I was force to by one more ticket when I live from I very small income. So know my 3 months social security I have to pay the new ticket. No mony left for food or my medication."
Miinukset: "The flight left early, without me. Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

After I bought the ticket it was offered 24 hours later at very much Lowe price ( 25%less than what I paid for). I contacted the Turkish airlines but they never give me any credit or compensation."
Plussat: "Once on the plane everything was fine."
Miinukset: "My first flight was changed. Only one email was send about that change. It got lost in some other emails so I didn't see it. But I did not receive any other update or reminder. So I had figure out how to change all of my flights from there to Kansas in the States. All with bad internet service and unhelpful costomer service. And having to deal with two unexpected long layovers. All that to say, sending periodic emails is important especially if the flight had been changed."
Plussat: "Absolutely nothing, because it never happened."
Miinukset: "I don't like the fact that I'm stuck in a hotel in turkey without an inkling of when my flight will take off or if it will even take off. I was sent from desk to desk and everyone I spoke with said the same thing, "I don't know" , To every singlee question I had. I slept In the airport like a homeless person just to be shuttled around turkey afterwards in search of a hotel, and I say search because the shuttle that was provided went to 2 different hotels before we got to the one I'm in now. I'm disgusted, and afraid I won't even get a flight out of here."
Miinukset: "Why this difference between India to Istanbul and Istanbul to New York flights?!!!!"
Plussat: "Most important all flights ran on schedule. Food service and quality were excellent and a great surprise Clean and new aircraft I would travel Turkish Air again and recommend to other friends"
Miinukset: "At 6'3" I was a bit jammed up in Economy Security was a bit overdone. Initial screening X-Ray carry on bags, thru metal detector. After landing Zurich--Istanbul, again thru xRay and hand screening, then again at gate complete screening again. I guess better too much than not enough."
Plussat: "I don't understand, national flags so minimum information to passenger to found connection flight gate in Istanbul airport. No passports controller, no one person. Finally i found may gate..in have seated at boarding lounge, after that we must que again, they make passport control..wasting time."

Impossible to relax/sleep, I ended up with back pain and legs cramped for 2 full days. Terrible overnight flight. Luggage policy is not clear. Carry on items have to weight less than 8 kg (normally is 12 kg), and to check your bag you have to pay. No personal tv/entertainment."

There was also confusion over whether bags had to be checked or not, with one person giving us tags but then no one looking at the tags prior to boarding. The whole check in process seemed poorly organized."
Miinukset: "Watch out for the extra fees and restrictions. We booked a flight knowing that we weren’t allowed a free carryon. We didn’t know the cost for one checked bag was $120!"

Miinukset: "We missed our connecting flight due to the fact that the TAP crew leaving Barcelona said there was “fog” and therefore, nearly half of the flight had the same connecting flight to London. On top of it, they had no other flights and put us up in a hotel instead."
Miinukset: "Delayed by 30 hours with very little assistance, no money or spare clothes. Shocking treatment by TAP staff. Will NEVER fly with them again."
Miinukset: "A little too warm but not unbearable. We paid extra for seats together but did not get to pick them. We would have preferred a window but were in the middle 2 of 4."
Plussat: "There was a major problem with my booking and I went through almost 2 hours or stress thinking I would not be let on the flight. This has never happened with Kayak. But it was really bad. TAP insisted they could not book me on as Azores Airlines from Pinta Delgado to Toronto was not booked for me. I had to call bothe airlines. With no help from the desk. I finally got both to confirm and at the last minute was allowed on the flight. I chose this route to have a nice couple of days in Portugal and I will have. But the flight start was really upsetting."

Miinukset: "At checkin in Miami, Agent at the counter was utmost arrogant with no customer skills whatsoever, lack of manners, the whole counter operated like some bad dream circus. Luggage fee you learn about at checkin is the cheapest scam ever!"

Miinukset: "We did the extended layover to experience one night and one morning/afternoon in the city. A 2 -1/2 hour delay took away our chance to see the city at night."
Miinukset: "I did all my research when I booked my flight. Nowhere did it tell me I was booking a discount flight. I had to pay extra for my bag on a long international flight, which I make frequently. Absolutely misleading an unjust. I feel cheated, I will never fly Air Portugal again and I will warn all my colleagues in the travel and tourism industry that I work about the disgrace I felt as a passenger with Air Portugal. It's not the first time I flew with them, but it will be the last!"

Plussat: "The hotel and accommodation were prepared, as we delay the connection flight to Miami because of the bad weather. BUT NOBODY GAVE US A CALMING INFORMATION ABOUT THAT 3 HOURS LONG TIME. WE WERE FORCED REMAIN IN THE CABIN 70 MINUTES AFTER LANDING!!!"

Miinukset: "The food service was cancelled due to being short a flight attendant. We were initially advised that the food had not made it to the aircraft. Afterwards we saw the crew eating while we were left with no food or drink service. We then discovered that since they were short one crew member the crew would not serve food or drinks for "safety concerns". It turns out they could have served but preferred to adhere to their union under the guise of passenger safety and remain seated the entire flight doing crossword puzzles and the like which definitely made me feel much safer."

A big disappointment versus the flight we had from BXL to PORTO !"

I don't think people should be subject to unknown chemicals in order for the airline to save time on cleaning the cabin before take off."

Don't spill drinks on you unlike certain airlines (looking at you Air France) Decent in-flight entertainment system and comfortable plane (well, as far as you can get in an economy) Basically everything related to the actual flight was great."
Miinukset: "The fish entree was oversalted, but maybe that's how they eat fish in Belgium. In general airplane food took a huge nosedive in the last 10 years, so I'm not surprised."

Furthermore, since I assumed I'll be getting my checked in luggage for free (as it states on the miles and more website) I didn't pay for it in advance a fee of 35$, meaning they made me pay 65$ in the airport."
Plussat: "Flight was delayed and we had to spend time Waiting both in the terminal and the plane. But crew was very nice!"

I am used to boarding in zones so things tend to be less congested leading up to the jetway. - This may or may not have been something the airline could have changed but sitting in the plane for 5 hours waiting to de-ice was unacceptable. The entire food service was served in this time so no food was available for the 6 hour flight to Accra. Had we been able to wait in the terminal, passengers could get their own food and the food for the flight could have been saved. Also, they ran out of chicken dishes by the time I was served and I was left with fish only. Had I been a vegetarian, this would have been unacceptable."

Miinukset: "I bought my flight 2 months before, and at the gate I was told I'm on stand by, after the check in agent already took my bag, and without any explanation. No one could tell me WHY I was all of a suddent on standby. The answer I got was "I don't know, that's just how it is in the system". Completely unacceptable and against airline policy. I will be filing an official complaint with Brussels Airlines."
Plussat: "I liked the multi-lingual flight attendants. Friendly and seemed to help everyone get what they need. Pilot performed a smooth landing and the flight was quite smooth."
Miinukset: "Aircraft need to stay grounded for 2 hours for repairs... After we already boarded! It was very hot, everyone was sweating profusely and facing themselves with magazines. The flight should have just been delayed and everyone should have waited in the comfort of the airport terminal to board later rather than suffering. The headrests are horrible. They jut out and but stress on you upper back, and force you to slouch, which hurts your lower back. I am a pretty resilient young dude, but even I was packing my sweatshirt, pillow, and blanket behind my back to make the seat mildly comfortable. A car style seat would have been much much more comfortable. Worst of all, I had a 12 hour layover, and during that time MY BAG DIDN'T EVEN GET PUT ON THE PLANE! I am on a budget so I couldn't buy toiletries and clothes to wear so I stank for days before my bags were located, brought from Toronto to Brussels, and then delivered to where I'm staying in Belgium. This is easily the worst flying experience I have ever had in my life."

Miinukset: "Received a text message that my flight back to the US was canceled. The first time I called Brussels Airlines customer service, I was offered only the same flight one or two days later. Phone support person was very unfriendly and unwilling to look at other options like booking me on another flight that same day."
