Lost one of our bags from Frankfurt to Palma!
The airport shuttle drive ran into a wall, causing a 20 min delay to a connect flight. He only spoke German and most if the travelers in the shuttle bus were non German speakers. The air hostesses were mostly brusk or downright rude.
The flight was half an hour late, which is the new normal in Europe. Friendly crew.
The cabin crew was excellent, efficient and professional. Some were knowledgeable in the passengers mother tongue, and addressed them in that language, a nice extra touch. Entertainment good, the plane kept clean. The food is the weak point: I have been flying Lufthansa quite a bit, and notice that their meals across the Atlantic invariably default to pasta. This summer, I flew both Air Canada and Lufthansa on different overseas flights. The food in Air Canada was better! That did not used to be the case a few years ago.
I will never fly with them again. Boarding experience was awful, food was awful, entertainment system did not work throughout the whole flight, the people in the airport were terrible especially in security
We missed this connecting flight because of the very late arrival of the first flight. We’ve been stuck here in Munich for two days. Disgraceful!
My bag was delayed as of now by one day, maybe more. Besides, the flight was delayed by one and a half hours.
One flight attendant was amazing, 1st class although she wasn't even in business class. Somehow felt others were tired or mind somewhere else, so not really good service. Choice of food was basic, but good choice of drinks. Plane was comfortable and I think pilot was a woman, which is a nice change. Excellent that there are dividers in the middle seat in business class. Corona restriction rules, like mask wearing rules is extremely wise. Other airlines removed it, but I like better your choice better. Feels safer.
I know it’s covid time, but a small dry snack and a bottle of water would have been nice: ons doesn’t always have rime to buy food while transiting!.

Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process.

Miinukset: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Neither company fixed the problem and I could not board the flight. I ended up having to rent a car and drive to Porto (6 hours away). Neither company have anyone that can assist with these issues on the weekend. The worst experience I could have had on my birthday vacation."

The gate building, where they carral you with the promise of bars and shops actually only had one small drinks stand selling terribly overpriced beverages. There was no air conditioning and it was about 30degress in there, there was not a water fountain to refill water bottles from so was forced to buy overpriced water. Plane ended up landing 2 hours late but the Ryanair staff gave little information or updates on this."

Miinukset: "Unnecessarily held at the gate for 45 minutes as the departures boards showed the flight as boarding - no way to get out of this area so stuck. Flight left late and then had to queue up to get access to a drop off area so missed my onward train connection. Paid for food in pounds but given change in Euros - disgraceful - don't offer to take payment in a currency you can't provide change for. Overall a poor experience, will not be flying with RyanAir again."

Miinukset: "Paid for priority, but there was no priority queue at all, then on the plane we were told yes you just push forward telling people you have Priority? Really? There was signage for normal queue and priority queue but inky the normal queue had staff on so had to join the normal queue. 26£ for what expect a refund"

Miinukset: "Boarding is a joke. Priority Boarding (paid) is a joke. Flight was 90 minutes late departing. Seats are so uncomortable and don't recline. Temperature in airplane was too hot. No overhead storage room so if you are travelling light (small bag) you get penalised and have to sit with it at your feet. Truly not the way to fly for anything more than an hour's flight."

Miinukset: "We didn't have our boarding passes, so they charged us 30 euros each to print boarding passes and then we wanted to check our suitcases and we were charged 60 euros each. So our original cost of the 2 tickets was a reasonable combined 110 euros, but then they hit us with an additional 180 euros for suitcases and boarding tickets. Felt totaled screwed over"
Plussat: "Simple, comfortable, practical & cheap.Love Ryanair...they make quick weekends away possible...Ryanair have changed. In particular the fact that they allow a second small bag in the cabin make them now a lot better than easyjet (My experience with easyjet recently has been much more pedantic & fussy & awkward). Ryanair gets you there cheaply and with a decent degree of comfort and service."
