and similar length flighrs that provided a much more reasonable amount of food. This seems to be the result of BA cutting corners on customer service."
Miinukset: "When I got to London British airways refused to board the plane that was originally scheduled to leave for Warsaw because there were not enough passengers. That happened twice. I was at the airport for over 12hrs and the airline didn't offer an explanation at all or even a food voucher. It was tortourous"
Plussat: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Plussat: "BA couldn't get our boarding passes to work no matter how many times they printed out new ones and we had to land into proper arrivals (though we were in transit in Heathrow) and tell five different groups of staff what was going on, even though it wasn't our problem but their computer glitch. One man at security was even rude to me, telling me not to just stand there. ( I had been told to stand there whilst they went and tried to remedy for the umpteenth time). When I showed him my disabled badge and said I would personally prefer NOT to be left standing for hours, he said 'so?'. It was a nightmare. It took hours and still wasn't sorted and in the end the immigration officers had to be called to the boarding area to allow us on the flight with non functioning boarding cards. It wasn't even our fault. REally upset about it."
Plussat: "The staff are friendly and cheerful. No food or entertainment for the short donestic flight (as would be expected anywhere for a 50 min flight)"
Miinukset: "Boarding badly organised ... signs telling you where to queue are double sided and depending which side you see first direct you into the wrong lane... Left a bit late but arrived pretty much on time. Baggage didn't arrive after a 2 hour transfer and this is the third time in four times over the past few years. I strongly do not recommend BA as a domestic UK connection after an international arrival."
Plussat: "Comfortable night, pleasant crew. The food was pretty good, and the flight attendants were attentive. I didn't have to ask for refills on drinks, etc. They also seem to get along well with each other, which makes for more relaxing trip."
Miinukset: "The drop down food trays were dirty and we had to ask an assistant to clean them. The light refreshments were served late - we were landing just as they were handing out the drinks."

I asked for water to cool myself down and ov waited about ten minutes to get it after hitting my help button multiple times. The flight attendants may have been overwhelmed with the requests as there were many just like me who struggled so they came off very rude. The plane was also not updated at all - not personal entertainment and once again, no ac/air for people to control."

The original plane had a problem and they replaced it with a tiny everyday commercial jet for a 7 hour flight. It was extremely uncomfortable and I felt like I got a bit robbed because of how expensive the flight was."
Plussat: "Cabin crew were excellent. At the end of the flight they let my airplane-loving son go into the cockpit, sit in the first officer's chair for a photo and even press a couple of control buttons (safely on the ground of course)"
