Miinukset: "Full flight and tiny seats surrounded by 2 300lb guys and they wouldn't let me switch my seat."
Plussat: "Gate personal kept us notified about flight delay. Flight crew was very positive on plane and they were as miserable about the delay as we were. Snacks and drinks were brought out. The gate crew keeping us updated is what saved the name of Delta. If she didnt do that people would have been angry."
Miinukset: "Flight was supposed to depart at 0730. Actual departure was 1045. Three out of seven of the flight crew were not happy about how badly they were being treated by call center and /or management while they were delayed with us at gate. Snacks were brought out because of delay but they were just junk food. Nothing I could eat due to allergies."

United crew hid in the galley the whole trip wit lititle to no interaction with passengers. My flight today on Delta was great; food really excellent (Chicken Tika) and the crew was great as usual. Delta remains the best."

They would push and shove anyone in their way, instead of saying “excuse me”. Paying for ONE check in bag should not be $95. Most airlines charge between $20-50 for the first bag. Also no snacks for a long flight."

Plussat: "The crew was good. They always are. The entertainment system was better than most, although very limited offerings. TIP: Bring your own headphones, standard 3.5mm phone type jack. They charge if you need to get a pair of theirs. Nice to also have a USB charging port at the seat too."
Miinukset: "KEF airport boarding area very contested (D gates). Standing room only, very little seats. Flight was delayed departing leaving and the crew showed no need to inform or explain to the passengers. Included food non existent. Overpay or an airline sandwich if needed, so just bring your own. But that's to be expected in this era."
Miinukset: "Flight was more than one hour late"
Plussat: "I was transferred to a direct British Airways flight to Heathrow that arrived in a time-frame that was close to when I would have arrived there on the Icelandair service. The transfer (including check-in luggage) was completed rapidly with minimal inconvenience which was appreciated"
Miinukset: "The scheduled Icelandair flight was cancelled at late notice because the aircraft was unavailable. I defective part could not be delivered and fitted in time for the aircraft to be available at Sea-Tac airport."
Miinukset: "I wasn't on their passenger list. Wi-Fi is expensive for how unreliable it is. Sometimes it works flawlessly, sometimes it doesn't work at all. They also lost my luggage. Overall, a very poor showing."
Plussat: "A passenger that I was going to sit with had an obvious head cold or flu. Due to my own medical recommendations, I calmly asked a flight crew member if I could change my seat. I was helped nicely, no big deal. Thank you So much!!"
Plussat: "Connecting flight on Finnair albeit from Oslo, Norway, delivered as promised. On time departure and arrival. What a relief. Too bad Icelandair ground ops did not get our luggage on board. No surprise there. Lost valuable vacation time and money tracing and recovering our possessions."
Miinukset: "From delayed departure from Dulles to hot airplane, cramped seating, minimum service, late arrival in Reykjavik and 19 hours of constant gate changes, nothing went right for the airline and the hundreds of frustrated passengers. Waited from 0730 Saturday to 0300 Sunday to continue to Helsinki. 5 unexplained flight delays and last minute gate changes before flight being cancelled and rescheduled. What has happened to Icelandair?"
Miinukset: "My final flight and I was going to finally get some food. Only to find that without a major debit or credit card that wasn't happening. I needed to pay for my breakfast and cash was not acceptable. In addition to a massive overflow of parents going through passport control and neatly missing my flight I was quite unhappy"

Plussat: "I took an Icelandair flight a few years ago and this time around I noticed that the entertainment system had been significantly upgraded. The food options were a bit better too. All for purchase online, but, actually, pretty reasonably priced compared to what buying a sandwich, for example, costs at a grocery store in downtown Reykjavík. Also, all the staff were friendly and helpful."
Miinukset: "The boarding process was interesting - because our flight was late getting in, I thought we would miss our connection but the passport control was quick and easy and then our flight left late so there was no need to rush"

Our connecting flight landed on the other side of the airport and after literally running through DFW, we were told our flight home had already boarded, we arrived at 6:21, flight left at 6:30. American Airlines screwed us again. Just paid $300 for a rental vehicle so I could make it home."

Same duration flight fromLAX to MIA, same plane, but we received a nice pillow and blanket, as well as a little travel kit and bottle of water. Seems strange there are different standards for the same duration"
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed for no reason given. Flight attendant touched my baby without asking if it was ok. Too many announcements over the speaker. 20 min one trying to sell us a credit card was ridicoluolously long. It was also after an ad for it on the video screen."

I had a broken foot and it was difficult for me to fit my boot and personal item under the seat. Rather than assisting me, she barked commands and quickly walked away as I attempted to address the situation. - poor attitude - failed to ask if I wanted a biscuit but simply slapped one down on my tray table (I HAVE CELIAC DISEASE) - American really needs to catch up with the other airlines and offer a GF option to those of us who have immune disorders. - no WiFi"
Miinukset: "This was an updated 737 with pleather seats and a sleek look inside. But what matters most is leg room for me. There was none. I flew for 5 hours in totally cramped conditions. I loved the page in the mag about seat exercises to keep your leg circulation up. Couldn't bend my knees even. Disgusting"
Plussat: "On time departure, early arrival. Comfortable journey. Our pilot was a woman! Go girl power!"
Miinukset: "The WiFi did not work. You couldn’t download the American Airlines app. The crew forgot to give me my complimentary drink. After attempting for 10 minutes, Gave up."
Miinukset: "Boarding at Terminal 3 gate A8 was slow and a single line makes for a lengthy process."
Plussat: "AA had fantastic service, no complaints"
Miinukset: "It was completely unclear where to check in, Staff extremly unfriendly. At the check in counter, on my question if we can get two seats at the aisle the lady immediatly shouted to me I have to pay 93 $ per seat. In the end she gave us two diffrent seats in diffrent rowes and in the middle. In the plane ,enough seats were free so we got what we wanted in the end. Service on board was excellent. The onground service was so terrible and mean, that I will most certainly not fly AA if possible"

Miinukset: "I was astounded at the miserable "cattle car" experience of this flight. When the person in front of me reclined his seat, the back was shoved to within about a foot of my face. Talk about "In Your Face!" It was nearly impossible to exit from my window seat to the aisle, since there is almost no vertical space open from floor to ceiling in which to move. Flying used to be fun--this is awful!"

Paid over $1,000 for a flight leg that one way and direct on another airline (Alaska air) was $281.00 and the agent took so long to find redirect flight that they couldn't book. Total mess! While struck on the second leg and speaking with AA customer service about the reschedule I was told that they didn't have the ability to rectify the error because they no longer had control of my ticket and that I had to take into consideration that three was an event in San Antonio that caused delays network wide that added tio the initial issue... HOGWASH! 1) it was another AA issue where an AA aircraft drive of the runway while I was in flight on the first errant leg. 2) if they had just been straight from the outset, I wouldn't have been delayed. I will never fly AA AGAIN!"

Plussat: "After missing my flight and zero empathy from AA employee who reassigned a new ticket - I was given 3 new times and an explanation that no pilots were there yet. Flight was short and painless -- but the scheduling was totally frustrating."

Miinukset: "When I noticed on the itinerary that the layover only gave me 35 minutes I knew it would be a problem. I missed my flight and never got to Pensacola . AA staff were not very Empathetic. It seems to happen often. I'm in a hotel and praying that my flight leaves today."
Plussat: "They changed my seat twice to accommodate mother's with children. Lost my window seat. Told me no more room for carry on bag. Was my only bag cause doesn't want to go to baggage claim. Cost me extra 45 mins claiming my bag."

Plussat: "Finally getting home safe and sound."
Miinukset: "It was close to an 8 hour layover for a 35 minutue flight. We almost made an earlier flight that supposedly had room for our luggage but not us. So when we finally got to Pittsburgh our luggage was just sitting at the terminal unattended. Hundreds of people were delayed or had cancelled flights and it wasn't due to weather or related conditions. It was lack of planes and what appeared to be double-booked flights."

Miinukset: "Upon checking in a boarding time was given of 0530. A line formed to get in a row 1/2. I would think business class would have a separate boarding rather than line 1. Once in line there was over an hour delay in boarding with no I repeat no information coming from the boarding agents, people were not happy as I heard many complaints. I was lucky and got a electronic notification but no reason. What a way to start a vacation!"

Miinukset: "The seats are small, no real space, things over all looked run down, feels like I’m taking a city bus but even those have more room."
Miinukset: "The fact that they give all first class passengers dibs on the hot food and that leaves NOTHING for the folks in economy plus. The FA said that they only had a limited amount anyway. I was willing to purchase that buy high food cuz I was hungry instead I filled up on water and ginger ale and went to sleep on the 4 1/2 hour flight."
Miinukset: "Everything about it was appalling. It still angers me to think about how awful they were. The fact that I got there 6 hours after I was supposed to be there and spent 3-4 of those hours stuck on a runway was absurd. The pilot and crew's attitude and shortness made it even worse. Never again."

Miinukset: "I bought first/business class ticket for my wife & myself. The sitting was comparable to premium coach level, my overhead bin was occupied by someone else. Food service was acceptable. I am medium built, the lavatory was very tight I felt sorry for larger than my self."
Plussat: "It was generally quiet and peaceful. I called the stewards at one point and they were very prompt and attentive."
Miinukset: "Teeny tiny seats on an overnight flight? I had to ask my rowmates to clear the row so I could find my glasses that had fallen under my seat because there simply wasn't room to maneuver even an arm down to manually search for them. This is not to mention that most people sleep on these flights; how is that comfortable for most regular Americans?"

Plussat: "My flight attendants on my flight were wonderful and so was the boarding crew at San Fran's airport to Las Vegas were awesome as well. The space I had on my connecting flight to vegas was awesome and the feature it had to charge devices were a nice too."
Miinukset: "The crew at the front desks and at the boarding area for my flight from Anchorage, AK, to the San Fran airport however, were extremely rude. The rating for the crew is a 2 because although my flight attendants were awesome, but the service given to me and to my fellow flyers by the Customer Service Agents/Reps at the front desk and the training of a newbie at the gate, when boarding at the Anchorage, Alaska, airport was terrible. They were extremely unprofessional and did not seem to care that the tones of their voices, their facial expressions, as well as their body language, showed that they lacked the manners and knowledge of compassion, respect and courtesy. Their rotten attitudes were insufficient at making the customers/guests of the airlines feel comfortable before flying. I did not appreciate being spoken to the way some of the reps did."
Miinukset: "Our flight was cancelled just as we were leaving for the airport. We had to rebook on another flight which then was delayed 4 hours. Since this was a much longer than we were planning on being at the airport, we had to eat at the airport while waiting for our flights. It was expensive and not good. Then our connection was literally 20 minutes. Very tight."
Plussat: "I missed my flight with Spirit airlines due to their extremely slow and unfriendly service I booked a flight through Kayak on the spot, it was easy and prompt and the Kayak employee was knowledgeable Thank you"
Plussat: "The attendents were helpful and nice except in the situation I've listed in dislike. The plane left on time and arrived early and we didn't have to wait 20 minutes for a gate to open up."
Miinukset: "I chose the back window seat right in front of the restrooms. Crewmember even said it was the worst seat in the house. Although I didn't pay to upgrade, thee were available seats up there. The attendant even said she would ttry to move things around once people were seate without anyone asking. She just knew our row was going to be uncomfortable.. I am tall with big shoulders, the gentleman next to me was large. All that I ask is the attendant come back after all is settled and explain that it wasn't possible to move things around. Although, if there were seats available I should have been offered a different seat. I have flown a lot on different airlines. I've flown on a 15 hour flight overseas. This is BY FAR the most uncomfortable I have EVER been."

Miinukset: "Delayed 2-1/2 hrs at gate due to mechanical problem. Mechanical problem fixed in 30 minutes, balance of delay due to paperwork. Communication from cockpit was terrible. On arrival, agent had trouble opening door and was panicked and rude."

Miinukset: "If nothing else United has been consistent in their late departures and arrivals backed by absolute lies about the reason for delays. Staff says one thing then Pilot says something completely counter. Then the lack of any sort of heartfelt appology adds to the insult. Every flight was overbooked by at least 5 people. Total incompetence. Moreover, United has made profit so obviously more important than client comfort. The seats were similar to a straight back Dining room chair except with your knees in your chest. They even took away the seat back pouch as a smal comfort to place items to be replaced with an 8 inch high mesh that fits nothing larger than your cell phone. A 6 hour flight and 1 drink service with 1/2 glass of soda. Pay $7.99 only to find out that video does not work through Canada which was the majority of the flight"

Miinukset: "After boarding, we waited on the plane for a long time before they said there was a mechanical problem and we would need to deboard while they fix it. After waiting another four hours they finally canceled the flight. They couldn't get us another flight and said to come back the next day to see if there is another flight out."
Miinukset: "I was not told that if I voluntarily checked my carry on bag I wouldn't be able to make flight changes later."

Miinukset: "I am 5'4" and had no leg room. My knees touched the seat in front of me the whole time. The in seat entertainment was broken on the entire plane for the flight. Simply won't ever fly in a plane so cramped ever again."

Miinukset: "Entertainment was not given freely, as if you didn't just pay 300 per ticket to fly on United. It would cut in and out just to tell you it wanted your credit card. The seats were so full the middle person doesn't even have room to sit up straight without touching shoulders"

Miinukset: "They canceled my flight, lost my luggage made me miss events in my life on my vacation and only comped me 20$ food ticket which is nothing in an airport. And I was stuck in an unfamiliar airport for 10 hours waiting for a new flight through another airline. Oh and dod I mention the bag they lost for a whole day was 50lbs of fresh Alaskan seafood and yes it all was thawed.... I will never fly United airlines again."
Plussat: "Needed to get to a hurting friend asap who's husband was dying. When I checked my luggage the delta employee gave me a heartfelt hug & words of encouragement Which meant more to me then anything. That's not in any training manual that's the heart of a great employee...."
Miinukset: "Mechanical delay where the flight attendant kept saying "ten more minute" but it took nearly two hours. Don't overpromise and under deliver. Then we pushed back and got stuck on run way for another hour."
Plussat: "Once on the aircraft everything was just fine"
Miinukset: "First of all it was delayed, no big deal but once i checked in I wasn't even assigned a seat. I try to find an agent at the boarding gate and none to be found. They finally arrive 30 min before take off and then assign me a middle seat when I specifically picked my seat weeks earlier and of course was one of the last people to board barely enough time to search for a place for my bag and get to my middle seat in the back of the aircraft. Not even a sorry or any type of compensation for a terrible experience"

Miinukset: "Lack of hotel. They did not even offer a hotel."
Miinukset: "Everytime I was about to board there always seemed to be a problem with the flight it didn't even miss. Having so many problems caused delays. When other people including myself had other connections to get to and made me run through airports and I actually missed a flight and instead of taking one direct flight to Puerto Rico I had to take two more flights."

Miinukset: "United has squeezed its Economy class customers into seats that are tolerable only for the shortest. If I were an inch or so taller, I would have found the space intolerable. As it was, my knees were against the seat in front. For a flight as long as this one (over 5 hours from Anchorage to Denver), it was uncomfortable to say the least. The middle of the plane was nearly empty, because United charges $75 per seat for an upgrade. For the round-trip for two of us, that would have added $300 to our bill. The fact that so few are willing to pay the upgrade fee indicates that the increment is too large."
