There was a delay - weather + French strike. Pilot was helpful/informative, flight crew was nice but simply talking loudly in galley and not communicating at all. No preflight water or drink even though delayed.

Oli kylmä. Aika moni aivasteli tai niiskutti 12 tunnin lennon päättyessä.
Koneeseen pakkautumista voisi järkevöittää, esim. rivi tai muutama kerrallaan, jottei syntyisi ryntäylyä ja hässäkkää.
Tuntui kuin lentokenttävirkailijat olisi olleet TET-harjoittelussa. Ongelma ei tietty ole Finnairin henkilökunnassa vaan Münchenin kentän virkailijoissa. Oli kuin kaikki olisivat ensimmäistä päivää töissä. Todella heikkoa toimintaa.
Dinner was very salty, chicken with broccoli. Quinoa salad? The dinner on my flight JFK-Helsinki was excellent, kind of a roasted chicken with sauce and potatoes. Other than that, I love having wine with dinner, blueberry juice, coffee. I'll fly Finnair again.
Henkilökunta oli ihan ystävällistä. Koneeseennousu oli hidas. Tarjottavat ovat nolla-arvoisia, vain lasi vettä ilmaiseksi, ei ole toimiva konsepti ollenkaan.
Ostettiin lentolippu yhdessä, ei siis pitänyt olla epäselvää, että ollaan pariskunta. Meidät kuitenkin sijoitettiin istumaan koneessa kauas toisistamme. Pärjäämme toki itsenäisesti, mutta moinen homma vaikuttaa lähinnä kiusanteolta. Eikä suinkaan asiakaspalvelulta. Terveiset siis Finnairille tai muille, jotka olivat järkkäilleet istumapaikat.
Palvelu oli erinomaista, kone oli siisti ja aikataulut pitivät hyvin. Ihan pieni suma syntyi koneeseen noustessa kun eri boarding-ryhmät sumppuuntuivat putkeen. Pieni tauko boarding-ryhmien välissä olisi tehnyt siirtymästä vielä asteen sujuvamman.
Hyvä, nopea lento, Hki lentoasemalla hyvä palvelu
lentoemännät hoiti tehtävänsä hyvin. Koneen ilmastoinnissa oli vikaa, tuli vilu.
Lento aivan täynnä ja bourdauksessa ei mitään järjestystä. Tuntuu siltä, että Finnair sijoittaa pariskunnat erilleen ilman erillistä maksettua paikkavalintaa.

Lento 3h myöhässä. Informaation kulku hidasta ja sekavaa.
Lähtöselvityksessä oli vain yksi henkilö, mikä ei vastannut lainkaan tarvetta, koska hän oli ERITTÄIN HIDAS - ja hieman tyly (?). Passeja hän pyöritteli todella kauan ja tavasi hitaasti kirjain kirjaimelta nimemme niistä ja vertaili kuvia meihin. Tuntui todella oudolta. Lisäksi tarranauhat taisivat loppua kesken ja hän joutui hakemaan niitä muualta. Meillä (kolmen hlön perhe) oli ainoastaan yksi laukku menossa ruumaan, mutta virkailija yllätti meidät vaatimalla myös käsimatkatavaramme ruumaan, koska tilaa olisi kuulemma liian vähän. Luonnollisesti olimme pakanneet kaiken säännösten mukaan ja tässä hässäkässä ruumaan joutui myös elektroniikka, jotka olimme jättäneet käsimatkatavaroihin. Virkailija ei huomannut kysyä asiasta, emmekä me kiireessä muistaneet sitä. Lisäksi jouduin todella vaatimalla vaatimaan, että sain yhden laukun käsimatkatavaroihin, koska sairastan diabetesta ja astmaa ja olin pakannut matkalla mahdollisesti tarvitsemani lääkkeet ko. laukkuun. Ehdin jo hieman hätääntyä asiasta, kunnes virkailija "armollisesti" tuli sen verran vastaan, että antoi minun valita yhden kolmesta laukustamme matkustamoon. Yllättävää kyllä kone pääsi kuitenkin lähtemään matkustajien puolesta ajallaan, vaikka jonottavat pitivät sitä mahdottomana. Lento sujui muuten hyvin, paitsi jalkatilat olivat todella surkeat verrattuna menomatkamme koneeseen.
Kone oli kolme tuntia myöhässä.... Meitä pompoteltiin portilta toiselle. Ilmastointi oli olematon.
Lento myöhässä 9h ja lähtö seuraavan vuorokauden puolella. Ei mitään tietoa finnairilta kuinka toimitaan, miten yöpyminen hoidetaan, mitä korvataan jne. Surkea suoritus.
Asiakkaita suositellaan menemään kentälle hyvissä,ajoin, mutta finskin lähtöselvitys ja bag drop portit avautuvat, aina, liian myöhään. (munchen)

Edelleen toivoisin edes kahvia maksutta, Air France osaltaan tarjoaa jopa pientä syötävää ja muuta juotavaa.
Koneen kapteeni ei kertonut mitään muuta lennosta kuin lähtiessä lennon kesto. Olisin halunnut tietoa esim lentoreitistä.
Lento oli lähes 3 tuntia myöhässä emmekä saaneet mitään tietoa mistään. Emme saaneet myöskään vouchereita.
Finnair arpoi edellisenä iltana check-in:ssä mieheni riville 29 ja minut riville 16 eikä näitä voinut muuttaa. Finnair rahastaa kaikesta, vaikka ei tietääkseni ole ’halpalentoyhtiö’. Mustikkamehumukillinen on ainut, mikä kuuluu hintaan. Menolennolla KLM tarjosi suolaisen ja makean välipalan kaikkine juomineen (kahvi, mehu, virvoitusjuoma, olut, viini). Kännykän voi ladata. For free.

Kun Finnair ei tarjoa muuta kuin mehua ja vettä niin olisi mukavaa että edes voisi ostaa jotain vähän laadukkaampaa syötävää kuin nuudeleita!
Lähtö myöhästyi 55min. Oli lähellä että olisimme odottaneet 1,5h koneessa, mutta saivat uudelleenreitityksen.
Henkilökunta oli tosi ystävällistä ja muutenkin koko koneessa oli hyvin rauhallinen tunnelma. Tosin kone oli hyvin vajaa.
Erinomaiset ja viihdyttävät lentäjät mutta lento lähti myöhässä

Miinukset: "Cancelled the flight from Cologne to Zurich - It was showing on time when we left home, but at the airport we saw the status change. No one called or emailed us even when all the details are provided while booking the ticket. The line for the ticket counter at the airport was miserably long, so we had to use international roaming to make our calls to customer service. They never told us why the flight was cancelled and changed the topic to how they can rebook us - my suspicion is that there were very few customers for that flight so they thought its cheaper to cancel the flight and let the customers figure out the solution. Horrible! Te only option given to us was a late night flight to Vienna (more than 12 hours later), and then staying overnight there and then flying to JFK. That was of course unacceptable as we had to join work on Monday. I asked them to then look into Dusseldorf and any flying options from there. They were able to book us a flight from there. We rushed to DUS airport - The email confirmation took hours to show up in my inbox even though they promised 10-15 minutes. After waiting for the confirmation for a little, we had to take a cab from Cologne airport to Dusseldorf airport. It cost us over 200 euros and a lot of stress. The whole experience was a nightmare and I would not wish it upon anyone."

I stood around for 20 minutes asking anyone who would help me where the desk was. We were finally notified at 8:40 that eurowings was the last desk in the aisle."

If that's the case then they should stop serving other customers anyway and tell us beforehand so that we can arrange our own food/drinks from the airport lounge"

Also, crew were completely unhelpful, did not want to lift a finger for us. Luckily, a kind lady switched seats with me so I could sit next to my youngest son. Especially on a brand new planes there is no excuse, the pre ordering of food on the flight is a fine idea just ensure the all interfaces to book the flight makes this VERY clear that’s required."

This was on a 777 operated by another airline from Paris Orly to Newark. On the way in, we were on a Norwegian 787 from JFK to Charles de Gaulle and the flight was much better, but took forever to get off the plane and into Paris."

Miinukset: "Our recent trip from Newark to Paris was a series of missteps by norwegian. Some of them costly to us financially and some simply very annoying. It is not worth going into detail here. Suffice to say that it is simply not worth it to fly this very poor airline."

Miinukset: "The process was non-existent. Simply terrible and not thought through at all. First there is no on-line check in. So, you arrive without a seat assignment or boarding pass. Stress. Then you go to the small handful of kiosks and find that only a couple are working. So you wait in line. Then you get your boarding pass and walk to the security checkpoint as you do with every...other...airline..ever. You wait on line and watch countless people being turned away from the security person. You wonder why out loud and surmise with the passengers around you - but we’ve all flow. Hundreds of times before, and we all have our boarding passes and no checked bags. So, you think youre ok. Stress. Then when it’s your turn, you get rejected because you have to have a “stamp”. What stamp? I scanned my passport at the kiosk and I have a “known passenger” number. what stamp? Go back to the counter and wait on a loooong slow line. They want to weigh our bags. Why? They are all small carry-ons. We’ve all done this a thousand times. Nope - Norwegein weighs your TOTAL carry on and it all has to be less than 10kg. 10 kilograms! So, one by one, EVERY passenger is instantly angry and gets hit with a $65 fee per bag and all carry ons get checked. Stress and now we will be late upon our arrival as we didn’t anticipate checked luggage. After having your luggage weighed and deemed too heavy, you have to go wait on the “payment line” to pay your $65 fee. This is a joy - everyone is pissed. The staff is smirking and repeating, “don’t stress” over and over. After you pay your fee, you have to get BACK ON LINE to show the bag guy that you paid and then he put your bag on the conveyer. only, your bag is in a pile of all the other bag behind the counter. So he holds up each bag and says, “this one?” Farking nuts. Then you go and get BACK ON LINE to go through security. Then the gate....that’s a whole other debacle. 250 people crowded around the gate person. Literally hell. LOOK AT THE OTHER AIRLINES AROUND YOU. COPY THEM. Oh, no food or drinks on the plane unless you know the secret handshake. We realized this when the food cart and drink cart each passed us by. Mind you, this was t just our group. Every passenger around us has the same stress filled confused experience and we all spoke about it. Never, ever again. Pay the extra $100 and fly a proper airline."
Plussat: "The cheapest option still allowed for movie viewing and for a lax baggage capacity standard. Will fly Norwegian again and again."
Miinukset: "The in-flight USBchargers stopped charging after only 30 minutes"

Miinukset: "Delayed by almost 2 hours, with no updates, which caused a missed connection for most of the passengers. And then there was no mobile updates or any information at the transfer area, and we all had to go find informaiton at the Norwegian desk, which only had 1 person working. 6 more hour delay. Whoops!"
Plussat: "Pretty good but bring your own food and water"

Miinukset: "Not your fault, but it took 15 minutes for JFK to allow us to get off the plane. I also miss the days when everyone got food and drinks/snacks. I never see an option to pay for a meal, I thought even on cheaper flight search engines they would give you the option."
Miinukset: "Check in took forever. You had to first weigh your bag and we’re charged for 1Kilo over 65.00. You had to stand in lines that took longer than they should’ve been. First to check in bag and then another one to pay."
Plussat: "It was pretty cheap to travel but came with a lot of restrictions"
Miinukset: "Baggage allowances where very restricted and no headsets on airplane. Good choices where bad and had to pay for snacks and coffee."
Miinukset: "THEY LOST/MISPLACED MY LUGGAGE Still haven't received my luggage for my trip. Flight was also delayed."

Miinukset: "I didn’t realize the airline charges for EVERYTHING! Flight staff was not friendly. We were rarely acknowledged or asked if we needed anything. I will be looking at traveling with other airlines, ones that at least don’t charge me $60 for one bag."
Plussat: "The plane is new and the entertainment system was great"
Miinukset: "The seats in economy are extremely close together and difficult for a long overnight flight. Beverages are not offered but they will bring a cup of water if you request it. Check in was a disasters and took a very long time with 3 different check points and a lot of angry customers."

Plussat: "The 787 Dreamliner is a fantastic plane and it felt like the whole flight was just generally smoother. They seem to take punctuality very seriously. The free entertainment screens are fantastic for these long flights. Make sure to bring a set of standard earphones (otherwise pay $3.00). The crew was friendly and their uniforms are cute with plaid theme."
Miinukset: "My only complaint was the lack of meal options for purchase onboard. I didn’t realize you had to order the meals when purchasing the ticket, and figured there’d be an option to purchase onboard (for a higher price possibly?). Sadly, the only options for last-minute purhase are snacks. The closest thing to a “meal” was a hot cheese sandwich on wonder bread for $7. I probably should’ve done my homework, but it’d be so nice if they allowed purchase of meal while onboard."
Plussat: "Nothing particularly special."
Miinukset: "Arrived 4 hours delayed, and they always say due to weather to rid of any responsibilities. Flight had no food and had some insane safety warnings saying gathering in groups was not allowed. That's the most big brother thing I've heard in an airplane."
Plussat: "Good entertainment options on individual screens, where you can also order food"
Miinukset: "They charge for just about EVERYTHING. I was aware that checked luggage was not included in the ticket price so I prepaid for that. But be prepared: even on an 11-hour flight you must also reserve meals (i.e., prepay), or you'll be looking forward to buying from the "snack bar"--$9 for a small sandwich. Other items they charge for: water, earbuds, blankets... Don't even ask if there are free snacks. I'm surprised I wasn't charged for speaking with a crew member (when I could flag one down--good luck with that). They begin "boarding" 2 hours before departure. Why? So you can stand in a long line, no food venues nearby, to then be sequestered in an enclosed waiting area until they condescend to let you on the aircraft (no fee for that, surprisingly). Unless you prepaid another fee for expedited boarding. But if you're a common peasant I suggest taking a different discount airline where they actually care about their customers."

Miinukset: "Boarding handled poorly, stuff in standing-room-only and they boarded privileged members and families before disabled people, causing those of us who can't stand long to... stand a long time in line."
Plussat: "We like the automated self-check in for checked bags so you don't have to stand in long check in lines when you already have a boarding pass. we also like that the boarding process is fast and uncomplicated. Often planes are boarded from both ends."
Miinukset: "Norwegian charges for everything food related including coffee, so I didn't have anything ( and gave a neutral rating on that item)"
Miinukset: "I ordered red wine from the screen, waited 45 minutes, and then, because I hadn't used that system before, got up and inquired about it. The flight attendants looked like I was bothering them and just told me I had to wait. I said ok no problem. An hour and a half later, still no wine. I got up to ask about it and they, again, looked annoyed, doubted that I had ordered it, looked it up on their computer, and gave it to me eventually without any apology whatsoever. The most unfriendly staff I have had on an airplane. I understand it's a budget airline, but there is no need for that poor level of service."

Plussat: "It was late due to some problem with the plane that required additional paperwork and they did not inform us very well anout it. Food is confusing. We got little half cups for tea that we didn't realize were our tea cups."

This flight from Edinburgh to Lisbon was delayed ‘due to operational problems’ by almost 2.5 hours. The Gate was changed twice so there was a lot of standing around and moving not knowing what was happening. So many delays and changes. Eventually we were allowed out of the Gate to board the plane but something was a problem on the plane so we queued outside waiting for another 15 minutes to board, so frustrating!
Flight was uneventful, boarding was late and should have started earlier

Not a good experience when all of them starts standing like in a bar on top of your head and raise the volume of the voice for no reason. Also from the time we landed until the time we were allowed to leave the aircraft, 15 minutes passed. Without anyone telling us for what reason. Very annoying..."
Plussat: "That I made it home..and that the pilot was honest about running late and tried to make up the time. The guy checking us in at Fuerteventura was very pleasant."
Miinukset: "That the so called budget airline charges for everything..now on board bags. What next..a tariff for the toilet or to exit the plane..nothing would surprise me! 20kg isnt enough for a holiday...but just another excuse to charge more money. The on board staff never offered to help anyone struggling to find their seat or with their hand luggage. In fact the 2 girls at the back end of the plane were too busy bickering to notice anything. The space you get to sit in is ridiculous you can't even bend down in it. And the plane was delayed."
Miinukset: "1. We were told to follow ground crew to plane across tarmac and then not allowed to board once at top of stairs—poorly organized! 2. Rude and harsh cabin attendants. 3. When we arrived in Dublin, we were turned lose to find our way from the plane to the stairs into the terminal; once again poorly organized and unsafe!"
Plussat: "Nothing to like because I felt harangued. They nickel & dime you every step. Cheap rates means immense headache. Your money is wasted."
Miinukset: "Poor customer service, they charge you every step of the way. Tremendous loss of time."
Plussat: "I like nothing about this airline."
Miinukset: "No check in email reminder is provided. Had to wait in 3 different lines to print boarding pass, check in, and find out if your bag fit airline restrictions. We were charged 68 euro each to print boarding pass. The airports credit card machine was down and we were forced to go to an ATM and pay in cash. The carry on size restrictions are ridiculous. Your bag will be marked as too large (at a 50 additional euro charge) if it sicks out by 1 inch thickness wise, even if it fits into the box provided. Horrible experience and I will never use this airline again."
Miinukset: "I purchased Priority in order to have a carry-on, and even though the carry-on was fine for my first flight, they forced me to check it and pay 40 pounds for my second flight. Then the flight was delayed, causing me to miss my connection and completely ruining my entire travel day. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE LOW RATES. YOU WILL END UP LOSING MONEY."
Miinukset: "We were forced to get on the aircraft when it arrived late, with another 737 taxiing next to it( I know illegal). Then forced to sit on the plane for nearly 3 hours on the ground in heat. Staff were rude and awful. Everything was stupidly expensive, even water!!! When we eventually got to Manchester we had to wait in the plane again for 45minutes for the bus to arrive to take us to the airport. Only one person on passport control. Where our bags were all in a pile on the floor because of some malfunction. Ryanair flights are hell!!"
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed and they were not communicating with the passengers. They had us standing for an hour without letting us know they flight was delayed and you can’t find information online. Also it seems their goal was to charge everyone for luggage and the overhead compartments were pretty empty."
Miinukset: "They charge €65 to issue you a boarding pass if you don’t check-in online, which is impossible if you don’t have a data plan when traveling and when the confirmation they send you is a different language (Greek when flying out of santorini). About 40 people on our flight of ~170 had to pay €65 extra! Customer service is also horrible as they really don’t care to help you at all!"
Miinukset: "Very unimpressed with Kayak. Was contacted to pay more money than originally sold due to their speed of service between me buying via kayak and them contacting Ryanair. Flight was absolutely fine but kayak service awful."

Miinukset: "The boarding process is ridiculous. First they force you to check-in online. We had a very spotty internet connection on Santorini (on an island - shocker!) so it took me almost an hour to get the app to finally let me check-in. Then they forced us to print out our boarding passes (they wouldn't allow electronic boarding passes for non-eu members). Unfortunately our small villa didn't have a working printer. So...we were charged $18 per person just to print out the freaking boarding passes. Are you kidding me??? Absolutely asinine. Then we had to go through a ridiculous line to drop our bags, another ridiculous line to get our passports checked (and this was a domestic flight), then we had to sit on the floor because the waiting area ran out of seats, then forced to stand outside in the heat for another 10-15 minutes waiting on the bus. Uggh. One of the worst experiences I've had flying (and I've been to 46 countries)..."

Miinukset: "As a non-EU passport holder, Ryan Air didn't communicate when I would be receiving my boarding pass (answer: 3 days prior to flying). Also, I needed to print my boarding pass because of my non-EU status. I found all of this out last minute and it was a little stressful while I was abroad since printers weren't at my disposal. On the day of my flight, everything went smoothly until they made me check my bag at the gate before boarding because they claimed my bag was too big and wanted to save room for other carry-ons. It's not, I've complied with all the dimensions and weight policies. Additionally, I purchased priority boarding for the sole reason of securing a place for my carry-on. I found all of this out when I was on the tarmac. The staff wasn't nice about it and I was overall irritated by the lack of communication. While I was in flight, the staff kept trying to sell duty-free products such as perfumes, food and other goods. This would have been fine for a bit but they literally filled the airwaves during the 45 minute trip with product announcements and pricing on the intercom system and trolling the galley holding stuff up the air. It felt like I was at a hectic auction house. Really odd and annoying."

Miinukset: "The customer service representative at the Dublin airport for Ryanair was extremely rude and was annoyed from the moment we stepped up to the desk. Yes, Ryanair is a budget airline but it costs $0 to be nice and helpful especially if you are working in customer service."
