Plussat: "I had a window seat, the tv screen worked and I was able to watch a few good movies"

Plussat: "More leg room"
Miinukset: "One of the worst experience I’ve had, if not the worst. Lack of communication between flight attendants at gate was the main reason for missing our flight, after 2 delays from the previous flight. When we got to the gate they closed it at that moment, earlier than it should have. A Mr. Fenney, person in charge at the gate, didn’t help much. Just went through the motion and as slow as possible trying to help us. It seemed he just wanted to pretend he was helping us. Worse was his attitude when telling is the gate has already closed, didn’t do anything to help us, nothing at all. We had to literally get information out of him. We then went to customer service were the same thing happened, a lack of care that we missed our flight due to things out of our control. Even to the point where the agent told us “be sure to be there on time this time”, like if it was our fault we missed it (we told her the details of our situation). Till this point they don’t seem to care. They left about 15 people, that i know of, hanging. If they had better comunication between gates and waited a miserably 5 more minutes (although they closed the gate earlier then they should have) everyone would have made it. Throughout the whole process we noticed that american airlines employees did not care that many on that first flight had connection flights. They were just going through the motion, slowly while all of us were a bit desperate knowing that the layover time was going to be very close."
Plussat: "No free drinks no entertainment"
Plussat: "It was on American ticked through BA"
Plussat: "Everything was fine."
Miinukset: "No comments"
Plussat: "The food, comfort and entertainment"
Plussat: "The crew was not good"
Miinukset: "Seats were uncomfortable. Leg rest was uncomfortable. I kept getting notices that the flight was delayed up to 2hrs but got there and was on time. Then couldn't check in till a certain time; what's up with that?"
Plussat: "I found everything to be acceptable for me."
Miinukset: "I was in seat 43A and the light from the galley was a mite bright from my seat, but I simply covered my head with the provided blanket and napped at will."
Plussat: "Food, service, friendly, helpful Cabin crew made it a very positive experience"
Miinukset: "Entertainment system is really ancient, it's lagging other airlines in terms of display size & quality, user interface and programming"
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed and arrived to London late for our connecting flight to Venice, was rescheduled for another flight from another airport. Had to take the taxi to get there on time for our next flight."
Miinukset: "The seats were too close. The food could have been better."
Plussat: "Relatively confortable seating"

Plussat: "Crew was excellent"
Miinukset: "Food selection is terrible. Plainer, simpler foods that appeal to more people would be preferred. If you want to attempt to serve 5 course meals, that is fine, But, please have normal backup foods. In fact you would save a lot of money buy not putting seeds and grapes in the salads, buying plain white/wheat rolls with no seeds, and much simpler appetizers/desserts. I saw a lot of food being thrown away. Mine included. If you are trying to force people to buy food before they board, you have succeeded. TV displays and remote were very poor compared to your competitors."
Plussat: "Our flight attendant was very helpful when we were faced with dietary restriction issues."
Miinukset: "We had problems with the food. My son is allergic to tomatoes and mangoes while I am gluten intolerant. The options did not work for us. There was nowhere in the reservation that asked about this. The plane was about 80 degrees for the entire 9 hrs. My clothing was soaked with sweat. The legroom was less than on the domestic flight (AA carrier) which led my son to bother the person in the seat in front of us more. There was a male flight attendant that kept coming by to tell my son to get in his seat, which was not helpful. He is only 3."
Plussat: "Entertainment was good"
Miinukset: "Delayed by more than half an hour boarding and left nearly an hour late."
Plussat: "The attendants were professional and polite."
Miinukset: "Food needs work."
Plussat: "Super helpful Dallas staff"
Plussat: "Service was excellent and food options were above expectations"

Plussat: "Nice new airplane with good seat design and quiet and confortable in flight. AA crew was nice and entertainment was OK."
Miinukset: "Chaotic and ilogical boarding"

Miinukset: "There was no entertainment and that is a must on any transatlantic flight"
Plussat: "I did pay the extra for the upgrade and I loved the extra leg room (never mind being next to an empty seat) and the food was awesome. Which is saying something. And when offered wine with my meal she made sure to let me know that they has sparkling wine! Crew was great."
Miinukset: "We could have seen the crew more. They were great when we saw them and it was an overnight flight so they were trying (I'm assuming) not to wake people. But it was a but sad for those of us who didn't sleep. Would have been nice to been offered an extra snack."
Miinukset: "The tickets were never purchased at British Airways. I showed up at the airport and nobody had a record of me ever purchasing tickets. By the time we realized that kayak had not transferred funds to the airline, the plane had left and I had to completely re-book my trip at triple the cost. I will be disputing charges and contacting fraud services to resolve this issue."
Plussat: "I didn't have to swim home."
Miinukset: "Everything! Old dirty plane. Anounsments made by a man who's accent and poor English Meade it impossible to understand the same anounment that I thought I had memorized."
Miinukset: "Flight delayed three times."
Miinukset: "I hope that your company will go to hell"
Plussat: "Same as above"
Miinukset: "PS I don't think this review will even post, as this is the 3rd time I am writing it, mysteriously every time I hit "Submit" I get a error response and my review blank."
Plussat: "American Airline agent in Madrid was very helpful during check-in by finding us comfortable seats together."
Miinukset: "We could not do check-in on-line. Same as on the way from SFO to London and then Madrid. This is absolutely unacceptable. We plan neither use British Airways ourselves nor recommend it to any of our friends or family members in the foreseen future."
Plussat: "Crew was nice and comforting."
Miinukset: "Well, if I needed to send a fax, there was a line provided even with a mobile airplane phone that didn't work. The LCD screen didn't work on most seats, no USB charging, no adjustable headrests, blowers were barely functioning. The jet needs to be replaced especially for being an overseas flight."
Plussat: "Choice of movies"
Miinukset: "No personality of flight attendants-never tried to engage. Hardest, most uncomfortable seats I've experienced and I am a frequent flyer"
Plussat: "Arrived at my destination"
Miinukset: "Bought British Air tickets, got their partner airline American Air flight instead and didn't know of this switch until after purchase. Very rude! Crappy old plane, departed late, crappy food, mediocre service. I wanted British Air specifically as they are good in these areas."
Plussat: "Efficient gate crew at DFW"
Miinukset: "Airbus planes are designed for efficiency--not human passengers. As a thin person, I'm okay, but the individual space is ridiculous. Eye strain from having a screen 6 inches from your face, or less. Seats should not be able to recline in such a design. Can't get to carry on bag. Trash pickup was mediocre. Horrid space. "Entertainment" choices paltry."
Plussat: "It was somewhat brief, compared to the 9.5 hour flight just before it."
Miinukset: "Transferring between my flight from Madrid to my flight to Vancouver in the Dallas airport was an incredible pain. Sure, we had to go through customs, that's expected. Sure, wait for the luggage so you can take it through, right? We did. For 45 minutes. Then the announcement arrives: international destinations don't have to carry checked luggage through customs. That's why our bags never showed up. Now we have 45 minutes to get to our plane. We made it through customs relatively quickly, meander through the halls that guides are telling us to go through in order to get to our next flight... And then we arrive at the airport entrance, just outside of security. Thankfully, after alerting a TSA agent to our situation, we're not quite brushed off, but pointed toward another security checkpoint that might have a shorter line. We get back through security, and another TSA agent (who seems unsure we'll even make our flight) gives us directions to take a train to our gate on the other side of the airport. We sprinted. And we just barely made it. American Airlines was fine, Dallas airport and transfer protocols for international arrivals/departures were tedious, inefficient, and frustrating."
Miinukset: "Did not follow up on things they said they would come back for. For multiple requests. Also, didn't respond to the call light and had to turn it off and on a few times to have someone respond."
Plussat: "Direct airline"
Miinukset: "Delay, as usual on this rout because the airplane is too old and always have michanical problems From the inside it looks too old"
Miinukset: "Our upgraded seats were not available, will seek refund. My luggage was list and I had to buy new clothes."
Miinukset: "My seat had a broken entertainment screen. They were restarted a few times, but no one offered me to change seats to a functional one. There were seats in business and first class that were not taken as well as a few economy. It was a 10 hour flight!"
Plussat: "Comfortable, food was good. The crew was nice."
Miinukset: "Delayed 2 hours, in-flight entertainment and wi-fi did not function which is tough for a 9 hour flight."
Plussat: "Quick boarding"
Miinukset: "Unable to upgrade seats easily, upgraded seats given freely to passengers who did not pay for upgrade. Passengers who paid for upgrade were not given a choice of the available seats. Other passengers just moved to which ever seats they wanted. Like my upgrade money back!! Other than that, pretty good."
Miinukset: "No roomin seats and too close to seats in font of you. I was very uncomfortable through flight"
Plussat: "The service was great and there was plenty of leg room!"
Miinukset: "Old 747-400. The seats needed replacing. My seat had a hole in the padding and a wire bar to sit on for many hours."
Plussat: "Normal flight."
Miinukset: "These long haul flights are getting more and more cramped."
Miinukset: "we are 5 family members and one of us is a sick 8 years old girl. BA 193 was delayed 2 hrs while our layover was 3.5 hrs. arrived 1 hr before to go through immigration, collect luggage and transfer from terminal D to Terminal A running. made it to the gate 20 min before take off but they have sold our seats to other wait list passengers. they moved us to waiting list on another flight which was supposed to take off 1-1/2 hour later which was also delays an hour and we never made the list!!! We had to pay for accomodation for two rooms at the Element hotel neer the airprt and we are still waiting to catch a "finaly" confirmed flight Jan 4th at 1.45 pm. I plan on calling BA hoping to collect the hotel fees at least."
Plussat: "Very cramped and terrible food. Entertainment was very limited much better on other airlines."
