Had to take 2 slow elevators (no escalators!), go through the underground walkway connecting B and A sections and finally walk to one of the outermost gates to board. We were bused; our bus waited next to the plane for quite a long time full of people and without AC. It was a very unpleasant experience."

Miinukset: "The biggest complaint I have was that one of the restrooms in my section was out-of-order. That meant a lot of waiting, but everyone was understanding and good about taking turns. The movie selection could have used a bit more mystery type films, but that is my taste. I did watch a few movies I hadn't seen."

The crew walked around the cabin many time throughout the long flight with drinks on their trays (not just the usual drink service) which was much appreciated. Overall they get a 10 from me! This was my first time flying with Lufthansa. I will most definitely fly with them again and recommend to all my friends."

Miinukset: "They charge 100 Euro for a bag that's just a bit over their weight limit, that's ridiculous! On a continuous flight, I had to collect my luggage and re-check it. On a connect-up flight I was made to exit the airport's secured area and go again through TSA, and barely had time to catch my next flight with a little over 2 hrs of layover! After paying 100 Euroes for a bag that was a bit over weight, they broke one of the wheels.. And keep in mind that this was a high quality expensive bag!"
Miinukset: "The quality of vegetable roll served was absolutely not upto the mark. And when asked for an alternative such as a bread bun with butter .. that too was denied. For a long flight this small things make a lot of difference in the customer satisfaction."
Miinukset: "Terrible to have to pay 70 Euros when you are an elite gold status member. And no mention of this during booking process and checkin unless you dig in deep via links. Not used to this with other airline partners and likely last time I am flying SAS"

Plussat: "Planes are newish and comfortable. Decent amount of room in economy. Very good entertainment system with a not of great Nordic content (Swedish, Danish and Norwegian movies) Food was pretty good for an airplane. The service is excellent. I slept through the meal service, but they still made it a point to get me a meal when I woke up. Old fashioned tea and coffee service, with a steward going up and down the aisles with proper tea and coffee pots. Very professional, a high end feel to everything."

Miinukset: "The flight from EWR to Oslo was delayed by over 2 hours which meant I would miss my next connection... and I understand that happens sometimes. But, it was after hours on the airline number phone number and the fly.com customer service could not help with finding an alternate connection from Oslo to FRA. It was frustrating to then have to wait at Oslo airport for another 4 hours before the new connecting flight."

Miinukset: "My husband was unable to check in on line. SAS when contacted by phone which was difficult to do because it is hard to locate their number had no explanation other than maybe due to security. We missed a tour due to the time spent (unsuccessfully) trying to solve this problem."

Miinukset: "Boarding was a little rough as the announcements in groups to board was not clear and lots of people got in line that should not have. - causing delays and frustrations. Handled poorly by gate team"

Miinukset: "I was upset that neither Kayak nor SAS provided any information about our ticket being a basic, basic ticket, by which I mean, did not include any checked luggage allowance in the price of the flight. I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."

Miinukset: "The (transatlantic) flight was delayed 8 hours and the only compensation received was 175DKK for lunch. Had to stay in the airport over 11 hours due to this delay and had already had a 16 hour layover from the day before. I realize that unexpected delays may occur, particularly in cases where passenger safety is in question, but delays of more than 5 hours cause major inconvenience and I felt stuck in the airport with my bags and having checked out of my hotel room already. Just compensating for lunch is not enough. In the future a partial reimbursement for the flight, access to the priority lounge or a more comfortable facility such as a hotel would provide the passengers with compensation proportional to the inconvenience."

Miinukset: "When waiting to board the flight, it was difficult to understand when different parts of the plane were boarding because of the soft volume of the loud speakers. All people could really hear was "boarding now", which created a bit of a rush of everyone. It would be helpful if there were an SAS representative to stand next to the line, to physically say to people, 'Okay, we are now only doing priority boarding. If you are priority boarding, please stand her. After that, if you are business class, please stand here. Everyone else, please wait, but know that we will start to board from the back of the plane. Then they came out to answer the phone and said we were 10 minutes past the cut off and we could not fly."
Miinukset: "Staff just walked away while we were in line, the rudeness and mean attitude, they blamed us for being too late after ignoring us and made us late, they didn't offer an alternative flight until we asked. Overall, horrible customer service. Never been treated so rudely by people in the airlines industry in my entire 42 years of flying!"
Plussat: "The crew was super friendly and always gave the feeling that they want the customers to feel comfortable and enjoy the flight. One of the crew members even offered me to move to an emergency exit seat (without me asking to move) because I am tall. Amazing!"

Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Miinukset: "It's an a380, stains everywhere, aisles between seats narrow even for business, caos at CDG, no clear queues, ground staff shout at passengers, food selection good but huge gap between describtion and reality, in JFK we waited for 30 minutes cause the docking spot was too narrow for the captain, sky priority? The economy got their bags before 1st and business."
Plussat: "Standard stuff"
Miinukset: "Our first leg from Paris was delayed and we missed our flight to Dubrovnik. We then had to hire a car and drive 6 hours to ensure we wouldn't lose a day more of our holiday."
Miinukset: "Bording far away, got my cabin luggage and everyone elses into the cellar because ¨it didn´t fit in the plane¨. There was plenty of room, I had breakable stuff in my luggage, didn´t get the chance to choose. No entertainment AT ALL. Confort: no leg space at all. Not an AirFrance plane, subcontracted. Lousy food."
Plussat: "The flight was good overall. Friendly crew good attention."
Miinukset: "There was a delay due to technical dificulties in previous flight. This caused a delay in take off and no AC while waiting in the plane for 40 minutes."
Plussat: "A short flight but attendants served us a snack and water with a smile."
Miinukset: "No business class"
Plussat: "I had a choice of movies, games and music that was very appealing. My concerns about not receiving the correct meal was handled professionally and promptly during the flight. I was surprised they couldn't discover I only ordered it for the second leg of my flight."
Miinukset: "Being placed into a window seat at 6' 5". Although I opted for general seating rather than paying for a extra leg room which is out of my budget. Not getting an aisle seat was disturbing at my height. Then there was the guy in front of me not willing to forego putting his seat back on my knees for over half the flight. It would be nice if the seat assignments for general boarding considered the height of the person being assigned."
Plussat: "Spacing was ok"
Miinukset: "Scents. Perfumes. Products that have scents that irritate airways. Not good for asthma and allergies."
Plussat: "The crew"
Miinukset: "Not enough room for legs. Small amounts of food. No entertainment."
Plussat: "Good food. Although no Cappucino as in AF from Sanfransisco to Paris."
Miinukset: "No entertainment at al. Specifically, I could not lean my seat b/c of a mom with a baby behind me..."
Plussat: "The crew was friendly."
Miinukset: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."
Plussat: "The crew was nice .."
Miinukset: "We were very late for take off. Don't understand why No USB plug. No charging spots. No video. No movie. No radio. No wifi."
Plussat: "Food was surprisingly plentiful and good. Crew was friendly and helpful. Movie selections were adequate."
Miinukset: "The leg room between seats was non-existant. I'm only average height and it was terribly cramped. For a taller person it would be torture."
